Obama should end up on Mount
Rushmore say a third of George
Washington profs surveyed

Daily Caller, by Eric Owens

Original Article

Posted By:toledo, 5/27/2013 11:55:55 AM

According to a survey of George Washington University professors, some 30 percent generally endorse the eventual addition of President Barack Obama’s face to the Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The survey, conducted and reported by The College Fix, is hampered by an extremely limited sample size. Nonetheless, the results are fascinating. Of the 10 history and political science profs queried, three suggested that Obama may eventually be added to the huge sculpture of four enormous presidential heads carved into the granite face of a mountain in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Minor detail. It´s impossible to add anyone to Mt. Rushmore. Doesn´t matter who it is. I guess the writer and professors don´t know this. It´s a completely irrelevant question and I wish people would stop asking asking it.

I prefer the Crazy Horse monument nearby.
Obama´s face could be the back end of the horse. Much more fitting.

Proper headlines: "Just 3 in 10 college profs say Obama belongs on Mt. Rushmore"

"70 percent of college profs say ´No´ to Obama on Mt. Rushmore."

"30 percent of GW profs are ideological morons"

Might as well. Then we´d have the Washington and Jefferson, founders of the country, Lincoln, who kept it together, Teddy Roosevelt, who was a great patriot, and BHO who destroyed the country, all in one place.

The days of building monuments like Rushmore are over, you could never get the permits from various federal agencies to carve things into mountain sides. That said we know there will be a monument to Obama somewhere, history is told by the survivors and I expect him to have a prominent favorable role in history, somewhat like JFK, and probably Hillary to follow.

There isn´t room on the original memorial; but that´s ok. After struggling for awhile with the idea of a monument honoring the man who seeks to end the country, though, I reconsidered the professor´s idea a little more literally... and now I´m all in favor of it.

Commission a project to paint the whole monument in a red, white, and blue motif. And make the ´red´ coat by chemically dissolving his body, adding oxidized iron powder and dried pig´s blood if it needs to be redder, and treating it further to achieve a neutral pH.

Voila. Then you can say Obama´s on Mount Rushmore.

For the sarcasm-impaired agents tasked with guarding our chief executives from even perceived threats -- #12 is meant only to respond to one insultingly absurd idea with another.

(To illustrate how unrealistic the notion is, who on earth could ever get the required permits for dumping toxic waste like that onto ´public´ land, in the first place?)

So.... only 3 people ...only 3 said his face should be on Mount Rushmore.

And.. one of them says the reason it should be up there is because he is a black guy.

Uh... doesn´t that go against what Dr. King said... something about judging a man by the content of his character...rather than the color of his skin?

Here are the names of some mountains in Kenya, which would probably be more appropriate for an Obama Monument:

Mount Poror. Mount Kapkut (I´d leave out the second "k"). Mount Matthews (I wonder if there´s a trickle running down the side.) Homa Mountain (´nuff said).

I doubt he´s even considered in the top 4/5 of U.S. Presidents in due course.

They´ll start to realize how little he knew, how little he was able to achieve, how petty he was, and unable to even meet in the middle on ANY item.

His main "accomplishment" is obamacare which was forced thru an entirely Democrat controlled House and Senate without even being debated or even read.

The enourmous burden is starting to become reazlity, and he, and the rest of the Democrats who pushed this will be forever remembered in a negative way.

The Senate Intelligence Committee voted Thursday to make public a long-awaited report that concludes that the CIA’s use of brutal interrogation measures did not produce valuable intelligence and that the agency repeatedly misled government officials about the severity and success of the program. The decision, opposed by three Republicans on the panel, means that the findings will be sent to the White House and the CIA, putting the agency in the awkward position of having to declassify a document that delivers a scathing verdict on one of the most controversial periods in its history.

Japan recently turned over to the United States enough weapons-grade nuclear material to make dozens of nuclear bombs. This was one of President Barack Obama’s few foreign policy “successes,” as part of his nuclear-disarmament initiative. But his foreign-policy successes may be more dangerous than his “failures.” Back in 2005, Senator Barack Obama urged the Ukrainians to drastically reduce their conventional weapons, including anti-aircraft missiles and tons of ammunition. Ukraine had already rid itself of nuclear missiles, left over from the days when it had been part of the Soviet Union. Would Vladimir Putin have sent Russian troops so boldly into Ukraine

I don’t get all the claims of radical environmentalism in Noah. I saw it last night. I did not draw out of it the environmentalism. In the movie, Noah took the position that all mankind had corrupted the earth with sin and God intended to wipe them all out. Noah presumed God would wipe him and his family out too once all the animals were saved. Sure, Noah was a vegetarian and the bad guys are meat eaters who do to the earth what Saruman did, but I don’t really see the whacked out radical environmentalism. It’s more thematic of

The mainstream media ignored the horrific abortion case, and a giant fundraiser has tried at the last minute to censor the movie about Kermit Gosnell, but a project to bring the story to theaters next year is moving ahead this weekend with a public campaign to raise $2.1 million.“I think Americans will step up,” filmmaker Phelim McAleer told Secrets about "Gosnell." The movie about the Philadelphia abortionist convicted last year of murder and illegal late-term abortion charges almost stumbled at the last minute when internet fundraiser Kickstarter imposed censorship restrictions on how the moviemakers planned to describe the killer in their

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) blocked the release of the names of hospitals where 19 veterans died because of delays in medical screenings, leading to calls for transparency from news outlets and a bipartisan group of Capitol Hill lawmakers.Earlier this month, the VA denied a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request from Tampa Tribune reporter Howard Altman, who had been investigating the deaths. CNN reported in January that 19 veterans died as a result of delayed gastrointestinal cancer screenings, while another 63 were seriously injured. CNN obtained internal documents from the VA listing the number of “institutional disclosures of adverse

Riyadh - US President Barack Obama meets Saudi King Abdullah Friday as mistrust fuelled by differences over Iran and Syria overshadows a decades-long alliance between their countries. Obama, who is due to arrive in Saudi Arabia late in the afternoon on a flight from Italy, is expected to hold evening talks with the monarch on a royal estate outside Riyadh.Saudi Arabia has strong reservations about efforts by Washington and other major world powers to negotiate a deal with Iran on its nuclear programme. It is also disappointed over Obama´s 11th-hour decision last year not to take military action against the Syrian

Imagine going to work one day only to be, in effect, fired -- not because of anything you did or didn’t do at your job, but because of something you did in your personal life. Something religious. Or maybe, something political.(snip)That’s exactly what happened to Brendan Eich, a highly-respected tech guru in Silicon Valley and co-founder of Mozilla Corporation, after he was appointed CEO in late March. In less than a week, he was forced out of this position for no reason other than that he had a made a $1000 contribution to the Prop 8 initiative in 2008. His

The State Department has no idea what happened to $6 billion used to pay its contractors. In a special “management alert” made public Thursday, the State Department’s Inspector General Steve Linick warned “significant financial risk and a lack of internal control at the department has led to billions of unaccounted dollars over the last six years. The alert was just the latest example of the federal government’s continued struggle with oversight over its outside contractors. The lack of oversight “exposes the department to significant financial risk,” the auditor said. “It creates conditions conducive to fraud, as corrupt individuals may attempt

Muslim moms and dads in Dearborn, Mich. are upset after students received flyers promoting an Easter Egg hunt at a local Presbyterian church. The parents say the egg hunt violates the U.S. Constitution. The Muslims told the Detroit Free-Press that they were concerned about the religious implications of Cherry Hill Presbyterian Church’s “Eggstravaganza!” They were also troubled by images of a bunny rabbit. “It really bothered my two kids,” parent Majed Moughni, told the newspaper. “My son was like, ‘Dad, I really don’t feel comfortable getting these flyers, telling me to go to church. A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.

Following her speech at the “Women of the World Summit” in New York City on Thursday, Hillary Clinton was asked this simple question by a moderator: “When you look at your time as Secretary of State, what are you most proud of? And what do you feel was unfinished, and maybe have another crack at one day?” Here are a few excerpts from her response: ”Look, I really see my role as Secretary, in fact leadership in general in a democracy, as a relay race. When you run the best race you can run, you hand off the baton.” “Some

Earlier this week on Boston’s WRKO-AM’s The Howie Carr Show, conservative commentator Ann Coulter shocked some conservatives when she said she is making 2012 Republican nominee Mitt Romney her favorite for the 2016 Republican contest. Last month in an interview on CBS’s Face the Nation, Romney himself ruled out the possibility of a 2016 run and said he was instead focused on who to get behind in that contest. Coulter, however, wishes otherwise. “Well, don´t tell him but I´m planning on giving Mitt Romney a little more time to rest -- flying out, kidnapping him and depriving him of sleep, food and

A 54-year-old white man has been left barely clinging to life after he was brutally beaten by a group of black men when he got out of his car to check on a young black boy he accidentally hit. Steve Utash, from suburban Roseville, was beaten into a coma Wednesday by an angry mob in a poverty-stricken Detroit neighborhood after David Harris, 10, ran in front of his truck on a busy street, but police insist the incident was not racially motivated. The gang also stole his wallet before leaving him for dead. Utash is in extremely critical

Attorney General Eric Holder disputed a Government Accountability Office report on his use of Justice Department airplanes for personal trips, saying it overstated the number of trips he took and failed to recognize that some trips were job-related. "My staff keeps telling me to take it easy, you know, well, this is one that gets me," Holder told Rep. Frank Wolf, R-Va., during a House Appropriations subcommittee hearing. "There was this notion that we´ve taken -- I think it was described as hundreds of personal trips. That was wrong. GAO counted flights, not round trips. And we looked at it

Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney has sworn off running again for elected office, but Americans have certainly heard that one before. Speculation that Romney might run again has largely been stoked by the reunion he planned to host last month in Park City, Utah, for members of his 2012 campaign and debate team and a string of recent public appearances. He has appeared on TV news shows 12 times in the past six months. That’s essentially on pace with Michigan GOP Rep. Mike Rogers, who led all national politicians last year with 26 appearances over 12 months. Romney has
