Mark Levin: "RINO" Issa Didn´t
Investigate IRS Before Because
He "Despises The Tea Party"

Real Clear Politics, by Ian Schwartz

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 5/24/2013 5:38:38 PM

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Comments:
This will really tick you off. We heard some rumblings about the cutting out of the Tea Party during the RNC convention. As if it´s not bad enough we have to fight against Democrats, we have to fight against the RINO´s in our own party.

Aaaaargh! When we have people (Issa) searching for answers and leading the committees to do it, how productive is it for the Mark Levins to attack them for not doing more and not doing it earlier? I get the feeling that none of us please Mr. Levin. I also get the distinct feeling that Mr. Levin treasures his spotlight. I wish he´d take a chill pill and be quiet for just a little while. He might be surprised when he sees some of the results he hopes for.

I think there is a whole lot of truth in what Mr. Levin said. If the RINOs don´t fess up to their part in the IRS scandal, then they will pay heavily in 2014. I believe the Demonrats are counting on their silence, then they will spring it on the American public minutes before they vote in 2014. Best to get the truth out...now. Also a good idea to have Conservative Tea Party candidates ready to win seats in 2014.

Well, it is entirely possible that no Republican had anything to do with siccing the IRS on the Tea Party.

And who´s an "establishment Republican"? Anyone Levin decides is one?

Mark Levin is a very smart man who sees what the blind Republicans don´t see.
WHO defended Sarah Palin?
WHO protested the growth of this bloated government?
WHO is in favor of a balanced budget, reduced spending, lower taxes and less choking regulations on businesses?
WHY won´t RINOS who have the majority in the House de-fund Obamacare?
WHO is attacking Cruz, Lee and Paul?
McCain is the epitomy of the RINO Republicans.

Levin may feel there are no good people involved in the IRS mess. Including those trying to investigate it.

If so, it t doesn´t much matter who you bash.

Yes, some GOP people asked that the Tea Party and similar conservatives be scrutinized Even more Democrats officials wanted the same, and a lot more of it.

IG reports were delayed or buried. No one knows anything. No one did anything wrong. Nothing to see here but the 5th Amendment sure may prove handy. Yada, yada, yada.

We might say "Forget it Mark. It´s Washington". But I´m glad he won´t.

Oh I see, attack Levin and throw out irrelevant facts to distract from his main point that Issa could have and should done something before the election and he CHOSE NOT TO!

Bottom line is that Issa is a democrat enabler and his Fast and Furious investigation is for show only.

I´ve railed against the GOP Establishment with the best of the Tea Partiers. IMO, however, the headline is misleading. I didn´t draw any connection between Issa and the Establishment´s hatred of the TP from the detailed text, other than he was not chartered by the others to hold hearings in his committee.

I´ll still consider Darrell one of the "good guys" until more concrete proof is offered to the contrary. He was an essential player in the pre-Tea Party movement to remove CA Governor Gray Davis. His background is that of an electronics (car alarm) entrepreneur, not a life-long politician as much of the other Establishment types. His Wikipedia bio reads more like a "hit piece", painting him as a chronic car thief who consistently evaded conviction. Of course, anyone (including political enemies) can contribute to Wikipedia articles, so I´ll take that with a grain of salt until more substantiated evidence is offered.

Some of you still aren´t getting it. Maybe republicans did not do the siccing of the IRS on the Tea Party, but you know what, they stood by while it was being done. That kids is far far worse.

You need to get it into your heads that the Republican party has no love for the Conservative branch of the party and they would not cross the street to put us out if we were on fire.

Darryl Issa is a good man, he has so many irons in the fire now, starting with Fast and Furious, that has not gone away as much as some might think. By the way, there is no Tea Party, only good Patriotic Americans who have gathered all over the country to promote smaller Govt. How do you hate that!

It´s just Mark´s frustration with RINOs -- and there´s more of them -- being so freaking dumb and so easy to head fake. Even that wouldn´t be so bad -- what is more to be avoided than politics if it is not republican politics? But republican strategy now stands between us and freedom -- and republican generals make disappointing field marshals because they never fight to win.

I have heard Darrell Issa speak at a number of rallies, and since he is my representative, followed him closely. He is a firm supporter of our cause and does NOT deserve the wrath of Levin!

Heaven help and protect us from spokesmen like Levin who adhere to a gold standard that only includes the purist of conservatives! Levin dampened down enthusiasm for Romney with his sharp criticism that morphed into: "Vote for Romney because he is not quite as bad as Obama." That did not inspire voters to turn out on Election Day!

Issa is methodical, serious, dedicated and effective. Yes, it is slow pursuing these issues, but he does not give up. It serves no purpose for Levin to be so caustic.

Considering what is going on right now and the importance of the House Oversight Committee´s hearings on both the IRS and Benghazi, I believe this is a show biz play by Levin to get attention. It serves no constructive purpose, especially at this time.

Mark Levin may be an icon to some here. I don´t do pundits. I trust my own mind and judgment to decide who is a good guy and who is not, and right now Levin is not doing too well.

GOP establishment personnel define themselves. For example, they freely admit they´ve already started fundraising to help elect democrats along with republicans, a PAC started by Boehner ally La Tourette. NPR even said it was better for Boehner that Obama won. It was a matter of life and death for the GOP that the Tea Party be defeated in 2012. The NY Times front page on 12/26/12 said the GOP came very close to losing control of the party. A loose definition of a GOP-e person is anyone who´s been a GOP consultant, lobbyist, congressperson or senator continuously since 2000 or earlier and hasn´t resigned in shame for handing the country to the radical left. Or anyone who gives credence to the idea that CO2 is destroying humanity. George Bush #1 in 1990 introduced the notion of CO2 as a poison in Section 204 in the 1990 Global Change Research Act. I don´t care what you call it, but this isn´t a political party. It´s a mob.

Why didn´t Issa investgate the IRS before the election? Maybe because the guy´s got a very full plate and is not Superman. Or perhaps he didn´t want to give Obama the opportunity to get out in front of his own scandal and pose as the Great, Righteous Reformer for the LoFo´s.

I´m just guessing. But it does seem to me that some people on our side think this is all a movie and want to fast forward to the Happy Ending. Unfortunately it doesn´t work that way.

The IRS is far from the only federal agency that has been outrageously abusive toward American citizens. The Department of Homeland Security pronounced conservatives, Christians and TEA Party members as "domestic terrorists" as soon as Wise King Barky took office, and they have held tightly to that chunk of left-wing delusion ever since.

Did you see the pictures of the DHS jackasses in their special DHS vehicles "monitoring" the protests at various IRS offices? Just more corrupt, useless, brainless Obama drones there to try to intimidate patriotic, law-abiding people. How any man could wear that badge and pull that duty and still look himself in the mirror is beyond me. Must be a bunch of recruits from the "microscopic genitalia brigades."

Whatever makes you feel important, morons.

For all of you trashing Mark Levin´s opinion of Darryl Issa: It was Mark Levin and his Landmark Legal Foundation that contated the Treasury Department´s IG for Tax Administration and requested that they investigate to determine if the IRS had engaged in misconduct with regard to Tea Party groups that were seeking tax-exempt status. That was in March of 2012, almost eight months BEFORE the election. This conduct was known to several lawyers, including Jay Seculow, who were epresenting these groups. Levin is right.

Where you like Mark Levin or not, he is a bulldog for Constitutional law, and defends it.

Obama is supposed to be a Constitutional scholar, and he ignores it, flat out flaunts in your face the ways he does not follow its precepts, and does what ever he will.

That is tyranny, and he is the head Tyrant!

The "get along to go along" crowed in DC (RINOS) are denying the citizens back home in order to place themselves above the will of the people. Because the IRS was misused, it suppressed those who oppose them.

No more circular firing squads!!

I´m glad there are still some Mark Levin´s out there!! God Bless you, sir!

President Barack Obama saved wife Michelle’s skirt from blowing above her head in the wind as they boarded Air Force One today. As the Obamas boarded the plane in Houston, Michelle’s skirt began to vigorously billow in the wind. Barack kindly placed his hand over his wife’s bottom to save her from potentially embarrassing photos. In doing so, the President helped Michelle avoid a fiasco similar to the ‘Marilyn moment’ experienced by the Duchess of Cambridge on Monday when she disembarked her flight in Wellington, New Zealand. Stephen Colbert will soon be the first openly partisan comic with a late night show on network television. It´s just one reason why today´s news that the liberal host of The Colbert Report will take over for David Letterman on The Late Show smacks of culture, not show business pragmatism. Late night hosts must appeal to a wide audience. So poaching a comedian from the niche-friendly world of cable television makes little sense, particularly a figure with a hard-partisan persona. Yes, Colbert plays a "conservative" on his Comedy Central program, but it´s just a pose to mock the right and

The progressive march to the future is destroying America. What the Democrats and the progressives are doing behind the scenes is a more frightening and unjustified power grab than Putin´s on the Ukraine. I have been silent the last couple of years because my politics are not in goose step with most of Hollywood. For that matter it is not in step with the GOP, either. I find both parties have done things that are detrimental to America. The GOP more by sins of omission. I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I have come to believe America is being

House Armed Services Committee chairman Rep. Buck McKeon (R-CA) said that a promise Majority Leader Eric Cantor made last year is a major force behind the push to grant amnesty to illegal alien DREAMers who enlist in the military. Cantor “made a pledge that he would help” Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) enact the proposal, McKeon said at a roundtable on Thursday morning in Washington, D.C. As reported last week by Breitbart News, House Republicans had been quietly working working to insert the text of the proposal into an related Defense authorization bill, but after the issue became public McKeon announced he would

When Jeb Bush comes to New York City Thursday, his main purpose won’t be to raise money for his possible 2016 presidential bid, but to begin two days of meetings with his employer, the big Wall Street firm Barclays Capital, FOX Business has learned. Bush’s trip, confirmed by people close to the former Florida governor, is raising eyebrows among some Republican fund raisers that he remains too cozy with to the financial industry at a time when many voters view Wall Street as toxic. A spokeswoman for Bush, the son of president George H. W. Bush and younger brother of president George

Under the administration of President Obama, as never before in my lifetime, there is reason to be a bit afraid of the federal government. I have written two books documenting Obama´s abuses of power, his assaults on the Constitution, his wars against business and energy, his abominably reckless spending, his divisiveness, his renegade Justice Department, his regulatory expansion, his executive orders, his overall lawlessness, and more. Obama´s conduct concerning Obamacare alone would be enough to get the impeachment wheels rolling for any other president. His flagrant, deliberate lies regarding almost every aspect of that

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has accused the panel´s top Democrat of prompting the Internal Revenue Service in 2012 to target a conservative organization applying for nonprofit status. Issa said records obtained last week from the IRS show communications from the office of ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., about True the Vote, a Texas-based, nonprofit conservative group that aims to prevent voter fraud. The communications at one point involved Lois Lerner, the ex-IRS official who Issa´s panel is poised to hold in contempt of Congress on Thursday for refusing to provide testimony about her

Baseball Hall of Famer Hank Aaron compared Republicans that oppose President Barack Obama to the Ku Klux Klan. Speaking to USA Today Tuesday on the 40th anniversary of his then record-breaking 715th home run, the 80-year-old Aaron said that Republicans are hindering Obama’s job performance. “Sure, this country has a black president, but when you look at a black president, President Obama is left with his foot stuck in the mud from all of the Republicans with the way he’s treated,” Aaron told USA Today Sports.

Attorney General Eric Holder strayed from prepared remarks to slam the way he was “treated” by a House committee the day before, calling it evidence of “ugly and divisive” civil rights challenges facing him and President Barack Obama. Speaking to the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network at its annual convention in New York on Wednesday, Holder talked about the state of civil rights today and brought up a House committee hearing Tuesday that grew contentious, according to video from Mediaite and reports from outlets including Capital New York. “The last five years have been defined by significant strides and

How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

A new review is questioning the effectiveness of two key drugs enlisted in the fight against influenza and in turn the investments by governments to stockpile the drugs in the event of a global flu outbreak. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or

Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Barack quickly stepped in and grabbed the First Lady´s billowing skirt to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction and embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moment. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!
