Earlier today, we learned about a bombshell report that said the CIA´s Benghazi talking points were changed 12 times, with extensive input from the State Department. It comes after State Department whistleblower Gregory Hicks testified Wednesday that he was shocked when he saw Susan Rice blaming a protest for the attack on numerous talk shows. Martha MacCallum discussed the next steps in the investigation of what happened in Benghazi with Hicks´ attorney, Victoria Toensing. At this point, she thinks "it´s about time" that House Republicans start issuing subpoenas,
Comments: This interview with Victoria Toensing is very interesting and informative, as usual.
Obama had secret meetings with the media about all this and the results are starting to show. The main theme is this is all about the 2014/16 elections and the story itself, has no real value. doubt most republicans could care less about Hillary running, whoever would take her place would probably be worse.
This is really nothing more than trying to expose obama and his corruption laden administration.
There´s more people who know about the gay basketball player than the butcher abortion doctor. I never even heard of the Ar. girl who was found guilty of murder last week but it bumped benghazi out of the news.
#2 I agree at first I dismissed the US allowing the capture of the Ambassador and exchange the blind sheik for him. But the fact that the Seals wouldn´t stand down as ordered lead the terrorists to believe they were doubled crossed which resulted in the attack and the death of the 4 Americans. Even if that could be proven nothing would happen. The msm and the Democrats would still defend Hillary, Obama and Panetta. But something just doesn´t smell right what happened.
The truth has to come out because Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty deserve nothing less. They fought and protected each for 7 hours waiting for America to come. No one came. Can you imagine how they felt when it dawned on them that they were completely alone, deserted by their leaders. Remember president obama called this a "blip in the road". How does one find the words to answer something like that.
Bring it on. The Clinton´s are the most interesting when they are cornered. No one deserves to be held accountable for their actions more. She has skated through too many scandals. Maybe it is time for her to pay the piper. I know that vengeance is The Lord´s, but it is too wrong to want to watch?
In addition to PIAPS, I would like to see a subpoena issued to The Boy King and anybody else who was around in the WH on the evening of 9/11/12 and all the "actors" in the event who were not on the scene, such as Petraeus, Panetta, Brennan, and the lying Susan Rice, the treacherous Huma, the state department girls, etc. Plus all those who were on the ground in Benghazi and those at AFCOM and the relevant U.S. bases that "couldn´t get there in time."
The photo shopped picture of Nixon and O. is very interesting. Morphed into a Nixon character is not a good thing. It is crucial to keep repeating, "no one died in Watergate". Perhaps that will reach the LoFoes.
A prediction...if Madame Hilda is issued a subpoena and placed under oath, look for her Senate appearance this time around to generate more coast-to-coast interest than the Senate Kefauver Organized Crime Hearings, in the early 1950s, when the "Godfather" of The Luciano/Genovese Crime Family, the late Frank "The Prime Minister Of The Underworld" Costello testified.
The comment pervasive in all these threads is that we are all missing something, i.e., the MO behind Stevens´s murder. I suspect it is something so hideous that we cannot fathom, some sort of deal between a witch (PIAPS) and a warlock (Barry) that is not discoverable through forensics. Someone will have to break (think John Dean) and be given immediate witness protection for the truth to be outed.

Quick show of hands, who thinks that the hildabeast will tell the truth when asked any questions? Crickets. Just as I thought.
In the Byzantine world of today´s Washington politics, getting the Hildebag to re-testify under oath might be the intention all along. These things don´t come out like a natural spring coming forth from the earth. Elements as poisoned and warped as the MSM don´t suddenly get an epiphany of truth. The PIAPS could be an obstacle to a third term that needs to be removed? Who knows?
This whole affair is pretty disgusting. But, hey, if there is value in letting it drag on into 2014/16 for purposes of purging congress and the executive branch of some dead wood and jug ears, I´m all for it. Not holding my breath, but a purge of the msm would be most useful.
#16 "The photo shopped picture of Nixon and O. is very interesting. Morphed into a Nixon character is not a good thing. It is crucial to keep repeating, "no one died in Watergate". Perhaps that will reach the LoFoes…”
I wish…but I’m afraid LoFoes don’t have the slightest idea who or what Watergate or Nixon was about. After all, that would have to be studied in history books for most of them, and we know how history is taught these days.
They need to set up a special commission like what was done with Nixon . That way the GOP´s can´t be blamed for a witch hunt , and as we all know , the socialist´s will all be howling about that . Already have , for that matter . Our King has cited GWB .
Do they have the guts to hunt the witch? That´s the question. In any case I think she would pull a Jesse Jackson Jr. and and suffer a mental breakdown before she would testify. Maybe she could give her testimony from the Chicago-Read Mental Health Center. Her life would make a great screenplay if there wasn´t so much tragedy in its wake.
The mother of one of the murdered ones said to a reporter-"we don´t even know how he died".Tthe Reporter asked "can´t the body be exhumed or examined?" The mother said "No, he was cremated" (that reporter was not seen on tv again). So who gave the order for cremation and doesn´t one think that re-routing the caskets to whereever Obama and Hill would go and them standing in front of caskets with an urn in them....maybe all bodies from the wars come back that way. But inquiring minds would like to know who gave that orderfor cremation of thise men and was there ever an autopsy done before?Sometimes autopsy is required by law if there is no doctor care continuous and chain of custody of the body can´t be established continuously
I want to see about 20 others testify first: all those State Dept. gals, Cheryl Mills, Pickering, McMullen, the Lt. Col that was told to stand down, etc. Last time Hillary totally out-foxed the Senate committee. They bloviated until their time expired and "unfortunately" Hillary had no time to answer. The Senators weren´t co-ordinated in their line of questioning at all!! They were amateurish coompared to Cong. Gowdy. Other than her "What difference" meltdown, she won that battle.
Waterboard Hill-err-ee-ass Herself and then send her to Gitmo.
The moisturizing facial will improve her looks. And on the Gitmo Diet, she´ll shed some of that ugly fat.
Too bad we can´t postpone her testimony under oath until, say, February 2016... Primay season for the DimWitch who wants to be the First Lesbian President. She needs all the free campaign publicity that we can give her. Not our fault if it happens to be somewhat negative... s/o
Btw, I´ve always suspected that Hill-err-ee-ass is suffering from subpoenas envy.
Calls that Republicans must “move to the center” reach a fever pitch every time the party loses a major election. No doubt the GOP needs to do a better job of appealing to women, younger voters and Hispanics, but it need not shed its principles. The media trope that the Republican Party is a “Star Wars” bar scene of theocrats and religious zealots by now has become a threadbare cliche. The Huffington Post said after the 2012 elections that the GOP resembles “a rump parliament of Caucasian traditionalism: white, married, churchgoing — to oversimplify only slightly.”
A new poll finds 77 percent of Americans support either delaying or repealing Obamacare´s individual mandate. The extensive survey of 2,076 registered voters found that 28 percent say the individual mandate that Americans purchase health insurance coverage should be delayed, while 49 percent say the mandate should be repealed entirely. Among those who favor delay or repeal of the mandate are 91 percent of Republicans, 77 percent of independents, and 65 percent of Democrats. The survey, conducted on behalf of the Morning Consult, also found that 50 percent of registered voters say they somewhat
A federal judge on Wednesday dismissed a lawsuit by immigration agents who challenged the Obama administration’s program that gives a reprieve from deportation to undocumented immigrants brought to the U.S. as minors. U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor, who earlier this year had expressed agreement with the agents’ contention that the deferred deportation program undermined their duty to enforce the law, said on Wednesday that it was not within his court’s jurisdiction to decide on what essentially is a dispute between federal employees and their employer, the U.S. government. President Obama implemented the program, called Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA
The National Organization for Women released their “gallery of worse offenders when it comes to women’s rights” in an email to supporters Thursday. All the offenders, according to NOW’s list, are Republicans. Noticeably absent from the gallery, however, are San Diego Democratic Mayor Bob Filner and New York City mayoral candidate Anthony Weiner. Eight women have accused Filner of sexual harassment, including inappropriate touching. Weiner recently admitted to continuing to engage in sexting even after resigning from Congress in 2011 for similar activities. Filner has refused to resign and Weiner says he is staying
WASHINGTON — If the Democrats are the Party of Treason, then the Republicans are the Party of Ingratitude. Tuesday night on Fox News, in a rare interview, Rush Limbaugh said the Republican Party establishment does not like the tea party because they cannot control the tea party. The Republican ingratitude towards the tea party gets even worse. John McCain, in an interview reported on yesterday in The Washington Times, said the tea party was damaging the Republican Party. Maybe the Republican Party needs some damaging. Perhaps it is time to remind McCain of a little history.
The thoroughly entertaining back and forth that erupted this week between New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) has captured the media’s attention and focused the political mind on 2016 like nothing has since the night President Barack Obama won reelection. It is hard not to view the two GOP officeholders’ heated war of words in the media through the prism of the Republican presidential primaries. Many conservatives have become so disillusioned with Christie, though, that they recoil at the thought of nominating him to be the party’s next presidential nominee.
Bill O’Reilly tonight faced off with Illinois state representative Monique Davis, who said on a radio show this week that many of her constituents have “suspicions” that Chicago police are gunning down black children. O’Reilly told Davis that she unfairly legitimized a “destructive” rumor, and that she had a responsibility in her role as an elected official not to say such garbage in the public eye. Davis insisted to O’Reilly that she wasn’t alleging anything, just repeating what constituents told her. O’Reilly pressed her on why she didn’t dismiss it as “crazy,” explaining that she has “credibility as
For years billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has been in a fight with Forbes Magazine over its estimation of his wealth and his position on the Forbes Billionaires list. He even sued the magazine over its 2013 ranking, which placed him #26 in the world. I guess all that expensive Photoshop work was for nothing. At odds in ranking his net worth is the value of his company, Kingdom Holdings Co. As a private equity firm, Kingdom Holdings has exposure to various management, real estate and financial services companies. It also invests in industrial and energy interests.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Newport News Police say a local rapper’s song helped link him to a cold case involving a double homicide in 2007. On May 10, 2007, officers were dispatched to the 23rd Street and Orcutt Avenue area for reports of shots fired. While en route, the call was upgraded to a shooting after a victim was found lying on a front porch in the 2300 block of Orcutt Avenue. That victim, identified as Brian Dean, suffered a gunshot wound to the head. Dean was unconscious but breathing and was taken to a local hospital.
All but one of the 24 healthcare co-ops funded by a $2 billion Obamacare program intended to create public competition for private sector insurers failed to file required tax returns, according to a Washington Examiner survey. The co-ops are required under federal law to file IRS Form 990 tax returns each year. The 990 is a public disclosure document that provides extensive financial information about the filing non-profit, including its sources of revenue, what it spends its funds on, and the compensation paid officers and key staff members.
A giddy Rep. Keith Ellison took to YouTube on Thursday, singing “This Land is Your Land” to celebrate the first day same-sex marriage was legal in his state of Minnesota, Talking Points Memo first reported. “Tomorrow, marry who you want, marry who you love,” the Democrat said after finishing the song. “It’s all going on tomorrow because people got involved, people got active, because people did not sit back and wait for something to happen nor did they cry about bad things that were happening.”
President Obama emerged from a meeting with Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi praising him for ushering in serious diplomatic reforms and pushing back against al Qaeda but pointedly did not announce an agreement to repatriate any Yemeni detainees from Guantanamo Bay. Under Hadi’s leadership, relations between the U.S. and Yemen have improved dramatically, Obama said, as the Yemeni people have worked to “produce a constitution and transition to a fully democratic government.” Obama also gave Hadi credit for cooperating with the U.S. on countering terrorism in the region and for helping to curtail al Qaeda’s influence in Yemen.
Mark Levin, who hosts one of America´s top radio talk shows and is considered by supporters to be the people´s pundit on the Constitution, is rallying his 8.5 million-strong audience to demand an historic convention of state governments to halt the "oppressive power" of the federal government. The author of two New York Times bestsellers on the threats to the Constitution, Levin hopes his latest, "The Liberty Amendments," out mid-August, will spark the state lawmakers to tap a rarely used Constitutional provision to institute measures that would brake President Obama´s use of executive orders, bar thousand-page laws and
The former commander of special operations in Northern Africa told a closed-door briefing today that he was largely detached from events the night of the Benghazi attack as he was traveling at the time. The testimony of Col. George H. Bristol, USMC, Former Commander, Joint Special Operations Task Force-Trans Sahara, Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command Africa, had been eagerly anticipated by members of Congress. Originally, lawmakers had been told by the Defense Department that he had retired — the actual date is Aug. 1, an “administrative error” according to the Pentagon — and that they didn’t have
FORNEY, Texas - George Zimmerman, the former Florida neighborhood watch leader cleared of all charges in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin, was pulled over for speeding in North Texas on Sunday, CBS DFW reports. According to the station, Zimmerman was armed when officers pulled him over on Highway 80 in Forney, east of Dallas. (Snip) The officer reportedly did not recognize Zimmerman, who was driving a Honda pickup. Zimmerman told the officer he was armed and was then told to put the weapon in his glove compartment, according to the station.
Arizona Sen. John McCain was the Republican Party´s 2008 presidential nominee and he still wants the keys to the Oval Office. But he is beginning to sound more like a fan of likely 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. "She´s a rock star," he said in a newly released interview. "She has, maybe not glamour, but certainly the aura of someone widely regarded throughout the world," he added in a reference to her work as secretary of State. McCain, reportedly trying to win back his reputation as a GOP maverick, was asked by the New Republic
Serial sexter Anthony Weiner’s wife partly blamed herself last year when her horndog husband confessed to her that he was at it again. Friends and family told People magazine that Huma Abedin was kicking herself at the time for bailing out of couples counseling and focusing more on their newborn baby boy. But, thanks to a new round of joint therapy that continues even now, the couple was able to put the relapse behind them. “They really became a unit, and she feels much closer to Anthony now,” a relative told the magazine. That’s a long way from how Abedin
President Obama has been rolling up his sleeves campaigning across the country delivering a surreal stump speech message supposedly aimed at the middle class: big government works, Obamacare is manna from heaven, the wave of recent scandals are “phony” figments of the imagination, and all economic problems are the fault of the Republicans. Conveniently, he leaves out the bankruptcy of Detroit, a city run by his own party for more than half a century. His message is so stale and unconvincing, that even The New York Times and Washington Post have noticed. Both papers, usually loyal to Obama, remarked that
Gotta figure her lead would be even bigger without Joe Miller in the field here. Her nomination for the taking? Alaska should be a top tier pick up opportunity for Senate Republicans next year…but their top choice of a candidate is Sarah Palin. 36% of GOP primary voters in the state say they’d like Palin to be their standard bearer against Mark Begich to 26% for Mead Treadwell, 15% for Dan Sullivan, and 12% for Joe Miller.
Embattled Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner and an attorney in the Federal Election Commission’s general counsel’s office appear to have twice colluded to influence the record before the FEC’s vote in the case of a conservative non-profit organization, according to e-mails unearthed by the House Ways and Means Committee and obtained exclusively by National Review Online. The correspondence suggests the discrimination of conservative groups extended beyond the IRS and into the FEC, where an attorney from the agency’s enforcement division in at least one case sought and received tax information about the status of a conservative group,
Sen. John McCain — a Democrat? There was confusion Wednesday after the Arizona Republican mistakenly strolled into President Obama’s meeting with Senate Democrats at the Capitol. The room full of Democrats — who happened to be meeting in the same room where the Senate GOP usually holds their weekly policy luncheons — erupted in applause and laughter as the former Republican presidential candidate made his entrance. As McCain, 76, walked out of the Dem-filled space, reporters pressed him as to why he stepped foot in the room.
In preparation for the release of Oscar-bait film The Butler, Forest Whitaker, Oprah Winfrey, and director Lee Daniels (Precious) sat down with Parade magazine. The film chronicles a butler (Whitaker) who works in the White House through seven administrations. Winfrey plays the butler’s wife. In the interview, Winfrey explained her sadness that so few Americans know about the history of the civil rights movement: “They don’t know diddly-squat. Diddly-squat.” She then said of the historic use of the n-word, “I always think of the millions of people who heard that as their last
Colin Powell has admitted to exchanging ´very personal´ emails with a Romanian diplomat but denies having an affair with the much younger woman after a hacker threatened to release their intimate messages. The 76-year-old retired general told the Smoking Gun that he met Corina Cretu, 45, roughly 10 years ago when she was working as an assistant to the president of Romania. She is now a member of the European Parliament. ´After I left the Department of State in January 2005 we stayed in touch via email,´ he told TSG.
If we learned anything about Barack Obama in his first term it is that when he starts repeating the same idea over and over, what´s on his mind is something else. The first term´s over-and-over subject was "the wealthiest 1%." Past some point, people wondered why he kept beating these half-dead horses. After the election, we knew. It was to propagandize the targeted voting base that would provide his 4% popular-vote margin of victory—very young voters and minorities. They believed. He won. The second-term over-and-over, elevated in his summer speech tour, is the shafting of the middle class. But
