How is the U.S. like Sweden? In its low murder rate. That is, if you include in the statistics only non-blacks in the U.S. legally.(snip)In round numbers, there are about 250 million non-blacks in the U.S. legally. So their murder rate is about 1.0 per 100,000, or the same as Sweden´s. A murder rate of 1.0 is in the same league as the Europeans who like to call us gun-crazy cowboys. But it´s not the "cowboys" who are doing the killing. (In fact, Idaho, Montana, Utah, and Wyoming have murder rates significantly lower than the U.S. average.
I´d also like to scrub the numbers to exclude the fine courageous people who have overcome the legacy of slavery in their families relatively recent past, the hucksters profiteering from that past, and the lure of free stuff. Take out, Juan Williams, Dr. Carson.... Then what are you left with? And take out Obama and other blacks who´s families never experienced slavery in North America.
You don´t have to trash any Americans to say it this way:
When you compare American murder rates to foreign murder rates every identifiable American ethnic group with a counterpart abroad in some other nation, the American rate is LOWER!
In short, we are all sweethearts relative to our bloodthirsty screaming savage cousins in other countries!
Then, when it comes to Europeans and East Asians, you have to forget completely about WWII when it comes to death by firearms if you want to come into the same neighborhood as even the worst gun killers in the Americas ~ and that would be the urban areas in Brazil I believe!
So non blacks and legal Americans have a lower murder rate than the arrogant Europeans! So much for the false "Americans are a violent people." The Dem Plantation is responsible for 52 % of murders by blacks and 30%by ILLEGALS! King is right - Dreamers are not all Class Valedictorians. Dems want to destroy America from within by black pathology and violent illegals. Senate bill allows criminal, aliens a pass - more of the same.
In the politically correct hothouse of an elite university campus, all sorts of bizarre theories and beliefs flourish. Did you know that grammar is racist? That´s the gist of a kerfuffle currently playing out at UCLA, the taxpayer-funded institution that is one of America´s most prominent research universities, and a global brand name (UCLA-licensed tee shirts and other merchandise are wildly popular overseas -- scores of of dedicated UCLA merchandise stores and departments exist in Japanese, South Korean and Chinese malls and department stores) and bring in substantial royalties to the university). How ironic that Japanese Korean and Chinese students who
The ability of people to enroll in online college course is a grave threat to the power of professors. First and most obviously, it is low cost, high quality competition. If students can listen to lectures by superstar professors from elite schools like Harvard or Stanford for free or nearly free, they might not be so anxious to fork over tuition for the local talent at a second or third tier institution. The faculty at San Jose State University understands this very well, and have revolted against their institution participating in Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs)(snip)Leave it to Zeke [Emanuel]
OK, I am a bad person because I am really enjoying the pain that Democrats are experiencing over Obamacare. Jonathan Allen and Jennifer Haberkorn report on Politico: Veteran House Democratic aides are sick over the insurance prices they´ll pay under Obamacare, and they´re scrambling to find a cure. "In a shock to the system, the older staff in my office (folks over 59) have now found out their personal health insurance costs (even with the government contribution) have gone up 3-4 times (snip)The best part of it is that people who consider themselves smarter than the rest of us suddenly find themselves
The Hill reports that Republican members of Congress are contemplating actions to combat President Obama´s lawbreaking methods of ruling from the Oval Office. "GOP officials have long claimed that the president has violated the law and the Constitution through administrative actions on issues ranging from immigration to nominations to the U.S. military involvement in Libya," (snip)Obama has now reached the tipping point, however, with his illegal "fix" of Obamacare designed to overcome his lie that Americans can keep their health insurance. The president´s open lawbreaking following his notorious lying puts Democrats´ electoral prospects at risk. It frustrates the unquestioning goodwill and
You may have thought that the most painful part of Obamacare was the rollout of healthcare.gov. Sadly, the worst is yet to come. Obamacare has a Three-Step Cancellation Program that ends with cancelling you. Step One: Cancel your insurance By "cancel your insurance," I mean precisely the opposite result of what President Obama initially promised: to reduce (eliminate?) the stain of having millions of uninsured Americans. In October 2013, millions of our countrymen and women began to receive notices that their health insurance carriers were canceling their existing insurance effective 2014 in order to comply with Obamacare. (snip) Step Two: Cancel
The irony is just too delicious. Remember when President Obama rounded up some of the few people who were able to sign up for Obamacare, and one of them fainted? He also cited a letter he got from a Washington State woman, Jessica Sanford. Libertyfirstnews summarizes: Obama related Sanford´s story in remarks from the Rose Garden last Oct. 21: "I recently received a letter from a woman named Jessica Sanford in Washington state, and here´s what she wrote. ´I am a single mom, no child support, self-employed, and I haven´t had health insurance for 15 years
While black celebrities such as Oprah continue to claim that Obama is opposed and disrespected because he is black, the truth is the polar opposite. Because Obama is black, he enjoys unprecedented imperialistic power and respect. Obama ignores the Constitution, changing and refusing to enforce laws at will. Despite impeachable offenses, white America does not have the stomach to impeach the first "African-American" president.(snip)How are millions of white Americans responding to being called racist by black celebs (Oprah, Samuel L. Jackson, Morgan Freeman, and others) who have become multimillionaires as a result of white patronage? These black celebs are absurdly using
While families across the Midwest were reeling from tornadoes and storm damage, President Obama spent four hours playing golf Sunday (his 151st round of golf as president) and then took in a college basketball game at the University of Maryland. The Maryland Terrapins were taking on the Oregon State Beavers, coached by Michelle´s older brother Craig Robinson. What a great day for the president! His two favorite sports in one day. What, me worry? But it was not all sweetness and light. You see, the fans actually booed him. And people were Tweeting about it (snip) it´s going to be a
A disturbing trend among American conservatives is the increasing sense of optimism about President Obama´s slow fade in mainstream perceptions, and its ramifications for the future of American leftism. Does Obama´s decline entail the undoing of the movement he represents? Progressivism´s history reveals another option, which is that the movement will, in the name of saving itself, reject Obama. Progressives are rigid in their ideology, to be sure, but this rigidity does not extend to their support for leaders. (snip) Hillary Clinton -- ay, there´s the rub.
We know that President Obama is desperate because he has lost the trust of the American people. A majority, according to some polls, believe he deliberately lied about keeping your insurance and doctor. Once the majority doubt his word, all sorts of other ugly questions start getting raised about other claims he has made - about himself, about the country, about the GOP, really, about everything that has come out of his mouth. When in crisis, the habitual trump card of race gets played. And who better to play it than Oprah Winfrey, who is loved and trusted, especially by the
The main reason I left the insurance industry years ago was the fatigue of marketing a product that is misunderstood by the vast majority of its customer base, not to mention the majority of functionaries inside the industry. (snip)we all now live in a country where the industry is being seized by a president who remains totally oblivious to its realities. Yet he insists on occupying the position as grand poobah CEO of all of it, and ruling by edict. And his epic "fix" can be translated this way: If you like your coverage, you can rent it. Maybe. There are so
Ezekiel Emanuel, ObamaCare architect, Ph.D, bioethicist, Harvard M.D., a brilliant man who displays his intelligence by continuing to defend ObamaCare. He is the president´s top healthcare adviser. He is famous for promoting the idea that medical resources should be primarily directed in support of adolescents and young adults. The elderly and infants should take a back seat, especially if medical resources become scarce. Many have accused Ezekiel of advocating a ´bioethical´ stance that would allow the very old and the very young to die, untreated
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said on a conference call organized by Karl Rove’s Crossroads organization for large donors and their advisers on Oct. 30 that the Tea Party movement, in his view, is a “nothing but a bunch of bullies” that he plans to “punch … in the nose.” On the call, according to a donor who was on it, McConnell personally named Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) as Tea Party conservatives he views as problematic for him. “The bulk of it was an attack on the Tea Party in general, Cruz in particular,” the source, a
Fraud can be so brazen it takes people’s breath away. But for a prosecutor tasked with proving a swindle — or what federal law describes as a “scheme to defraud” — the crucial thing is not so much the fraud. It is the scheme. To be sure, it is the fraud — the individual false statements, sneaky omissions, and deceptive practices — that grabs our attention. As I’ve recounted in this space, President Obama repeatedly and emphatically vowed, “If you like your health-insurance plan, you can keep your health-insurance plan, period.” The incontrovertible record — disclosures by the Obama administration in
Fear swept through Borough Park, Brooklyn, as soon as the news got out: A young man was randomly assaulted by strangers early Friday morning, and the attack was possibly part of the so-called Knockout Game. Four men were arrested, but on Friday night only one was charged and the others were released. The attack added to a growing log of reports of such crimes in the Northeast and beyond. Young assailants were randomly picking unlucky targets and trying to knock them out with just one punch. Yet police officials in several cities where such attacks have been reported said that the “game” amounted
Joining the hosts of MSNBC’s The Cycle on Friday, legendary NBC News anchor Tom Brokaw previewed a special on the 50th anniversary of John F. Kennedy’s assassination that will air on MSNBC that night. Recounting his experiences from that day, he said that the reaction to JFK’s assassination, “mostly in conservative states,” was encapsulated by his interaction with one man who expressed satisfaction over the president’s killing. “This was unusual but it was not unheard of,” Brokaw told the MSNBC hosts, prefacing a conservative’s reaction to JFK’s killing. “As I came running out of the announce booth, the chief engineer,
If voters had been aware last year that they might lose their health-care plans when Obamacare went into effect, Republican President Mitt Romney would be sitting in the White House today, according to a poll released Friday. A Wilson Perkins Allen Opinion Research survey conducted from Nov. 18-20 asked voters who supported President Barack Obama in 2012: “As you may know, millions of Americans have lost their insurance plans despite President Obama’s promise that, quote, ‘if you like your plan, you can keep it.’ If you knew in 2012 that this promise was not true, would you still have voted
Let the word go forth from this time and place, to friend and foe alike, that the torch has been passed to a new generation of Americans”- President John F. Kennedy. There is no family in American politics who is quite on par with the Kennedy’s. Fifty years after the assassination of JFK, the family’s presence in American politics has dwindled–they’ve experienced many ups and downs– but they’ve carried on. Each generation seems to pass on the proverbial torch, and America’s interest in the Kennedy clan, whether they’re running for office or battling public relations snafus, has continued with that passing.
Let me be the first to ask: Did the White House know that employment reports were being falsified? Last week I reported exclusively that someone at the Census Bureau’s Philadelphia region had been screwing around with employment data. And that person, after he was caught in 2010, claimed he was told to do so by a supervisor two levels up the chain of command. On top of that, a reliable source whom I haven’t identified said the falsification of employment data by Census was widespread and ongoing, especially around the time of the 2012 election. There’s now a congressional investigation
President Obama said Friday he does not worry much about his safety because of the “outstanding” Secret Service detail that shadows him everywhere he goes. Obama said the assassination of former President John F. Kennedy 50 years ago transformed the presidential security detail to a point where he hardly thinks about safety. "It´s not something I think about, mainly because we have a Secret Service that does an outstanding job every single day," Obama told ABC News in an interview set to air next week. For example, the open-air car Kennedy was riding in while shot in Dallas in 1963
Ahmad Rashad, a Pro Bowl wide receiver, has made yet another great catch. The Minnesota Vikings legend has rebounded from his broken marriage to Sale Johnson — the ex-wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson — and is said to be dating Valerie Jarrett, President Obama’s most trusted senior adviser. Rashad, a sportscaster and a close friend of Michael Jordan’s, is keeping the romance on the down low. “They haven’t gone out in public,” one source told me. “They are sneaking around.” (Rashad’s manager did not respond to questions about the relationship, and the White House declined to comment on Jarrett’s personal life.) Rashad, who
Mike Convente, a left-wing Daily Kos diarist and a representative on the University of Pennsylvania health care committee, took to the pages of Kos to complain about the "law of unintended consequences" of ObamaCare. Convente is also upset that Obama´s "marketing slogans … turned out to be not so correct." It looks as though the students at UPenn will be paying a lot more for their health insurance policies, thanks in large part to the fact that ObamaCare is forcing them to pay for coverage they do not need. Not only that, Convente is probably not buying the propaganda from
When Lyndon B. Johnson became president, he brought with him a new first lady. Lady Bird Johnson’s passion was beautification. It was dismissed by some as a silly project, just planting daffodils by the side of the road. But it was more. Lady Bird was one of the first environmentalists, one with access to the legislative resources of the powerful Johnson White House. She gathered experts and brought the issue of conservation to the nation’s attention. Her work led to the passage of 50 bills protecting national parks and removing billboards and junkyards from the highways. Her work was more
“For the first time in nearly a decade we have halted parts of Iran’s nuclear program” announced a jubilant Barack Obama after the news of the just-signed Geneva six-month interim agreement with Iran. But the American goal for the accord was that the Iranians not “advance their program” of building a uranium nuclear bomb (and perhaps a plutonium bomb too); the apparent deal exactly permits such advancement, plus sanctions relief to Tehran worth about $9 billion. This wretched deal offers one of those rare occasions when comparison with Neville Chamberlain in Munich in 1938 is valid. An overeager Western government, blind to
