We now have had a number of terrorist attacks on the homeland -- though the administration often refers to them in ridiculous euphemisms like "workplace violence" -- and the behavior of the administration, including our lavishly funded FBI and Homeland Security Administration, and our richly rewarded media stars remains so predictable I´ve decided to spare you the time it takes to unravel the unending lies and poppycock we are regularly fed about these horrors, lies, and blundering that only increase our danger. This week´s bombing of civilians at the Boston Marathon in which three people, including an 8-year-old child,
The left can run but it can´t hide from the public´s curiosity about this. So they´ve gone into trying to mitigate the damage.Their main concern is these bomers were somehow related to alqueda, hich would change the entire conversation. Right now they can still claim the love wolf meme.
The FBI is probably being told to look busy but don´t get too serious.
Some years ago, up here in a mall in MA, we had a man running around shooting a gun. The police eventually arrested him. A few years later he came to trial. Found guilty, he is serving out his sentence. Only the people sitting in the court and a local paper reported that the shooter was yelling allah akbar and, when his home was searched, they found a lot of jihad evidence. But here in MA, we don´t count that as terrorism. And the public had lost interest in the case.
Please read this very special article by Clarice Feldman to the very end. Her comments re the saga of Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi are priceless. Agree with other posters that this should be considered a ´Must Read´.
The anti-Islamophobia lobby poses as the implacable opponent of bigotry, yet it spreads a bigoted view of ordinary white folk as so volatile, so brimming with fury, that they are one terrorist bombing away from transforming into an anti-Muslim pogrom.
It´s never the perp´s fault where the Left is concerned. Blame the victim and find out what he did to provoke the perp. That´s justice.
Americans are attacked and, in return, are warned by their president to behave. Obama used that formula to defend the proposed mosque at Ground Zero, saying it was important that "we stay focused on who we are as a people and what our values are all about." Apparently, the president sees the Constitution as a suicide pact.
Why did we on the Right know this even before Obama got elected while the Left blinded itself by his blackness and their Bush-hatred?
The collective media is also embarrassingly ignorant and lazy. They don´t know their history, and even if some in the media did know their history, they wouldn´t dare share the bloodied history of Islam. A "religion" that began at the tip of the sword and has stayed there ever since. And, they´re lazy because it is much easier to write puff piece about a Justin Beiber baby-faced bomber than to actually do a little digging into the darkness of Islam and how the radical strand of Islam turns young men into mass murderers and terrorists.
Most defendants in heinous crimes show up in court shorn, shaved and dressed in a nice suit, but what it really comes down to is simply a wolf in sheep´s clothing. That´s what some in the news business would have us think of Societies nastiest insects.
#7 is right the msm is doing an Alinsky on whites, the angry white conservative male is to be blamed for all threats we face as a country. McCain and Rubio want to give amnesty to 30 million illegals just like the Tsarnaev brothers. We will not survive as a Republic. The bombings in Boston are part of Ted Kennedy´s 1965 immigration act which allows uneducated, low skilled, non Christian, non white, often immoral immigrates from third world hell holes to flood into our country. Highly educated, talented and entrepreneurial applicants wait years. God help us!
FTA: "In the years since 9/11, the American public has been admirably tolerant towards Muslim communities." Tolerant? Americans elected a Muslim as President. "there are pictures of Michelle Obama visiting Alharbi in his hospital room" We need to hear more about this but of course we won´t.
OK, Clarice has given us a brilliant compilation of new talking points and indictments. After these "pieces" -- why am I still hungry? We know, even more than is expressed here, what the media is: a fifth column, a bunch of water carriers. We know what we have with this administration: interpreters of some far Left hidden truth blamers of a people with a capitalist Christian Constitution, fronted by a smug, ineligible marxist-muslim who games the system everyday to break it in "pieces." We, some of us, have gone to this: that everything in our time comes down to politics, where everyone must see through a prism of left or right politics, and that some of the politics is Evil, along with the practitioners. What is avoided, even in a well-truffled "piece" like this is: given the politics and cover up is Evil, why and whence has it come? Is it a spiritual cancer we have, and can the spiritual -- the good and evil context -- forever be avoided in discourse? Can truth ever have meaning if we do not take back the language and define what it is? If not, why not? Is it Fear of Fear Itself? Finally, can the crushing weight of this Evil lead to our demise? Will there be an answer from the brightest among us, an awakening from the children Abraham and those who scribble whose names are written in the Good Book -- or do we ... let it be?
He nails it on the idea of the media turning murderers into heroes. This can be seen as far back as the Bonnie and Clyde move where these seedy low lifes were portrayed as superstars. A friend of mine had a father who was a police chief in east Texas when the movie came out. Back then there were still people around who knew the real Bonnie and Clyde and some of the police officers they murdered. To say the least the law enforcement community was both saddened and outraged by positive portrayal of B&C verses the negative petulant way the law was.
Clarice is right about Texas. Richardson is frequently called "Dearborn." The giant mosques and the huge Islam center in Plano is exactly what Wallid Shoebat described would happen long before it did. They are training here in small cells being cocooned by the moderate looking shell. It´s so moronic but we blandly let them and "celebrate" them as the black burqua´d slaves walk through the Targets, Wal-Marts and Home Depots as if to teach us Christian white haters a better way. We richly deserve to be bombed and we will continue to be by these cells of Islamic jihadists, encouraged by none other than Homeland Security. Even a GOP president, Congress and judiciary will still buckle to this PC nonsense. Their plan is going much better and much faster than they ever dreamed.
In hindsight(because we are in fact now "dead country walking"), the fatal flaw in the otherwise brilliant concept of the America of our founders is that they never in their wildest dreams thought it was possible for a free people to vote in their own enslavers. Why? How was it made possible?
Well, that would be because the traitors among us diabolically discovered that you can easily win elections by simply importing millions of non-free people and giving them stuff for free. And...oh wait...they´re about to import 30,000,000 more of them...just to make sure.
Lincoln freed the slaves. Obama enslaved the free. Yes, he will go down in history.
And yes, a civil war is in fact the only path to freedom in both cases, since they´ve made sure it´s no longer possible via the no longer sacrosanct and illegally stuffed ballot box.
I got a perfect example last night while viewing the McLauglin show of the libbie line on PBS. Eleanor Clift -- the ranting liberal was defending the poor kid -- who was self/radicalized by the internet in his mother´s kitchen.
Some how she wanted to make the audience believe that WE "bad Americans with our technology" had been the problem.
Poor kid had a tough childhood growing up in America being the "outsider".
I wanted to send my television flying out my den window....
These liberals will continue working to down/grade the Boston Bombing. Don´t you let it happen Boston...
You lost some precious citizens and it´s time WE the people defend them -- just as the justice department thanks to courage/less holder sent in the lawyer to stop the weasel telling to much to the FBI. Not that I believe any information the FBI got would have surfaced. Between the White House and the press -- it gets dismissed with a "there there America -- we´ll handle this"....
NO -- no more. WE the people will handle our own protection....One for all and all for one....
Schmutzli Today 02:36 AM We have arrived at the end of the "tolerance and diversity" road, which is anarchy. Every governmental outrage is met with the same weeping and gnashing of teeth on Conservative websites, but Barack Hussein Obama has twice been elected preezy (please, no complaints about stolen elections, nothing is done about those either), Eric the Red Holder is still attorney general, and Janet Napolitano is still employed. The courts and bureaucracy are loaded with fellow travelers, and they will be there for decades. The media is a lost cause, no longer even worth talking about. The language is lost, the borders are open, America´s enemies are apologized to and financially funded by the federal government, free healthcare will be rationed healthcare, and all that is left to wonder about is when and what the next marxist outrage will be. Something is very wrong when a country is controlled by a government that clearly wants to terrorize and enslave its own citizens under the guise of "fundamental change", and so obviously rushes "forward" to bankrupt and destroy it before a manufactured crisis of any sort is allowed to be wasted. I want so badly to be wrong,...
groman Today 07:46 AM If and when the full history of this odious administration is written, Americans will realize we were led by a cabal of traitors. Fed and watered by a subservient media and educational establishment. "Opposed" by feckless political hacks who claimed the mantle of conservatism but who in fact were only concerned with their own place at the table of power and privilege. God help us.
#2 I can only imagine what John Adams, John Quincy Adams, and Samuel Adams would say about what is going on in Massachusetts. My heart breaks when I think of the history of the Bay State and how indifferent the people now are to that rich history.
Ironically, the street on which the Boston Marathon bombings took place was named after the Boylston family. Susanna Boylston, John Adams´ mother, was a member of one of the colony´s leading medical families. Thank God Boston has such outstanding medical facilities - many more marathoners may have died if not for the Boston hospitals.
Another irony about the recent bombings is the Boston Massacre of 1770 in which there was a street confrontation and the British soldiers killed five civilians.
My point is that the current "Boston Massacre" may be the impetus much like the 1770 Boston Massacre which helped to start the Revolutionary War. As Thomas Paine wrote: These are the times that try men´s souls.
Clarice so often described in the article the restraint that has been shown by Americans, here-to-fore, when it has been so obvious that Muslim extremists are responsible for the acts of terror in the last five years. There has been such a low back-lash that the figures are almost laughable.
The good people of America are only going to tolerate the preposterous accusations by the MSM and this Administration for a little while longer. So many innocents have been maimed or killed by the unwarranted attacks on normal people going about their normal activities that "We the People" are going to have our say and it can´t be restrained much longer, I pray.
These two Islamic terrorists were very dangerous people as they beforehand planned and were willing to indiscriminately murder and maim Americans in the name of Islam, common sense tells you that, no matter how much the liberal left attempts to minimize their criminal actions.
Luckily for the USA the terrorists were very stupid, and essentially presented both their identities and overwhelming evidence of their guilt when they allowed themselves to be caught by various video surveillance cameras as soon as they appeared on Boylston Street. If those terrorists had been smarter and had say the night beforehand placed their bombs on the walls of buildings above the street aiming down into those crowds they could have easily murdered hundreds of innocent Americans.
Terrorism is covered up, lied about, and endlessly spun as anything else. It advances the liberal/democrat agenda of softening the people up to be controlled.
Our liberal betters will get rid of the Muslim freaks as soon as they are no longer of use. The way things are going, we´ll soon have only two choices: Having every detail of our lives controlled by self-righteous jerks, or getting useful bits of our bodies blown off.
We allow ourselves, our friends and families to be killed by not standing up against these "investigations´" and against all the PC BS.
When there is a community of more than 400,000 muzzles in one State (the equivalent population to a major American city, we have been infiltrated. I pray we never see the day they all get the signal to burn our cities.
No matter that their men push their carts into us at Sam´s Club in the meantime, it´s more important to be PC. S/o IHLG
As Robert Spencer wrote today, "Islam IS ISLAM". There is only one Islam. It´s all right there in the Koran, violence in 63 places, the rules of Islam. It´s a political ideology that combines religion as one. Killing is an ideological religious act. Our Islam acting president cannot speak out freely on this subject. Most of our press are ideologically confined to socialism and Marxism, also a militant, coercive belief system, almost a religion. In fact Dennis Prager made a wonderful statement a few months ago, that Marxism is the most popular religion (I think he meant in the West) because in our society catholics, protestants, bhudists, jews, all worship communism. Something like that. Corrections to follow! No matter how many peaceful, wonderful, productive Muslims there are out there, they are all subject to the rules of Islam.
On Sept. 11 2011 three Jewish men were murdered Al-Aqueda style throats slit yet none of the reportage from the time of the murders suggests the police considered Islamists.
Tamerlin, who claimed to be "best friends" with one of the victims, not only failed to show up at the funeral but a few months later was off to Dagestan- At which point Russian police were sending us repeated warnings.
I would assert that if at any point the murder investigation connected the dots with the Russian intel (or vice versa) then Tamarlin would have been so closely watched that he could not have executed the Boston bombing.
Willful blindness in the service of political correctness contributed to this massacre and the MSM is still playing the fool on this aspect of the crimes.
I have said for some time we need to be on the Press like flies to manure. We are always encouraged to write our Congressmen/ladies and Senators. So why not write all the correspondents and Editors in Chiefs. Let them know we are out here and watching them like watching a child molester at a public park.
We have to shame them hard and swift. Let them know they can´t roam in public and continue to lie to the people. Make them answer for their words and why they are anti-american traitors.
I forgot to mention, I write them in letters rather than email. They can´t trace you to retaliate that way. With regional Post Offices they don´t always postmark with your town, but where the region P.O. is located. Or you could drive over to the next town and mail it (if not too far).
We hear relatively often these days about the large and growing Muslim communities in major European cities. Less frequently a subject of media attention in the U.S., however, is an equally significant phenomenon: the asylum centers that dot the landscape in many countries. In Norway alone, with a total population of only five million, there are a hundred or so such establishments around the country, some of them in largish cities, some in rural hamlets. In these centers reside individuals of foreign origin, mostly from the Muslim world, who are awaiting decisions about their applications for asylum. The places aren’t
Federal airline security oversight has a long track record of failure. Few people know that prior to Sept. 11, 2001, four different federal agencies -- the FBI, CIA, FAA and INS -- were entrusted to protect commercial airlines. They clearly did not do their jobs. Why, then, has the federal government further nationalized the process? After the 2001 terrorist attacks, Congress rushed to create a new agency to protect America´s planes, trains and trucks. The Transportation Security Administration enabled the federal government to control the screening of passengers and baggage at all but five of the 429 U.S. commercial airports. Eleven
David Horowitz: I had this idea. Well, the first thing is that I didn’t want to duplicate what was already being well done on the right. But one of the things — there were a couple of things that I saw missing. One was addressing the culture that the Left had infiltrated and subverted. I picked three areas where the Left had made their major gains. One was public broadcasting, another was education, and the third was Hollywood. That’s how I began thinking — where does the Right need some force? Now, the second was I saw that conservatives are, as
The leftward tilt of American universities is a nightmare. But at least American college students have places to turn to – groups like the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, and websites like Minding the Campus – when things get blatantly unjust or just plain unbearable. But what can college students in a country like the Netherlands do when they want to push back against professorial PC? Meet Yernaz Ramautarsing. Born in the former Dutch colony of Surinam in 1987, he was raised in Amsterdam – and grew up into a political junkie and a solid left-winger. “I was terribly left-wing,”
This is not a return to Diana West’s book. However, Andy McCarthy, a man for whom I have very great respect and whom I like very much, has written a review of it in The New Criterion that, because of its revisionist presentation of a number of historical events, is among the most discouraging political documents I have read in many years. (Snip) First is Andy McCarthy’s view that the scandalous, cowardly refusal of the mainstream elite of American culture and politics to recognize that America’s Islamist enemies are enemies can be traced to Soviet infiltration of the U.S. government
Amy (not her real name) sat in my office and wiped her streaming tears on her sleeve, refusing the scratchy tissues I’d offered. (Snip) It became increasingly difficult to balance school, socializing, laundry, and a part-time job. She finally had to dump the part-time job, was still unable to do laundry, and often stayed up until 2 a.m. trying to complete homework because she didn’t know how to manage her time without her parents keeping track of her schedule. I suggested finding a job after graduation, even if it’s only temporary. She cried harder at this idea. “So, becoming an
Nobody should be surprised that President Obama´s Department of Health and Human Services has proposed a new bailout for insurers. Whenever Obama sees a problem, he proposes a regulation. When that regulation hurts someone, he proposes a subsidy. That subsidy, in turn, justifies a new tax or regulation, then more bailouts. It may seem like he’s swinging back and forth — pro-business, then anti-business — but he’s marching in a straight line: more state control of industry. It´s the ratchet of state corporatism, and Obama is pretty handy with it. Health insurers and the federal government were intertwined in a web of subsidies
A Congressional Research Service (CRS) report shows that while gun ownership climbed from 192 million firearms in 1994 to 310 million firearms in 2009, crime fell—and fell sharply. According to the report, the "firearm-related murder and non-negligent homicide" rate was 6.6 per 100,000 Americans in 1993. Following the exponential growth in the number of guns, that rate fell to 3.6 per 100,000 in 2000. This rate rose from 2004 to 2005 and got as high as 3.9 in 2006 and 2007, but it then resumed falling in 2008, the year the Supreme Court ruled in District of Columbia v. Heller that individual
The first glimpse of how Richard III could be reburied has been revealed, with the service to be shaped by the scholarly detective work of an Oxford University academic. Alexandra Buckle, from St Anne´s and St Hilda´s colleges, has reconstructed how an authentic medieval reburial service should be conducted. (Snip) Richard III, found by archaeologists last autumn below a Leicester car park, would have attended such reburials in his own lifetime, including for his own father. And when this last king of the Plantagenet dynasty is reburied next year, with Leicester Cathedral the planned resting place, Dr Buckle´s discovery is likely to form an
When President Franklin D. Roosevelt proposed in his Second Bill of Rights that having a job is a right, the squire of Hyde Park unwittingly ushered in the era of White Trash Normal, the subject of my new book. With apologies to FDR, a job is not a right. How could it be? Obtaining and holding down a job are instead obligations unless a trust fund (now, that’s my idea of a right!?) relieves you of such mundane concerns. It seems that that many recent college grads agree with President Roosevelt, however. Indeed, many have not bothered to cultivate the social
Saturday the 7th of December will mark the seventy-second anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. (Snip) A glance at one of the nation’s leading high-school literature textbooks—Prentice Hall’s The American Experience, which has been aligned to the Common Core—will tell us how we are doing on that front. The opening page of the slim chapter devoted to World War II called “War Shock” features a photograph of a woman inspecting a large stockpile of thousand-pound bomb castings. The notes in the margins of the Teacher’s Edition set the tone: In this section, nonfiction prose and a single stark poem etch into
Remember the terrible murder of Matthew Shepard in Laramie, Wyo. in 1998 -- tortured, beaten and left hanging on a fence to die -- because he was gay? The American people were led from the outset to believe that Shepard was the victim of a hate crime, murdered because he was gay. And that is how virtually every American still views the story. In the words of Congressman Sean Patrick Maloney (D-N.Y.), "Matthew Shepard is to gay rights what Emmett Till was to the civil rights movement." A play based on Shepard´s killing, "The Laramie Project" became, according to the Wall
I have never been much of a conspiracy theorist. For me it was always Oswald by himself from the Texas School Book Depository and nothing in the intervening fifty years has disabused me of this notion. For the most part, I’m an Occam’s Razor kind of guy — the most obvious explanation is likely to be true. (Snip) To put it bluntly, Occam’s Razor has moved. Things that were once possibilities now seem almost certainties to me. Principal among those is that Obama’s academic records are perpetually unavailable for a reason — and that reason is most likely that they reveal
One of President Obama´s chief political assets has been his ability to excite young people like almost no politician in history. But the days of America´s youth fawning over the president are over. A new Harvard University Institute of Politics poll released Wednesday confirms what other surveys have shown in recent months: Millennials have soured on Obama so much this year that their opinion of him largely mirrors the American public´s. Even though Obama does not ever have to face another election, he should be worried about the findings for a couple of reasons, which we will dive into momentarily.
Last summer on his $100 million family tour of Africa, Barack Obama hoped for a priceless photo op with Nelson Mandela, the ailing freedom pioneer who went from prison cell to the presidency of South Africa. Mandela´s family suggested that wouldn’t happen. So, the Obamas did a photo op in Mandela´s former prison cell. Which Obama’s White House quickly tweeted upon word of the icon´s passing at 95. [Skip] But Obama was also caught staring at television coverage of Mandela’s passing, which became Obama’s Photo of the Day.
Hardly a week goes by without Hillary Clinton receiving another award. Last month she was named a “Global Champion” by the International Medical Corps, received the American Patriot Award at the National Defense University Foundation and the Hermandad Award from the Mexican American Leadership Initiative. [Snip] At this rate, if a bunch of elderly left-wing Swedes toss her the Nobel Peace Prize early on, the way they did to Obama, it will barely rate mention among all the other glittering trophies that have been bestowed on a woman whose only actual accomplishment was being married to a crooked governor with
A stunning new study unveiled on Fox News´ Hannity finds that President Barack Obama’s White House calendar records just one face-to-face meeting between Obama and his Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Kathleen Sebelius in the more than three-and-a-half years leading up to the disastrous Obamacare launch. The startling statistic comes from a new Government Accountability Institute (GAI) analysis of Obama’s own official White House calendar, as well as the Politico presidential calendar, and raises new questions about Obama’s executive leadership and management throughout the implementation of his singular legislative achievement. More alarming still, the president’s schedule lists 277 private
Speaker John Boehner said his party should support gay Republican congressional candidates and urged his colleagues to “be a little more sensitive” when running against women. “Some of our members just aren’t as sensitive as they ought to be,” Boehner said. When asked if he thinks his party should support gay candidates, Boehner simply said: “I do.”
Amid an array of “knock-out” attacks against a number of Jews in Brooklyn’s Crown Heights neighborhood, a city councilwoman pointed to the success of the Jewish community as triggering the aggression. Councilwoman-elect Laurie Cumbo emphasized that while she “admire[s] the Jewish community immensely” for its work ethic, black teens may see it differently. “While I personally regard this level of tenacity, I also recognize that for others, the accomplishments of the Jewish community triggers feelings of resentment, and a sense that Jewish success is not also their success,” Cumbo, who was recently elected, wrote in a letter. Chief among the issues
On Tuesday, The Boston Globe reported that Onyango “Omar” Obama, uncle to President Obama, says that his famous nephew stayed with him while a student at Harvard Law School in the 80s, in contradiction to The White House’s contention that the two had never met. At Thursday’s White House daily briefing, Press Secretary Jay Carney confirmed that the President had, in fact, briefly stayed with “his father’s half-brother,” as Carney described Omar Obama, and that no one had actually asked the President about it when the White House initially commented. The 69 year-old Omar Obama has been facing deportation back
America is facing a wave of strikes by its fast-food workers on Thursday a day after Barack Obama warned that inequality in the USA had soared to the point that it now posed "a fundamental threat to the American dream". Low-paid workers in McDonalds, Kentucky Fried Chicken and other fast-food outlets in 100 cities across America were due to start rolling strikes to protest at the low level of America´s $7.25 (£4.45) federal minimum wage. The strikes are the latest part of a mushrooming publicity campaign for higher wages among those working so-called "McJobs", with fast-food restaurants seen as a
The world premiere of the “Ballad for Trayvon Martin for Orchestra and Jazz Quartet” is set for tonight. Princeton University’s director of its jazz-studies program composed the work in honor of the Florida teen. Anthony D. J. Branker told the Star-Ledger that the piece is intended to “be a form of healing” after Martin’s death and the controversial court case that followed it. The ballad, which will be performed by the university’s official orchestra and jazz ensemble, is intended to be a tribute to victims of racial violence, Branker explained. He hopes that the performance will be “one that speaks to
WASHINGTON – A fourth straight month of solid hiring cut the U.S. unemployment rate to a five-year low of 7 percent in November, an encouraging sign for the economy. The Labor Department says employers added 203,000 jobs, nearly matching October´s revised gain of 200,000. The job gains helped lower the unemployment rate from 7.3 percent in October. The strengthening job market is likely to fuel speculation that the Federal Reserve may start to scale back its bond purchases when it meets later this month. The economy has now generated an average of 204,000 jobs from August through November. That´s up
In February, the Bush family’s personal emails were hacked by Guccifer, a hacker who uncovered photographs of former President George H. W. Bush in a hospital bed and George W. Bush’s oil paintings in the process. It seems Guccifer has struck again, this time targeting former President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Library. The hacker has reportedly uncovered doodles of Clinton drawing on what were, at the time, classified documents. Among the doodles is apparently a picture of a penis. The document uncovered is a briefing of the strategic measures the United States could take prior Clinton’s decision to intervene in
