Bill Clinton dishes on vegan diet
Politico, by Caitlin McDevitt

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 8/1/2013 1:44:48 PM

After three years on a vegan diet, former President Bill Clinton says he doesn’t crave steak. But cutting back on bread has been tough. "Heavily processed carbs, you really have to control that," Clinton told AARP in a recent interview about his eating habits. The former president, now 66, went on a strict diet after a health scare in 2010, and he says he´s kept it up. "I just decided that I was the high-risk person [for heart problems], and I didn´t want to fool with this anymore. And I wanted to live to be a grandfather," Clinton said.

Comments:
Oh puhleeze. Does anyone really believe the old horn dog?? I don´t believe a word that passes through the lips of him, his wife, or any Democrat for that matter.

I don´t know about him being ´vegan´, but there a certain bull byproduct which still dominates his life.

Funny everyone focused on the vegan thing - that´s a personal choice and what your own body can handle. Didn´t work for me, a paleo-type eating habit works for me.

What I found most interesting was his statement that he wanted to live long enough to enjoy grandfatherhood - I thought to myself "Im not sure that´s going to happen, big boy" - Chelsea seems to be floundering trying to find her niche in the world, and being a mom doesn´t seem a priority.

Researchers at Princeton and Northwestern universities have pored over 1,800 US policies and concluded that America is an oligarchy. But the government is not the only American power whose motivations need to be rigourously examined. Some 2,400 miles away from Washington, in Silicon Valley, Google is aggressively gaining power with little to keep it in check. John Kerry, meanwhile, was marked with a “Probably not.” “Hillarycare” ended up dying in the Democratic-controlled Senate in 1994 without coming to a floor vote.
