Kim Jong-un Wants Phone
Call from Obama - report

Korea Broadcast Service, by Staff

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 4/8/2013 6:56:50 AM

North Korea’s young leader Kim Jong-un is waiting for United States President Barack Obama to make a phone call to Pyongyang to discuss easing tensions on the Korean peninsula, according to Russia’s news agency Itar-Tass. The report cited United Kingdom diplomats, saying Pyongyang was demanding the U.S. president personally call Kim Jong-un as one of the conditions to relieve the current conflict at hand. Itar-Tass also quoted the U.K.’s Sky News as saying North Korea currently has eight nuclear warheads.

Michelle should call instead. They can talk about their unique haircuts.
But speaking of Michelle, Barry ought to send her over there to kick the little brats ass....and she´s just the guy to do it.

This falls in the category of negotiating with terrorists: Jong-un is holding the US hostage to the threat of nuking us if we don´t accede to his demands for the POTUS to phone him.

What´s interesting is how these two dictators, Obama and Jong-un, with spar with each other. If past is prologue, Obama will capitulate. If he does not, Kim is nutty enough to launch.

We live in dangerous times, the least danger of which is Kim.

Another brat needing parental input. Wonder if is HIS Daddy wasn´t there for him like with the "won"....? Maybe kimmie and obama have that in common.....

Makes me appreciate my husband. He was raised to be a man and I benefit from his "knowing how to be" a man.

The "nags" (as Limbaugh calls the feminists) sure made a mess of the male population. Wanting them to be more "in tune with their feelings" has produced a generation of whimps....

Funny jokes people, but I am not laughing.
The last Korean war was no Joke.
I lost 2 close friends in that war and another lost both legs.
Right now we don´t know which side China is on for the time being.
BHO´s silence is deafening as is the UN.
My guess is none of the other nations that joined into the first Korean War, want to get into another.
Most of those are too Broke now to afford it. And we are the Brokest.
Japan is an ancient Korean enemy and IMHO, their national defense status is not ready for war.
And too Russia is just sitting in the bleachers to watch.
The UK is deaf and blind and Canada, because of its proximity to USA may give some hands to help out...maybe.
I´ll wager too there will be another Draft. Too this guy will use his nukes.
Putin says Chernobyl will be nothing compared to what will be the after effects of the use of nukes.
I´m not laughing. A lot of people will die.

If people loose that ability, we will loose our collective minds. It truly does not mean that we don´t care. We are just sick and tired of the insanity going on right now.

You are correct, #34. We can easily beat the NKs in a war of modern weapons but if it goes to the trenches, they are a tough, resilient people. They could take out both South Korea and Japan before our impotent CIC comes in off the golf course and makes his decision where to hide. Having a nut job for a leader will not affect that.

We are too comfortable in our belief that North Korea´s nuclear arsenal is limited. In 1945 the U.S. had exactly three nuclear bombs. One was tested in the desert of New Mexico. The other two (Little Boy and Fat Man) thereafter were promptly exploded over Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The question isn´t what North Korea can do. It can create a huge mess. The question is what the U.S. will do in response. In the 2008 presidential primary, candidate Obama gave his own answer. If two U.S. cities were hit by nukes, he would effectively deploy FEMA in the aftermath. In a three minute answer, not a word about a military response.

I wonder would Kim be satisfied if Obie sent him all the money he saved by cutting the missile defence program at the exact wrong time. It probably won´t be enough. It costs a lot of money to prop up a moribund economy to be as wealthy as the vibrant economy in S Korea! Everyone better put your computers and microelectronics into a faraday cage right away. It is not a great defence for what is coming but it is better than nothing!

Gov. Chris Christie, R-N.J., turned down the opportunity to bash the mainstream media on Friday, when interviewed by Fox News host Megyn Kelly. Kelly pointed out, during a part of the interview aired on Friday, that there was an unprecedented volume of negative media coverage surrounding the bridge controversy in New Jersey. "Has this changed your view of the mainstream media?" she asked. "No, I´ve always had the same view," Christie said, pointing out that anyone can be the "flavor of the month" in the media. "But I´ve always said to my folks in the party, we don´t get anywhere complaining about it either,"

Republican pundit Charles Krauthammer said that when Republican New Jersey Gov. Not a phrase I would use on television, since the image is too disturbing.” Krauthammer did use

In a way it´s the oddest bit of ObamaCare propaganda we´ve seen so far. "This Is What an #ACASurge Looks Like" was the title of a Saturday post on the White House Blog by senior communications adviser Tara McGuinness. "The line started forming at 5 a.m. in front of an enrollment center in Miami," McGuinness boasts. "The final deadline to get covered in 2014 is in just two days, and Americans are literally lining up at grassroots events across the country to make sure they´re covered. This is what momentum looks like." To McGuinness´s credit, she does mean "literally" literally. The post

Suddenly ObamaCare is a roaring success, happy days are here again and liberals are euphoric, or claim to be. There are more than a few reasons to doubt this new fairy tale, not least the behavior of Senate Democrats running for re-election this year. In the Rose Garden Tuesday, President Obama reported that 7.1 million people had signed up so far, confirming a Monday night White House news leak. "That doesn´t mean all our health-care problems have been solved forever," he conceded with customary modesty. The government appears to have tapped heretofore-unknown reserves of bureaucratic efficiency by releasing numbers timed to

And this morning on Fox & Friends he was asked by Steve Doocy, "Okay, Senator

RUSH: It is an all-out Regime and media swarm on Obamacare. We are being pummeled. We are being beat upside the head. We´re being beat on top of the head. They´re hitting above the belt and below the belt. They´re creaming us out there. ´Cause guess what? They hit their seven million. Overnight they got something like five million people to sign up. They got their seven million. The media´s so excited. ABC News and Washington Post, in a piece de resistance, has a poll out that shows for the first time ever a plurality now favor and want and

Benghazi: Before the administration told the world the false narrative of the attack on our compound, the CIA´s station chief in Libya pointedly told his superiors in Washington that no spontaneous demonstration occurred. We didn´t need any more proof that the president of the United States, Barack Obama, his secretary of state, Hillary Clinton, and his United Nations ambassador, Susan Rice, repeatedly and deliberately lied to the American people. They told the public that the terrorist attack on our Benghazi diplomatic mission was a spontaneous demonstration that went rogue in response to an Internet video. We will nonetheless get more proof on

Islamofascism: With an eye toward the 2016 election, the radical Muslim Brotherhood has built the framework for a political party in America that seeks to turn Muslims into an Islamist voting bloc. ´Muslim voters have the potential to be swing voters in 2016," said Nihad Awad in launching the benign-sounding U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations, whose membership reads like a Who´s Who of Brotherhood front groups. "We are aiming to bring more participation from the Muslim community." USCMO also aims to elect Islamists in Washington, with the ultimate objective of "institutionalizing policies" favorable to Islamists — that is, Shariah law. This development bears careful

Health Care: The administration is crowing that 7 million people filled out applications for ObamaCare plans — the original enrollment target that once seemed impossible to hit. Don´t pop the champagne bottles just yet. Given the news about surging enrollment and rising poll numbers, maybe Nancy Pelosi was right that Democrats will all benefit in the fall from ObamaCare. Except that once you strip out the hyperbole, little remains to celebrate. • Seven million enrollees? That figure fails to discount those who haven´t paid their premiums. Among the eight states releasing this number, about one in five "enrollees," on average, haven´t paid.

Regulation: The White House has released a Climate Action Plan that includes the targeting of methane emissions from cows and other barnyard animals that threaten the planet through belching and other, er, activities. It´s our lust for cheeseburgers that´s dooming the planet through climate change, the Obama administration said in a Climate Action Plan released Friday that seeks to save us all from ruminant livestock. Having already blamed the Industrial Revolution for what we used to call weather and temperatures that have flat-lined for 15 years, the White House is now targeting American agriculture abundance by slashing methane emissions from cows by

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., has accused the panel´s top Democrat of prompting the Internal Revenue Service in 2012 to target a conservative organization applying for nonprofit status. Issa said records obtained last week from the IRS show communications from the office of ranking member Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., about True the Vote, a Texas-based, nonprofit conservative group that aims to prevent voter fraud. The communications at one point involved Lois Lerner, the ex-IRS official who Issa´s panel is poised to hold in contempt of Congress on Thursday for refusing to provide testimony about her

Attorney General Eric Holder strayed from prepared remarks to slam the way he was “treated” by a House committee the day before, calling it evidence of “ugly and divisive” civil rights challenges facing him and President Barack Obama. Speaking to the Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network at its annual convention in New York on Wednesday, Holder talked about the state of civil rights today and brought up a House committee hearing Tuesday that grew contentious, according to video from Mediaite and reports from outlets including Capital New York. “The last five years have been defined by significant strides and

The son of the Nevada rancher locked in an increasingly tense land dispute with the federal government, says their cowboys managed to break a blockade and retrieve around 30 head of cattle. Federal agents swooped on Tuesday after Cliven Bundy, dubbed the last remaining rancher in southern Nevada, refused to remove his herd of 900 cows from land he claims has been in his family since 1870. The heavily-armed federal agents, equipped with eight helicopters and backed-up by snipers, surrounded the Bundy ranch after the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) attained a federal court order to confiscate the family´s herd. Barack Obama got quite the handful on Thursday, April 10, but it was all for a good cause! As the President of the United States was boarding Air Force One with his wife Michelle Obama, a gust of wind blew up her skirt. Barack quickly stepped in and grabbed the First Lady´s billowing skirt to help her avoid a wardrobe malfunction and embarrassing Marilyn Monroe moment. Earlier in the week, another famous lady on the global stage suffered a similar snafu, but no one was around to help her -- not even her prince!

A new review is questioning the effectiveness of two key drugs enlisted in the fight against influenza and in turn the investments by governments to stockpile the drugs in the event of a global flu outbreak. The antiviral drugs Tamiflu (oseltamivir) and Relenza (zanamivir ) are commonly used to treat influenza in healthy adults and children. In the case of Tamiflu, the drug does shorten symptoms of influenza by about half a day - as the manufacturer suggests - but there is insufficient evidence to support claims that it reduces hospital admissions or serious complications, such as confirmed pneumonia or

Big Government: As students flood Twitter with images of inedible slop, it´s clear that Michelle Obama´s government school lunch revamp is a costly failure. It´s time to get the feds out of kids´ lunch boxes. Solar power has won the global argument. Photovoltaic energy is already so cheap that it competes with oil, diesel and liquefied natural gas in much of Asia without subsidies. Roughly 29pc of electricity capacity added in America last year came from solar, rising to 100pc even in Massachusetts and Vermont.[Snip] The technology is improving so fast--helped by the US military--that it has achieved a virtous circle. Michael Parker and Flora Chang, at Sanford Bernstein, say we entering a new order of "global energy deflation" that must ineluctably erode the viability of oil, gas and the fossil fuel nexus over time.
