Obama's Hubris Problem
Politico, by Keith Koffler

Original Article

Posted By:FlyRight, 4/26/2013 6:20:27 AM

Tuesday morning, a peculiar announcement trickled out of the White House press office: President Barack Obama would be holding a moment of silence for the victims of the Boston bombings. At the White House. By himself. No press or other intruders allowed. That Obama assumed Americans would want an iconic photo of him privately mourning the victims of the bombings was emblematic of a kind of hubris that has enveloped the president and his White House as the president commences his second term.

Maybe Obama is finally getting embarrassed with all his photo ops, exploiting tragedies.I doubt it but it´s surprising that someone besides us are starting to see through this guy. Of course photo ops still work with the lofos but the problem is Obama isn´t solving any problems but instead tries to make it appear he´s on top of things.

The left had to be outraged at Obama attending a service in Waco but he used honoring firefighters as the excuse. Then he has to defend his appearance at the Bush library by slipping in a pitch for immigration, which wasn´t well received by people who care about decorum.

Koffler begins well, builds up his case, then fritters it away with what he apparently felt were obligatory swipes at Reagan and Nixon. Nevertheless, it´s politically significant that this appeared in Politico.

Every morning, after a cup of coffee, we, too, have a private moment of mourning at the thought that this bozo and his cronies were elected to govern this great nation.
No cameras here, though.

We, of course, see Obama as arrogant. We are hourly insulted by his underestimating our intelligence and acting like we´re all fools. Of course. The fact of the matter is he is not talking to us, the informed, the HiFo voter, the intelligent. He is winning elections and support from the LoFo´s, the ignorant and the uninformed, and that is intended audience. Not us. Just calling him arrogant is at the same time accurate and pointless. Getting away with what he gets away with simply feeds his arrogance.

What is it that California, McCain and Saudi Arabia continue to "respect" in that hubris? What is the pull of this tragic flaw? Is it that if all the world is a stage, Obama´s singular interpretation of "King" is to convince that while existing he doesn´t exist? Who is the man of wealth and fame he chooses to model?

His extremely high sense of himself started when he was a boy. Decades of being told and rewarded that you are special, unique, know more, etc has resulted in what we see now but even worse - he´s got all the trappings of the Presidency to stroke his ego with and rub our faces in. The idiot lo-fos out there who are preoccupied with the Kardashians or some talent show or posting another stupid picture on Facebook is his audience. They have little to no concept or interest in the major issues facing this country. They might have heard about the West, TX explosion and then they see this photo and go - wow - that Obama - he sure cares about working people.

Fifty years of pop culture brought us to this point. So much information out there and yet, so many so uninformed (and voting).

Did I wake up in an alternate universe? Two articles in a row that are actually telling the truth about Obama and his agenda? I´d like to think the crack in the dam is about to burst, but I am not quite that Pollyanna-ish. Any truth telling regarding Obama is welcome and sorely needed. Will the weight of his own ego bring him down? Now that is a delicious thought.

Obama suffers from delusions of grandeur...

For example, if the patient has fictitious beliefs about one’s power or authority he or she may believe himself or herself to be the ruling monarch, deserving to be treated like royalty. There are substantial differences in the degree of grandiosity linked with grandiose delusions in different patients. Some patients could believe they are God, the Queen of England, the President´s son, a famous rock star, and so on. Others are not as expansive and think they are skilled sports-persons or great inventors.

If Obozo continues on his present course (and he probably will) there will come a time that he is going to overstep his bounds. He will do something that will clearly be beyond his power and authority and will get caught. The question then is who is going to do something about it? And what will they do? Clinton got away with lying to a grand jury, so breaking the law isn´t against Dims´ beliefs.

FTA" If Obama starts to get too grand a sense of himself and sheds the last vestiges of concern for how others perceive him, it could lead him, as it has so many in positions of power, to believe he is beyond accountability."

Has this guy been asleep for the last several years?? 0bama has always behaved like a malignant narcissist from day one. He already believes he is beyond accountability and behaves as such constantly. His executive orders and the way he treats Republicans prove that. I have enjoyed reading Koffler in the past, but he´s delusional if he thinks 0bama hasn´t displayed arrogance and hubris since the day he was elected.

They owe their very existence to the fight to neutralize the right and do the work for Soros´ operations to screw up the political process. Together with Obama, Politico within the American System own Hubris, as the onset of an American Tragedy.

It is not the hubris. I said many times that commie/fascist governments are headed by sick sadistic no-goodnics – stalin/hitler/pol-pot/kim-il-multiple/mugabe… Their primary goal is fulfill their sick fantasies. The means to reach the goal are multiple, but in our society it is a little bit more difficult than in vietnam or n. korea. And here come the “legal” legislative means like bailouts (giving them uncontrollable amount of money), or sequestration, so they can legally rape many people at the same time putting the blame on rich 1% - it is us who don’t give them money deliberately! See what will happen when they will get even more power. In other countries they had Gulags with sadists killing disobedient and/or members of other races, like in Germany, Sudan or Uganda.

Nobamao is so crazed, power mad, under his fake smiles, that he´s raging beause he can´t lay off WalMart workers, too. For a truly cool, insightful, logical look at this psychologically troubled punishing man of endless unresolved behavorial meanness go to, www.destructivepresident.com and simply read a few descripive excerpts by forensic psychologist, Paul Fick PhD. See the structure of a vindictive peronality that lies underneath the pleasant facade we suffer in the White House (regardless of his highly questionable birth certificate).
"THE DESTRUCTIVE PRESIDENT", Dr Fick´s recent book is available on Amazon.com.
Back in the Clinton days, Dr Fick wrote the bestselling, "THE DYSFUNCTIONAL PRESIDENT",
accurately describing his lying and sexual
bad habits several years BEFORE Monica Lewinsky was exposed by Matt Drudge ! Both books are exciting. The new one is urgent!

Protestors organized by "The Difference Matters" do not want the former U.S. Secretary of State to come because of Clinton´s role in the Benghazi scandal. "She is not welcome here in San Diego by so many of us. We don´t want her here," said Jan Iverson, a local mother and protestor. (Snip) Clinton´s office says she changed plans because of

Following the massacre of grammar-school children in Newtown, Conn., in December 2012, high-powered weapons have been used to kill innocent victims in more senseless public incidents. Those killings, however, are only a fragment of the total harm caused by the misuse of firearms. Each year, more than 30,000 people die in the United States in firearm-related incidents. Many of those deaths involve handguns. The adoption of rules that will lessen the number of those incidents should be a matter of primary concern to both federal and state legislators. Legislatures are in a far better position than judges to assess the

A Nevada cattle rancher appears to have won his week-long battle with the federal government over a controversial cattle roundup that had led to the arrest of several protesters. Cliven Bundy went head to head with the Bureau of Land Management over the removal of hundreds of his cattle from federal land, where the government said they were grazing illegally. Bundy claims his herd of roughly 900 cattle have grazed on the land along the riverbed near Bunkerville, 80 miles northeast of Las Vegas, since 1870 and threatened a "range war" against the BLM on the Bundy Ranch website after one of

Who throws a shoe? Honestly! That would be 36-year-old Alison Ernst of Phoenix, Arizona, who was charged Thursday night with disorderly conduct by the Las Vegas Police Department after allegedly throwing a shoe at former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. According to NBC News, who spoke with a Secret Service official, the U.S. Attorney’s office has declined federal prosecution. Ernst was wearing shoes on Thursday night when she attended a speech Clinton was giving in Las Vegas, but apparently brought an extra one specifically to throw at the former secretary of state. The official said the incident appeared to be “premeditated.”

Recently elected Democratic Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is warning that global warming could raise sea levels high enough to flood the Hampton Roads region, home to the world´s largest naval base, without immediate and “smart decisions.” Addressing an environmental summit this week at the Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va., McAuliffe embraced climate change, blamed humans for causing it, and said action is needed now to protect Virginia´s coast from rising ocean levels that will result from global warming. “The first big decision of course is to accept that climate change is real,” he told the group. “I happen to believe in

President Obama stood Friday with the Rev. Al Sharpton and accused Republicans of trying to keep millions of Americans from voting, in a fiery speech days after new revelations about Sharpton’s past as an FBI informant. “The right to vote is threatened today in a way that it has not been since the Voting Rights Act became law nearly five decades ago,” Obama told the annual convention of Sharpton’s National Action Network in Manhattan. Obama’s appearance represented a presidential seal of approval of Sharpton’s role as a civil rights activist, amid the new revelations about how Sharpton used a wire to record

As President Obama spoke of old "wounds” at Fort Hood this week, the White House declined a request from a survivor of the 2009 massacre there to meet with Obama for a few minutes so the veteran could explain face-to-face how he believes the government has mistreated and disrespected the victims of that attack. Staff Sgt. Alonzo Lunsford (ret.) was shot seven times in November 2009 when Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan opened fire at Fort Hood, killing 13 people. Despite Hasan’s admission that he carried out the attack on behalf of the Taliban and revelations that he had been

Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) is now accusing the Keystone pipeline of being a cancer risk. Her first point was that the pipeline “will bring 830,000 barrels of dirty tar sands oil into our nation every day.” She then segued to point #2 by asserting that the heavy tar sands oil will put people who live near refineries at risk for cancer: Significantly higher levels of dangerous air pollutants and carcinogens have been documented downwind from tar sands refineries, and in these areas people are suffering higher rates of the types of cancers linked to these toxic chemicals, including leukemia and

STAMFORD, Conn. — Jeb Bush defended his controversial comments about immigration reform, insisting they were nothing new for him and urging “sensitivity to the immigrant experience.” At a Connecticut Republican party dinner Thursday night, the former Republican governor of Florida did not repeat his remarks from last weekend at his father’s presidential library, when he said that people who come to the United States illegally in search of a better life for their children “broke the law, but it’s not a felony. It’s an act of love.” This time the potential 2016 candidate put it differently. “To be young and

Coming clearly through the throbbing of helicopters and the roar of the SUVS of the feds harassing the Cliven Bundy Ranch, patriots there for Bundy should “tell it to the judge”. There is mainstream media-suppressed case history in Nevada the feds are desperately trying to keep under wraps. Chief Judge Robert C. Jones of the Federal District Court of Nevada smacked down high-handed, abusive feds, sending the pretend cowboys riding roughshod over Western ranchers and property owners back to their cobweb-laced offices in 2013. In spite of their 200 armed snipers with boy toys in tow, those Stetson-wearing feds hunkering down on Cliven
