That´s the headline of a commentary piece at the website Buzzflash which is a blog from the far left, radical Truthout publication. At first I thought it was an April Fool´s joke - something The Onion would pull, so over the top it is. But this unintentionally hysterically funny screed is what passes for deep thought on the left these days. Here are some choice excerpts for your reading pleasure:

Imagine changing the word white to black in that headline.
The outcry would be heard from NY to CA.
How much of this double standard are we going to put up with?
White Christian Males are being targeted.

Ever notice that, no matter the subject, for a liberal it invariably leads back to discussions of sex or bathroom functions?

To add to #5. Liberals have few areas of real expertise. Most of them can´t make anything or do anything that is valuable to themselves, to others, or a customer base. (I´d grant an exception perhaps to Hollywood film makers and to the software industry.) The only thing that they really understand is basic body functions. That is why reporters can´t report on economic issues, complex financial transactions, or anything not simplistic. But once sex is introduced into an event, every reporter will be on that story.

We know liberals don´t have any kind of special endowments because whenever they do a protest, they feel compelled to take off their clothes; we´ve seen what they look like. It ain´t pretty. Or impressive.

One could also infer the reverse, that people who oppose gun rights prefer forced victimhood. They are the ones who cant enjoy intimacy without being restrained or belittled.

Government schools are working on the young coming up the line. By punishing them for pointing a finger like a gun, munching a pop tart into a gun shape, or a chicken nugget, they will brainwash them to fear anything that faintly resembles a gun, therefore as adults, they will have a fully developed aversion for guns. Add to this, the insistence by schools that children lose their desire to defend themselves and have no contact sports, and their job is done.

LOL, #2. Let me guess, you ´got up in their face´ and explained all these sheeple theories to them. The funny thing is I´ve seen these hyper liberals turn on a dime and suddenly wonder where THEY can get a gun, right now. Once when it seemed like a class 3 sexual offender was going to be moving into the neighborhood and another time when their neighbors house was broken into. The rest of the time they continue to talk about a subject they have no experience with or knowledge of. Watching thousands of hours of TV gun porn is no way to get up to speed about the history of or use of guns.

Alas, another reporter asked me the same question I have been repeatedly asked for the past five years. “As an African-American, why are you a member of the Tea Party?” It dawned on me to ask the reporter, “If you are a thinking patriotic American, why are you not a member of the Tea Party?” It is stunning that reporters cannot see the absurdity and racism against white voters in their assumption that Tea Party membership (pushback against Obama's agenda) equals racism. Two of the biggest and best-connected lobbyists in Washington, DC are divorcing each other, and in the process they are placing on the public record the amazing wealth that can be generated by helping rent-seeking powerful interests shape the laws and regulations that separate Americans into winners and losers as the state confiscates a fifth of our GDP and regulates much of the rest. How does the Republican Party establishment choose its presidential candidate? Typically, constitutionalists accuse their establishment rivals of being moderate, risk-averse, stubborn old fools who lack faith in conservative principles. This is a soothing interpretation, as it begins from the hypothesis that the contest between conservatives and the GOP elite is a family feud. But there is another hypothesis -- less soothing, but, at least from an outsider´s bird´s-eye view, more reconcilable with the facts. This hypothesis is that America has reached a stage of progressive soft despotism in which the only important family feud in national politics is between the fundamentally

Although the Civil Rights Act, the landmark legislation which just reached its 50th anniversary, made great strides in desegregating the economy, economic discrimination is still widespread, and anti-discrimination legislation alone can never rectify the economic damage inflicted upon blacks by slavery and our Jim Crow apartheid regime. The Civil Rights Act was a mild reform, all things considered, but one conservatives fought with vigor and one many conservatives are still bitter about to this day. When the Civil Rights Act passed in 1964, the primary purpose was to root out discrimination in public accommodations (like hotels and movie theaters)

It’s hardly been a secret that in recent years the moderate center of the Democrat party has been driven away and what remains is a conglomeration of disparate blocs which, to date, the party has been able to treat as if there were no conflicting interests between them. As the midterm elections approach and the administration’s incompetence, along with the distaste for the president’s signature ObamaCare legislation, drive the party’s chances down further, the make-believe coalition of opposites may well crumble if the opposition doesn’t blow it.
