Diplomatic Security agent David Ubben has been receiving treatment at Walter Reed Military Medical Center after being severely wounded on September 11, 2012 when the U.S. consulate in Benghazi was attacked by terrorists. According to Fox News, Ubben waited for help on top of a roof for 20 hours. What difference does waiting that long make? The lives of two Navy SEALs. During the second wave of attacks on Benghazi, David Ubben was on the rooftops with the Navy SEALS.

There was no reason to go to help because we couldn´t have responded in the 6 hours or how ever the story once went. How the blazes anyone knew the 7th, 8th, and even 20th hour didn´t matter has always escaped me, more so now.

Be ashamed. Prison isn´t good enough for those that didn´t care about our sons and daughters putting their lives on the line in some hellhole.

Banking isn’t a wonderful life now

In the last two months, there has been a rash of suicides and mysterious deaths sweeping the world of high finance. JPMorgan has been hardest hit, with three untimely deaths in just the last few weeks, and last week Autumn Radtke (left), a 28-year-old CEO of First Meta, a small cyber-currency exchange, jumped to her death in Singapore. Historically, suicide rates rise during times of financial stress and economic downturns. Now, though stocks are at or near all-time highs, for many Wall Street bankers these are times of setbacks and stress. Today’s bankers are not a settled, comfortable bunch anymore. A day doesn’t

1. What happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370? With 239 people aboard, the plane lost contact with air-traffic controllers shortly into the flight early Saturday. Cruising at roughly 35,000 feet, the plane was traversing the South China Sea less than an hour after takeoff when Malaysian controllers lost touch and the pilots failed to report to Vietnamese controllers along their anticipated path, according to data provided by the carrier and authorities from both countries.

It came straight from the horse’s mouth. Actor Liam Neeson who hosted a dozen City Council members Sunday at the stables that house Central Park carriage horses showed some unbridled anger at Mayor de Blasio’s absence. “He should have manned up and come," Neeson said about Hizzoner. "I´m disappointed he´s not here." The “Non-Stop” actor invited all 51 council members to the stables to show the horses are treated humanely in a bid to derail the mayor´s planned ban on the industry "These horses are well cared for," said Neeson, who has become the carriage drivers´ highest-profile ally, at the Clinton Park

NATIONAL HARBOR, Md. — Texas Gov. Rick Perry delivered one of the best-received speeches so far at the Conservative Political Action Conference, bringing the audience to its feet and eliciting loud cheers Friday morning as he outlined a small-government vision and praised the accomplishments of fellow Republican governors. Perry, whose 2012 presidential campaign crumbled amid a series of missteps — including the infamous “oops” moment, in which he forgot one of the three federal agencies he wanted to abolish — is weighing another go-round in 2016, and his allies insist that this time, the campaign would go differently. Armed men thought to be Russian have seized a Ukrainian military base in the Crimean city of Sevastopol. A Reuters news agency journalist said no shots were fired and negotiations between the two sides were going on. Interfax-Ukraine earlier reported that about 100 Ukrainian servicemen had been deployed at the base before the raid. Troops wearing Russian uniform without insignia and their supporters have blockaded bases in Crimea since taking control of the peninsula last week.

Last month, President Obama took an action making it easier for supporters of Islamist terrorists to be granted asylum in this country. At the same time, persecuted Christians face a brick wall at the Obama State Department in their efforts to secure refugee status, and a report this week reveals Israeli officials are now finding it more difficult to get simple visitor visas or to even renew existing visas. Why is all of this suddenly emerging? After the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, none of us ever imagined a dozen years later we’d be negotiating with the Taliban in Afghanistan, supplying aid

The Obama administration announced a new policy on Wednesday that will allow many people to renew their existing insurance policies for two more years even though the policies don’t provide the comprehensive coverage and consumer protections required by the Affordable Care Act. The move is designed to provide political cover for Democratic senators facing tough re-election campaigns in Republican-leaning states where the president is especially unpopular. The Democrats have been hit with a barrage of attack ads from conservative political-action groups highlighting the cases of individuals who complained that they faced higher premiums when their old (less comprehensive) policies were canceled

Ahead of a possible Hillary Clinton 2016 run, the Republican National Committee is getting in on the quest for long-withheld documents from the Clinton Presidential Library. “Americans deserve to know who was responsible for keeping on lockdown documents that should have been released over a year ago,” said RNC Chairman Reince Priebus in releasing the request Friday morning, noting that the 12-year shelter period for the documents expired in January, 2013. “It’s easy to see why Democrats would want them hidden," Priebus charges. Bob Costas got his infamous case of Olympic pink eye from botched Botox, a source claims to Page Six. NBC’s prime-time Olympics host, who had to take a six-day absence after coming down with viral conjunctivitis in both eyes, contracted the infection after a Botox procedure to smooth out wrinkles prior to the Olympics. Our source said, “Bob’s eye infection was due to botched Botox. This isn’t the first time he’s had it.” NBC strongly denies that Costas — who arrived to host the games in Sochi with a forehead smoother than the Olympic luge track — developed the infection from a

Even as it has grown into a new type of digital money worth billions of dollars, Bitcoin has always retained an air of mystery. After all, Bitcoin was a project dedicated in part to making it easier to avoid the all-seeing gaze of the government and corporate America. One of the most seismic changes in American politics over the last decade has been the emergence of a sharp generational split among the electorate. The Democratic Party owes its success in the last two presidential elections almost entirely to overwhelming support among the very young, which has overcome continued conservatism among older voters. The Pew Research Institute has dominated the field of exploring the ideological cleavages among different generations. And its latest survey shows again how the liberalism of the youngest voting cohort, millennials, remains firm, and likely to continue to recast the electorate. A few charts from the survey

Barack Obama´s parents were "married in name only," according to David Maraniss´s 2012 Barack Obama: The Story. But since definitions of an "in name only" marriage vary, such as "a marriage of convenience" or "a sexless marriage," and Maraniss failed to explain his claim, it is unclear what he was implying. Therefore, Obama´s oft-told nativity story must be searched for the full implications of Obama´s parents´ "in name only" marriage. New York City lefty Mayor Bill de Blasio was elected in a landslide with more than 73 percent of the vote last November. Yet after only two months on the job, his approval rating has been cut nearly in half, with only 39 percent of city voters expressing approval of the job he has done so far. The most dangerous parts of a flight are takeoff and landing. Rarely do incidents happen when a plane is cruising seven miles above the earth. So the disappearance of a Malaysia Airlines jet well into its flight Saturday morning over the South China Sea has led aviation experts to assume that whatever happened was quick and left the pilots no time to place a distress call. (Snip) The problem had to be big enough, he said, to stop the plane´s transponder from broadcasting its location, although the transponder can be purposely shut off from the cockpit.

Hi, everybody. This week, I traveled to New England, where I was joined by four governors who are working to raise the minimum wage in each of their states. And they’ve also joined me in calling on Congress to raise the minimum wage from $7.25 to $10.10 an hour. Because it would give nearly 800,000 Americans in their states a raise — and lift wages for about 28 million across the country. So these governors aren’t waiting for Congress to make up its mind. And in my State of the Union Address, I asked America’s business leaders to go ahead and do what they could to raise their employees’ wages, too.
