Can a President Who
Has Promised to
´Stand with the Muslims´
Protect Americans?

American Thinker, by Lauri B. Regan

Original Article

Posted By:DW626, 4/23/2013 3:11:30 AM

In Obama´s Audacity of Hope, he stated, "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in any ugly direction." He also asserted in Bob Woodward´s Obama´s Wars, "We can absorb [another] terrorist attack." These are two straightforward statements that raise the question of whether a man who has been seemingly obsessed with reaching out to "the Muslim world" since taking office is capable of fulfilling his duty as commander-in-chief to keep America safe and secure.

The "NO! came in loudly and long ago.

Any statements, from whatever source or time, have no weight whatsoever compared to his policies and the crushing, crushing damage they have caused, are causing, and we will still be repairing 50 years from today. Or longer.

The real question is: can a Leftist (= anti-American) president be expected to protect Americans? The answer is tragically obvious.

No.

No, he can´t, and NO, he won´t.

Why has Obama sided with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Afghanistan and Iran.

He ALWAYS sides with the most violent and extreme branches of Islam, and ALWAYS works against any and all American allies.

This is who he is.

Pray for our nation.

The strking thing to me about all this,is how little attention and sympathy the victims are getting,at least compared to Sandyhook. The reason is obvious of course, they don´t want to illuminate Obama´s failed muslim outreach program.

Ironically, the left is always whining about white privilege but in this case, the bomber being white helps him tremendously. In people´s minds,a white guy can´t be a muslim terrorist,so there must be some other explanation which the media will be happy to fill in the blanks.

He doesn´t have to go to Egypt or Saudi Arabia to reach the Muslims, he has them in his cabinet with Huma at former Sec. of State´s right arm and her Brotherhood family. Then there is Jarrett and Brennan, and of course him with his Muslim enscripted ring. NO! Emphatically NO! And, thanks Mainstream media for never having any curiosity as to what a quote like that could mean and never asking. Don´t ask, don´t tell.

Obama has clearly shown he will protect all terrorists and not Americans by helping to hustle that Saudi "person of interest" out of the country. Obama is in bed with terrorists which makes Obama an enemy of the State.

No. Obama is not trustworthy enough to tell us the truth. He is has proved he will stand with the muslims. What makes you think he would protect us? This whole administration is disturbing. I had a great concern when I saw an entire city on shutdown to find one man. I saw a huge police presence but not one bloodhound. Isn´t that the norm when you need to find someone who is on foot? Going door to door to check on people by the police was reasonable. However, armed men in camouflage searching private homes was very troubling. Am I the only one was bothered by this?

No he cannot and he will not even attempt to do so. It doesn´t really matter. His stupid voters will vote for him anyway. They´ve done so twice, knowing what an evil, weaselly, perverted creature he is. Their exact words are ´we don´t care´. Certainly is telling of what this country has produced over the last generation. One must be stuck on stupid after being stalled in ignorance to vote for an individual who would put this country is such grave danger. Einstein, they ain´t.

Not only is he standing with his muslim brothers, he lied when he swore to protect and defend our Constitution. Despicable bag of crap that he is

This is among the best articles I have read on this subject. Not afraid to call a spade and spade, Lauri lays it out in full, including:

They are already holding [Muslim] prayers in the White House.

Why do that if you claim to be a Christian? Obama´s slip of the tongue ("..my Muslim faith") with Stephanopoulus now comes back to haunt him.

But that is the least important fact in this long, very readable piece. Most important is the willful sympathy for Islamism (a worldview, not simply a religion), which is dangerous to American national security.

Obama took an oath to put Americans and their safety and the Constitution first. He has violated that oath too many times to count. Now the cancer has spread to the FBI and its ability to protect us from terrorist attacks like the one in Boston.

We have a traitor in the White House. If this isn´t addressed, we will no longer be a free nation, but rather a Muslim satellite under Sharia law.

#5...IMO, the reason the victims in Boston are seemingly getting little sympathy is because they were victims of an attack by Muslims! Can´t have any bad Muslim press, now can we? Had the Boston Bombers been white Anglo-Saxon protestants gun owners, you can be assured that the coverage of the victims themselves would be wall-to-wall and treetop tall.

Obama was raised Muslim. His college roommate was Muslim. His grade school enrollment lists his faith as Muslim. He is named after Mohammed´s horse. He traveled to a Muslim country, Pakistan, for some unknown reason in 1981. Nation of Islam leader, Farrakhan, referred to him as a Messiah. He believes the most beautiful sound in the world is the call to prayer. Shall I go on? I´d say it quacks like a duck. I believe he´s so wrapped up in Taquia he doesn´t know which end is up.

What #10 and others said: actions speak louder than words. Obama is actually in on the jihad with Al Qaeda and muslim brotherhood, etc imho. Just look at the writing on the wall, the patterns, the spoken words.
Bamboozler is probably secretly telling Al Qaeda behind the scenes to bomb away, while he runs interference for them re US media, to go all out to disassociate them from any attacks. He aided and abetted them in Libya. Did Al Qaeda just go away or simply stop accepting responsibility for their bombings, as a mask?

Just as many analysts said there is no way 09/11/01 was pulled off without foreign help, so goes the same being applied to Obama´s presidency. Everything he does is so destructive, complex and widespread in negative effects, there is no way he or any one person is coming up with all of this agenda. It is indeed a cabal as others have speculated with foreigners, radicals comprising much of the cabinet, imho.

The president has a duty to stand with ALL law abiding Americans, regardless of religious affiliation or lack thereof.

Mr. Obama spends too much time "standing with" special interest groups (like amnesty advocates and union workers) and too little time standing with all of America.

Good posts here, from the one-word posts of ´´NO´´ to the longer essays. Well said, all.

Obama is steeped in taqqiya, which means he MUST lie to infidels. The creed is to say whatever - anything - to pacify us infidels so that we shut up and he can proceed with his attacks from within.

THIS is the fundamental transformation he spoke of 5 days before election 2008. That was his declaration of war on US.

We have been under constant assault since January 21, 2009, whether we knew it or not, or acknowledged it or not.

Karma is coming around. This can´t stand.

FTA: But what the country needs is a president who understands Islamic jihad...the totalitarian, fundamentalist dogma[bold print mine] that drives the violence...

2014 is crucial but 2016 is imperative that we elect someone born in America and raised with a 100% love for the U.S. Constitution and the principles for which the Founders gave us America.

This next quote FTA should make all freedom-loving Americans sick to their stomachs. I hope someone has an idea what to do about it!

FTA:And with numerous MB operatives working with or in the administration, it is no wonder that an Egyptian cleric recently stated, "Trust me, very soon we will see the flag of ´There is no god but Allah´ flying over the White House. They are already holding [Muslim] prayers in the White House."

Isn´t there a book entitled None Dare Call It Treason? Yes, it came out in 1964 and its author, John A. Stormer, believed that the “elite” were traitors, liberal of course, who were so powerful that their “treasonous actions” couldn’t be challenged.
I believe it is time- no past time- to challenge the elite traitors. I hope (no, I pray)that America has 75% or more citizens who agree.

Obama shows his utter distain for the American people at every turn, he´s a narcissistic usurper who doesn´t now nor ever will understand America.

Just his meer actions over the last several years have shown his absolute contempt, for not only the American people but, for Christianity. Quotes like "they will cling to their guns and Bibles" or where he picked and chose verses, out of context, to make a political point.

His actions speak quite loudly.

Like when he claims to be quoting a Biblical Verse that he then twists into something to support his socialist agenda. The one that gets me is when he says that the Bible says that we are our brother´s keepers. No one corrects him. Who knows? Maybe it says that in the Qur´an.

Of course he can´t and he won´t! This is an excellent article and not surprising to those of us here. How many people are even aware of or care about these facts related to 0bama? In spite of all the horrific information available about him he was re-elected. I am truly at a loss as to what to do because we know our country is slipping away from us and voting hasn´t changed anything with the shenanigans Democrats are capable of with voter fraud. I want to be informed but it is getting to the point where it is becoming too overwhelming because there is nothing I can do about it. I´m sure there are even more horrifying things he has done that we will never know, including this suppressed information recently regarding that Saudi national. With the media against us we sure have an uphill battle. I pray there are enough of us left who can save our country.

All the groups such as Jews, Irish (and other) Catholics, traditionbal Democrat voters, need to start thinking seriously about what they are doing to our country. Even if they don´t like some of the rest of us for historic reasons, is that more important than the loss of the Republic?

As Codevilla has described, the Ruling Class of both political parties is to blame for Islamic terror attacks against the US and the influence of Islam in US government. They´re all pals. George Bush and Dr. Rice tried hard to get rid of Mubarek and demanded he open elections. Mubarek finally did and a lot of Mus. Bro. won so he closed elections again. I´d love to believe there was a way out of this but with only 2 political parties I can´t see it. The difference is Bush didn´t have the media, but now Boehner and Rove have the NY Times.

He stands with Communist as well. Both the Communist and Muslim members of Congress should be expunged. Neither forms of evil are compatible with our Constitution as both are out to destroy it. Barry received his early education about hatred for the US from his schooling in Indonesia and later from his communist benefactors in the US.

DING DING DING - ALERT

Sorry folks but Stand with the Muslims is NOT an accurate quote. It´s been passed around for so long it had a beard We always accuse Liberals and Media of twisting stories or lying so why are Conservatives doing the same thing? Here is the actual quote from the book:

"Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction."

Shame on Ms Regan for not doing her homework.

As I sit and think about all that has happened in the past 41/2 years, I´m beginning to wonder if a lot of what Obozo does about trying to outlaw citizens from owning firearms coupled with stripping the military from their capacity to wage a war isn´t a plan to soften American so it can be an easy takeover for Muslims. And no, I´m not a conspiracy theorist. It just seems to me to be more than simple coincidence.

And NO, Obozo isn´t fit to lead or protect anything or anybody. He´s still an adolescent in many ways.

My thanks to #73 for giving us that quote in its proper context, which is damning enough on its own. This anti-American character occupying the White House has done and said enough bad faith things to sink ten political careers. If and when enough of his protective coterie of Democrats and journalists peel themselves away from his royal rump and allow the six year overdue vetting process to occur, his presidency will collapse like a wet soufflé. For the good of the country and its place in the world, a lot of people need to wake up, and quickly, before President Reverse Midas from Chicago via Indonesia achieves his goals.

A major concern of progressives is their supposed interest in the fate of the poor. They purport to be the champions of the poor. But the truth is that they need the poor more than the poor need them, in a symbiotic relationship. As much as 75% of the money allocated to the poor is consumed by the vast bureaucracies that administer this aid. These agencies are actually job programs for college graduates who would often find it difficult to find employment in the private sector. Early on in the Genesis chapter of the Bible much is made of Adam giving names to all living creatures. Like everything about the Bible, the meaning of this event is subject to many interpretations, the most often given is that it signals man’s dominion over the other creatures of the earth. I don’t dispute that reading, but to me, the naming description signifies that there can be no real communication among people unless the names we use mean the same thing to all of us. A spade certainly is a garden implement, but if you are in the gardening

In the business world, a diligent board of directors would have long ago fired CEO Obama. A couple of underperforming years and a few reasons more, and a CEO would have his bags packed and stowed underneath his buck-stopping desk. Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day.
