Anthony Weiner announces NYC mayor run
Politico, by Kevin Robillard

Original Article

Posted By:Scottyboy, 5/22/2013 6:06:40 AM

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

And he´ll probably win because the Dem candidates resemble the Seven Dwarves --clueless, on the take, or corrupt (John Liu). Unfortunately Gristedes´ owner John Catsimitides is sucking all the air out of the Republican race (he´s the one who looks like Jabba the Hutt) and is nothing but another Dem in Disguise. Unfortunately an excellent potential mayor, Joe Lhota, is getting lost in this because he doesn´t have Bloomie´s money nor particularly smart advisers (I think they are waiting for Cat to spend all his money).

NYC´s lefties and socialists will get what they deserve--more crime, failing schools, dirty streets and another broke city (because a lot of bills that Tiny Bloomie pushed off or created are going to come due in this term). I look at this as the crest of a beautiful, safe city that its own residents will destroy. (Watch the curve of residential construction and crime rates in the next mayor´s term)

Why doesnt he get a real job for a few decades. Professional politician is not a real job. Its a negative job.

There have always been men of low character in high places, but fear of public exposure used to keep them in check. I realized something fundamental had been ruined when Bill Clinton wasn´t forced to resign within days of his misconduct becoming public. At the time, I knew it was the end of any standards within the Democratic party. What I didn´t expect was that it would signal the beginning of the end for moral judgement in American politics. Now there is virtually nothing a politician can do to render themselves unfit for public office. With the nomination and election of Mark Sanford, the Republicans are on the same descent path; they are just a little behind the curve. We are governed by those who are demonstrably incapable of governing themselves.

Anthony Weiner is a symptom. I fear there is no cure.

He´s a perv, wife is Muslim Brotherhood or a sympathizer, and helped to destroy this country while at State working for that other traitor, Hildebeest. (And where was Huma when Benghazi went down?)

When are the supposedly powerful Orthodox spokesmen going to go after this horrible combination and expose it (sic) for what it is? Or are they paid off?

This has national implications because Weiner will not stop at being mayor--try governor and president. (And I´d bet if you look closely, there´s Soros money there.) And BTW, for all you NYC-haters, Lucianne and more than a few other posters live here. Don´t damn us, please. It´s going to be worse than the 1970s-1980s, and will affect all of you.

When you have Bloomberg elected as Mayor, the bar is set pretty low. Weiner is an obnoxious little fool who is without a drop of honor or integrity. He is a small man with no shame. A man who would send naked photos of himself is totally without judgment, and that is a serious personality flaw. He is personally corrupt. If you wanted to run for office, being a person of good moral character and integrity used to mean something in this country. Now being a sexual exhibitionist is resume enhancer which is a pathetic indictment of our society.

Well -- what do you expect from uma´s own weiner?

She worked for hillary -- eh?

These kinda women offend every woman -- by standing with their perverts....at the expense of all WOMEN....

Now how can the demorats be said to have protected WOMEN? They support them when they murder babies, they support them when they "demand" birth control paid by joe/six/pack....but never when a woman is sexually attacked.

Something´s very wrong here. You go NYC -- and elect your pervert and watch America laugh at you. With good reason...

It is absolutely astounding the number of corrupt elected officials running for office in NYC. Not a resident any longer, I agree, New Yorkers get what they deserve if they elect this pervert. I agree with an earlier poster, Joe Lhota is the only hope to save New York City. If he doesn´t make it, NY will revert to the wild west that it was before Rudy.

Huma works for Hillary, the Muslim Brotherhood, Islam, and Allah. She is lesbian Hillary´s love interest. That is why Hillary doesn´t/hasn´t cared about Bill Clinton´s pervert ways, except when it embarrasses her and their team efforts to be the TOP operatives of the global elite.
Rumor has Huma also as a Saudi agent,, supplying information to and from the Obama government. She is attractive in some ways, and it has hooked the old Hillary´s lustful heart.
In her special role helping Islam conquor the West, she takes cover under Anthony´s Weiner, and subverts the United States. The power structure will meet her, and weaken, and fail as she succeeds in roping the dopes.

Frankly, Mr Weiner is not the problem, as that is up to the voters, but his wife and her associations pose many questions. Just my opinion.

Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Barack quickly stepped in and grabbed the First Lady´s billowing skirt to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction and embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moment. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!

Global warming is not being taken seriously and time is running out to avoid consequences like flooded cities and dried out farmland, World Bank President Jim Yong Kim said Thursday. "We are quickly coming to the point where we are not going to be able to keep global warming below two degrees Celsius," Kim said at the start of the IMF-World Bank spring meetings in Washington. "Warming by two degrees Celsius is going to have major implications.... 40 percent of the arable land in Africa will be gone at two degrees Celsius; Bangkok could very well be underwater at two

It was a busy Saturday afternoon at Penn Square and this was happening up on the second floor in front of a growing crowd. A woman, accused of shoplifting, now topless and wrestling with security on the ground. Her bare chest exposed to everyone who walks by. Almost immediately people start getting out their cell phones and capturing the shirtless showdown including the person who captured this video you´re watching. The man who shot this cell phone video walked out of Dillards and immediately saw a nearly naked brawl between a topless woman and a mall security guard. Witnesses say the security officer called

An autopsy on Peaches Geldof was inconclusive and toxicology tests will be conducted in an attempt to determine what killed the 25-year-old celebrity, police said Wednesday. Geldof was pronounced dead by paramedics at her home in southeast England on Monday. Kent Police said a post-mortem examination had not revealed the cause and a toxicology report could take several weeks. Geldof, the daughter of Irish musician Bob Geldof and the late TV presenter Paula Yates, had worked as a model, writer and television show host. She grew up in the glare of Britain´s press, which reveled in the late-night antics of her teenage years, and

The President is no economic illiterate, despite what conservatives think. He understands basic macroeconomics just fine, thank you – but with a twist. Mainstream Democrats worship at the altar of the New Deal. It’s an article of faith that massive government spending pulled America out of the Great Depression. (With all respect to Paul Krugman, the truth is more complicated, but that’s not within the scope of this article.)The president’s view of spending, deficits and debt is not merely Keynesian theory run amok. Its origins and objectives are far more terrifying. Where the traditional Democratic playbook for economic downturns was provided

WASHINGTON — About the only thing former President Ronald Reagan doesn´t have named after him is a mountain, not one recognized by the federal government anyway.(snip)Rep. Jared Huffman, D-Calif., said he thought DeFazio´s amendment was "terrific" but wanted to take it a step further and name the planet after Reagan. Huffman said his reasoning was that if the planet were named after Reagan, then Republicans might be more concerned with taking up legislation dealing with global warming.

A majority of Americans believe that President Barack Obama’s signature health care law will be repealed. A new Rasmussen Reports poll found that 62 percent of likely voters believe that Republicans will repeal Obamacare, which recently marked its fourth anniversary. Only 23 percent of those polled believe that the health care law has been a success, compared to 46 percent who describe the law as a failure. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, a potential 2016 presidential candidate, offered a Republican alternative to Obama’s health care overhaul last week, saying states should play a greater role in containing health care costs while

Many Americans have been watching with great consternation the ongoing struggle between the Federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) and the U.S. Marshals against Cliven Bundy and his family. There are no signs of either side relinquishing their position. Many onlookers have been informed that this dispute is over protecting the desert tortoise. But it is nothing of the sort. In fact, the reality of the dispute goes far underneath what is being talked about. The more appropriate source of the dispute is ground water as well as surface water -- this is a war over water. The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the
