Mother Of Slain Benghazi
Officer To Sean Hannity:
‘They Want Me To Shut Up’

Mediaite, by A.J. Delgado

Original Article

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Hillary, Panetta and Obama are soulless frauds.
Mrs Smith raised an American officer who was set up to die by their incompetence-or was it more sinister?
They are all unfit to command.
Hilary should be hounded at every speech by the Ghosts of Benghazi.
Why did not one Republican ask her where she was during the entire seven hour ordeal?
Why did they not ask her why she allowed them to be be killed when State had foreknowledge and the money was there to add additional security?
How could our government have a ceremony for Mr. Smith and NOT pay for his mother to attend?
Good for Sean Hannity for ensuring she gets there and giving her a forum to speak.

Worse yet, the Hildebeast pulled out that reserve military unit that Stevens demanded should stay in Benghazi to protect them and shipped them to a Caribbean Island for a school athletic event. Imagine that. A school athletic event was more important than protecting those U.S. citizens in Benghazi.

Hillary should have been fired on the spot..Obama should have been questioned about why he felt like he could go to a fundraiser in CA while our Ambassador was being murdered. Our news media can no longer be called news..They don´t cover serious news which might put Obama in a bad light. They covered a video taken of Romney at a private fundraiser by a bartender longer and harder than they covered Benghazi. Heads should roll!

Benghazi should be hanging around Zero and Hillary´s necks like a Flavor Flav clock necklace. But, who is there to hold them accountable?? The media did all they could to completely ignore this disgrace. And it will continue to assure Hillary becomes president in 2016, for sure.

Unbelievable!

I´m surprised someone hasn´t mentioned it yet -
Can you imagine the unbridled outrage of the media in this country if something like this happened under the Bush administration? It would be relentless 24X7 coverage!
Methinks the Obamboozler has finally acquired defacto dictator status!

I wish the rest of the families would speak out. They need to band together and make it their life´s goal to find out exactly what happened to their loved ones. Think back to the Bush administration when Cindy Sheehan dogged Bush and the media covered it every night on the news. If there is one thing that has done unmeasurable harm to this Republic it is the media. They would have taken down a Republican president in a heartbeat. Goebbels´ Ministry of Propaganda can´t hold a candle to the main stream media in this country. A revolt against these vile organizations would be an excellent start to dismantling the hold the progressives have on this country.

We can´t let Benghazi be swept under the rug. It will have to come from the people because the Republicans don´t have the courage or will to press this issue. These men and their families deserve more than the self-serving circus we witnessed in those hearings. Our government sat on their hands when Americans were begging for help before the attack. That they did nothing when it was going on, is unconscionable. At the time of the attack, their total focus was the impact this attack would have on Obama´s re-election. Obama´s administration sacrificed these Americans for political gain.( I apologize for the lengthy post.)

What really kills me are the number of Democrats I personally know who are not remotely interested. Obama is THEIR guy and they don´t care if he is killing innocents collaterally from drones (so he doesn´t have to interrogate anyone at Guantanamo) or covering up gun running or not protecting our staff in Benghazi (and going to bed early so Obama would be fresh for his next campaign flight---and where WAS Hillary Clinton throughout this?) but were it George Bush or a Republican they would be looking for impeachment for any of these situations, storming the barricades like the villagers coming for Dr. Frankenstein. What bloody hypocrites, and in this I include prominently the Brian Williams´ of this world! They are sitting by while our country becomes a government dominated state and say nothing---because these are THEIR people and they, somehow, think THEY would be hit themselves down the line. FOOLS! And they will push for the lovely Hillary next presidential round, ignoring her LONG file of dishonesties.

Mrs. Smith would have received her answers from a President Romney by now.
I know she was shocked and grieving but
had she pressed for answers and contacted politicians and talk radio people sooner, the msm would not have been able to hide the facts before the election, and Obama would have been forced to explain.
Why didn´t she contact Romney? He could have made this an issue in a debate? The American People deserve answers which so far have not been forthcoming from Obama and Hillary and Panetta.

Martin Niemoller´s famous quotation fits so well with this event, although some of his "victims" are no long sympathetic characters.
First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out--
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me--and there was no one left to speak for me.

The silent Republicans need to remember this quote. Instead of trying to "work" with Obama, they should use the last four years of his term to hold his feet to the fire and to expose him for the dictator he claims not to be. - Just my opinion.

#14 “..I´m surprised that one out of the thirty rescued wouldn´t talk- at least for money, if nothing else. Of what are they afraid?
What were they promised?…”

Might be they were visited by a couple of suits in dark glasses who arrived in a black government sedan with antennas on the roof who explained how income tax returns can be red-flagged for yearly audits and how names can ‘accidently’ be placed on No-Fly lists and Security lists that preclude gun ownership. Little stuff like that. Maybe include the whole extended family!

The reason -- bubbette clinton wasn´t asked WHERE she was during the murdering of our Americans -- IS -- because THEY already knew...

She was in Latin America at a party for women talking about the dangerous "woman´s issues" facing South America.....

She´s a political hack!!!! She rode her husband´s coat/tail into office and then was offered the Secretary of State job to shut her up and to pay off her campaign debt....

It´s all sleazzzzzzzzy politics. AND -- Mrs. Smith might want to watch her back. Soon she´ll get a visit from bubbette clinton´s cronies about her pets -- like Kathleen Wiley did -- when she testified against bubba clinton. Her cat now sleeps with the fishes....

I think this entire issue will prevent Hillary from reaching her dream of being POTUS.

She shouted "what difference does it make", and her inability to SEE "what difference is does make" proves that she is not fit for office.

I only wish that ALL of the parents, family, friends of those murdered in Benghazi would step forward, together. NOW. I´m certain that they are worried about the repercussions from the Gov´t. But if they are front, center and in the news and they tell people what backlash they are receiving, it puts the pressure on Gov´t NOT them.

My "newspaper" had a very glowing article about Hilary - it´s starting already. It´s up to all of us to go to her rallies and ask her very politely about Benghazi. Times have changed and changed quickly. When Kennedy failed to report the accident that caused the death of the young woman, he knew his dream of becoming President was over. Now someone like Hilary can actually think about running and winning - where is this country´s conscience and morals. She is partially responsible for Benghazi and her boss is responsible for the the other part.

U.S. court could tip against president

When a prominent U.S. appeals court last year slashed President Obama´s power to appoint government officials, many legal experts said the Supreme Court would be unlikely to let that surprising decision stand. But that view may underestimate the allure of the lower court´s reasoning to the dominant, conservative wing of the high court, which takes up the case Monday. In its January 2013 ruling involving "recess appointments" to a key regulatory agency, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit repeatedly invoked the nation´s early history and a literal reading of key constitutional terms. Such an "originalist" approach in

What if Americans rebel against

The Obama administration is trying to persuade millions of uninterested, or perhaps reluctant, Americans to purchase health insurance through the Obamacare exchanges. But the heart of Obamacare is coercion. If Americans fail do what the law´s Democratic authors believe is best, the federal government will punish them, through the progressively higher penalties of the individual mandate, until it hurts more not to buy coverage than it does to give up and purchase it. But what if many of those Americans rebel? Even if they know having health insurance is better than not having it, what if they refuse to be

Obamacare: Clearly and Consistently Negative

Political parties’ real electoral danger isn’t overwhelmingly negative public opinion, but opinion clearly and consistently negative. The reason is obvious: Political parties are neither stupid enough — nor long survive — taking hugely unpopular positions. The bad news is Obamacare looks to be the kind of clearly and consistently negative issue that leaves the administration and Democrats damned if they do, and damned if they don’t. The political landscape clearly shows political parties are more likely to face political difficulties from issues that decidedly and consistently run against them. Most contentious issues exist and persist with both parties hovering around majority

Before Chris Christie’s first scandal devolves into an obsessive quest to prove who knew what, when, it’s worth pausing to appreciate the wonderful, quintessential New Jerseyness of the incident itself. What happened, roughly, is this. On August 13, Bridget Anne Kelly, one of Christie’s three deputy chiefs of staff, sent an email to David Wildstein, a Christie confidant serving as an executive for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, which controls much of the transit infrastructure of northern Jersey. Kelly said that it was “time for some traffic problems in Fort Lee.” Some speculate that the precipitating

It was late June 2008, and Hillary had dropped her bid for the presidency earlier that month. The war room, where her brain trust had devolved into profanity-laced shouting matches, was empty. The data crunchers were gone. The political director had drifted out. A handful of Hillary’s aides had already hooked up with Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign in Chicago. Balderston’s salt-and-pepper beard gave him the look of a

DONNA, Tex. — In this Rio Grande Valley town of trailer parks and weedy lots eight miles from the Mexico border, people call them runners or politiqueras — the campaign workers who use their network of relatives and friends to deliver votes for their candidates. They travel around town with binders stuffed with the names and addresses of registered voters, driving residents to and from the polls and urging those they bump into at the grocery store to support their candidates. Despite rumors that some politiqueras went over the line in encouraging voters, the tradition continued in Donna and other border

Obamacare Forces States to Accept
Applications ‘Signed’ by Voice

The Obama administration’s interest in creating a streamlined application process for Medicaid, CHIP, and subsidized health insurance via the state Obamacare exchanges has come at the expense of effective security and fraud prevention. As of January 1, 2014, this easing of requirements now includes the mandate that states accept applications completed entirely via telephone. Rather than require such applications be later accompanied by the electronic or mailed transmission of a signed document, HHS instead requires states to accept a spoken assent on a telephone call as the equivalent of an actual signature. Says J. Christian Adams, PJ Media legal editor

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- For the fifth straight day, hundreds of thousands of people in West Virginia had to wash, cook and brush their teeth with bottled water, but officials promised the ban on tap water that was tainted by a chemical spill would soon be lifted. Over the weekend, tests showed levels of the licorice-smelling chemical used in coal processing were consistently below a toxic threshold, and in some samples, there was no trace of the chemical at all. As the tests were expected to continue Monday, there were still questions about how and why the leak occurred and whether the

YOU get to know all the old people. This is what no one tells you when you live in New York City and decide to work from home, but it’s true. One generation’s “off-peak hours” is another’s “hours.” There they are, walking their rickety dogs at 10, doing their laundry at noon, checking their mail at 3, asking you if you know how to operate a VCR machine at 6. You can be ill at ease with this, seeing it as a premature separation from your rightful generation, or you can choose to embrace it. Marilyn helped me embrace it. She

He was in high school and quite brilliant. The kind of kid who didn´t pick up a book all year and aced all of his honors and AP tests -- in complex subjects like Physics. He was also musically gifted. But he couldn´t stop smoking weed. The school and his parents did all they could; he even took up sports so he wouldn´t go home after school and smoke. The more he smoked, the more he slacked off, the less frequently he attended class, did his work, and participated in class. They finally expelled him. He was last seen walking on 101

Most government scandals involve the manipulation of the system in obscure ways by people no one has ever heard of. That is why George Washington Bridgegate is nearly a perfect scandal — because it is comprehensible and (as they say in Hollywood) “relatable” to everyone who has ever been in a car. This is the reason this one is not going to go away so easily, even if one accepts the contention that Gov. Chris Christie had nothing whatsoever to do with it.(snip)Journalists know the Obamans. Hillary Clinton warns in a new book that the “clock is turning back” on women across America and offers a passionate argument for prioritizing the advancement of women and girls. Clinton, the former secretary of state and possible presidential contender, is one of a slew of high-profile contributors to a new report set to be released Sunday compiled by author and activist Maria Shriver and the liberal Center for American Progress. “[Fighting] to give women and girls a fighting chance isn’t just a nice thing to do,” Clinton writes in “The Shriver Report: A woman’s nation pushes back from the

Hi, everybody. Yesterday, we learned that in 2013, our businesses created 2.2 million new jobs — including 87,000 last month. Our unemployment rate is the lowest it has been since October 2008. And across our broader economy, there are signs of progress. [Snip] We’ve cut our deficits by more than half. Thanks to the hard work and sacrifice of the American people, our economy is growing stronger. But we know we’ve got more work to do together. It depends on the success of the American people. It depends on your ability to make ends meet and provide for your families.

A violent ex-con has been charged with multiple counts in the road rage shooting death of a 21-year-old female Georgia college student. Sparkles Lindsay, 22, followed Kimberly Kilgore, 21, into her gated apartment complex last year and shot her to death while her best friend sat in the passenger seat and watched in horror, police say. Ms Lindsay faces a charge of malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

First Lady Michelle Obama hits a milestone birthday—age 50—on Jan. 17. And five years after she moved into the White House, the nation pays rapt attention to her every move, from her Let’s Move! program to curb childhood obesity to her hair and her outfits. Of turning 50, the first lady says she’s “never felt more confident.” When asked about her thoughts on the landmark in her Parade, August 18, 2013 cover interview, she replied: “What you learn is that each decade brings a new set of challenges but also a new set of possibilities. Earlier this week, there was a spring in conservatives’ step. That was because Chris Christie was in deep doo-doo. His career seemed to be imploding, over Bridgegate. Conservatives hadn’t been so happy since the Obamacare rollout (which wasn’t that long ago). The end of Christie’s career would not be a good thing — for New Jersey, for the Republican party, for conservatism, or for the country. He is a valuable conservative, one of the most talented politicians in America. We are lucky to have him on our side — general side. Lately, I have been more and more impatient with 100-percenters —

Chris Christie took the first step in damage control Thursday by apologizing and announcing he was firing two of his closest aides connected to a scheme to jam up traffic on the George Washington Bridge. But despite a textbook press conference, his longer-term political problem is likely to be from his own party, where the scandal is giving a legion of under-the-radar Christie skeptics room to criticize the governor.Christie´s base has always been his New Jersey inner circle and Wall Street donors enthused over his electability and pragmatic approach to governance. By contrast, Christie never engendered deep support among Washington

Michelle Obama entered the White House as a chimera. To some, she was emblematic of fully realized African American womanhood and an incomparable fashion icon. To others, she was the voice of racial grievance, the nanny state and Seventh Avenue vanity. She has proved herself to be neither vengeful nor the patron saint of activist feminism. Yet misperceptions linger. So as she celebrates her 50th birthday, here are a few facts in the face of persistent fictions. 1. Michelle Obama is the most fashion-friendly first lady. Obama has been a pronounced and polished advocate for American style, seamlessly moving from

Monday For many years now, I have endured a mild skin disorder, rarely fatal. I usually am monitored by a fine doctor in Rancho Mirage. But I wanted a dermatologist near our home in Beverly Hills, so I asked around and got a reference for a Dr. Wang, as I will call him. (Not his real name.) This afternoon, I entered his tiny waiting room, introduced myself to the young women behind the counter and smiled. The women asked me to fill out several forms, which I did and handed them back.

With media attention focused on Chris Christie and Bridgegate, it was easy to miss a more important Washington story last week. The other shoe dropped on the Obama presidency. Still battered at home by the ObamaCare debacle and the permanently sluggish economy, the last thing the White House wanted was bad news on foreign policy. But that’s exactly what it got, and then some, thanks to the shockingly scathing book by Robert Gates. The former defense secretary offers the most devastating critique to come from an Obama insider. He paints the president as estranged from the very Afghan military surge he ordered

A LEADING American divorce mediator will visit Washington this week to offer members of Congress advice on ending the "tiresome bickering" between Republicans and Democrats. If US tabloids are to be believed, she may need to visit the White House first. Michelle Obama´s extended absence from Washington and a flurry of renewed speculation about the state of the first couple´s marriage are threatening to overshadow her 50th birthday party at the White House on Saturday. Not for the first time in their 22-year marriage the Obamas are approaching what should be a happy family milestone under a cloud of rampant tabloid innuendo, summed
