Philly Abortion Clinic
Workers Saw Few Options

Associated Press, by Maryclaire Dale

They say they were just doing what the boss trained them to do. But eight former employees of a run-down West Philadelphia abortion clinic now face prison time for the work they did for Dr. Kermit Gosnell. Three have pleaded guilty to third-degree murder. And Gosnell, 72, is on trial in the deaths of a patient and seven babies allegedly born alive. In testimony at the capital murder trial this past month, an unlicensed doctor and untrained aides described long, chaotic days at the clinic. They said they performed grueling, often gruesome work for little more than minimum wage,

FTA: "Williams was hired to clean instruments but soon helped anesthetize patients, perform ultrasounds and carry out abortions, cutting babies in the back of the neck."

Cutting babies (BABIES?!?) in the back of the neck, a/k/a/, severing their spinal cords.

AP consults their thesaurus to find the most benign way to describe the absolutely horrendous actions of an abortionist.

" And Gosnell, 72, is on trial in the deaths of a patient and seven babies allegedly born alive."
The seven infants basically decapitated by Gosnell , per the Grand Jury report / were a week´s worth.
From the Grand Jury report :
“What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable, babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors.”
The monster has been in practice for decades.
The math is breathtaking in it´s horror.

I would guess that some small report would be provided, after all, it´s Friday, and the audience is greatly diminished.

If it was so grueling, and at minimum wage, why would they stay? Welfare is a better deal, and you don´t have to murder babies to get it.

They (the victimizers) are trying to play the innocent victim. That doesn´t wash.

The media and maybe the law turns their heads because they too are depraved.

FTA: "fighting false billing and racketeering charges" What false billing? Abortion is almost entirely a cash up front business because Medicaid doesn´t cover it. My guess based on a case in Chicago is Medicaid fraud. An abortion clinics will get the information from poor patients and then fraudulently bill the state for covered services that were never performed. In most Democrat controlled states there is zero interest in prosecuting because no one wants to link abortion to the rackets.

For Gosnell to get away with this for so long it is hard to believe that no officials knew about this guy´s slaughter house. My guess is eventually it will be found that there are others who were on "the take" to allow him to continue his office of death.

I posted this reply to a thread overnight, so the thread is buried:

All of these articles -including yesterday´s Must Reads - make my heart physically hurt. It´s so sickening and depraved, and so much a product of the rotten core our society and culture has become over at least the last 4 decades. The aching for these babies is overwhelming and the fact that it was allowed to continue for years and years....we don´t deserve God´s grace and love in the country. And on this site we now have a self-identified abortion doctor as a poster, which is mind-boggling itself.

My heart just hurts, and I can´t read about this anymore.

-- Now I have to add this from a nurse perspective: I have had to work alongside some horrific practitioners, some negligent ones and some who seemed not to give a hoot about patient outcomes, since they get paid either way (until just recently, that is.). If I as a licensed RN EVER got wind through even sheer rumor there was anything like this going on, I´d have made it my life´s mission to ensnare the b-....and idiot staff along with him.

The state DOH knew enough-they are criminally complicit to murder multiple times over, aside from every other violation. While the women went to him either under duress or not, I can´t find anything that supports innate intelligence, common sense, or understanding of what they should´ve understood upon entering this hellhole. Family members, too.

It´s actions like this that will cause GOD to create a holocaust to cleanse the earth. The unbelievable evil that mankind can commit upon others is mindboggling. I fear that we are rapidly coming to the point that we will no longer be a GOD fearing nation. It seems that daily, more and more people push the CREATOR aside and follow whatever whim that they think of. It´s sickening.

Seeing the incredibley awful horrific images of slain innocents bravely posted at Ulsterman I can only think…We are complicit. I am complicit …

While I never agreed with abortion…we as a society had a responsibility to those among us, particularly these innocent babes, these miracles of life yanked from their mother’s womb…We had a duty to have stood and to have fought relentlessly against these atrocities. To have stood by silently as our most precious gifts from God are dehumanised, tortured and slaughtered…is so far beyond wrong.

Seeing this is a reminder and a reflection of who we have become. We had a duty to protect those among us who could not protect themselves. I think of the times I thought about an abortion protestor on trial for bombing a clinic, or a facility that performs these slayings and intellectualised the issue…and now see my response was woefully inadequate and fiercely lacking. We Americans are no different, no better, than those who stood by in Nazi Germany as their neighbors were taken from their homes to the horrors of the concentration camps and ovens.

We have closed our eyes and our consciences to the horror of aborion. As a result we have become soulless… and indifferent to right vs. wrong. Is there any surprise our society, our families, have broken down and are disintegrating before us, …when we do not even stand against the most repugnant mortal sin of murder of the most innocent among us. I am so ashamed of what we have tolerated and who we have become.

The insanity of “situational ethics” being taught to our children is nothing less than the numbing of their consciences to accept the most grievous wrongs and heinous actions as perfectly acceptable and legitimate. May God have mercy on us. We don’t deserve it. The sins we share with Babylon in Isaiah 9 could not be more clear to me now. Good Lord, what have we become?

The world we have been blessed with is undeniably blemished and until America stops being a chamber of horrors we will live or die with the reflection of our choices. The images are a reminder of the collective blood on all of our hands, the atrocities we let go forth…. “Do not ask for whom the bell tolls …it tolls for thee”

And when we wonder how did a man such as Obama, a man whose only legislative agenda was to mandate babes who survied this evil, be left to languish with no comfort, no food, no blankets, no help of any kind…to die on a cold hard table in the corner of an operating room…a newly born baby treated like expendable trash…

When I wonder how did such evil as Obama come to live in our White House and to lead our once blessed nation..I will now know. It is not confounding…. His ties to the evil sin of abortion make it crystal clear why he lives in our White House…He is a reflection of us. He s the perfect reflection of our nation, …who we have become and who we now are…Obama is exactly what we have earned …We deserve him.

Until we, until our nation examines our conscience and makes changes…we cannot hope to do better.

Because, like Richardson, they believe they are entitled to vote more than once against a system they see as unjust. Some serial voters do what they do in order to exact revenge against a society they feel did them or their ancestors wrong. Richardson is far from alone. Double-voting is distressingly common. Many leftists have contempt for the electoral process because they don’t believe in the electoral system as it is constituted in capitalist America.

HIDALGO, Tex. — Border Patrol agents in olive uniforms stood in broad daylight on the banks of the Rio Grande, while on the Mexican side smugglers pulled up in vans and unloaded illegal migrants. The agents were clearly visible on that recent afternoon, but the migrants were undeterred. Mainly women and children, 45 in all, they crossed the narrow river on the smugglers’ rafts, scrambled up the bluff and turned themselves in, signaling a growing challenge for the immigration authorities. After six years of steep declines across the Southwest, illegal crossings have soared in South Texas while remaining low elsewhere.

Appearing on Thursday´s O´Reilly Factor, former CBS investigative reporter Sharyl Attkisson claimed that CBS "had barely begun to scratch the surface" of the "Fast and Furious" scandal before the network moved on from the story. She noted that the network showed similar reluctance for its coverage of Benghazi and the ObamaCare rollout. Before her resignation last month, Attkisson covered Obama administration controversies like "Fast and Furious" and Benghazi and her reporting helped the CBS Evening News win the Edward R. Murrow award in 2012. Yet she told O´Reilly that higher-ups at the network moved on from the

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has accused the panel´s top Democrat of prompting the Internal Revenue Service in 2012 to target a conservative organization applying for nonprofit status. Issa said records obtained last week from the IRS show communications from the office of ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., about True the Vote, a Texas-based, nonprofit conservative group that aims to prevent voter fraud. The communications at one point involved Lois Lerner, the ex-IRS official who Issa´s panel is poised to hold in contempt of Congress on Thursday for refusing to provide testimony about her

Attorney General Eric Holder strayed from prepared remarks to slam the way he was “treated” by a House committee the day before, calling it evidence of “ugly and divisive” civil rights challenges facing him and President Barack Obama. Speaking to the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network at its annual convention in New York on Wednesday, Holder talked about the state of civil rights today and brought up a House committee hearing Tuesday that grew contentious, according to video from Mediaite and reports from outlets including Capital New York. “The last five years have been defined by significant strides and

The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. "She is not welcome here in San Diego by so many of us. We don´t want her here," said Jan Iverson, a local mother and protestor. (Snip) Clinton´s office says she changed plans because of

Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Barack quickly stepped in and grabbed the First Lady´s billowing skirt to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction and embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moment. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!

A new review is questioning the effectiveness of two key drugs enlisted in the fight against influenza and in turn the investments by governments to stockpile the drugs in the event of a global flu outbreak. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or

Big Government: As students flood Twitter with images of inedible slop, it´s clear that Michelle Obama´s government school lunch revamp is a costly failure. It´s time to get the feds out of kids´ lunch boxes. The $12 billion federal student lunch program, which serves 30.7 million kids, is losing participants fast — more than a million just last year, according to a recent Government Accountability Office report. Solar power has won the global argument. Photovoltaic energy is already so cheap that it competes with oil, diesel and liquefied natural gas in much of Asia without subsidies. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle. Michael Parker and Flora Chang, at Sanford Bernstein, say we entering a new order of "global energy deflation" that must ineluctably erode the viability of oil, gas and the fossil fuel nexus over time.
