On Andrea Tantaros radio show last week, conservative columnist and author Pat Buchanan warned of an unintended consequence of the immigration reform bill, a bill which doesn’t place a high priority on assimilation. According to Tantaros, her previous guest, former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey, said that the immigration legislation funnels money to so-called community organizing groups like La Raza with the idea of teaching immigrants “American history, the Constitution and civic participation.” That leaves open the possibility of activist groups teaching with a partisan slant — and impedes assimilation.
Comments: Wake up America, but it is too late because too many have been brainwashed and think this end result is a-okay with them
IF this should happen, and there´s a very good chance it will, the sane people, conservatives MUST insist the liberals go live in the Spanish area and that the border is well guarded this time. They want socialism and the Balkinzation of the country, THEY can live in it. And they can even have the muslim in chief and the clintons, we´ll elect our own president.
Plus, with the lefties in academia teaching revisionist history, we are developing American haters, anarchists, and people with chips on their shoulders. That´s why people like Bill Ayers are in education, planning and fomenting this development.
Maybe us palefaces should try to negotiate for some reservations where we can move to and preserve our heritage. Something tells me we´re not even going to end up in as good a situation as the Injuns got.
I´ve long thought we should break up, have a ´civil´ civil war. In one country would be all the honest, honorable, patriotic, God-fearing, decent, hardworking Americans and in the other country would be all the democrats.
Those of you who said we already are divided are right. It just hasn´t been formalized. Once new borders are established, we can deport the liberals and the rest of the scum, close the borders, and keep them out.
Now when immigrants are granted US citizenship, and most importantly to the politicians US voting rights, they no longer abandon their birth country citizenship´s and allegiances.
Under the international principle of duel-nationality the vast majority of today´s immigrants retain their birth country citizenship status and their foreign allegiances. Some foreign countries that have large numbers of their citizens residing in the USA, they set up polling locations within their embassies and consulates so that those people can go there and vote in their birth country elections.
If this liberal Democrat amnesty and path to citizenship bills becomes the law, they say that it will either legalize, or allow 46 million or more mostly poor and generally unskilled foreign workers and their foreign family members to come to the USA and access the legal US job market in the next ten years.
A big majority of those people will be Mexicans. The liberal Democrats recognize that up to 85% of Mexicans who come here and eventually gain US voting rights become Democrat voters. So the Democrats have every incentive to register as many of those new Mexican voters to vote in US elections.
As we observed in the last two presidential elections the liberal Democrat vote grabbing apparatus is very efficient, and dwarfs all such Republican efforts especially in ethic and immigrant communities.
Mexico considers that Mexicans who are granted US citizenship remain citizens of Mexico. So in the years ahead Mexico will stand to gain considerable influences over both US domestic and foreign policies though it´s tens of millions of Mexican citizens who would eventually gain US voting rights. No doubt those numbers of Mexicans with US voting rights will keep growing in future years.
So you can see that Buchanan raises a very valid point.
My thought was similar to Pat B. We lose a few states. I´ve seen with my own eyes how muslims hire and boss hispanic workers. They seem to control them in an odd way. Their cultures must accept the lord and master premise. I don´t see this as a good thing in the future of America.
We have not heard much from the State Governors concerning this big liberal Democrat amnesty and path to citizenship bill. That seems odd, since the vast majority of the long-term social costs will be handed down to the States to pay as unfunded federal mandates.
They are talking about the bill either legalizing or bringing in about 46 million mostly poor and generally unskilled foreign workers and their families in the next ten years. For a country that has been creating less 150,000 new jobs each month, the difference between all the jobs being created in 10 years and the numbers of foreign workers that they are going to open the borders too, represent a massive amount of future social welfare costs. 46 million poor people will generate a lot of children over the years and of course the States will be expected to fund and build new public schools for them and on top of that educate them at a very high cost.
"Histrionics from Patsy"? You know, you can brush up on your arithmetic at Khan Academy. Then you can figure out the impact of 50 million new ethnic "citizens" on the existing legal population of the U.S.
On Fox News Channel’s “Special Report” Monday, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer unleashed a scathing critique of the Obama administration as more and more of the flaws of ObamaCare are brought to the forefront. Krauthammer explained that as we learn many promises of the laws promotion are being left unfulfilled, it is clear a “vast deception” was at play. “That is another truth emerging,” Krauthammer said. “I think what is happening here is not just a matter of what is affordable. It is a matter of a vast deception. The idea that you can keep your doctor, you keep your plan, was meant to say
Brit Hume said Tuesday that California Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s call for a fix to Obamacare is a sign of just how bad things have gotten for President Barack Obama and his administration. On Fox News Channel’s “The Kelly File,” network senior political analyst Hume explained to host Megyn Kelly that Feinstein’s shift, after a million Californians lost their health coverage, indicates the worst is yet to come. Many more Americans are expected to have their health insurance policies canceled. “This is as bad a political disaster as I have ever seen,” Hume said.
On Monday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, network senior political analyst Brit Hume speculated that President Barack Obama may not have been concerned about the rollout of his signature health care legislation, which has been fraught with problems. Hume noted all the problems with the law, which includes requirements for insurance coverage that the consumer couldn’t need and some of the failed promises made by Obama himself. “On ‘The Kelly File’ here on Fox News the other night, Ezekiel Emanuel, brother of Rahm and one of the designers of the Affordable Care Act
On Saturday’s broadcast of NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” Kate McKinnon played Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in the show’s cold open and took on this month’s Obamacare rollout, which has been plagued by website troubles since its launch. “Hi, I’m Kathleen Sebelius, secretary of health under President Obama. Now, a lot of folks have been talking about our new health care enrollment website — how it’s been crashing and freezing and shutting down and stalling and not working and breaking and sucking,” McKinnon’s Sebelius said.
On Tuesday, Mediaite White House correspondent Tommy Christopher added another chapter to his ongoing self-promotional crusade masquerading as a career in journalism. And this time, it didn’t involve a shameless ploy to be an invited guest on whatever incarnation of Chris Hayes’ show MSNBC is currently airing. During Tuesday’s White House briefing on Tuesday, Christopher, whose name isn’t really “Tommy Christopher,” asked a question about President Barack Obama’s health-care reform law that incorporated his personal experiences with health insurance after his 2010 heart attack. “First of all, I don’t if you’re aware of this, but when I
Conservatives commentators Charles Krauthammer and Mark Levin traded barbs over Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz’s defund Obamacare tactics after Cruz’s 21-hour speech on the Senate floor. On Wednesday’s “Special Report” on the Fox News Channel, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer reacted to criticism from conservative radio host Mark Levin, who had taken to his radio show on Tuesday night to remind his listeners that Krauthammer once worked a speechwriter for the 1984 Democratic presidential nominee, former Vice President Walter Mondale. Krauthammer author of “Things That Matter: Three Decades of Passions, Pastimes, and Politics,” mocked the notion his position
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter suggested Monday that Russian President Vladimir Putin orchestrated the chemical weapons attacks in Syria to “make Obama look like a monkey.” Coulter, author of the forthcoming book “Never Trust a Liberal over 3 — Especially a Republican,” told Fox News host Sean Hannity that it’s “not looking good for Obama.” "[T]hese Democrats think being president is a Hollywood movie,” she said. “If they just come out and say it is in America’s national security interest, Americans will all swoon like they do in ‘The West Wing’ when Aaron Sorkin is writing it.”
On Friday’s broadcast of Hugh Hewitt’ s radio show, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer said President Barack Obama should handle the Syrian crisis by taking significant action or no action at all. Hewitt compared the present-day United States to the one the late British Prime Minister Winston Churchill spoke of in 1943 at Harvard in his famous “price of greatness” speech. Churchill had applauded the United States for stepping up as a world power in the middle of World War II. That attitude about America’s role in the world is far different today than Churchill had espoused
On Tuesday’s “Fox & Friends,” conservative author and columnist Ann Coulter railed against President Barack Obama’s foreign policy, saying, “they used to say under Bush, ‘Oh the world hates us, hates us,’ Now the world is laughing at us.” Coulter, author of “Mugged: Racial Demagoguery from the Seventies to Obama,” noted the push by Democrats for the United States to act, comparing it with their reluctance after former Iraq President Saddam Hussein had launched chemical attacks on his own people in the late 1980s. “Surprisingly enough, even The New York Times’ headline on this was, ‘President drags Congress
Immediately following his statement from the Rose Garden on Saturday, which President Barack Obama said he would delay a strike on Syria until seeking authorization from Congress, Washington Post columnist Charles Krauthammer took to Fox News to slam the president. Krauthammer criticized Obama for the way he has handled the unfolding of events surrounding the crisis in Syria. “[T]he most astonishing thing is the lack of any urgency,” Krauthammer said. “As you say, Congress will be back in a week. He says, ‘I can strike in a day or a week or a month,’ as if he
On Tuesday’s broadcast of Fox News Channel’s “The Five,” network contributor Juan William opened the program by sounding off on MSNBC regulars Al Sharpton and Michael Eric Dyson, both of who have been very outspoken in the wake of this month’s George Zimmerman verdict. One of the targets of Sharpton and Dyson’s ire has been “The O’Reilly Factor” host Bill O’Reilly for his comments on problems in the black community in the wake of the Trayvon Martin tragedy. Williams admonished Sharpton and Dyson for their efforts to vilify O’Reilly, noting there was some truth
Political talkers Sean Hannity and Joe Scarborough are trading blows over Trayvon Martin’s personal history. Last Friday on his radio show, Hannity asked if President Barack Obama compared himself to Trayvon Martin in his impromptu remarks on the George Zimmerman murder trial verdict because “he smoked pot” and “did a little blow.” On Monday morning, MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough took to his “Morning Joe” show to condemn Hannity for those remarks. “Really?” Scarborough said. “Is that the new standard? Would we like to go across college campuses in America and tell all white boys that if they have marijuana
New York — The anchor who might beat Bill O’Reilly gets her eyelash extensions applied one at a time, with tweezers and dabs of glue, about 90 minutes before showtime, right after a motorized gun sprays foundation over her face, neck, shoulders, collarbone and sternum, wiping out a galaxy of light freckles that spreads across her — Let me stop you right there. Photos of the day Uruguay legalizes marijuana, Kiev police pull back from protesters, aging U.S. prison population and more. Tuesday´s Photos of the day Would you write this way about a man? About O’Reilly himself? At least that’s what Megyn Kelly might ask at
When I was a kid, I knew two different Santa Clauses. The first had a fat belly, rosy cheeks, a long white beard, and skin as pink as bubble gum. He was omnipresent, visiting my pre-school and the local mall, visible in all of my favorite Christmas specials. Then there was the Santa in my family’s household, in the form of ornaments, cards, and holiday figurines. A near-carbon copy of the first one—big belly, rosy cheeks, long white beard: check, check, check. But his skin was as dark as mine. Seeing two different Santas was bewildering. Eventually I asked my father what
In August 2013 I became very sick with what I thought was a cold. After a few days I lost vision in my left eye and I checked into the hospital. I soon found out that what I thought was a summer cold was actually Strep bacteria poisoning my blood stream. The bacteria blinded my left eye, ate a hole through my heart, caused five strokes on both sides of my brain and forced the removal of my prosthetic left knee. Dr. Lee was the surgeon assigned to perform open heart surgery. What was originally scheduled to last four hours ended
Johannesburg - A man who provided sign language interpretation on stage for Nelson Mandela´s memorial service, attended by scores of heads of state, was a "fake," the national director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa said on Tuesday. Asked about the claim by The Associated Press, South Africa´s government said it was preparing a statement. Three sign language experts said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages. South African sign language covers all of the country´s 11 official languages, according to the federation. It wasn´t immediately clear if the unidentified man was using a
The health director who approved the release of President Obama’s birth certificate has died in a plane crash, Hawaiian officials said Thursday. Loretta Fuddy died after the Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft she was travelling on went down shortly after leaving Kalaupapa Airport at around 3:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET) on Wednesday. The other eight people on board were rescued, Richard Schuman, president of Makani Kai Air, told NBC News early Thursday, adding that that there was no indication as to why the plane had crashed. Fuddy hit the headlines two years ago when she approved a waiver request allowing Obama to
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "They´re using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday. Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration. In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans
Looks like this president can’t get away with flirting in front of his wife… It appears that first lady Michelle Obama was none too pleased with the way that President Barack Obama was acting toward Denmark Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt during a ceremony honoring Nelson Mandela, and before too long, they switched seats. This lmao! Michelle Obama vs Prime Minister of Denmark at Mandela´s ceremony. pic.twitter.com/Rq4uF9fTaZ — Stun (@TheBlogPirate) December 10, 2013
Views of the tea party are at all-time lows in a new poll, as primary challenges to establishment Republicans continue to heat up Washington. Just 30 percent of Americans view the tea party favorably in a new Gallup poll released Wednesday, the movement’s lowest point since Gallup began polling about it during its rise in 2010. Also in a first, a majority of Americans had an unfavorable view of the tea party, at 51 percent. Similar numbers of respondents described themselves as proponents or opponents of the tea party: Twenty-two percent identified themselves as tea party supporters, while 24 percent said they
The sign language interpreter at Nelson Mandela´s memorial yesterday "made up his own signs," according to South Africa´s deaf federation. "He´s a complete fraud," Cara Loening, director of Sign Language Education and Development in Cape Town, said according to ITV News. "He wasn´t even doing anything, There was not one sign there. Nothing. He was literally flapping his arms around." Delphin Hlungwane, an official South African sign language interpreter at DeafSA, told Reuters:
THE Internet has been abuzz over the spectacle of President Obama and the prime ministers of Britain and Denmark snapping a photo of themselves — a “selfie,” to use the mot du jour — with a smartphone at the memorial service for Nelson Mandela in South Africa on Tuesday. Leaving aside whether it was appropriate, the moment captured the democratization of image making that is a hallmark of our gadget-filled, technologically rich era. Manifestly undemocratic, in contrast, is the way Mr. Obama’s administration — in hypocritical defiance of the principles of openness and transparency he campaigned on — has systematically tried
If you go down on the ice today you´re sure of a big surprise - a rare glimpse of 20 polar bears gorging on a bloody midnight feast. These photographs show a rare cluster of males, females and cubs all dining out on the remains of a whale carcass. They spent a night and a day stripping every last morsel from the mammoth sea creature. Usually Polar bears are solitary and would never tolerate being so close to each other. But with food in plentiful supply and bellies dragging on the floor they seem too lethargic to fight.Wildlife photographer Michal
