Former Bush Press Secretary Dana Perino continued the weekend’s primary conservative argument on This Week with George Stephanopoulos, when she asked why President Barack Obama chose the Trayvon Martin shooting as a subject for a national address (albeit an impromptu one) but not any other crimes—specifically, the March shooting of a toddler in Stone Mountain, Georgia during a robbery attempt by two black teens. “When a president speaks, it’s to multiple audiences,” Perino said. “So from the prism of self-defense, when you think of a young mother whose two year old son was shot in the face by
I´m thinking it was actually 3 black teens who were bumming cigarettes of the woman and she insulted them by telling them to get a job.
Then the imbeciles went home and posted all about the shoooting on Facebook along with posing with the gun.
But beyond the baby getting killed which is bad enough, think about the mentality of people who would openly brag about shooting a baby and being a hero to other hoodsters. This is how you rack points up with these people.
The poor mom in this case should sue that Shabazz character for calling on the killing of cracka babies.
We don´t have to call for the killing off black babies, planned parenthood is taking care of that.
This particular horrific incident occurred in Brunswick, GA,´way way back´ in March so according to Carney "that was a long time ago" and Hilliery, "What difference, at this point, does it make." If you look at the mug shot of the 17-year old ´child´ perp, he too could be Obama´s son.
Best be careful about this one, Dana--read the attached link regarding parents http://www.theglobaldispatch.com/georgia-murder-of-baby-complicated-by-evidence-of-gun-powder-residue-on-hands-of-both-parents-50212/
A caller to SeeSpam brought this up yesterday and the hostess of Washington Urinal and was challenged on the story. The caller had all the facts and slapped her right back and they had to admit a few minutes later that it was true. But then, they´re so busy booking Washington Post writers and other Progressive guests that they don´t have to time for real news.
#12 -- I see your point, but regardless, the President didn´t let facts get in the way of making comments about the Trayvon Martin case.
A finer point would be, where is President Obama´s speech on the fact that black life matters and it matters when that life is taken by another black person, which is what happens 93% of the time a black person is murdered. Where is his speech about black on black crime -- and the fact that children are most likely to get caught in the crossfire and maimed or killed.

The article further quotes Van Jones discussing the Marissa Alexander Case where stand your ground did not apply. Mr. Jones fails to note that Ms. Alexander !) Left the scene to @) return with a gun and then. Fire a warning shot. By leaving she complied with the leftist standard of running away, in returning she was aggrevaating the situation, .
But firing a warning shot is considered brandishing a weapon. The law interpreets brandishing as an attempt at intimidation with a threat of violence. And that act transforms Ms Alexander forms victim acting in defense to perpetrator committing an act.
Obama is a Divider NOT a Uniter! I supported Equal Rights, still do but Obama has set race relations all the way back to the early fifties. Although where I lived we could walk through an all black neighborhood getting only a few stares. The black kids could do the same through mine. To quote my Father a man of his time, That is one thing you have to give the Negroes they have stron, good families!
Or how about the black woman who kidnapped a 12 year old white boy who was home alone on Christmas eve afternoon in Houston in his mother´s apartment (while she and her roommate were working), taken and tortured and set on fire with a welding torch and killed.
That didn´t get much play, either.
If we´re gonna talk about white (or white Hispanic) on black "crime" (or self-defense), let´s talk both sides of the table.
And then, there is the rape and murder of the couple Channon Christian and Hugh Christopher Newsom, Jr., by 4 black men and one black woman. Did you hear about that? Did Obama ever comment on that? Jesse? Al not so Sharpton?
If 93% of all black murders are committed by black males who are only 6.5% of the population (which leaves out the murders of white people murdered by black males) then the remaining 93.5% of the non-black population of potential killers are effectively being squeezed out of the market. (so to speak)
One, Marissa Alexander did NOT stand her ground. She left the scene and returned with a gun.
Two, the prosecutor was also the utterly lacking in common sense Angela Corey.
Three, the judge´s hands were tied by Florida´s mandatory sentencing laws, which left no option except major jail time for a woman who had been battered by her husband-and left their young children in his custody. Note that the jury is not told about the mandatory 20 and 30 year sentences that will be imposed in these cases.
Four, Google Ronald Thompson for another Angela Corey/mandatory sentence nightmare. Note that the race baiters aren´t interested because Thompson is white. What the news accounts don´t tell us is the race of the women he was trying to protect from 4 teenage boys.
#21 -- YES, the Marisa Alexander case is just another example of Angela Corey OVERCHARGING for a crime. That Rep. Corrine Brown (and her dazzling intellect) can´t make the connection is quite remarkable. Also, supposedly, Corey offer Alexander a plea deal that would only have her serving 3 years in jail...of course, Alexander didn´t want to serve any jail time (and I can´t say that I blame her). Corey should´ve come up with a probationary offer that left her with a blemish on her record and 3 years probation or something of that nature. Unfortunately, Corey doesn´t care about anyone but Corey and she didn´t care that this woman also had children to raise. She´s just a terrible prosecutor.
#17 - Beyond horrible! These people are demons from hell.
Something is mentally wrong with Obama - and not sure which side of himself he hates more, his black side or white side. Maybe he´s angry that he looks black. But either way he encourages racial hatred - the opposite of what many voters had hoped.
The infant that was shot in the face, murdered by the black teens because
“He asked me for money and I said I didn’t have it. When you have a baby, you spend all your money on babies. They’re expensive. And he kept asking and I just said ‘I don’t have it.’ And he said, ‘Do you want me to kill your baby?’ And I said, ‘No, don’t kill my baby",
Wonder why Obama did not mention that one of these boys could very well be his son.
If memory serves I recall reading something about another foreigner(s) who schemed to turn domestic types against the rest in order to win the war. That was WWII and it was regarding Native American Indians but it didn´t work. Obama just changed up the players but the motives are the same and it won´t work this time either. That fool Bamboozler is so stuck on turmoil, conflict, radicalism he thinks shaking the snow globe will result in the flakes all falling down in his favor. WRONG. His tactics are failing more and more bc the lofos are slowly catching on to him. Respect is like virginity, one only loses it once.
Number two don´t forget she´s also fine as frog hair. She´s the only 3 reasons why I watch The Five. Her, Kimberly Guilfoyle and Andrea Tantaros make that show bearable. Our Race Baiter-in-Chief could have used the Trayvon verdict to have his "Sista Souljah" moment but as usual he chose the different route. I´ve said it before and I´ll say it again. This president is a disgrace of EPIC proportions. Instead of uniting the country he is being and continues to be (in his words) derisive and dismissive to race relations in this country. Dana just proves this point again to the idiot LOFOS out their who get their "news" from the lamestream media.
He needs a very SIMPLE narrative and very short words for his script so that talking heads, rappers and Hollywood types can follow along, making the appearance of a bunch of support which does not really exist (see Trayvon Martin)
All of you young Ldotters. Your future, the country´s future will be affected by these murdering gangsta thugs. They are the future generation. They will be in charge. I can´t imagine (maybe I can) what life will be like in this country 20-30 years from now. The gangsta thugs have no remorse, no respect for life. Killing a human being to them is like smashing a fly. And how about this. Most of the black on black murders are drug related. The victim needed a little extra cash and gets mixed up with evil gangsta thugs. Now he´s dead. What happened to having a job that pays money? Selling drugs is the only way to make a living? It makes me sick and afraid that future generations will live under such conditions. Shooting a 2 year old baby in the face? Killing the child? What have we come to be? Trayvon had problems with the law. What could have prevented him from getting killed? I can think of a hundred ways but don´t have time or space. We have got to get the violence undercontrol...stopped. I pray our children learn to love each other regardless of race. I pray that they learn to respect each other and regard each other as children of God.
Beckel uses the excuse that the black on black murders in chicago is because of drug crimes. Why does that excuse murder? Murder is murder regardles of Beckel lunatic leftwin reasoning. If it wasn´t drugs they wouldn´t be killing each other. What would they do with their useless lives? At least murder culls the herd. Dana is the only one who is truly forceful with Beckel. She stands her ground against the lying a..hole. Bolling and Gutfeld take shots but they are always followed with a slap on Beckel´s back, or Gutfeld´s lame laugh. I still don´t understand why Bolling saved Beckel from chocking to death.
Let us not be too harsh on our black & white president. After all, he came from a VERY dysfunctional family. Read his (auto)biography sometime, Dreams From My "Father"(?). If the bloke in Kenya was indeed his Baby Daddy, he ain´t nothing to have pleasant dreams about. FMD even less so. Then there is his Mom. She is a real piece of work.
1. A parallel point: OK, anti-death penalty absolutists, convince us there´s reason the perps should live. No, you may not cite the cost of appeals, etc. That´s a problem created by a corrupt, mush-brained, lawyer-teat legal system, not by having the death penalty. Nor the possibility of getting the wrong person. Also a different matter from the DP itself.
2. IIRC, the baby was indeed a baby, 13 months, not 2 years old.
3. More on the case: "Brunswick City Commissioner and Mayor Pro Tem James T. Brooks was arrested on March 28, 2013 on charges of wilfull obstruction of law enforcement and influence of witness in connection to the death of a [the baby]." [Yes, Brooks "could be Obama´s" uncle."] "Brooks was also charged with racketeering Thursday in an unrelated case stemming from accusations that he accepted money in return for applicants getting police jobs, licenses and permits in Camden County." "Elkins was indicted... for the boy´s murder. Elkins´ mother, Karimah Elkins, 36, and aunt, Katrina Elkins, 33, were arrested... for allegedly making false statements to police. Elkins´ mother was arrested again...[the next day] along with Elkins´ sister, Sabrina Elkins, 19, and charged with tampering with evidence." Looks like Mom and Sis helped by ditching the murder weapon in a pond. From a 3/29/2013 article.
I hope History records the sad, sad fact that this pitiful, deplorable excuse for a pResident failed the nation in the primary objective of Those (not me) The People who elected him, for: Evidence that we are a united People, proud of our heritage as ultimately all immigrants ( not illegals now), whether forcibly from Africa, or forced otherwise by poverty, pestilence, and hunger (Ireland). The scam in the WH should be reviled for all that he is, and even more so for all that he isn´t.
It´s a rare moment when she has fortitude -- just recently when the story broke about the Justice Dept. funding of the Trayvon agitation, she was on "the Five" shrugging it off, commenting "it wasn´t much money anyway".
All of the black on white crime sounds like what the Mau Maus were doing in Kenya during the 50´s. no wonder he keeps his mouth shut. Read Robert Rouarks " Something of Value" a novel set in Kenya during those times.
Obama is a shallow and uninformed person; what little he does know is anti-American. If Ms. Jeantel is correct, Trayvon viciously attacked Zimmerman because Trayvon thought he was a gay man intent on raping him, or following him to his home and raping his little brother. Thus Trayvon is up for hate crime prosecution. And the way Obama and his DOJ think, there is no problem in prosecuting a dead person because "homophobia" and hate crimes trump death.
America needs to get up to speed statistically regarding Chicago´s murder rate. I heard Bob Beckel state with absolute certainly that the murders going on in Mayor Rahm´s realm aren´t mostly black-on-black. He said they´re the result of a massive drug/turf war between Hispanics and blacks.
So there you are. With one short statement the statistical murder rate by blacks is instantly cut in half and the blame shifted to Hispanics.
This is the same obama that voted FOR a Stand Your Ground Law in Illinois on one of the few occasions when he showed up in the Illinois Senate and actually voted other than "present". This is the same obama who sent his friend and minister who married him to the basement of the Old State Capital when announcing his run for president. Must be something politically calculated here, do ya think?
#42 Noticed the same thing. I´m a little sick of her selective outrage. When it has to do with staunch conservatism, she rarely adds her voice to the mix. I´ve heard her derride some of Mark Levins´ positions and it has me turn off the program. Don´t watch it nearly as often as when it premiered, I´m glad for her position on Zimmerman though.
This could be Obama s son... a very savage killing of two shop clerks..their throats slit ear to ear. http://www.sfgate.com/default/article/DA-Price-dispute-sparks-SF-jewelry-store-killings-4670082.php.
#42 - I think she was being sarcastic, as obviously she would not approve or condone federal funding of the protests. Seems like we´re being increasingly thwacked with increasingly outrageous items from this administration every day. How can one not get a bit of outrage fatigue?? I myself am becoming a bit benumbed in response to so many body blows - and pessimistic, not that I will give up.
Moreover, even if she seems too moderate for many - that affords her enough credibility to be allowed a national platform in which to say things like this to the millions who otherwise would not have this point brought home to them.
Black thugs killing other black thugs or innocent black neighbors, is not going to drum up the PC dreaded racism factor. White guy, even though he´s "white" latino, now there´s good commie agitation, milk the Sharpton destructive black ticket. These provoking agitators are making money for themselves out of thin air, faned by the thrill seking Diane Sawyer, who have nothing else better to news "act". Most working respectable blacks get along with most working respectable whites. No big deal This is the greatest country yet, even as democrat commies destroy city after city, and they´re working on destoying the entire economy, too. Racism is used as a war drum by unfriendly native witch doctors like Al Sharpton, Jesse the Con Jackson, Diane Alarmist Sawyer and most of TV´s news actors
As an unrelenting wintry storm threatens to choke the Mid-Atlantic into Sunday evening, intrepid NFL players duked it out in Philadelphia amid white-out conditions. The potent system battered the South and Midwest in recent days and now, as it creeps East, it has the Eagles and visiting Detroit Lions both battling major snow. While the blizzard has professional athletes struggling to stay ahead of the weather, a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow is delivering a sloppy smorgasbord from the Mid-Atlantic through southeastern Pennsylvania and northern New Jersey.
The two drugs have been declared equivalently miraculous. Tested side by side in six major trials, both prevent blindness in a common old-age affliction. Biologically, they are cousins. They’re even made by the same company. But one holds a clear price advantage. Avastin costs about $50 per injection. Lucentis costs about $2,000 per injection. Doctors choose the more expensive drug more than half a million times every year, a choice that costs the Medicare program, the largest single customer, an extra $1 billion or more annually. Spending that much may make little sense for a country burdened by ever- rising health
LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif.— An Olympic gold medal won by Jesse Owens at the 1936 Berlin Games has sold for a record $1.4 million in an online auction. SCP Auctions said Pittsburgh Penguins co-owner Ron Burkle paid $1,466,574, the highest price for a piece of Olympic memorabilia. The online auction ended Sunday. "We just hope that it´s purchased by an institution where the public could have access to it, a museum or something like that," Owens´ daughter, Marlene Owens Rankin of Chicago, told The Associated Press before the sale. The auction house said Burkle, who also owns William Faulkner´s Nobel Prize
The State Department on Friday defended its decision to commission a $1 million sculpture for the American embassy in London just days before the partial government shutdown in October. The department awarded the contract for the granite sculpture to Sean Scully, an Irish-born American artist, as part of its Art in Embassies program, which curates exhibitions for American embassy and consulate facilities. "Like much of the art purchased by this program, this piece was purchased under the market price after considerable negotiation with both the artist and the gallery. This is an important part of our diplomatic presence overseas," spokeswoman
Anti-government protesters in the Ukrainian capital of Kiev have toppled a statue of Bolshevik leader Vladimir Lenin. Instagram user Arthur_potachik : (Video) NPR´s Corey Flintoff, who is in Kiev, told our Newscast unit earlier today that opposition groups in the country are calling for a million people to rally against government plans to forge stronger ties with Russia. "Thousands of protestors have been camping out here in Kiev´s central square, but organizers are calling on people from around the country to join them," Corey said. "The protest started as a response to President Viktor Yanukovych´s decision to reject a trade
(Video) With the passing of Nelson Mandela, the world has lost one of its greatest leaders. When Time magazine compiled its list of the 100 most influential people of the 20th century in the late 1990s, Mandela was one of just 20 in the category of most influential leaders and revolutionaries, along with our own civil rights leader, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Among others on the list: Presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan, British Prime Ministers Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher, Pope John Paul II, and Israel´s first Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion. And, in a nod to evil´s influence,
Media Buzz host Howard Kurtz brought all of his sports metaphors to a segment about Hardball host Chris Matthews’ recent interview with President Barack Obama, arguing that the sympathetic interview may have played to the MSNBC base but did little to advance Obama’s point of view. “I expected Chris Matthews to deliver a sympathetic friendly interview with President Obama,” Kurtz said. “But I wouldn’t even say he was pitching softballs—I’d describe it as whiffle ball…This is a guy who loves to interrupt his guests, right? He let the president go on and on.” “I would have thought, just to cover
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) on Sunday said that the life of a national politician can be an “ordeal” and the impact of uncivil treatment on his family could nix any 2016 presidential run. “It really is an ordeal to be part of public life...I also hate it when family is attacked and they get into the news,” he said on "Fox News Sunday." Paul said that some weeks, “the haters and the hacks go after” him and other weeks he has a more positive view. The Kentucky senator said he and his family would take about a year to decide
Really Big Coloring Books, Inc. has released a comic book-style coloring book starring Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. “Ted Cruz to the Future™ — Comic Coloring Activity Book” is a “non-partisan, fact-driven view of how Texas Sen. Rafael Edward ‘Ted’ Cruz became a U.S. senator and details, through his quotes and public information his ideas for what he believes will help America grow,” according to the description. Cruz’s inspiring story as the child of immigrants, Texas solicitor general, and finally, prominent junior senator, is playfully, yet accurately portrayed in a series of outlined pictures begging to be defaced by deft crayonists.
During Friday´s White House briefing, Jonathan Karl of ABC News and Peter Alexander of NBC News both pressed White House spokesman Jay Carney on a Government Accountability Institute (GAI) report that found President Obama and Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius had met only once during the three and half years after the passage of ObamaCare. (Video) After Alexander asked about the GAI report, Carney bizarrely suggested that Alexander should have called him to ask the question. Apparently, Carney would have preferred not to have to answer the question on camera -- and for good
In his attempt to downplay the IRS scandal during his soft-ball interview with Chris Matthews, Thursday, the President of the United States subverted the ongoing DOJ investigation of the scandal. Obama declared that the IRS office in Cincinnati was merely trying to "streamline the system" for “bureaucratic reasons” and that agents weren’t intentionally singling out “Tea Party folks.” Via White House Dossier: "If on the other hand, you’ve got an office in Cincinnati in the IRS office that I think for bureaucratic reasons is trying to streamline what a difficult law to interpret about whether non-profit is actually a political
A congressional delegation is expected to go to Nelson Mandela’s memorial services in South Africa and is scheduled leave Sunday, Fox News learned Saturday. It is unclear who House Speaker John Boehner is sending, but members of the Congressional Black Caucus are expected to be on the trip. President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama also will travel to South Africa next week to honor Mandela, the White House said Friday. Former President George W. Bush, as well as Laura Bush, plan to travel with the Obamas on Air Force One to the services, a spokesman confirmed.
More young men in California rise in pitch at the end of their sentences when talking, new research shows. This process is known as "uptalk" or "valleygirl speak" and has in the past been associated with young females, typically from California or Australia. But now a team says that this way of speaking is becoming more frequent among men.The findings were presented at the Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America in California. "We found use of uptalk in all of our speakers, despite their diverse backgrounds in socioeconomic status, ethnicity, bilingualism and gender," said Amanda Ritchart, a linguist at the University of
The question all week long was this: Who are you going to believe, an illegal alien or the president of the United States of America? Obviously, if it’s a president who once went by an alias, Barry Soetoro, you go with Uncle Omar, 100 percent, no questions asked. And so it was that the White House finally admitted to another, uh, misstatement — despite previous denials, Barack/Barry did sleep on his beloved Uncle Omar’s couch in Cambridge when he first moved here to attend Harvard Law School (speaking of which, we’re still waiting to see the president’s grades and his LSAT scores). But the
DAVID CORN: I saw a president who remains frustrated with the political-media culture that he has to work within, and that he´s looking to rally people, students here, and supporters, and people within the media. CHRIS MATTHEWS: But David Corn, you skeptic. He came to us today. He came amongst us. CORN: He´s trying to rally people behind this vision that he´s been promoting for a couple years. FINEMAN: By the way, he did it the end here, today, Chris, not by defending specifics, but by explaining why he´s in the game to begin with. And I don´t know about you, he´s
How do you get your arms around the catastrophe known as Obamacare? Is it even possible? At this point, I’m not sure it is. The list of individual disasters which threaten to ruin one-sixth of the U.S. economy and what has been, up until now, the best healthcare system in the world is exhaustive, and exhausting. The examples I will identify here barely scratch the surface. First but by no means foremost, we have the supposedly new and improved HealthCare.gov. Except it’s not, even the visible part. Stories still abound of people still failing to get in or to get through the enrollment
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new five-year strategic plan to improve safety for elderly drivers and passengers. Although they are statistically among the safest on the road, the number of older drivers is increasing dramatically — and with it, that group´s numbers of injuries and deaths. Since 2003, the population of older adults, defined as age 65 and older, has increased by 20% and the number of licensed older drivers increased by 21% to 35 million in 2012, according to NHTSA. Last year, NHTSA reported that 5,560 people older than 65 died and 214,000 were injured
The most curious thing of all about the November jobs report released on Friday was the huge drop in the unemployment rate — and the fact that the Labor Department chose not to disclose that the data going into that figure are under investigation for falsification. On Nov. 19, I broke the news in my column that the Census Bureau, which collects data that goes into the jobless rate on behalf of Labor, had caught one of its enumerators fabricating interviews in 2010. The culprit said back then (and to me during an interview) that he was told to do so by
Denver - A baker who refused to make a wedding cake for a same-sex ceremony must serve gay couples despite his religious beliefs or face fines, a judge said Friday. The order from administrative law judge Robert N. Spencer said Masterpiece Cakeshop in suburban Denver discriminated against a couple "because of their sexual orientation by refusing to sell them a wedding cake for their same-sex marriage." The order says the cake-maker must "cease and desist from discriminating" against gay couples. Although the judge did not impose fines in this case, the business will face penalties if it continues to turn away gay

Former President Bill Clinton shared an anecdote regarding Nelson Mandela and the aftermath of his impeachment Friday on CNN. Clinton revealed shortly after the “impeachment business” finished on Capitol Hill, Rep. Henry Hyde (R., Ill.) who managed the impeachment trial requested a meeting at the White House. The former president granted the meeting out of lessons of humility and forgiveness he learned from Mandela, he said: BILL CLINTON: I remember one day, oh, about a month after the whole impeachment business was over, Henry Hyde, who had run the whole show, unbelievably enough, maybe a few months after, it was
One definition of a pathological liar is someone who lies where the truth would serve just as well. When President Obama’s uncle, Onyango Obama, was arrested in 2011 for drunk driving, the truth — that Obama had stayed with his uncle years earlier for several weeks as a Harvard law student — would have served the president just fine. No potential Obama voter would have held it against him that an uncle he had stayed with two decades earlier was picked up for DUI. Yet the White House went with a lie, claiming that Obama had never met his uncle. Now that
Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: that the Syrian army is not the only party in the country’s civil war with access to sarin, the nerve agent that a UN study concluded – without assessing responsibility – had been used in the rocket attack. In the months before the attack,
Although the jobless rate in November fell to its lowest level since he took office, President Obama called on Republican lawmakers Saturday to spend tens of billions on unemployment benefits that are set to expire this month. “It shouldn’t be a partisan issue,” Mr. Obama said in his weekly address. But he said the “economic lifeline” is in jeopardy. “All because Republicans in this Congress — which is on track to be the most unproductive in history — have so far refused to extend it” Mr. Obama said. If Congress doesn’t act before lawmakers leave on their holiday break, about
