An article published on CNN´s website makes an unproven claim that pressure cooker bombs like the ones used at the Boston Marathon terror attack are a ´signature´ of ´right-wing extremists.´ The article was co-written by Jennifer Roland and Peter Bergen. Bergen is the CNN ananlyst made the claim that right-wing extremists could be behind the bombing less than two hours after it took place. If it turns out to be a "right wing extremist" who set the bomb, I suspect Chrissy Matthews and all the other left wing pundits at MSNBC will collectively wet and soil themselves on national TV.

Right-wing extremists wrote the Al-Queda how-to do-it manual for making pressure cooker bombs? Who knew?

This is getting a little scary. Their desperation to spin this is moving beyond soulless partisan political maneuvering.

They see and hear what fits their template.

I just think if this was the work of the Aryan Nation, Nazis or Skinheads they would have taken out the leaders of the race: The Ethiopians, the Ugandans, the Nigerians, etc...all African-Muslims. Instead the bomber/s went after the slower Europeans and Americans who came two hours later. Just makes sense.

It would appear that the rumors of Al-Qaeda´s death have been greatly exaggerated!!! I fear that we may now be paying the ultimate price for the administration´s spiking of the ball a bit to much following Bin Laden´s death!!!

One of the several attractions of using a ‘pressure-cooker’ is that it’s an airtight device, thus thwarting the efforts of bomb-sniffing dogs to alarm….assuming, in this case, there actually had been bomb-sniffing dogs on-site.

How many IEDs have been blown up in the US to determine that a "right wing extremist" uses this method...pressure cooker. I´ve heard that it is a signature of Pawk-ee-stan and Afghanistan terrorists. You can get info on the internet on how to put one of these pressure cooker bombs together...but it seems to have originated in those 2 countries. Too much speculation right now. The msm seems to be frothing at the mouth to pin this on a local. Maybe it is. Jennifer and Peter are wild-eyed progressive "journos." Pfie on them!

So, CNN is now saying that we on the right are collaborating with the Afghanie terrorists now, in order to improve our bomb making skills?(only slightly sarcastic)

I have read in two different places that these are the kind of IED devices that are killing our soldiers overseas. I will be vary shocked here if it truly is a disgruntled white guy. If it is a ´white guy´, he may be in cahoots with actual terrorists, like several other citizens who have gone over to the dark side.

Gee, history has shown that the "right wing" terrorists tend to target government buildings/institutions or specific targets while muzzies just want to kill as many of anyone and cause as much carnage as possible.

Guess which one fits? Or is Obama going to classify this as a "sports injury"?

The latest reports on the investigation say the trail is cold, they have no good leads. Could it be the trail is leading to muslim jihadists and this is a politically incorrect conclusion to be covered up. As the article shows pressure cookers could be built by anyone but if we talk about a "signature" it´s use up to now is all by muslim terrorists. Mark Levin cited a six month old warning that these IED´s would come home on his show yesterday. This is no surprise to the wise but Obama investigators may well take as long to figure it out as they do with Benghazi.

Politically motivated lying masquerading as factual reporting is nothing new to the pathetic ducks at the left-liberal and deservedly dying CNN. Pressure cookers packed with ball bearings, BBs, and nails are explicitly in instructions that Al Qaeda provides for its field operatives. One gets the feeling that if the worldwide security dragnet manages to snag only a Muslim terrorist or two for the atrocities in Boston, Jennifer Roland and Peter Bergen at CNN are going to be verklempt. We already know that their mendacity is all encompassing. These people really, really hate us, and should not be read. (Don´t forget these names.) In fact, they hate us worse that they hate the actual terrorists who have carried out attacks on civilians worldwide.

Remember Michael Moore´s bellyaching--that´s quite an ache!--that the 9/11/01 terrorists hit two "blue" cities when a red one would surely have been more appropriate? Leftists like the Obamas are friends of anti-Americans! Except as an opportunity to fake some degree of humanity while gaining political points for empathy, people like these lumpen newsies wouldn´t truly grieve if the worst happened to their political adversaries. After all, look at all the leftist tears being shed for Baronness Thatcher. /sarc off

Another example of the enemedia Democrat Ministry of Propaganda (aka: CNNABCCBSNBCMSNBCNPRNYTWPLATETC...) making an ad hominem declaration with absolutely zero supporting facts/evidence/examples (aren´t those supposed to be the bread and butter of reporters?).

There have been no reports of anyone in this country even attempting this kind of thing before Monday. How do I know? It´s one of my jobs to know. Here´s the byline to my military signature block:

"We´re here for all your Emergency Management & Planning Needs, including;

Defense Prep against Terrorist use of WMD;
Defense against Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear Contamination, & High-yield Explosives;

And Many other Emergency Response & Planning needs!"

Anyone still believing anything the propaganda arm of the Democrats/socialists tells them is a damned fool.

It may still turn out that some so-called American right-wing nut committed these murders, but the facts are the facts - and these guys ain´t reporting facts. Joe Friday, where have ya gone?

Since 01/2013, the WH/Holder machine has instructed the MSM not to name or picture criminals in crime reports, if they are of color... until they have a chance to try & pin it on an evil whitey.

However... I sense a big conspiracy theory about Boston events. I smell Ayres trying to create mass havoc but failing miserably.

1) Several trash can bombs in Boston but only 2 exploded. It started with a diversion explosion at the JFK bldg., intending to divert resources from the race area.... but Boston resources are much better than in the ´70´s.
2) American Airlines reservations down, stranding a hi % of scared peeps.... but other airlines helped solve the backlog.
3) Ricin laced letters which is easily obtained from a university lab.... but 50% public is not Lo Fo´s so many knew it´s not fatal.
4) Next I would expect a phony letter to the NY Slime with a claim that The Aryan Nation or Catholics for Christ bombed Boston.

Sooo... my theory is a failed terrorist attempt by Ayres & pals that will be covered up.

Sharyl Attkisson hasn’t landed yet, but there’s every reason to suppose she’s not going to finish her career in local news in Duluth. For starters, Atkinson is an accomplished reporter. But she’s also taken one of the surefire moves to help ensure her relevance – not to mention potential TV and book contracts – by criticizing the very media establishment in which she spent her career. It’s an increasingly well-traveled path: Over the course of the past two decades, a handful of journalists have left mainstream media jobs while decrying what they saw as an inherent bias in their own industry.

An educated workforce, a large population boom, major technological advances, and abundant fossil fuels were the key components of growth, generating substantial and broadly distributed increases in standards of living in many countries. We have grown so used to such growth that we inevitably view it as a panacea for a host of economic ills, whether it´s a deep recession or income inequality. I have no objections to Jeb Bush running for president. He obviously has a wide appeal as a potential candidate. (Snip) His support of Common Core, however, will also find many who are in the conservative ranks objecting, since they fear that Common Core represents educational centralism and having the government ram federal standards down their throats. What I do object to is that Bush is already being heralded as the obvious candidate, the man to whom the big money must and will flow. As the Washington Post reports: Many of the Republican Party’s most powerful insiders and financiers have begun a

Obamacare, the plan purportedly created to provide health coverage for the uninsured, has enrolled just 1.7% of America´s 48.6 million uninsured. News of the disastrous numbers comes as nervous Democrats and President Barack Obama, ahead of the November midterm elections, did their best on Monday´s enrollment deadline to put a positive spin on the deeply unpopular Obamacare program. (Snip) The White House now claims an Obamacare enrollment figure of six million people. However, according to The New York Times, at least 20% of those never paid their premiums to activate coverage, leaving them uninsured.

A few months back, HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius stated for the record that 7 million Obamacare sign-ups by the end of March would constitute success. She was clear about it. But then February came, and February always stinks. It’s just a lousy month. You’re tired of winter, you’re still miles away from spring, and no one was signing up for Obamacare. That 7 million figure looked totally unreachable. So Sebelius does what every other member of the Obama administration does when confronted with inconvenient facts. She lied. In a Tuesday appearance on HuffPost Live to discuss outreach to African American communities,

Ronan Farrow’s MSNBC talk show is facing cancellation amid poor ratings, sources exclusively tell Confidenti@l.Farrow, 28 — the opinionated, blue-eyed son of actress Mia Farrow and either Woody Allen or Frank Sinatra (even Farrow’s not sure which) — has been a disaster for MSNBC. The channel took the frequent cable-show guest and handed him his own program, “Ronan Farrow Daily,” which premiered in late February.The theory was that Farrow, a Rhodes scholar who graduated college when he was 15 and went on to score degrees from Yale and Oxford, would bring his 245,000 Twitter followers with him to television

A National Labor Relations Board official has given the green light to Northwestern University football players to form a union. The March 26 decision by the NLRB´s Chicago regional director, Peter Sung Ohr, held that scholarship football players are "employees" for purposes of federal labor law. Ohr rejected the longstanding view of Northwestern and the National Collegiate Athletic Association that players are "student-athletes" rather than employees. While Ohr´s decision is hardly the final word on this issue, it does accelerate the legal and political battle against the NCAA and its century-old amateurism rules. Is Football Academic? House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, criticized last year by a Vatican official for her support of abortion, received a rosary Tuesday from President Obama that was blessed by Pope Francis. Mrs. Pelosi told reporters of the president’s gift after having lunch with Mr. Obama at the White House. The president met with the pope last week at the Vatican. “I was happy to receive a rosary blessed by Pope Francis,” she said. “It means a great deal to me.” Last year, a Vatican official in Rome said that Mrs. Pelosi should be denied communion. “This is a person who obstinately,

Washington — The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration on Monday finalized long-delayed rules that will require automakers to install back-up cameras in all vehicles by May 2018. The new rules set rear visibility standards that automakers will initially be able to meet only by installing cameras. At the same time, major automakers said Monday they are petitioning the Obama administration to let them end the use of side view mirrors if they install cameras that could perform the same task — a move that could improve fuel efficiency. Drinking Earl Grey tea could help guard against heart disease, it has emerged, after a study found that bergamot extract--a key ingredient in the hot drink--is just as effective as statins at controlling cholesterol. Scientists believe bergamot, a fragrant Mediterranean citrus fruit which gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive flavour, can significantly lower cholesterol. They say it contains enzymes known as HMGF (hydroxy methyl glutaryl flavonones) which can attack proteins in the body known to cause heart disease. The study found bergamot could even be as effective as statins, used to control cholesterol but which can have side effects in

Spanish historians say they have discovered what Monty Python could not – the Holy Grail, the legendary cup Jesus supposedly drank from at the Last Supper. The Spaniards – Margarita Torres and José Ortega del Río – believe the 2,000-year-old vessel is in a church in León in northern Spain. The pair spent three years studying the history of the chalice and last week published a book, “The Kings of the Grail,” making their case. The onyx chalice, they explained, was concealed within another antique vessel known as the Chalice of Doña Urruca, which is located in León’s basilica of

A RAND study pours buckets of cold water on the Obama administration’s claims that it has nearly reached 7 million sign-ups for Obamacare. The whole point of Obamacare, supposedly, was to insure the uninsured and bend the cost curve down. Those who had insurance were supposed to be able to keep it. Families were supposed to start saving about $2500 a year. If you believed the Obama administration. Reality, according to RAND‘s study, is that the Obama administration’s 7 million figure is deceptive. Supposing 7 million have actually signed up and paid their first premium — which is not a given,
