Despite Obama Administration’s Entreaties,
Egyptian Military Deposes Morsi

Despite a series of private and public warnings in the last 48 hours from top Obama administration officials to Egypt’s generals not to depose the country’s first elected leader, the military sprung into action Wednesday and unseated the Muslim Brotherhood aligned president, Mohammed Morsi. The actions from the military lay bare the limited influence the Obama administration has over the leadership of an Egyptian military that gets $1.3 billion a year in aid from the United States and relies on American spare parts and training to function, while also perhaps suggesting that the private warnings delivered from top Obama officials

In Egypt they have the Muslim Brotherhood. In the US, it´s the Marxist Brotherhood aka the Democrat Party. Which is worse?

Pretty humiliating when the Muslim Brutha backed by our very own Muslim Brutha From Anutha Mutha (Obama) is kicked out of office by an uprising of the Egyptian people, backed by their military. Couldn´t happen to a more deserving guy.

Talk about a REAL "Arab Spring" acting to have a real democracy by getting rid of the Democrat-backed thugs. Makes you wish WE had sufficiently motivated patriots and military leaders here to do likewise.

Oh no, it looks like the Caliphate may have hit a road block thrown up by the people of Egypt. Those pesky people didn´t want to be told what to do by a bunch of seventh century barbarians. Oppression has a tendency to tick people off like that. However, I can´t see the Muslim Brotherhood rolling over. This could get very ugly.

Hopefully the American ´street´ will wake up and see O for what he is. A MB fellow traveler.

Perhaps now we will find out definitively if Morsi/Obama were behind Benghazi and Amb, Stevens murder?
The Benghazi Four demand justice from these MB thugs.
Too many MB connections with the WH.
Jarrett, Abedin, Brennan Obama -all were vested in Morsi.
What fresh Hell wil they unleash on America?

Morsi was a criminal thug. He squandered the
responsibility of being pResident and
reverted to petty mistreatment of those who
didn´t agree with his wrong policies. He forgot he was elected pResident of ALL the people. Just because someone is "democratically elected" doesn´t mean that person can´t turn out to be a criminal and a traitor. The same goes for Obama. We need a regime change from the liar/traitor Obama.

It´s a good thing that the Egyptian military seems to be a stable entity, a gyroscope if you will. July 3 was a day full of "ohhhh ho....!" and chuckling outloud at the turmoil that no doubt is going on at the White House. What a rush! Take that Obama-another stick in the socialist Cyclop´s eye. Obama: "Valerie, VALERIE! What do I DO?!". I posted on CL that "USA is next, Obama will be deposed" and ironically received no counter attacks.

Think it can´t happen here? Think again. Once the populace, even the lo-fos finally realize what Obamacare is going to do to the price of goods and services across the board, not just the price of healthcare, things will get very bad for Obama indeed.

Egyptian military national security red line was crossed when Morsi .. with the support of Amd. Patterson, the US State Dept. and Pres. Obama .. met with hardline Islamists and called for the Egyptian military to get into the fight to depose Assad in Syria.

That pulled the trigger on getting rid of Obama´s female dog.

I hope this is a great day for Egypt, and I hope it´s a great day for America that on the 4th of July much of the world is in their streets screaming their hatred for Barack Hussein Obama.

Happy Fourth of July fellow patriots. I was depressed this year and felt like I was preparing for a wake. With the news from Egypt I´m feeling hopeful that there are still people who yearn for true freedom.

The Timber King and I are off to help decorate the Republican float for our hometown 4th of July parade. TK is on the county central committee and will be riding. I´ll be in the crowd taking pictures. Willits has the longest continuous Fourth of July rodeo and parade in the state of California since 1928. Everybody else stopped their parades during WWII, except our town, and we still get a good turnout.

My choice for the leader of Eqypt is B. Obama.
They have the type of Country he wants to attain in the USA. It is ready made for him and he can take up his speech where he left off the last time there. We will not miss him and he will be welcomed with open arms. Well, maybe they don´t like him there either, but he can clarify his position and straighten them out. They require a bunch of community organizing and he won´t have to deal with a bunch of czars to enact his mandates. Just my suggestion.

Before the cannons fired at Fort Sumter, the Confederates announced their rebellion with lofty rhetoric about “violations of the Constitution of the United States” and “encroachments upon the reserved rights of the States.” But the brute, bloody fact beneath those words was money. So much goddamn money. The leaders of slave power were fighting a movement of dispossession. The abolitionists told them that the property they owned must be forfeited, that all the wealth stored in the limbs and wombs of their property would be taken from them. Zeroed out. Imagine a modern-day political movement that contended that mutual funds and

In a new book released today, Massachusetts Democratic senator and potential presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren attempts to rewrite history regarding the controversy surrounding her “Native American” ancestry that emerged in the 2012 Senate campaign. What’s remarkable is that, at least in the initial book reviews, the press largely allows her to get away with it. In fact, it’s virtually ignored that to this day Warren still refuses to release any law school records that may shed light on this controversy. To be fair, most reviews note that Warren has never substantiated her claims of Native American heritage, which is true.

Wendy Davis’ campaign has had its problems. The revelation that her life story of personal struggle and triumph as a single mother was embellished was a game changer. There’s a pattern of falsifying statistics throughout the entire Census Bureau. And anyone who attempts to blow the whistle on the fraud is either retaliated against or ignored, according to two new sources who have experienced the process firsthand. As I’ve been writing for more than six months, the Census Bureau office in Philadelphia uncovered a case of fraud in 2010, did nothing about it and allowed the practice to continue. In that instance, a data collector named Julius Buckmon was faking reports that went into the nation’s all-important jobless tally and consumer-inflation survey. Because the Census Bureau’s surveys are scientific — meaning

After years of litigation, the Supreme Court on Monday said it would decide if Congress or the State Department has the final say in whether U.S. passports acknowledge Jerusalem as part of Israel. This touches on one of the most sensitive issues in decades of Middle East conflict, and the case also presents a major separation-of-power conflict between the legislative and executive branches. The controversy is over a 2002 law passed by Congress regarding passports. It says that a U.S. citizen born in Jerusalem may request his or her birthplace to be listed as Israel. The Obama administration is poised to entertain a flood of new clemency applications from thousands of federal prisoners who were given harsh sentences under mandatory-minimum laws following drug convictions, Attorney General Eric Holder said Monday. Holder said in a short videotaped statement that he wants to shrink the federal prison population by a modest amount while ensuring ´that those who have paid their debts have a chance to become productive citizens.´ At the center of the move is a set of old sentencing rules that punished crack-cocaine offenders with more time behind bars than users or traffickers of powder cocaine.

Former Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.) said a number of junior GOP senators considering a presidential run in 2016 do not yet have the experience — specifically naming Rand Paul (Ky.), Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Ted Cruz (Texas). The former 1996 GOP presidential candidate sounded particularly skeptical of Cruz in an interview this week with The Wichita Eagle. "A number of the younger members, first-termers like Rand Paul, Rubio and that extreme-right-wing guy, Ted Cruz — all running for president now. I don´t think they´ve got enough experience yet," Dole said. The 90-year-old former senator said, however, his main concern about 2016 is living

If Jeb reaches for the nomination, there will be a titanic battle between the party establishment and the Tea Party. Steve Schmidt, McCain’s strategist in 2008, insists that in the end Republicans usually settle on the most electable candidate. To get by, this Bush may be forced to trim his positions, although the cautionary tale of Romney suggests that he would have to tack artfully and carefully for the sake of the general election. Certainly he will have the resources to outlast, discredit, and disqualify his rivals.

Washington - Michelle Obama said "splurging is the key to life" if you regularly eat right and stay active. Her biggest guilty pleasure: French fries. "How would you appreciate vegetables if you never had chocolate?" she asked. "You couldn´t live without a little chocolate, a little French fries." The first lady took questions from children reporters Monday after appearing at the White House Easter Egg Roll. She told the children that if they eat right the majority of the time, then a splurge or snack is not going to hurt them. "I still splurge when I can, but that's why I try to exercise almost every day," she said.

As he moves from lobbyists to the golf course, from press conferences to the tanning bed, he remains oblivious to all that is around him. He has power, incredible power, and yet to this day he has no understanding of the election that made it so. Moreover, all around him are astonishing opportunities for him to be an historic figure -- one who could and should be the man who did more than any other single person in turning back the red tide of Obama. It’s all there for Speaker of the House, and yet John Boehner manages to miss

Global sea levels have risen by 8 inches (20cm) since 1880 and scientists predict they could rise up to 3ft (98cm) by 2100. But despite the UN’s recent threats of war, famine and extreme weather, such a dramatically different world caused by sea level rise can be hard to imagine. To help picture the future, Martin Vargic, an amateur graphic designer from Slovakia, has created a map depicting the planet with sea levels around 260ft (79m) higher than they are today. He imagines what Earth would look like if the ice sheets surrounding the North and South poles melted, releasing

Joan Eisenstodt didn´t have a stopwatch when she went to see an ear, nose and throat specialist recently, but she is certain the physician was not in the exam room with her for more than three or four minutes. "He looked up my nose, said it was inflamed, told me to see the nurse for a prescription and was gone," said the 66-year-old Washington, D.C., consultant, who was suffering from an acute sinus infection. When she started protesting the doctor´s choice of medication, "He just cut me off totally," she said. "I´ve never been in and out from a visit faster." These days,

It may not be tomorrow, but Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) says "something will happen" to force a Nevada rancher to obey a court order to stop grazing his cattle on federal land and pay his grazing fees. "It´s obvious that you can´t just walk away from this," Reid said in an April 18 interview with a Nevada´s KSNV-TV News 3 program “What’s Your Point?” "You can´t have a law that is -- we´re a nation of laws, not of men and women," he said. (Video) Reid noted that most cattlemen pay their taxes, pay their fees, and follow

Harry Reid isn’t backing down from his claim that rancher Cliven Bundy’s supporters are “domestic terrorists.” It’s astonishing rhetoric given the White House’s characterization of the mass shooting by a genuine terrorist, Major Nidal Hasan, who killed 13 Americans at the Fort Hood Army base after yelling “Allahu Akbar!” (God is great.) Rather than labeling Hasan’s actions “domestic terrorism,” the Obama administration is prosecuting him for having committed “workplace violence.” Democratic rhetoric is become ever more desperate and overheated as we approach the November midterm elections. Last week, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said that GOP positions on immigration were motivated by

Thirty-eight Republican lawmakers, including such unlikely bedfellows as John McCain of Arizona and Ted Cruz of Texas, have joined to support a lawsuit challenging the legality of the Affordable Care Act and accusing the president of repeatedly ignoring the law he signed for political reasons. The lawmakers have signed onto a legal brief in support of a lawsuit filed by Sen. Ron Johnson, the Wisconsin Republican who is asking a federal court to overturn Obamacare’s special treatment for members of Congress and their staffs. “The unlawful executive action at issue in this case is not an isolated incident,” the brief

Perhaps the most remarkable feature of American democracy is the magnificent estate of public land that it reserved from the very beginning for the use of all citizens, rich or poor. There is nothing like it in the democracies of Europe, which came into being with nations already carved up into private fiefdoms. The Great Idea that hundreds of millions of acres of forests, deserts, rivers and prairies should be owned by, and managed for, the public interest has had a profound and lasting influence on American culture. But not everyone has accepted it. Cliven Bundy’s armed standoff with the National Park
