Two faces of Britain:
In Woolwich, hundreds of people

beer-swigging EDL hijack his

Hundreds today used their Bank Holiday Monday to pay tribute to murdered soldier Lee Rigby by laying yet more flowers, balloons and hand-written notes at the spot where he died in Woolwich. Many sobbed as they came to see the stream of tributes that now runs the whole length of the street where the 25 year old Drummer was executed as he walked to his barracks last Wednesday. Meanwhile 10 miles across London more than 1,000 English Defence League supporters waved placards that read ´Blood on your hands´ and ´GB RIP´, as well as singing

The Islamists were Allies of the Nazis since the 30´s -now they are Allies of the Left-Labour.
Nothing has changed.
The real fascists are the Islamists who want to impose Sharia Law on GB and the West from Afghanistan to USA.
Islam is not a religion of Peace-but conquest.
Convert or die is their Motto.
There never was an Arab Spring -it was Obama propaganda to depose a long time Ally of Israel and America in favor of terrorist supporting Muslim Brotherhood.
Sweden has already capitulated to the Islamists -will GB?

The writer obviously has contempt for the English Defense League, about which I know nothing except what is said in this article. There seems to be something deeper going on, however. When the trustees and guardians of culture fail to fulfill their responsibilities, forces arise to meet the ensuing crisis. The EDL may be a vulgar, frightening source of contempt to people like the author of this piece who think the prim and proper and politically correct response to a horrifying religious homicide is to gather peacefully and quietly to "honor" the memory of the victim. This sheep-like and inoffensive behavior may feel good and be morally exalting - but it will do nothing to prevent more such murders. On the evidence available, the EDL would appear to have the right handle on the situation, and the author of this article to be yet another Leftist sissy.

Completely misleading. Buried in the article is the source of trouble:
"A group of United Against Fascism supporters staged a counter-protest at the same time and were penned in by the Met Police to avoid ugly clashes.

Violence broke out when about 100 anti-fascists mobbed five protestors who were arriving to join the march draped in Union Jacks and wearing England football shirts."

United Against Fascism is a fusion of old Commies, Muslims and anti-Semites. They attacked the EDL demonstrators. They set off the melee. Look at the pictures in the article, you can get a glimpse of the ethnic origin of the UAF thugs under their hoodies.

The Mail just had to throw in that line about "beer-swigging EDL" and left out the part about the third-world savages who attacked them.

Angry protest marches belong to the Left. Any similar protests by the Right must be *must* be portrayed as drunken riots or violent, fascist threats to law-abiding citizens. Basically, they are afraid their own tactics will be used against them. Thus, the Tea Party gatherings are portrayed in the news as potentially violent mobs of racist, mindless bigots, and the IRS is sent to destroy conservative organizations before they can organize truly grass root actions by the people. "The people" are supposed to always be on the side of the Left. .

Yeah, I´m sick of flowers, teddy bears and weepy candlelight vigils. Mark Steyn criticized this passive, helpless response to atrocity when it cropped up in Spain after their terrorist attack. Thousands of mournful umbrellas in the rain, then the next chance they had to do something, the Spanish voted for Socialists who promised to throw themselves on the ground before the barbarians and beg for mercy. Watching something burn that hasn´t been lit on fire by Muslims is a tactic that hasn´t been tried yet. Why not give it a whirl and see what happens?

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla.— A computer outage at the International Space Station may require a spacewalk by astronauts and threatens to delay next week´s launch of a commercial supply ship for NASA. NASA said Friday night that a backup computer on the outside of the orbiting lab is not responding to commands. The main computer, called an MDM or multiplexer-demultiplexer, is working fine, and the six-man crew is in no danger, officials said. But these computers control some robotic functions that would be needed for the upcoming supply run by SpaceX, one of two U.S. companies contracted by NASA to keep

President Obama on Friday said that Republicans were behind the biggest threat to voting rights in decades. “The principle of one person, one vote is the single greatest tool we have to redress an unjust status quo. You would think there would not be an argument about this anymore,” said Obama in an address to Rev. President Reagan was holding a meeting in the Cabinet Room on March 25, 1985, when Press Secretary Larry Speakes came over to me, as communications director, with a concern. The White House was about to issue a statement on the killing of Major Arthur Nicholson, a U.S. army officer serving in East Germany. Maj. Nicholson had been shot in cold blood by a Russian soldier. Speakes thought the president´s statement, "This violence was unjustified," was weak. I agreed. We interrupted the president, who reread the statement, then said go ahead with it. The Obamas made a total of $59,251 in charitable contributions in 2013 — 12.3 percent of their income — but most of the donations went to primarily secular organizations. From their adjusted gross income of $481,098, the president and first lady gave $1,500 to St. John’s Church, an Episcopalian parish near the White House where they occasionally attend services. The rest of their giving went to 31 different charities, including the American Red

Instead of getting to work on my own tax return, I´d rather look at President Barack Obama´s. So the White House did me a favor by releasing the 2013 joint federal income tax return of Barack and Michelle Obama Friday afternoon. Here are some highlights: • The Obamas paid $98,169 in total federal income tax on adjusted gross income of $481,098. That´s an effective tax rate of 20.4 percent. • The Obamas are due a tax refund of $19,108. What should they spend it on? • Besides his salary, Obama reported $104,809 in business income from book sales. That´s down

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators.
