Trayvon Rallies Feature
the Usual Suspects

Power Line, by John Hinderaker

Original Article

My sense is that the “Justice for Trayvon” rallies that were held in various cities today didn’t amount to much. One basic question is, did they even have much to do with Trayvon Martin? The answer to that question is suggested by this flyer that was handed out at the rally in New York:(Snip for graphic)This is exactly the same stupidity we have seen over and over from the left. Boycott oranges! Why? They grow in Florida! Boycott Coca-Cola! Why? Because they buy oranges! Boycott the Koch brothers–of course–because they “help fund piggermans defense.” Which is a complete fiction,

I think the real goal of these simpletons was simply to reinforce white guilt for future purposes.I don´t even want to think about the disaster if the left takes the House back next year. This is why they´re baiting republicans on immigration so their base stays home.

There´s some cowardly republicans in the House using Limbaugh and talk radio as a scapegoat for being against immigration.

Just a guess, but I´ll wager that a few simple man-on-the-street interviews would have "demonstrated" that these justice rally-ers could not answer even the simplest questions about the Zimmerman case, OR Trayvon Martin himself. Because that´s not why they´re there. They´re using Martin just like the media and the government have: for their OWN ends. Pathetic and sad.

I guess the author of that flyer is just about as literate as Rachel Jeantal and has no idea when to use capital letters, except to shout. It figures.

Think I´ll go buy some oranges after mass this morning.

The 100 city Trayvon rallies were hilarious!
They gave a rally and no one showed up! A few hundred here and a few hundred there. Even Beyonce couldn´t get 1000 people in New York City. That is pathetic. Why are our media idiots reporting these non-events? {Rhetorical question}

Meanwhile 70 million people went to work Friday, millions of others stayed home to care for unaborted kids, millions went to church Sunday, while hundreds of uneducated people on the dole demonstrated against someone who was actually supporting himself.

If they could read and weren´t stoned, they would know that Zimmerman was tried by a jury and found not guilty. The sad part of this saga is that this White House and Administration are full of criminals, including the First Criminal himself.

This country is on the road to being another Detroit.

John Hinderaker is annoying when he asks,
"but if you are a liberal, the facts are optional". Liberal means freedom, and the numbed out wonderful but non thinking old timers, like Ann Coulter, O´Reilly and dear Rush, continue to call Communist agitators the lovely name of "liberal".
Remember? Ayn Rand, Hayek, Von Mises and
Rothbard and Friedman ..... ALL liberals, classic liberals like our Founding Fathers.
So, wake up, stop using the Marxist´s clever
theft of this great word, and START calling these destroyers their real socialist names.

Regarding these small time OCCUPY events: they are contrived, and any time all the people carry the same stupid, pre printed sign, you KNOW nobody´s thinking enough to write their own signs. Bunch of dummies.

As Breitbart cleverly phrased it in the OCCUPY sit ins, watch out for the tough looking instigators. Andrew called them
"The Minders".

Sorry, friend, but words have a way of picking up new meanings over time--definitions change. Try reading some Shakespeare or the 1611 edition of the King James Bible.

"Liberal" means leftist, Marxist, socialist, and associated "ists", and has for a very long time.

Disregard #10´s crusade. He tried the same line of faux logic on several threads yesterday. The one libtard lawyer in my group does the same thing endlessly trying to reinvent the word liberal.

#10 - All that and they take advantage of nostalgia. Maybe that´s not quite the right word, but like aging hippies wanting to re-live the 60s on Yasgur´s farm and kid followers who just want to be a part of another Woodstock, these people trying to re-kindle a new Civil Rights movement by fabricating a cause while sucking in the dummies to blindly follow!
Let´s demonstrate and march like the old days.
Why?
Because.............Trayvon....yeah that´s the ticket!
Good enough for me!
What they wind up proving in the end is that unity, equality and co-existance was never really part of the equation. They thrive on racial division. If there is none, they´re outta bidness!

#´s 10&13 - Ayn Rand was born in Russia and lived through the Bolshevik revolution during Russia´s conversion to communism. In her book, Atlas Shrugged, Ayn Rand refers to liberals, not as communists or as Marxists or even as liberals - just as "looters". In the end, that is what they are. Follow the money. Their philosophy is a mile wide and an inch deep. All they want is your money. Period.

#10 reflects what I´ve been posting for years. A "liberal" is someone who believes in liberty - - in individual freedom - - and that´s US, folks - - we´re the liberals.

I cringe when fellow right-wingers use "liberal" to describe left-wingers. There´s nothing "liberal" about leftists!

Use the proper term - - leftist - - to describe lefties. It´s pretty simple.

And now - - back tot the Trayvon rallies - - which attracted "tens" of protestors!!!!!!

#10 should add this group loves to pervert the language. In America it began as a bipartisan reform movement that labelled itself progressive. When they had discredited that label they started to call themselves liberals. When excesses in the 60s and 70s made liberal a pejorative, they figured those who remembered the excesses of the progressive movement decades earlier were mostly dead, so they returned to calling themselves progressives.

This was not about Trayvon. It was about them. They "believe" (or are told by no less than our President) that they are still being persecuted in 2013 America. If only white America would just agree. I have an idea. Maybe as a sign of atonement white Americans should all watch the movie "Black Like Me" once again so they´ll all get it.

What black Americans should do is celebrate being an "American" in 2013 America. An America where black news and culture seemingly dominates every aspect of life. Stop looking at grainy black and white photographs and listening to old gold tooth fools like Sharpton.

#10 Brietbart is right. In the sixties I was in a NG riot unit. First thing you learn in any riot situation is single out the loud mouth leader and take them out. The rest of the followers will lose interest and wish not to risk injury for the cause. We did this at Southern University in Louisiana in the early seventies. It works. When the leader with the bull horn was arrested the crowd calmed down.
The Chicago Seven comes to mind.

#10, #12 ~ nothing wrong with Taking Back The Language.

For example, there was this fascinating Chicom expression that translated out as: "KIll the Fascists and Their Runningdog Lackeys"

That one had art ~ it was melodic and boy did it get across exactly what you wanted in few words.

As the Chicoms began modernizing so as not to appear like a bunch of tom fools even in their own eyes their use of that term began to wane and you almost never heard their friends in the US using it.

SO I BEGAN USING IT

Following the leftwingtard standard you first identify who is a Fascist. For example, Dick Durbin ~ he´s quite obviously a Fascist Pig. You label him.

Then at later time of your choice you haul out the old Chicom warhorse phrase, and people know what you mean.

And you´ve taken that away from the Leftwingtards.

As I left the National Gallery of Art yesterday around 12:30pm, I drove past the ´´gathering´´ a couple blocks down the road. I doubt there were 200 people there, and the number may have been half that. I didn´t bother to slow down or try to take a picture, but in a city the size of DC, I would have expected many more at the protest.

The word "liberal" will never mean what it used to mean. It PO´s the Left so much because we´ve caught on to them. They hate the word liberal and what it now means so they had to find another one. Progressive. Yeah, right. To shorten up comprehension it means progressing towards Communism. They keep trying, but we keep catching them in their Lefty ways. So to anyone that keeps trying to fool you into believing that Liberal has anything to do with Liberty. Buzz Off!

That the rallies didn´t amount to much tells me that it is but a small percentage of the 13 percent of Americans who are black that seem to have the perpetual racial bone to pick. Thank goodness. That aligns with my overall experiences with black people in general, which is and has been very positive.

That the Sharpton brigade is succored by a large number of progressives who happen to be white is a whole other story, or maybe it is the story.

Yesterday´s rally failure was a Fizzlurp in honor of one of Trayvon´s favorite street drugs- Sizzurp.
If the neglectful and absent parents actually wanted to do something useful, they could have started
a movement to discourage Trayvon´s contemporaries from manufacturing
and using Lean / Purple Drank
/Sizzurp.
The boycott of the Black Grievance Industry
( Barry is the BGI CEO , Holder the COO , Sharpton the CFO and Jesse Jackson the CDO- Chief Diversity Officer )
should logically
not stop at Florida,
because Florida is part of the racist United States , which is part of racist North America ,
which is part of the racist world.
The most logical step is for the BGI is to board the spaceships of Louis Farrakhan and Sheila Jackson Lee and find another galaxy to populate.

Folks: what we need here is a little" Connect The Dots" Exercise.
#1; Trayvon was out of his usual element ( His Mother´s Neighborhood.

#2: Trayvon was not in school. He was on his THIRD Suspension from High School. These days to be kicked out of a High School means that a kid has been labeled, Incorrigible/ By School Authorities. [He was a pain in their arse, and they had no hope of changing his behavior.]
#3: Most likely, He would not obey his Mother, so she sent him to his Daddy to be disciplined and quit causing her problems around her house.
#4: What better time "To Case a new area" than when it is raining and no one is likely to be out or looking out. His problem was Mr. Zuimmerman who was a Neighborhood Watchman..He would notice a ´new´ person acting suspiciously.
#5: Lots of individuals who do drugs, also injest snacks loaded with sugar to keep their ´high´ going, a little longer.

Remember Stinkey´s enablers ( the Ballet Queen´ who said you should never let a crisis go ´to waste´. This takes the media´s eye off what the Regime is doing in other ways to " Fundamentally, Change this Country."

These race hustlers should be ashamed of themselves. The young generation is being indoctrinated into thinking all whites are against blacks. A four yr old black girl at the camp where my granddaughter was a counselor last week had been acting up. My granddaughter asked her to quite down, to which the little girl replied that she was being picked on by my granddaughter because she was black. When my granddaughter told her that wasn´t true, the girl replied that she hated her and all white people because whites are racist. Who told a four yr old this? Why her parents and the rest of the race hustlers.

Several points:

Many blacks are taught at a very young age not to trust white people and that they are all racisists. Quite similar to the indoctrination that occurs with muslims regarding their hatred toward Jews and Western societies.

These protests and absurd media coverage has zero to with Martin and Zimmerman. It has everything to do with BO and Holder maximizing an outright racial war to deflect any coverage over the IRS, Benghazi, the economy, the debt, the massive withdrawl of the troops in totally unstable countries, the price of goods and services, especially fuel and the sheer and utter incompetence of BO and his administration.

If JJ Jr. and Sharpton don´t threaten boycotts, strikes and protests, they would lose their relevancy as they sure the heck not provide JOBS.

I recall a number of years ago that JJ Jr. started a massive boycott against the State of So. Carolina during a time period of massive convention center/hotel occupancy. Typical argument...that the industry does not hire enough black managers or hire ups.

Conventioners attended their events and all the hotels were full. The hotel managers said it was one of their most robust and safest season ever.

So my advice is please tell the unemployed blacks, hippies and other idiots to boycott everything so whites and every other race can feel safe from thugs and lunatics.

The "boycott meme" is the latest in #liberalfail.

I can´t work anymore. Our lightening-fast electronic culture is insurance against its success.

Conservatives will see a liberal boycott instituted, and they will respond in overwhelming numbers in support of the boycotted firm.

Case in point, Chick-Fil-A. They made more money on the day libs called a boycott than any other day in the history of the company.

So, bring it libs. I´ll use your Koch Brothers Boycott app on my phone to identify their products, and BUY THEM.

Thank you # 10 & 20!! The meaning of the word did not ever truly change. The word was hijacked by the left in order to manipulate and mislead the masses to falsely make them believe they stood for "freedom amd liberty", which couldn´t be further from the truth. And WE, on the right, have helped the left all of these years by continuing to use that word in reference to the leftists, reinforcing that false perception, whether intended or not. We MUST stop referring to leftists as "liberals" and take back the true meaning of the word. We must stop the manipulators, and that cannot be done by using language as they intend it to be used. Leftists are leftists. They are NOT, nor have they ever been "Liberals". We, who uphold the Constitution and the principles of our Founding Fathers are the true liberals, in the classic and true sense of the word.

#54...contrary to your and #20´s post the word Liberal has been destroyed for your intents. Just as the word (foolishly censored) is no longer a cigarette or an English Schoolboy or drudgery, or gay is no longer a happy excited or a merry person.

All three words have been so badly corrupted and will never return to their original meanings.

To me a Liberal and Progressive will always be a Marxist and Socialist Democrat traitor unless they can prove otherwise, which means finding another label or party and demonstrate same.

Check out the Congressional Progressive Caucus. There is approximately 70 of them in the House of Representatives.

The Congressional Black Caucus isn´t much better, more along the lines of Farrakhan, Panthers, Jesse and Al.

In both cases it was LIBERAL Democrat voters who put them in the House. Who will get them out and return our Congress to true Patriotic Americans?

Buffalo, N.Y., Gathers Pussy

To prepare for Dyngus Day, Eddy Dobosiewicz drives to an abandoned lot in east Buffalo, N.Y., in search of an elusive commodity: pussy willows. Dyngus Day celebrations, to be staged Monday in Buffalo and a handful of other U.S. cities, trace their roots to ancient Polish fertility rites centered around the end of Lent and the advent of spring. As part of the festivities, young men traditionally splash water on women they fancy. Women carry pussy willow branches to hit the men they like. But this year, after an especially harsh winter, Dyngus Day organizers are worried that there won´t be enough

Harry Reid isn’t backing down from his claim that rancher Cliven Bundy’s supporters are “domestic terrorists.” It’s astonishing rhetoric given the White House’s characterization of the mass shooting by a genuine terrorist, Major Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 Americans at the Fort Hood Army base after yelling “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great.) Rather than labeling Hasan’s actions “domestic terrorism,” the Obama administration is prosecuting him for having committed “workplace violence.” Democratic rhetoric is become ever more desperate and overheated as we approach the November midterm elections. Last week, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that GOP positions on immigration were motivated by

The Obama administration is poised to change regulations to allow for union “ambush elections” in which workers have less time to decide whether or not to join a union — and in which workers’ phone numbers and home addresses are provided to unions. The administration’s National Labor Relations Board’s (NLRB) proposed rules would allow for union elections — in which workers at a company vote whether or not to unionize — to be held 10 days after a petition is filed. And what, exactly, would be happening to the unions during those 10 days? The new rules require employers to disclose

Following the deadly avalanche that killed at least 13 people, the Discovery Channel has realized that a live jump off the summit of Mount Everest is just a bad, bad plan and has cancelled the special. "In light of the overwhelming tragedy at Mount Everest and out of respect for the families of the fallen, Discovery Channel will not be going forward with Everest Jump Live," the network wrote on its website. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the whole Sherpa community." Joby Ogwyn was to jump off Everest in a wing suit on May 11. On Friday, while the climbers

The Epic Hypocrisy of Tom Steyer

Billionaire hedge fund operator and “green” energy magnate Tom Steyer has pledged $100 million in the 2014 election cycle to help Democratic candidates who oppose the Keystone pipeline and who favor “green” energy over fossil fuels. Steyer claims to be a man of principle who has no financial interest in the causes he supports, but acts only for the public good. That is a ridiculous claim: Steyer is the ultimate rent-seeker who depends on government connections to produce subsidies and mandates that make his “green” energy investments profitable. He also is, or was until recently, a major investor in Kinder

What happens when presidents lie? The American public has had plenty of experience with this in recent years. Liar-president could be the new hyphenate occupation like writer-producer or architect-contractor. Almost every president has shaded things a bit, but three modern ones have been unabashed bull artists — Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton and, of course, Barack Obama. Clinton ultimately got a pass for his prevarications. Nixon didn’t. Neither deserved one. But our current liar-president deserves one even less, because his lies have been of substance, affecting policy. Nixon and Clinton just lied in self-defense — normal human cowardice. Obama is something else again. He

When President Obama trumpeted the 8 million figure representing people who had signed up for ObamaCare, he didn’t just declare it a victory. He declared the debate over — and told Republicans “it’s well time to move on.” Now, we understand the eagerness of politicians to declare debates over. It’s certainly easier than defending ObamaCare’s broken promises, or even providing the breakdowns behind that 8 million top-line number that would let us measure if the program is getting the sign-ups it needs. Increasingly, however, it seems that the “shut up and move on” trope has become the go-to response of liberals on

Under the terms of a recently passed bill, expected to be signed by Governor Mary Fallin, homeowners who install their own private solar or wind turbine energy resources and sell some of the juice back to energy companies will be paying a fee for the privilege. Utility customers who want to install rooftop solar panels or small wind turbines could face extra charges on their bills after legislation passed the Oklahoma House of Representatives on Monday. Over 2 billion people are celebrating Easter today, April 20, as the calendars of Western and Eastern churches coincide this year, and these billions of faithful people are celebrating HOPE. The Easter message begins with the hopeful news that death has been overcome by life, that hatred has been overcome by love, and that sorrow has been overcome by joy. The elements of the story involve women arriving at a garden tomb and finding it empty, but even better, meeting the risen Lord, the embodiment of life and love. Their lives are changed forever and so are the lives of many, many

Chocolatiers love a holiday, be it Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or Easter. The French version of the Easter Bunny is Easter Bells (les cloches de Pâques)—which allegedly fly to Rome for a few days before the holiday to be blessed by the Pope before returning with chocolate eggs for the kids. But you don’t have to hunt very far to find French chocolate and pastry shop windows full of Easter eggs all trying to out-cute, out-class, or simply out-design one another. Good-looking pastries and other sweets are a modestly priced pleasure in France. But like fashion designers, French patissiers and chocolatiers

WHAT ARE the implications for Taiwan of China’s continued rise? Not today. Not next year. No, the real dilemma Taiwan will confront looms in the decades ahead, when China, whose continued economic growth seems likely although not a sure thing, is far more powerful than it is today. Contemporary China does not possess significant military power; its military forces are inferior, and not by a small margin, to those of the United States. Beijing would be making a huge mistake to pick a fight with the American military nowadays. China, in other words, is constrained by the present global balance

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. If the Rev. John DeBonville could preach a sermon to lift the souls of churchgoers across America, his message would be simple: Stop dressing so tacky for church. DeBonville has heard about the “come as you are” approach to dressing down for Sunday service, but he says the Sabbath is getting too sloppy. When he scans the pews of churches, DeBonville sees rows of people dressed in their Sunday worst. They saunter into church in baggy shorts, flip-flop sandals, tennis shoes and grubby T-shirts. Some even slide into the pews carrying coffee in plastic foam containers as if they’re going to Starbucks. “It’s like

President Obama asserts that 8 million people have signed up for Obamacare, as though that were something to be proud of. In fact, Obamacare has always been a fiasco from a fiscal perspective–a black hole of subsidies and expanded Medicaid, with largely fictitious mechanisms in place to pay for it. As the number of subsidized participants grows, the disaster gets worse. Charles Blahous explains: Our national discussion…is missing the truly significant story here; what is unfolding before our eyes is a colossal fiscal disaster, poised to haunt legislators and taxpayers for decades to come. “On the third day, he rose again.” That line, from the Nicene Creed, is a foundational statement of Christian belief. It declares that three days after Jesus died on the cross, he was resurrected, a glimmer of the eternal life promised to believers. It’s the heart of the Easter story in seven little words. But how that statement is interpreted is the source of some of the deepest rifts in Christianity — and a stumbling block for some Christians, and more than a few skeptics. Did Jesus literally come back from the dead in a bodily resurrection, as many traditionalist
