College’s husky dog logo
promotes rape, says student

The new logo for the University of Connecticut’s sports teams is a terrifying husky dog that calls to mind images of sexual assault, says one student. The new logo was unveiled last week, receiving mixed-to-negative reviews from UConn fans who preferred the older, cuter husky dog. But one student went much further, criticizing the new, meaner logo for being a pro-rape symbol. In an open letter to UC President Susan Herbst, self-described feminist student Carolyn Luby wrote that the redesigned team logo will intimidate women and empower rape culture. UConn basketball coach Geno Auriemma said the logo

Unreal!! Rush just reported on this. This girl is truly, truly sick and twisted. Once again it is confirmed liberalism is a disease. She needs help fast. What will be really interesting is to see if anyone agrees with her. You know there will be those who do.

I think we need to put AIDS research on hold.

Lie-beralism is a horrible disease that is effecting far more people, and is epidemic in our colleges and universities.

There has to be a cure before lie-beralism wipes out our entire culture...

If you love your daughters, do not allow them to study "Women´s Studies" - it is the best way to turn them into social pariahs.

#19, thank you, your unusually insightful comments have just helped me to
"crack" this case...

Yes, this cartoon husky logo does indeed depict... a female canine... in heat.

By definition...
this is a... hot dog.

A hot dog...
is a... weiner.

The Univ Conn is displaying its weiner at this hyper-perceptive young nubile female
human, and she "gets it" ... does she ever!

She is repeatedly, daily, hourly...
psychologically raped by her school´s weiner.

It must be just as traumatic for her as seeing the emails or Tweets displaying
graphic images of Anthony´s weiner...
(former Cong. Anthony Weiner is the "front man" for The Wall Street Urinal... )

So... in legal terms...
this female university student is the victim of a cruel and unusual punishment...
without her ever having committed a crime...

She is exposed to this pervasive (did we mention "hairy"?)... weiner...
by her own alma mater...
It´s a rather shocking MisTweetment...

And that is a clear violation of her constitutional rights...
And certainly we should anticipate that litigation is to follow...
Just as soon as the ambulance-chaser can figure out which ward she´s currently
being held in.

The Univ Conn´s best bet to head this off would be to arrange an "Ice" summit with
former U.S. president Billyboob Klintoon, who could advise her...
"Better put some ice on it."

Let me know if you need any further explanations of today´s news.
(It is all so logical, so simple... )

The lady protests too much. She has rape on the mind in a way that is not normal and reminds us of the adage that a fear is a defense against a wish. Of course there could also be the usual moral vanity and malice and attention seeking and will to power of the liberal do-gooder and grievance collector. Or perhaps all of these -and more- combined.

A short while ago this sort of thing would have been laughed away and the woman referred for a mental health evaluation. Today, of course, some people -one never knows for sure how many- take such nonsense seriously.

First daughter Sasha Obama cut a stylish figure in jeans and shades as the Obama girls visited the Great Wall of China today. Michelle Obama, Malia, 15, and Sasha, 12, were left alone to explore the Mutianyu section of the historical landmark in the northern Beijing suburbs though Chinese police officers looked on protectively. The three walked a stretch of the wall that looks out to a massive rock inscription on a hillside that reads in Chinese: ´Loyal to Chairman Mao.´ The country has been fascinated by Mrs Obama´s ´elegance´ during the weeklong visit to the country to promote educational

A feminist studies professor at a California state university is facing criminal charges after a videotaped run-in with a teenage pro-life demonstrator in which she snatched an anti-abortion sign and appeared to get physical with the girl. University of California at Santa Barbara Associate Professor Mireille Miller-Young was charged with one misdemeanor count each of theft, battery and vandalism in the March 4 incident, Santa Barbara County District Attorney Joyce Dudley announced Friday. The charges came days after 16-year-old Thrin Short and her parents met with prosecutors. Thrin told authorities what she told FoxNews.com earlier this month: She, her older

First lady Michelle Obama told students that freedom of speech should be a universal right during her extravagant, no-press-allowed tour of China — a hypocritical move that will surely draw the ire of critics, according to an expert. “That is troublesome. That goes beyond hypocritical, and I think the American media and the international media has every right to call her and the Obama administration on that — that they permitted that to happen,” said Tom Whalen, a political history professor at Boston University. “It makes you shake your head, albeit sadly.” The first lady stopped at Peking University in Beijing yesterday

When Washington, D.C., councilman and former Mayor Marion Barry this week said that whites need to be “more open-minded” about African-American politicians, claiming “blacks are more open-minded than” whites, he was suggesting that whites can´t do what blacks do -- embrace the other race. But a new study of 212 black college students made available to Secrets found little open-mindedness: Blacks don´t like it when other blacks associate with whites, to the point of refusing help to an African-American experiencing “a run of bad luck” -- just because they have white friends. The study in the April edition of the authoritative journal

In a constituent meeting gone awry that was captured on shaky, amateur video, embattled Rep. Renee Ellmers (R-NC) berated a group of local activists who oppose amnesty legislation, suggesting they were racist and saying they didn´t have “any damn facts.” “You´re telling me what people have told you? You don´t have any damn facts!” Ellmers exploded at one of the activists when he said that employers – who often claim a labor shortage to argue for amnesty – frequently don´t post job openings in that region.

First lady Michelle Obama told a group of Chinese students Saturday that free speech is a universal right that makes countries stronger. Nations are “stronger and more prosperous” when people’s opinions are heard," Obama said during her trip to China, which employs some of the strictest limits on the Internet. “We respect the uniqueness of other cultures and societies, but when it comes to expressing yourself freely and worshipping as you choose and having open access to information, we believe those universal rights — they are universal rights that are the birthright of every person on this planet,” she said

Quoting unnamed administration officials, CNN host Jake Tapper revealed that the White House is “concerned” that Russia could invade South and East Ukraine “possibly as soon as this weekend.” He said that, in spite of Russia’s assurances that the large numbers of troops and military equipment amassed along the Ukrainian border are there merely for training exercises, the White House believes that Moscow could be planning a broader incursion into Ukraine. “There is now real apprehension that Vladimir Putin could push even further into Ukraine, perhaps as soon as this weekend,” Tapper said. He quoted anonymous administration officials who are “concerned”

One of four gubernatorial candidates introduced to California Republicans recently is a registered sex offender who spent more than a decade in state prison, convicted of crimes including voluntary manslaughter and assault with intent to commit rape. (Snip) Champ, a little-known political neophyte from the Fresno County community of Tollhouse, did not directly mention his criminal past during his speech but said, "In my life, I´ve been held accountable because of my stupidity. I do not want anyone else to be enslaved because of their lack of knowledge." Champ´s rap sheet is lengthy. Court records show that in 1992,
