Repackaged amnesty bill allows
Napolitano to nix border fence

Breitbart Big Government, by Matthew Boyle

Another loophole inserted into the new version of the “Gang of Eight” immigration bill allows Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano (or any of her successors) to nix the construction of a required border security fence if she does not find it to be an "appropriate" use of resources. The new version of the bill was introduced via a so-called “border surge” amendment from Sens. Bob Corker (R-TN) and John Hoeven (R-ND), with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid repackaging the whole bill into the amendment (snip) a provision was inserted that says Napolitano (snip) can decide against

Here is the answer to why Republicans should never back this bill; they haven´t read this fine print. Napolitano will find the border fence worthwhile building when pigs the size of her can fly.

They quit building the fence that was required by the last bill that congress passed. Doesn´t really matter what any law requires, the government will do as it damn pleases.

As with the healthcare bill: thousands of opportunities for the HHS secretary to add limitless regulations... bill is 2000 pages, regulations amounting to 20,000 pages so far.

Not one Repub voted for that horrid, liberty-destroying healthcare bill. This time, they seem to be selling us out, betraying us, with the exception of a few sterling Senators.

Shut it down and do it right in increments not some monster bill that will just end up screwing us ONE MORE TIME! I will not vote for any R who backs this mess. The House had better vote this down. I am tired of making these people rich while they take our money, give it to someone else, do whatever they want while ignoring us and smiling the whole time saying "trust us".

Is there NO limit to the ways the Elected RINOs will go to to stab this nation in the back? Is there no limit to low and degrading way they grovel at the feet of the likes of Schumer and his ilk?

Will they never understand that the New York Times will not write them up favorably, no matter how much they debase themselves?

Don´t they understand that there is no up-side to planting their lips firmly to 0b@ma´s posterior?

If this bill passes --House and Senate, then the people in their stats/districts should work night and day to see them removed from elected office, no matter what they are replaced with.

There´s been money in the pipeline for years to build/extend the fence and surveillance towers and they haven´t done it.I´ll bet with the looser border,it doesn´t cost as much to smuggle someone in,so they don´t have that much debt to pay off once they get here. You don´t have to worry about terrorist coming across the border, the state dept. just gives them a visa.

If the United States´ "leadership" had brains (and obviously it does not)...

It would be posting ALL "Homeland Security" personnel along our southern border
to solve the real security threats to our nation...
and quit harassing normal Americans who happen to fly on commercial airlines.

Securing the "Homeland" means that we secure our borders, especially the one
that is supposed to deny entry to Mexicans, who obviously do not belong here illegally.

A nation that cannot figure out the simplest things required for survival
is doomed... doomed to failure... and doomed to disappear as a nation...

We make a real border holding fast against Mexican and other invaders from our south,
or we cease to exist as a viable nation anymore.

Now is the time to make that final choice.
Let´s get it on now.

(Long past due that we finally conquer North Korea after 63 years...
and bring those to troops to where they are needed... our southern border...
It is called the Department of De Fence... for a reason... )

Once the bill passes we will find out that the liberal Democrats and their political allies the very liberal ethnic and immigrant advocacy groups who actually wrote the bill, have inserted so many loopholes, exceptions, and waivers in it designed to allow the Democrats to suck so many new foreign born and socialist oriented voter out of it in the years ahead that the wimpy Republicans will be lucky if they can get elected as local dog catchers.

Any legislation that is described as "comprehensive" should be defeated out of hand... no questions asked.
Big problems must be chipped away, piece by piece, with laws that are properly debated for all to see and that directly address a specific item.

Republican senators who vote for this liberal Democrat bill are political idiots. After the bill is passed and signed into law the liberal Democrats will take all the credit for passing the amnesty and assure themselves of tens of millions of new foreign born socialist oriented voters in the years ahead. All the Republicans will get is a lot less votes from conservatives. Then the third man and women out in all this, American workers will find that the bill either legalized on brings into the country 46 million foreign workers and their foreign family members in the coming years who will have complete access to the legal US job market and be legally able to compete with American workers for just about every scarce job out there. This is not a good picture.

The Republicans supporting this bill are bought by the big corporations longing for the huddled masses yearning to work free. Rubio will have so much money, he won´t need to worry about our paltry votes. As for illegal voters, they are here and voting now. A friend does polling, calling only registered voters. In every state, there are many who answer "Ola" and cannot speak a syllable of English, yet they are registered to vote. A Spanish speaking pollster then calls these American persons back.

The first step is admitting… It was a simple question to someone accustomed to much tougher ones: What was her proudest achievement as secretary of state? But for a moment, Hillary Rodham Clinton, appearing recently before a friendly audience at a women’s forum in Manhattan, seemed flustered.(Snip)So…no definitive successes and some clear-cut failures. And that’s the generous New York Times assessment. The Democrat fantasy story about Mrs. Clinton paints her as strong and accomplished on her own. In reality, this is a woman who is professionally defined almost entirely by two men in her life, both of whom happen to have
