Obama´s Loss of Trust
and Credibility

The latest polls show that President Obama´s approval ratings are in free fall like a hot air balloon with the fire extinguished; his approval rating has declined eight percentage points over the past month. CNN reporter Chris Cuomo described the decline as "dropping like a stone." Lara Brown of U.S. News and World Report, declared, "The Obama presidency becomes more Grant than Lincoln every day." Even his standing as a "leader" has shown a six-percentage-point drop among those who think he is a decisive and strong leader. Worse, CNN reports that half of the public no longer trust the president

There´s kind of a flex zone in presidential approvals that can go up or down, more or less at the drop of a hat. The decline in Obama´s numbers means relatively nothing. One headline of good news and he can spring back 5 or so points.

The left has cleverly gone about subliminal brainwashing for years,so things that were once considered unthinkable are now entirely possible. The more bad behavior becomes acceptable, the less you have to criticize a presidents ratings with.

There was a time when if he came out in strong support of gay marriage,he would have been sunk,he same with amnesty.

This presidency is representative of society as a whole. We have turned our backs on everything that has made this country strong and prosperous. Integrity, respect, work ethic, civility, and patriotism has fallen by the wayside for so many of our fellow Americans. Our culture is rotted with immorality, situational ethics and profanity. Class and respect are also ard hit. We have allowed ourselves to be lured into believing the lies of the progressives through our entertainment, education and news media. This has all worked together to produce a country that would accept a president who has no concept of what it really means to be an American. In his soul, he is not now or has he ever been an American.

The poll numbers don´t matter. Do you think this man actually cares what the populace thinks? His contempt for America and all it stands for has been evident since day one. He has an agenda and will push it through with the help of the corrupt congress and enemedia, even if his "popularity" drops to 0%. The polls are simply a feel good for the opponents of the current pResident.

Nothing better depicted Obama´s illegal tampering with the clear words of ObamaCare -- his announcement this week that he was delaying the employer mandate for medium-sized companies -- than Michael Ramirez´ brilliant cartoon showing the law as a blank page in which Obama had continually changed its words and meaning. Along similar lines, Charles Krauthammer observes: But generally speaking you get past the next election by changing your policies, by announcing new initiatives, but not by wantonly changing the law lawlessly. This is stuff you do in a banana republic. It´s as if the law is simply a blackboard on which Obama

In the business world, a diligent board of directors would have long ago fired CEO Obama. Sometimes it takes only a year of less than expected earnings to result in the termination of a corporate CEO. A couple of underperforming years and a few reasons more, and a CEO would have his bags packed and stowed underneath his buck-stopping desk. A long list of problems -- especially one suggesting even a hint of fraud -- that fails to generate a satisfactory board response would stir shareholders and lenders to demand the resignation of not only the CEO and other key employees,

This week the big story was the tag end of the old JournoList gang trying to spin gold out of the dross of the Congressional Budget Report. The CBO report projected that by 2021 under ObamaCare more than 2 million full-time workers will find it financially advisable to quit work entirely or switch to part-time jobs in order to get more subsidies for healthcare insurance. To most of us who studied real economics or just paid attention to human nature, subsidizing indolence means you´ll get more of it. This week to an ever-diminishing audience President Obama outlined a pedestrian plan for the remainder of this year, amidst the usual hornswoggle of invited guests in the gallery and dubious daytime TV style anecdotal stories of their lives. More popular than ever is the wish that we could return to State of the Union messages being delivered on paper to Congress. In the meantime my friend Ignatz, the genius Sultan Knish (Daniel Greenfield) and even Vladimir Putin offered up some sage observations which underscore the rot at the heart of the administration and his party and the likely consequences of their

Contradicting the faultless, albeit far-fetched image he has of himself, Barack Obama is a man harassed by truth. That´s why, judging from his inability to accept personal responsibility, Barack Obama must be living in a constant state of agitated cognitive dissonance. The late Leon Festinger is the social psychologist who proposed the theory of cognitive dissonance. According to Festinger, until the person suffering with perceptual disharmony can find a way to justify wrong actions and decisions, it´s impossible to achieve a calm mental state, especially when those wrong actions and decisions challenge the way the cognitively dissonant individual sees himself.

In 1994 or early 1995 the still unknown Barack Obama sent his editor at Times Books, Henry Ferris, the first two-thirds of his memoir Dreams from My Father. He told Ferris that to complete the book, he had to return to Kenya to do some research. The evidence strongly suggests that Obama went not to Kenya to do that research but to the local library to do some borderline plagiarizing. In the way of background, Barack and Michelle Obama visited Kenya in the summer of 1992 and married in October of that year. There is little dispute about the timing of

Many people, including the New York Times´ editorial page editor, found it puzzling that one of New York´s leftist mayor Bill De Blasio´s first priorities was ridding the city of one of its iconic diversions, the horse-drawn carriages at Central Park. They are simply not cynical enough. No matter how closely a politician may cleave to left wing (even communist) doctrines and personnel, follow the money. There´s a debate going on about Hillary Clinton´s past. If she runs for president in 2016, should Republicans reach back to the scandals of her years as First Lady? Or should they focus on more recent times, especially her tenure as Secretary of State, to build a case against her? The GOP doesn´t have to choose. Of course Clinton´s recent experiences are relevant to a presidential run. But so are her actions in the 90s, the 80s and even the 70s. It´s not ancient history; it reveals something about who Clinton was and still is. And re-examining her past is entirely consistent with practices in recent campaigns. In the 2012 presidential race,

Pelosi explained why the law is “very sound policy” during a press conference Friday: To go to back to our founders once again, they sacrificed it all for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The weirdest thing about John Kerry´s weekend speech on climate-change—other than the fact that this is the same guy who in 1997 voted to forbid the U.S. from signing the Kyoto Protocol—is that it begins by quoting something Maurice Strong said at the U.N.´s 1992 Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro: "Every bit of evidence I´ve seen persuades me that we are on a course leading to tragedy."
