Hillary Clinton — culpable for
Benghazi from beginning to end

Power Line, by Paul Mirengoff

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 5/7/2013 5:14:14 AM

When it first became clear that the CIA’s Benghazi talking points had been altered, many of us viewed the White House as the prime suspect. After all, it served President Obama’s political purposes to claim, at the height of a political campaign in which he was taking credit for the fall of al Qaeda, that the death of a U.S. ambassador was down to spontaneous outrage over a video, rather than pre-planned terrorism. It turns out, however, that the State Department was the prime culprit. It was State that pushed back hard against the original talking points.

sadly - I agree with the author. In three years no one will be able/willing to remember
the Benghazi fiasco. she will run and I´d bet a buck she will win. Republicans just don´t have it to criticize her in ways that would ensure her loss.

well, maybe Ted Cruz...

As I posted before Hillary treated Benghazi like it was one of Bill´s bimbo eruptions. Hide the truth political careers are more important than the safety of people and I am waiting for the "vast right wing conspiracy" theory to explain the Republican investigation into what happened. I thought I would never see the day when those in control of our Government would abandon American citizens under attack by terrorists. It is a very sad, shameful day. What is even worse is the msm and the Democrats will do whatever they can to protect Hillary and Obama. They are all disgusting.

If Hillary is smart [and that is a big ´if´], then she would be sitting on documentation that shows that she was ordered from the top to misstate the reasoning behind the attacks. She could derail this presidency and boost her own chances, all in one fell swoop. Otherwise, she is toast.

No, No, No... A thousand times No! It was not incompetence, but willful denial of military assistance to Americans in need.

She needs to be tried for murder.
She is a cold, calculating woman.... And Power is her drug of choice.

We do not know if Ambassador Stevens was complicit in gun running to Syria.... We do know that something went off script...

When clinton and obama met the bodies on returning to the USA, SHE, at least, looked sickened and upset. He looked bored and late for an important date. I guess, in retrospect, Benghazi has proven to be the 3 a.m. call that neither person was qualified to answer. And hillary has always been a powerful man´s tool. She might pay the price for this awful event, but obama, useless boy child that he is, will skate free.

When Obama heard about the attack he disappeared at 5 pm and wasn´t heard from again until the next morning. What kind of CINC does that when one of his ambassadors is under attack? What kind of man?

Who denied permission for international border crossing? Isn´t that required by the President?

Hillary is expendable if the progressives have another presidential candidate in mind, and they will not hesitate to throw her under the bus. If, however, they circle the wagons, you can bet she will run for president with their full support. They know they can use sexism as a political tool with her as well as they did racism with Obama.

A few observations:

John Kerry now has the keys to all the closets at State that contain Hillary´s secrets.

Ronald Reagan was 69 when he was elected to his first term.

John Kerry will be only 72 in 2016.

John Kerry is capable of noticing all of the above himself.

These are political pig criminals especially Hillary Clinton.
George Bush would have sent troops and support no matter the political consequences. Cheney and Rumsfeld would have backed him. These were American men first and leaders that Americans around the world should be able to count on.
I detest the fact that they gave the order to stand down then went to bed. All for the purpose of political gain and the war on terror is over and Bin Laden was dead.
Hillary´s cavalier attitude in the hearing was dispicible and criminal.
For weeks they professed a made up video to cover the murders up. I´m surprised they didn´t call the terrorist ´movie critics´.

Sunday night, the National Geographic channel ran an episode on the real story behind the Oscar winning movie, Argo. . What I found so unsettling is that in 1979 a CIA operative took the initiative to hatch some convuluted plan to rescue those six(?) American diplomats and yet, Benghazi, Libya 2012 - 10 years+ into the war on terror and 2 years+ after the death of Osama bin Laden and nothing....

I also think the WH had State change the talking points - Obama, as the first Black president has a historical reputataion to protect, Hillary - not so much. She´s been used and abused by men for so long, why stand up to any now?

A story:
"I was in the attack on the American stronghold. We had received word from our Washington cutout that the Ambassador would be there along with many leaders directing the running of arms to Al Qaeda in Syria, Northern Africa and to America to continue jihad. It was now time to end this operation, and there must be no witnesses to it. We were assured there would be no resistance. We were evidently lied to, because a contingency force arrived killing many of our men. And we were unable to finish the mission of total elimination of the Americans. We were told there would be a stand down order, but it must have not been carried out. However, because of the operation, we now have chemical weapons, rockets and more to not only use in Syria, but America itself."

She´ll run in 2016, and the GOP pansies won´t have the balls to even bring it up, much less call her on it.

#27: Oscar winning movie? Did you or anyone else who saw that movie notice that they conveniently left out the fact that the trigger point for the seizure of the US Embassy in Iran was Jimmy Carter giving refuge to the Shah in the United States? Lies by omission. The Argo beginning narrative, obviously told by an Arab-sounding female, said it was allll the United States fault for overthrowing Iranian leaders over time and that was the only issue. Way to go Ben Aflac, right?! Quack quack-democrat donkey kissing movie.

If the Republicans at the hearings are smart they will avoid grandstanding, and steer the testimony into implicating that Hillary is completely culpable. Then provide her with the opportunity to testify under oath to clear her "reputation." She´ll either self-destruct (good) or blame Obama (better).

House Republicans: get your "A" game together. Name a former prosecutor in your midst as primary inquisitor, and all cede your time to him so he has more time to develop a condemning narrative.

Well, the GOP has had it´s campaign strategy against the Shrill One handed to them on a silver platter. Want to know what a Hillary Administration would look like? Just look at the mess she made running the State Department! I´ve always said that Hillary is a mediocrity who only got where she is today because of the men in her life, and the fact is she´s accomplished very little with the opportunities handed to her. Had her husband not been President, would she have ever been a US Senator or taken seriously as a Presidential candidate? And if that hadn´t made her such a threat to Oblunder, would he have ever made her Secretery of State? Don´t think so! If feminists are looking for an icon or a role model, they need to look elsewhere. Riding her mens´ coattails doesn´t qualify Shrillary for the role.

Hillary & Obama are not the problem - "we the people" are brainwashed, over protected & spiritually degenerate. Hillary will be very dangerous in the 2016 election for the GOP - she flies under the radar & is a total "globalist" as are most politicians & ALL presidents since Ronald Reagan. Devil´s ace trump is to get the world "to sing in perfect harmony" but he is being stopped by conservatives,WWII veterans & a few pastors who are still teaching the truth - not "holy roller" but truth unemotionally from the Greek & Hebrew. America has forgotten our great past & only a few still stand in the gap. God bless those conservatives, war heroes,Tea Party, ones who stand when our flag goes by & people who remember how to sing our National Anthem with tears rolling down their cheeks!! Benghazi won´t affect Hillary´s chances--2016 is an eternity away and Americans have no attention span. There is also zero evidence that, had the administration told the truth about Benghazi on Sept 12th, it would have helped Romney, either. In fact after the seoond debate, Romney´s brief rise in the polls after the first debate subsided, and Romney was toast before Hurricane Sandy.

Benghazi was immediately covered up, ignored and lied about for two reasons:

First, so as not to rock the boat just before the Election, so to not jeopardize Blessed Hussein´s second term.

Second, so as not to jeopardize the PETUIATE´s long-delayed Election in 2016.

The clumsy changing of the talking points was all to these two ends. The subsequent continual flow of BS, same.

When push comes to shove, expect Obama will gleefully toss PIAPS under the bus, opening the way for Michelle in 2016.

The answer to Hitlary, is one good person running for office in the next presidential election. Unless Washington run a crook like McCain again, or a silent model like Mitt, the only chance America with current isane politics, is to produce a successful guy who knows about freedom, the free market, and who is not afraid to open all the closed business doors to all people.
Inspiring working pople to get non working peope back to work would be revolutionary.
It´s time for each psitiv citizen to confront each negative taking citizen, one on one might be our only last chance. All good Americans need to speak up !

In a serious society, Obama (and if he didn´t know- yeah, right- his national security adviser & chief of staff), Clinton, Patraeus, Panetta and Dempsey are guilty of criminal negligence in the deaths of Stevens, Smith, Doherty and Woods and would go to federal prison for a very long time. They are also guilty of lying to the American people about this whole sordid mess. As we are no longer a serious society, all of these criminals will walk away from this.

Hillary Clinton is no more an abused and used by men all her life victim than a black widow spider.
She had no skills just ambition and the Nixon issue gave her the perfect foil in Bill Clinton. Both congressional interns --she with no charm or personality and Bill the charming product of a whore House upbringing willing and able. She is the user who found a home in the progressive movement. She knew the nation would not hire a woman as president so she blackmailed every dem possible to elect Bill.
Over confidant she could wipe out Obama she blundered herself under the bus wheels.
Hill and Obe schemed and lied while Americans died.

Expert Was Needed to Disable
Malaysia Airlines Jet Systems

If multiple communication systems aboard Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 were manually disabled, as investigators increasingly suspect happened, it would have required detailed knowledge of the long-range Boeing Co. 777´s inner workings. The first loss of the jet´s transponder, which communicates the jet´s position, speed and call sign to air traffic control radar, would require disabling a circuit breaker above and behind an overhead panel. Pilots rarely, if ever, need to access the circuit breakers, which are reserved for maintenance personnel.Pulling one specific circuit breaker, which is labeled, would render inoperative both of the 777´s transponders, according to documents reviewed by

Rick Perry writing story

Two years after his whirlwind, presidential campaign ended with a thud, Rick Perry is writing the story of his comeback. And when he strode onstage at the Conservative Political Action Conference this month, he appeared to believe in the narrative. “I am here today to say we don’t have to accept recent history,” Perry bellowed, bringing a still-groggy morning crowd to its feet. “We just have to change the presidency.” For months, Perry -- the three-term Texas governor who walked in late to the prior Republican presidential primary as an instant, if short-lived, front-runner -- has deliberately tried to position

One of the best ways to survive the grotesque and empty power pageantry of Washington´s annual State of the Union extravaganza is by visiting the University of California, Santa Barbara´s online archive of past addresses and looking up the speeches that corresponded to where the current POTUS sits in his term.(Snip)As president, Obama has consumed Reagan biographies as vacation reading material. Last week, the U.S. Tenth Circuit decided a case that should reverberate on Capitol Hill. In Kerr v. Hickenlooper, five Colorado legislators sought “standing” to challenge a state constitutional amendment. The three-judge panel — consisting of Carter and Clinton appointees — ruled in favor of the legislators’ standing. This decision should embolden members of Congress who correctly believe that President Obama has encroached upon Congress’ constitutional authority. Indeed, Congress should do no less in defending its authority than the five Colorado state legislators. Many members of Congress believe that numerous presidential actions — delaying various provisions of the Affordable Care

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) laid out a compelling case today that American and NATO involvement in Afghanistan since the 2001 invasion has been a boon for that country’s people. Donald Sampler of the Afghanistan office at USAID told a House hearing Thursday about the substantial improvements to life expectancy, education, and infrastructure. Some of those include: Life expectancy increased from 42 to 62 years old. ? In 2001, 800,000 Afghan children were enrolled in school; none of them were girls. Today, there are close to 8 million students in school, and one third of them are girls. ? 90 percent of

John Paul Jones, the ‘Father of the American Navy,’ led Catherine the Great’s 18th-century occupiers, before a sex scandal chased him out of the empire. The first time Russia conquered the Crimean Peninsula and fought a war so that its gains would be internationally recognized, it relied, in part, on an American hero. In 1788, John Paul Jones, “the Father of the American Navy” who captained the USS Bonhomme Richard in its famous victory over the HMS Serapis at Flamborough Head, fought the Ottoman Empire on behalf of Catherine the Great—as Kontradmiral Pavel Ivanovich Jones—and helped Russia maintain its control of the

MEDFORD, Mass.— Colleges are paying students to take a year off after high school to travel, volunteer or do internships so that students of all income brackets can benefit from ‘‘gap years.’’ A new program at Tufts University and existing ones at a handful of other schools aim to remove the financial barriers that can keep cash-strapped students from exploring different communities and challenge their comfort zones before jumping right into college. The gap year program starting this fall at Tufts will pay for housing, airfare and even visa fees, which can often add up to $30,000 or more. Although gap years are

President Obama has no business experience. For most people, that might incline one to modesty. Not this president. To the contrary, he believes he knows how an auto company should be run, what policies health-insurance companies should offer, the wages, say, a part-time worker in a family restaurant should receive and what banks should pay in bonuses. Now the president has found a new area in which to intervene. Yesterday he directed his Labor Department to make millions of salaried managers eligible for overtime pay. Under existing rules, employers must pay overtime to salaried workers earning less than $455 a week. Though

P erhaps the worst sin of the GOP during the Obama era has been the party´s lack of interest in serious, innovative policy. Thanks to the notion that opposing the White House was enough of an agenda, and the inchoate enthusiasm of the Tea Party, the GOP, it seemed, was great at sound and fury but had no ideas. Anything the GOP did manage to propose was either an old idea from the ´80s, just plain awful, or (most often) both. If this narrative seems familiar, it´s because left-of-center pundits have been hammering these ideas for years. And they were

Working as an informant for the ATF is a dangerous job; just ask Dave Jackson. His involvement in an undercover operation to take down Virginia drug dealer James Robert Hackley almost cost him his life. After Hackley landed in jail for selling drugs, Jackson found himself on the wrong side of a dangerous criminal. From behind bars, Hackley began asking other inmates to recommend a good hit man to

To steal Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 out of midair would require a pilot who knew how to elude detection by both civilian and military radar. It would take a runway at least a mile long to land the wide-body jet, possibly in the dark, and a hangar big enough to hide it. All without being seen. Improbable but not impossible, experts say. With the search for the missing airliner entering its eighth day, scenarios involving piracy or hijacking are increasingly being talked about as possible explanations for the disappearance of the Boeing 777 with 239 people on board. Authorities say they´re not ruling

The maker of Sam Adams beer announced Friday that it is withdrawing its sponsorship of Boston´s St. Patrick´s Day parade because organizers exclude gay groups. Fertility is the missing chapter in sex education. Sobering facts about women’s declining fertility after their 20s are being withheld from ambitious young women, who are propelled along a career track devised for men. The refusal by public schools’ sex-education programs to acknowledge gender differences is betraying both boys and girls. The genders should be separated for sex counseling. It is absurd to avoid the harsh reality that boys have less to lose from casual serial sex than do girls, who risk pregnancy and whose future fertility can be compromised by disease. Boys need lessons in basic ethics and moral reasoning

US officials believe that two communications systems aboard Malaysian Airlines flight 370 were shut down separately, 14 minutes apart - which indicates the plane did not come down because of a sudden catastrophic failure. The data reporting system was shut down at 1.07 am and the transponder was turned off at 1.21 am just after the the pilot signed off to Malaysian air traffic controllers with ´All right, good night,´ and before the Boeing 777 apparently changed course and turned west. According to investigators this indicated that the switch-off could have been a deliberate act and officials told ABC News that the

House Democrats again targeted the controversial Issa on Thursday, with a bid to force the California Republican to publicly apologize for what they dub his “repeated history of abuse” toward the minority party. In case you hadn’t heard, young people these days — a.k.a “the Millennials” — are the most cynical and distrusting generation ever recorded. Only 19 percent think most people can be trusted. According to a big study from the Pew Research Center, they are less attached to marriage, religion, and political institutions than Gen Xers, Baby Boomers, and the other demographic flavors journalists love to use. They like their friends, their digital “social networks,” and their toys, and that’s about it. Not even a majority will call themselves “patriotic.” Probably more dismaying for liberals: Of any living generation, they are
