Obama Says Immigration Reform
Would Boost Home Values

Cybercast News Service, by Susan Jones

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 8/7/2013 12:17:29 PM

Fixing the nation´s "broken" immigration system "would actually help our housing market," President Barack Obama told enthusiastic high school students in Phoenix, Arizona on Tuesday. "It´s pretty simple," the president said. "When -- when more people buy homes and play by the rules, home values go up for everybody. And according to one recent study, the average homeowner has already seen the value of their home boosted by thousands of dollars just because of immigration. "And the good news is, with the help of your senators, John McCain

Comments:
Sure it will. Those illegals are flush with cash and will really boost that market. Wouldn´t you love for about 30 drug cartel members (the only ones with cash) to move in next door. s/o Once again McCain´s name is mentioned. He should just surrender and go over to the Democrats.

My Daughter sold her house and is renting temporarily, and said that the owner begged them to rent her property. Said all she was getting were people with multiple "families". We live in Nor Cal. and this is a pretty nice area. As you can see they reaaaaaaly boost home sales....

Low income workers; remember what happened the last time the democrats in the likes of Barney Frank and Dodd, changing the rules so that banks were forced to loan money to low income people so that they could buy houses. Yes, the housing market went up (supply and demand), the low income folks took every penny out in home equity loans for travel and clothes, and then when they could not pay even the minimum, they got to live rent free for the next four years. Insanity is doing the same thing over again, and hoping for a better result.

Sure worked well 5 years ago when prices crashed partly due to many illegals not being able to pay their loans. Used to be illegal and not prudent to loan to illegals not any more.

See there´s the rub, isn´t it; ´play by the rules.´ Like the rules for immigrating in the first place, which so many of those Obama is offering amnesty to have not? Which so many who take the Fanny Mae loans have not?

Yeah, that´ll fix it...I´m sure.
From now on, once we fix that horridly unfair border thing, we´ll do better, and those folks will change their spots. Just you wait and see.

As a side bar issue, quite frankly I am sick of hearing about "controlling the border".

That border could be a fence a hundred miles high and a mile thick. Ok, so you close the border.

People will still come to visit "families", nice and legal, a vacation if you will, and never go home.

The only real fix is that there will never be jobs available to anyone here illegally--never. Nor any assistance of any kind. Ever. And if you are pulled over by the police for anything, you are thrown out of the country.

THAT is what will fix the problem, not a fence. In fact, using the above program, you don´t even need a fence.

Of course, in order for that to ever happen, I would have to actually go to see Obama speak. That ain´t gonna ever happen. The only time I would ever want to see him is if he were wearing an ange jumpsuit and handcuffs.

If it is so good for housing values to have a gaggle of illegals move in, then why did stinky change the HUD rules to force us to have illegals into suburbs and prevent landlords from being able to refusal rentals to any Section 8 recipients in urban areas?
He is ginning the system so that the illegals will be stashed in apartments and in vacant houses and in foreclosed houses and thereby wreck entire neighborhoods.
He wants to put them and felons among all of us so that he can take us all down.

This is actually true - which why the real estate industry is so very much for open borders.

Yes, illegals may ´destroy´ a particular neighborhood - call it (A), but those impacted - say, working poor - move on to another neighborhood (B). This shift in turn causes the lower middle class in (B) to move to neighborhood (C). And so on. Like musical chairs. The last one without a chair, or a neighborhood gets to pay for new construction.

Lots of Realtor fees generated. Find me a Realtor who is against open borders. Nothing in the Bush-era economy was working well - except home construction which is a main reason why he was so gung-ho about amnesty. Barry doesn´t even have construction to point to (his economic policies being so poisonous) so he is hoping to get some traction in home building.

When the housing crisis broke a few years ago they featured an illegal alien lady on TV, she earned $10.00 per hour picking fruit and vegetables and they gave her a $300,000 mortgage on a one family house that she could no way ever pay back. After the mortgage was issued to her, she had a number of other illegal aliens living in the house who all pitched in each month so that the lady could make her mortgage payment. Once the housing balloon burst, those illegal aliens who were working in the construction industry had no work, so they all went back to Mexico. Following that the lady could not meet her mortgage payments, and she was foreclosed on. There are probably many thousands of stories similar to that. There is no doubt that Obama intends to start passing out new mortgages to people who will never be able to repay them. He already has a mortgage refinancing program that resulted in hundreds of thousands of mortgage holders refinanced under that program who have defaulted again.

I talked to someone today that will never be able to sell their home because an army of Haitians bought the house next door. They intended to retire in that home and pay the mortgage off. Now they live in h-ll.
With investors buying cheap foreclosed homes, many will be rented rather than flipped.
Given the ever changing situation in any neighborhood today, why would anyone want a permanent home while the ghettos spread out ?

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) cannot account for nearly 50,000 foreign students taking advantage of a student work visa program, according to a new report released by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on Friday. Immigration reform may be stalled in Congress, but a new Obama administration policy is extending legal status and military benefits to thousands of illegal immigrants who are the spouses, parents and children of American military members. Supporters say the policy -- which applies to active-duty military, reservists and veterans -- is long overdue. "Those veterans and those men and women who serve in the National Guard certainly deserve the peace of mind that their family members will not be deported," immigration attorney Faye Kolly said. But critics say the policy is tantamount to backdoor amnesty. "A whole class of aliens

The most dangerous parts of a flight are takeoff and landing. Rarely do incidents happen when a plane is cruising seven miles above the earth. So the disappearance of a Malaysia Airlines jet well into its flight Saturday morning over the South China Sea has led aviation experts to assume that whatever happened was quick and left the pilots no time to place a distress call. (Snip) The problem had to be big enough, he said, to stop the plane´s transponder from broadcasting its location, although the transponder can be purposely shut off from the cockpit.
