Few Americans can not answer this question: who is the worst domestic mass murderer in United States’ history? Due to the United States media, most are aware that Timothy McVeigh slaughtered 168 people with a bomb in 1995. Most Americans also know the names of our three most monstrous serial killers: “The Green River Killer” Gary Ridgeway, Ted Bundy, John Wayne Gacy. The U.S. media is again responsible for the general awareness of these men; these stories deserved — and received — national attention due to our common interest in personal safety, the rule of law

Democrats enabled this sadistic baby-killing by mainstreaming abortion.
Normally I would say "Shame on you!" but it would mean nothing to such amoral people.

The New York Slimes in Denver (aka the Denver Post) has reported on the Gosnell atrocities a few times. All the Post did however, was re-print pieces from the "back east" rags. As you would expect, there is no expression of moral outrage in the writeups.

MLive (on-line consolidation of most Michigan papers except FREEP and Det. News) has a Mar. 17 link to an AP story about the trial . Link is now dead. NO OTHER ARTICLES since then.
I´ve asked most of my friends if they´ve heard of the atrocities. 3/4 have never heard/seen/read of this horror. Thanks Lucianne and the few who continue to "Paul Revere" this story!

Ironic: The news of the media´s hesitancy to cover this story because of their bias "for" abortion is now the story -- rather than the murdering S@B that killed American babies....

To me this msm spiking of the murders by Kermit Gosnell is really no different than the spiking of the black flash mob violence against whites. When blacks commit violence the msm believes it to be racist to report such incidents. The truth is Democratic welfare has destroyed the black family, out of wedlock births skyrocketed and violence has become a way of life in the inner city black "hoods". Gun control will have no effect on inner city violence. But to say such things is racist. I am white so by definition of the msm and leftists I am a racist.

These words from, Harriet Beecher Stowe, in Uncle Tom´s Cabin apply to slavery and abortion:

\..."men and women of America, is this a thing to be trifled with, apologized for, and passed over in silence?

Few local and regional papers have the budget and staff to cover the trial themselves. They should be picking up the wire services, however. It is also made to order for a "could it happen here" story or opinion column on clinic inspection laws and procedures in their locality. It seems the merest hint that legal abortions may not be safe is off limits.

What´s been even more telling is the silence of most of the well known black opinion columnists. They are so quick to play the race card so why the silence when state inspectors pass on reports of bad conditions at a clinic that aborts black babies?

This is not being covered both because of the obsession with "choice" and because this occurred in a Black neighborhood. Can you imagine this continuing for so long in a White neighborhood, no matter how poor?

Poor Blacks have been treated as a Useful Idiot voting bloc for so long, the Dems have nothing but contempt for them. They get the welfare pittance to buy their vote and if they need to kill a baby or three to feed the rest, who cares? So, heaven knows, liberals don´t want this murder/abortion mill exposed.

But we´re the racist ones for exposing this and telling Black people that they are NOT children or idiots and can learn to take care of themselves.

The first "news" story about this just appeared today in the Indianapolis Star - there have been 3 or 4 syndicated editorials in the past few weeks, but never a news article. There may be another angle. In 2008, the LSM conveniently buried that Obama voted four times (a rare occurrence for Obama) against the Illinois version of the Born Alive Infant Protection Act. In other words, he saw no problem with these procedures and the press know it. As a matter of fact, he was a proponent. Further he saw no reason to save a baby who may miraculously survive.

Jill Stanek, a nurse in Chicago who witnessed these gruesome acts first hand, pointed this out in 2008 and was shunned by the media. In her case these abominations took place in, I believe, Chicago´s Oak Park Hospital.

In addition to ideology, the press may still be protecting Obama.

I live in the capitol city of Oregon, and the local Statesman Urinal appears to be ignoring the Gosnell trial. The statewide paper, The Oregonian, appears to have some coverage in March, but nothing yet in April.

They just can´t let themselves cover anything that exposes the rotten corruptness of killing babies or of their hero in the WH who also has voted against saving babies who survive abortion.

One dance I would pay to watch would be if a reporter asked him on camera why he supports abortion of all kinds, but is against the 2nd amendment and people defending themselves. The verbal footwork would rival Fred Astaire.

The progressives know this story can´t be reported on because to do so would expose the underbelly of their agenda which is control of the masses. Their power comes from fomenting hate in lowinfo voters to believe whitey, capitalism, christianity, and honoring life are their enemies. This horror show puts a spotlight on the Left´s disdain toward the poor and the unborn. There is no way to spin a black doctor slaughtering black babies and jeopardizing black mothers, all the while taking money from our government to do it.

Amazingly - from a search of ´Gosnell´ in the Atlanta Urinal-Constipation online (which I don´t bother with unless there´s a nuclear attack or something) - there are nineteen (19) articles since March, though some of them are in Access Atlanta, which is apparently associated with the AJC. The latest article, and in the AJC itself, is very graphic and strong - though an opinion piece. The headline of the latest AJC news story per se is, "Defense: Philly abortion doc´s case ´a lynching´" - more typical AJC, but the story is better than the header. One article, from 3/18, is the most graphic and informative I´ve read anywhere and is headed, "Worker admits cutting 10 babies at abortion clinic."

Maybe the AJC has turned over a new leaf after all these years. (Yawn - please note my enthusiasm.)

Why the shock and surprise? The media has no intention of mentioning anything that uncovers the current celebration of their right to force liberal lack of morals on this nation.
They helped the Obama junta with their war on women theme with demands for even more careless morals via abortion paid by taxpayers or free birth control as an entitlement.
It´s so honorable to love these women enough to give them relief from the consequences of sex without restraint but it´s also so sad they can´t make them take the simple birth control steps too.
Of course why should they be restrained the resulting baby is easily deposed of with a flick of the knife or ice pick.
Frankly the best way out is to rule after two abortions comes mandatory sterilization. Darn though we are going to be forced to pay for that too via Obamacare.

Two New York Times reporters recently posited for President Obama this grim scenario: Low growth, high unemployment, and growing income inequality become "the new normal" in the nation he leads. "Do you worry," the journalists asked him, "that that could end up being your legacy simply because of the obstruction ... and the gridlock that doesn´t seem to end?" Obama´s reply was telling. "I think if I´m arguing for entirely different policies and Congress ends up pursuing policies that I think don´t make sense and we get a bad result," he said, "it´s hard to argue that´d be my legacy.

A Saudi Arabian activist said his government provided Egypt´s military with $1 billion to stage a coup against former president Mohammed Morsi and install interim leadership. Political activist Mujtahid bin Hareth bin Hammaam, who operates an active Twitter campaign aimed at exposing corruption in the Saudi government, said Gen. Republican lawmakers blasted a proposal by President Obama on Tuesday to cut corporate taxes in exchange for more spending on job-training programs, calling it a revival of a failed plan that would raise taxes initially. “It’s just a further-left version of a widely panned plan he already proposed two years ago — this time, with extra goodies for tax-and-spend liberals,” said Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Republican. “The tax hike it includes is going to dampen any boost businesses might otherwise get to help our economy.” Mr. Obama visited an Amazon.com distribution center in Chattanooga, Tenn.,

Conservative bloggers went wild Monday when they got wind of the Congressional Black Caucus’ suggestion that President Obama pick Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee of Houston for the post of Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security. According to all reports, Juror B29, the sole nonwhite juror on the George Zimmerman trial, said the neighborhood watch volunteer got away with murder. But Slate´s William Saletan says not so fast, and accused the network on Friday of deceptive editing and manipulation to get the answers they wanted. According to Saletan, the juror -- identified only by her first name, Maddy -- has "been framed as the woman who was bullied out of voting to convict Zimmerman." But, he said, that´s simply not true. Saletan said she stands by the not guilty verdict. "She yielded to

There have been days since her son Ezekiel was born 11 months ago that Los Angeles mom Beth Capper has gone without food to keep up her supply. One friend was arrested for stealing some. It´s not drugs or alcohol or even baby formula that has put her in such a bind. It´s diapers. "There´s no way around buying them," said Capper, a 41-year-old single mother who doesn´t work because of a disability. Across the country, mothers like Capper are facing the same predicament. According to a report published Monday in the

America is in great shape energy-wise. We have more gas and oil reserves than ever before. Indeed, the United States could shortly become the world’s largest exporter of coal. Our cheaper power rates may bring energy-intensive industry back from Europe and Asia. If America’s small colleges are nearly broke and our public schools failing, nonetheless our blue-chip universities’ math, science, and engineering departments, and professional schools, remain the best in the world. Anthony Weiner may have violated federal law when he failed to disclose his lavish six-figure wedding in his financial disclosure forms, says a government accountability group. Ethics watchdog group National Legal and Policy Center examined the federal Financial Disclosure Reports for both Weiner and long-suffering wife Huma Abedin for 2010, the year of their wedding. The cost for the ceremony was at least $100,000 but probably ran closer to $250,000 including all

Many low-income families receive government assistance to help them purchase food and housing. Diapers are another story, a new study suggests. In what they are calling the first peer-reviewed study to quantify diaper need, Yale University researchers have found nearly a third of mothers cannot afford to purchase their infants diapers, raising health risks for not only babies but for moms who become stressed over the finances. "Notably absent from the antipoverty efforts targeting families is an essential staple for the health of children, diapers," wrote the researchers, led by Dr. Megan Smith,

Mideast: The sequester has "cost jobs," says President Obama, and "gutted investments in education and science and medical research." But somehow he´s earmarked $500 million for Hamas terrorists. Circumventing Congress and with no fanfare, President Obama last week issued an executive order enabling him to send an additional $500 million directly to the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank — much of which you can bet will wind up going to the Iranian-backed Hamas terrorist organization. According to Obama, "it is important to the national security interests of the United States to waive the provisions of" Congress´ legislative restrictions "in

Karl Rove and more than one hundred Republican donors sent a letter to Republican members of Congress on Tuesday, urging them to pass a comprehensive immigration reform bill that would include, among other provisions, granting "legal status" to illegal aliens who meet certain criteria. Anticipating that lawmakers will face resistance to the bill when they go home for the August recess, the letter marks the escalation of a campaign in which Republican leaders and donors are pressuring House Republicans to act on an immigration reform bill.
