Syndicated columnist Diana West says the ultimate conclusion of her new book shocked even her. “Americans have been betrayed … by our leaders going back to FDR’s administration in the 1930s because we were penetrated by Soviet agents to such an extent that our policies and, indeed I argue, our character as a nation was subverted,” she explained in an interview with The Daily Caller’s Ginni Thomas about her book, “American Betrayal: The Secret Assault on Our Nation’s Character.” “I don’t believe we won World War II,” West added. “I believe that we were actually carrying out Soviet

FDR was an admirer of Stalin and referred to him as "Uncle Joe". The State Department is infested with Communists and Muslim sympathizers from the top down.

Check out Alger Hiss if you want some insight into the role the liberal/Communist Democrat Party cancer played in the enslavement of eastern Europe under Stalin at the end of WW2.

Alger Hiss was a Soviet agent - yet the Dems still claim his innocence.
Yalta was his crowning achievement as he sold Eastern Europe to Stalin.
Nixon paid for outing him.
The NYTs still clings to its Pulitzer for Stalins propagandist Duranty who covered up Stalin´s Ukranian famine and other crimes.
Why is Vichy France in the Security Council?

In 1963 a Congressman from Florida came across a Communist Takeover of America, 45 Declared Goals. He had this read into the Congressional Record. Link is attached:

Peruse these and see how far they have gotten. Obama is particularly supporting of goals 3, 4, 6, 43, and 45.

No doubt there was influence from the Soviets. It is well known and documented. The real problem, however, is that in the 1960´s we rotted from within. The outside influence could have be fleeting. The inside rot governs today.

With all respect,
the problem did not begin in the 1930´s with FDR´s minions being too often commie agents.
the problem began 20 years earlier, under the vile Woodrow Wilson. Look up sometime the background of many of the worst of FDR´s appointees, and you will find that many matriculated under the Wilson mis-administration. Including under the equally vile ´Colonel´ Edward House.
subversion by the so-called ´Progressives´ goes that far back.
We´ve been heading down the drain for that long.
