Boy Scouts and Sexual Abuse:
What Will Happen to
´It happened to me´?

American Thinker, by Kurt Wayne

There are some things a parent doesn´t want to think, let alone talk, about. For many, chief among those would be sexual assault and abuse of his or her own children. Yet evil far too frequently flourishes in silence. That´s why there are times when some individual or group has to be brave enough not just to speak out(snip)That´s exactly what the Boy Scouts of America tried to do about the problem of juvenile sexual abuse of boys years ago when they created the original video "It happened to me," in age-appropriate versions for both Cub and Boy Scouts

They will have to replace it with a new film showing female victims of "heterosexual" males because no one must notice the relationship between homosexuality and homosexuality....I mean gay men having sex with younger men and 16-17 year old teenagers.......I mean - nothing to see here!

A slumber party with 12-16 boys and girls is wrong. Parents do not want their children to sleep over with other kids who are attracted to them sexually. Parents will not want their young boys having slumber parties or overnight camping trips with boys who like boys. The scouts are done. But that was probably the goal of the progressives.

Troop leadership is responsible, with the boys, to police behavior, whether sexual or otherwise. My son´s troop had a few "odd" boys, and they were not a problem because the boys themselves would not tolerate homosexual activity, and the leaders would send boys not "morally straight" packing. That includes sexually active heteros.

I fear this is the beginning of the end for the Boy Scouts. They have been forced to jettison their values one by one. Now they will fade away and eventually disappear.

The BSA have not been forced to do anything #4. They have willingly thrown in the towel on their former morals, standards and common sense. They have become as gutless as so many others in a rapidly declining Western civilization. Although I have compassion for the children who were "born too late" to know the real America of our past, I no longer pity the spineless and their insistence on capitulation. They will get exactly what they deserve.

Anybody want to take bets on what´s behind the push to push homosexuals into the Boy Scouts?

I am so disappointed in the BSA that I don´t know what to do.

Having several Explorer and Eagle Scouts in our family, the BSA is now dead to me. It was a fantastic organization and excellent experience for boys and young men. No longer.

Like with the GSA and AARP, we need replacement organizations to grow and emerge.

The Indian American immigrant vs. the radical white son of a one percenter capitalist was quite a spectacle. The Dinesh D´Souza and Bill Ayers debate on Thursday night at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire, and sponsored by Young America´s Foundation, hands down showed D´Souza has a broad view of history and a love of America as a "wealth creator." In contrast, Ayers has a narrow progressive view where "we [the people] are the sovereign, collective authority." Last week the U.S. Senate´s lone black member, Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, was the object of yet another viscous attack centering on his skin color and political ideology. In a day and age where we see black Americans flourishing in all walks of life from the classroom to the board room, who or what could be the source of such consistent, vile, racially denigrating rhetoric? The Klu Klux Klan, Aryan Nation or some other white supremacy group? No. None of these. Boring enough that Joe Biden, seated right behind Obama and on camera for the entire snooze fest, started mugging and interacting with members of Congress in the audience. Many analysts of national news media have noted that there is a double standard with regard to how the media report the behavioral faux pas of Republican versus Democratic politicians. But there is a far more important difference between the two national parties and their moral postures. This difference is revealed when one compares the campaign rhetoric used by the DNC to the behavior of Democratic officials at the local, state, and national levels once they have achieved positions of power.

Obama won’t give it up. If you also suffered through the State of the Union address, you heard him praise Obamacare, claim he would slash bureaucracy, and of course, fight for income equality. Obama pandered to the ladies, his tone becoming more passionate with every overly emotional word: Today, women make up about half our workforce.
