Hillary Clinton Would Not
´Clear the Field´ for 2016

New Republic, by Tod Lindberg

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

Ummmmm.... An inept, inexperienced, incompetent, anti-American, socialistic muslim-leaning, ex-lawyer doofus kicked her butt in the primaries of 2008.

What has changed since then?

All Hillary would have to do is stop the left´s war on business to be successful. But nobody really knows where she stands on anything but prototypical leftists stances.I don´t think the country wants a woman president, especially after the failed experiment with Obama. But if MO gets in and you can´t rule her out given the Obama´s egos,we´ll have a repeat of the 2008 primary.

Like Obama, Hillary is a creation of the progressives in the democrat party. They have an agenda and all they need is someone to front it. And how she had a 70% favorability rating when she left office is laughable. Really? Americans are okay with the SOS letting four men die begging for help both at the time of their deaths and then evidently for months prior to their deaths. If she does run, I hope the Benghazi massacre dogs her every step.

With the well oiled Democrat organized machine vote and use of voter fraud expertise, Democrats can now put any doofus in the WH. They have reduced the office to the status of an American Idol winner. The GOP should stay focused on the House and Senate. Under current circumstance no white GOP candidate will ever be elected pres again. In the future this may apply to Democrats as well.

This country managed to "elect" Obama twice. Do you really think the average Obama voter even knows or cares about Bengazi? They´d be back at the polls (repeatedly) in a New York minute for Hillary.

The beltway elite are up to their "blood sport game" already...

Look --- this ole bubbette (wife of the bubba clinton) has many problems. Among them a health issue -- she an avid drinker -- hence she falls down a lot. She´s never gotten the American "folk" to excuse Bengahzi. Her screaming at the hearing "what does it matter" -- only proves what WE all know. She´s a shrew who threw things in the White House endangering staff and let her bubba abuse women. The final insult to these women -- was -- she tried to silence them.

She´s a propped up has/been who rode her husband´s coat/tail into office. Under her watch as Sec. of State the middle/east fell into the hands of dangerous dictators. When our Ambassador in Bengahzi was being killed she was in Latin America partying and discussing "women´s issues".....

She ´cleared the field last time around with the help of stolen FBI files ( ask, Evan Bayh and others). For some reason, her mud machine just couldn´t find anything to thwart Barack Hussein Obama in 07-8 . Yeah, riiiight! He has accomplished most of what this fellow Alinsky-ite desires for the country and couldn´t have done herself. Now she thinks it´s time to slither in and oversee the ´change´.

Good grief 41% of Republicans approved of her performance as SOS! If true no wonder the GOP is for amnesty, big govt spending, GLBT legislation, gay marriage, etc. This once great country will be destroyed if she gets elected. She will finish anything that bo couldn´t destroy. I have very little hope left that the destruction being inflicted upon by Democrats can be stopped.

Imagine her as representative of U.S. all over the world? Ick.
Starting with the leftist Children´s Defense Fund she has been a radical since college.
She shamelessly USED Bill, Chelsea and ALL the people around her with calculating lies, rudeness, aggression and foul language.
We want her as our representative?

Oh sure, she has the media peeps in luv with her now. ´´It´s her turn´´, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah. But let´s see who else the DimRats can come up with by 2016 (other than Crazy Uncle Joe, that is). They find a black or hispanic WOMAN, and HerSelf will be history again. Obama´s appeal to low information voters was his cool demeanor and a very soothing, authoritative voice. He was the Allstate man as presidential candidate. Hillary comes across like the 4th grade teacher they all hated- She looks very old, she sounds like a scold and her´s is a style of feminism with very little appeal to younger voters.

Let us never forget Billary was the drive behind the health care plan, adopted by the Obominator, named after him, and is a mess no matter how one looks at it.

She answered the phone at 30AM, and did nothing. She twists herself in knots not to answer a question and she, no matter how one looks at is, is responsible for the deaths of four men who have more honesty and courage than she and bill put together.
That is unless it is to line their pockets or gain power.

She´s an old & getting-older-every-minute nothingburger who dreads the day when she finally is irrelevant. Nobody knows as well as she does that that day is fast approaching. She´s the kind of broad, that once she gets everything she wants, she doesn´t know what to do with it. If she found herself seated in the oval office, she´d soon be asking, "Is that all there is?" She sold her soul long ago & the devil will come knocking. She really has nothing to show for her long, criminal career - she doesn´t even have her own husband´s affection or respect. I think just like our other chip-on-the-shoulder president, BO, she´d spend all of her time paying off grudges & taking care of what looks like, declining health.

Just wanted to send up an early "GAG ALERT" for Sunday morning. For some reason, the folks who throw my big city newspaper throw what when I delivered papers on my bike would call the "guts" (preprinted, ad inserts, etc.) on Saturday.

Anyway, among the things that will ruin your Sunday morning is that the Parade insert has Hillary & Bill´s kid on the cover and I think they bumped everything except the Hollywood question page off the issue to extoll the virtues of this beloved and highly exalted child.

Gosh, I never see anybody write anything nice about Republican kids.

But Lord help those who complain about Democrat kids living high off the government.

#1, what has changed is the ability to fix elections. The technology was available for the 119 troubling counties that swung the election for Obama. Maybe it goes as far as the citing in "Skyfall.} What has changed is the overthrow of the republican party, which will offer up Jeb, or a gay candidate lite to suppress the base. What has changed is that, with 4 exceptions, both sides are sold out to a new world order. What has changed is that the word "treason" has been "style edited" out of use by the AP. Of course the democrat candidate has to have absolutely no scruples. Who has absolutely no scruples better than Hillary Clinton?

#32, an EBT card is the food stamp payment instrument, a debit card for the account...

Food stamps formerly were paper coupons to be presented like paper currency.
Now it´s on a plastic card similar to debit or credit, and the user has a PIN...
Personal Identification Number to enter to make a transaction occur at point of sale...
Deposits to the account are made electronically, also, usually monthly...

EBT probably stands for Electronic Benefit Transfer, just a guess...
someone will know and post it...

You´re not gonna axe what LoFo is... are you? .... (j/k)

evening and night 9/14. Did she immediately fly back to Washington to report on the attack on the Consulate. We all knmew in the USA so she must have known that 4 American heroes were fighting for their lives. We all are sill waiting for the Commander in Chief to report on Benghazi . We know he went to bed that eveing since he had to face another day in Vegas on the taxpayers dime for more money for his next election.Getting back to this liar Hillary. I would like to ask anyone even Democrats why they would vote for Hillary for President. Of course, indicate why Hillary including Benghazi deserves to be the next Commander in Chief. Advice to Democrats: Don´t say ´recovery´
Associated Press, by David Espo    Original Article

WASHINGTON - Election-year memo to Democratic candidates: Don´t talk about the economic recovery. It´s a political loser. So say Democratic strategists in a blunt declaration that such talk skips over "how much trouble people are in, and doesn´t convince them that policymakers really understand or are even focusing on the problems they continue to face." In addition, Stan Greenberg, James Carville and others wrote that in head-to-head polling tests the mere mention of the word "recovery" is trumped by a Republican assertion that the Obama administration has had six years to get the economy moving and its policies haven´t worked. President Obama has warned that Iran is not open for business, even as the United States has loosened some of its punishing economic sanctions as part of an interim nuclear pact. Yet, on Tuesday morning, Iran had an unlikely visitor: a plane, owned by the Bank of Utah, a community bank in Ogden that has 13 branches throughout the state. Bearing a small American flag on its tail, the aircraft was parked in a highly visible section of Mehrabad Airport in Tehran. But from there, the story surrounding the plane, and why it was in Iran — where all but a few

Saying they can no longer ignore the rising prices of health care, some of the most influential medical groups in the nation are recommending that doctors weigh the costs, not just the effectiveness of treatments, as they make decisions about patient care. The shift, little noticed outside the medical establishment but already controversial inside it, suggests that doctors are starting to redefine their roles, from being concerned exclusively about individual patients to exerting influence on how health care dollars are spent. “We understand that we doctors should be and are stewards of the larger society as well as of the patient in

Hillary Clinton may end up deciding she wants to spend the 935 days until election 2016 making corporate speeches and spoiling her grandchild. Recent events have exposed weaknesses in Clinton’s supposedly impregnable armor, gaps through which a Democratic or Republican challenger could damage, perhaps even defeat her. The bad headlines to which she has been subjected are enough to make anyone—anyone who isn’t a Clinton—think twice about running for president. Look at the polls. This week’s Fox News poll has Clinton’s favorable rating at its lowest point in six years. She is at 49 percent favorable, 45 percent unfavorable—similar to her

President Barack Obama used his Thursday press conference to diagnose Republicans as fear-mongering, spiteful, obstinate, petulant and obstructive, as he again declared mission-accomplished in his effort to put the nation’s health-care under government control. “I recognize that their party is going through the stages of grief — anger and denial and all that stuff — and we’re not at acceptance yet,” Obama told reporters, where he announced that his Obamacare network had claimed 8 million subscribers. Obama coupled his passive-voice diatribe with his more-in-sorrow-than-anger promise that he “would much prefer a constructive conversation with the Republicans about how do we get some

The captain of a ferry that sank off the coast of South Korea Wednesday, leaving nearly 300 people missing, is under investigation as a possible criminal and was one of the first people to escape the doomed vessel, Coast Guard officials said. Lee Joon-seok, 69, left the ferry on a lifeboat 32 minutes after reporting an accident, officials said. The captain appeared on Korean television today, his face covered by a gray hoodie. “I am really sorry and deeply ashamed,” he said, as he was being questioned at the Mokpo Coast Guard Office. Soon after the tea party era began in Congress in 2011, President Obama and House Budget Committee Chairman Paul Ryan each released their budgets, proposing how much the government should tax and spend over the rest of the decade. Three years into that budget showdown, Mr. Ryan and his Republican colleagues are winning. Government spending has slowed, and Mr. Obama’s plans for higher taxes and higher spending have fallen by the wayside. “The discretionary spending has in fact been driven by Republicans post-2010 clamping down,” said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former director of the Congressional Budget Office who is now president of the

Reading them, it struck me that this argument would benefit from laying down some specific markers for the near future, because Klein seems to move back and forth between two definitions of success. At times, as when he writes that Obamacare “has won its survival” and

It’s no secret that Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) and Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) don’t like one another. They battle regularly over legislation and their Senate floor fights over arcane-but-important rules have become must-see entertainment for senatorial insiders. According to aides in both parties, the two leaders have not had a one-on-one sitdown to discuss legislation (or anything else) since late last year. Nowadays, all business is conducted on the phone or in brief discussions on the Senate floor. Part of that feud is political – Democrats targeted McConnell in 2008, Republicans targeted Reid in 2010, Democrats

Jews have reportedly been told to ´register´ with pro-Russian forces in the east Ukrainian city of Donetsk. They were also told they would need to provide a list of property they own as well as being ordered to pay a fee or face the threat of deportation. U.S. officials in Washington say leaflets bearing the chilling order have recently appeared in the city amid pro and anti-Russian protests as tensions rise in the area. It comes after Jews leaving a synagogue in the city of Donetsk were reportedly told they had to ´register´ with Ukranians trying to make the city part of Russia.United

After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. She read the cruel posts and Internet snark about her appearance, and it was just too much. “It got to me like it gets kids and teenagers,” she told the Associated Press. The “Vertigo” actress, considered one of the great beauties in her day, posted a note on her Facebook wall Thursday, acknowledging that she’d gotten fat injections in her face and addressing her halted

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

To "honor the dignity and work of immigrants," Democratic House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi helps Bishop Marc Andrus wash the feet of two children Thursday at Saint John the Evangelist Episcopal Church in San Francisco. Pelosi also used the occasion to talk about passing HR15 - bipartisan immigration legislation that her office says would "reduce the deficit by nearly $1 trillion, secure our borders, unite our families, protect our workers and provide an earned pathway to citizenship." The Democratic leader´s ceremony coincides with Pope Francis´ similar ceremony in Rome to mark Holy Week.

Imagine a vendor on the National Mall, selling burgers and dogs, who hasn’t paid his rent in 20 years. He refuses to recognize his landlord, the National Park Service, as a legitimate authority. Every court has ruled against him, and fines have piled up. What’s more, the effluents from his food cart are having a detrimental effect on the spring grass in the capital. Would an armed posse come to his defense, aiming their guns at the park police? Would the lawbreaker get prime airtime on Fox News, breathless updates in the Drudge Report, a sympathetic ear from Tea Party Republicans?

First, the good news: We are close enough to the end of the Obama presidency for his crowd to talk about a presidential library. Now, the bad news: Obama´s retirement is still 1,008 days distant. Plenty of time though to round up the dough to build it somewhere. Figure they need Solyndra-style money, at least $500 million. The last two presidents – Bill Clinton and George W. Bush -- built their legacy edifices totally with private money. [Snip] However, Obama supporters have a different take. They think taxpayers should put up $100 million in public money for Obama´s library.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. And no, it’s not just the fact that having a grandchild could be personally fulfilling to Hillary and Bill (mazel tov, by the way), or that a cute baby would be a sweet cherry on top of Hillary’s already

Campbell and his fourth wife, Kim Woolen, decided to go public with the news because Campbell hoped to embark on a final farewell live tour. The couple wanted his

The first step is admitting… It was a simple question to someone accustomed to much tougher ones: What was her proudest achievement as secretary of state? But for a moment, Hillary Rodham Clinton, appearing recently before a friendly audience at a women’s forum in Manhattan, seemed flustered.(Snip)So…no definitive successes and some clear-cut failures. And that’s the generous New York Times assessment. The Democrat fantasy story about Mrs. Clinton paints her as strong and accomplished on her own. GOP presidential hopefuls are largely steering clear of Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy’s fight with the federal government. The showdown, which left armed militia members and feds staring each other down last week, has captivated talk radio and cable news shows, turning Bundy into a conservative cause célèbre. Yet Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) and Mike Huckabee, a former Arkansas governor and 2008 presidential candidate, are the only big-name Republicans to have spoken out on the dispute so far. Tea Party favorite Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has been silent, and Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) and Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) have also not
