BET Founder: ‘This Country Would
Never Tolerate White
Unemployment at 14 or 15 Percent’

Cybercast News Service, by Melanie Hunter

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 3/30/2013 10:36:40 AM

Black Entertainment Television (BET) founder Bob Johnson said Tuesday that the nation would “never tolerate white unemployment at 14 or 15 percent” and yet unemployment for the black community has been double that of white Americans for over 50 years. “This country would never tolerate white unemployment at 14 and 15 percent. No one would ever stay in office at 14 or 15 percent unemployment in this nation, but we’ve had that double unemployment for over 50 years,” Johnson said while speaking at the National Press Club about the gap between whites and blacks in America.

But of course the Obama Administration is not responsible for any of it; nor can they do anything about it. Right?

I don´t even want to get into the government manipulations in all the above areas.
On another note: Makes me wonder how many blacks he has hired. . .

Here´s some news for Mr. BET Founder,
The white unemployment IS probably 14-17% and negro unemployment is probably 30% but the Obama communist propaganda media won´t give you a clue.

This would shift the blame onto the man you voted for. Don´t blame the people who voted against Obama blame yourself and ´your people´ for this fine mess and destruction of a nation. Racist!

Re: "Somebody’s going to have to pay for them. Somebody’s going to have to take care of them, and if somebody’s going to have to take care of them, that money’s got to come from somebody......" Johnson said.

We are paying for them, Mr BET, in the form of welfare, food stamps, health care, housing and rent subsidies, free phones, free abortions, child tax credits and more benefits. We are also paying indirectly, from police and enormouse prison costs to school guards, disrupted class rooms, anti-white and anti-Asian affirmative action. List of what we pay is very long while the list of what we gain is very short.

Mr Johnson ignores the success of black immigrants from the Caribbean and Africa. He only wants to focus on blacks who prefer to be slaves to the cruelest of masters, the federal government.

My family or my husband´s family didn´t have the money to send us to college either but we worked hard at going to school and having a job at the same time. We didn´t receive any kind of aid or scholarships but we had to work hard. It wasn´t easy but we did it. I don´t care what color, nationality, religion or whatever but a person is not immune from having to put effort into their livelihood. Nobody is stopping anyone from doing that.

The BET founders problem how do you blame George Bush. Many in the black community have moved into the middle class, but a certain segment are doomed to generations of poverty due to government programs that strip an individual of pride and motivation. If you look at poor whites who participate in the handout culture, you will see the exact same attitudes. If you think in terms of human capital the waste of human potential is mind boggling.

Well now, the vast majority of black folks have hitched their horses to the liberal Democrat wagon, and the liberal Democrats and their political allies know that they have the black vote in the bag.

The other day there was an article in the media indicating that the unions and the liberal Democrats are about to agree on a foreign "guest worker" program, as a part of their proposed amnesty for 11 to 20 million illegal aliens, that would allow 200,000 low skilled foreign workers to come to the USA in each future year. Once here they could work, change jobs as they wish, and could apply for permanent residency and eventually US citizenship. Once that amnesty program gets rolling, just the "guest worker" portion of it would potentially guarantee the Democrats 200,000 new foreign born voters starting in a few years, numbers that would multiply each year on into the future. That does not even count the 10 million or so new voters that the Democrats would eventually pick up as a direct result of the amnesty itself.

If the liberal Democrats, and some cheap labor Republicans, are successful in inundating the low end of legal US job market with such a massive glut of foreign workers willing to work at low wages, it is doubtful that the black unemployment rate will ever go down, in fact if such a "guest worker" program becomes reality, a much larger portion of the unskilled black population group will be lucky to ever get a job at all.

Yup - - those´ll solve the problem - - easily.

If you´re really interested in determining the root of the problem, break down ´household´ into more definitive groups, eg. married couple with children, single mom w/ kids, single w/ no dependents, whether on welfare, unemployment comp, disability, etc. AND include in the median household income all receipts from govt progrms (believe it or not, welfare in all its multifarious forms s NOT included in govt stats on poverty, median income, etc. Obama has managed to stealty ush The average total welfare expenditure per household to around $30,000/year while vastly increasing the number on the dole.

I don´t tolerate black unemployment at 15% either, but the Dims that run the government insist on programs and economics that condemn blacks to 15% or greater ++ poor schools to keep them on the plantation.

I guess they never will learn to break from this type of slavery.

When black school children mock those trying to learn for "acting white," these are the outcomes. Someone needs to tell these kids that not every wannabe rapper is going to make it. But it doesn´t matter when our government welfare programs make you a sap for even wanting to work when you can stay home, watch TV all day and sell a little weed for Newports and cheap brandy.

I recently watched a documentary that showed Black Harlem in the 1920s. Most people were well dressed. Whole families were out walking the streets and going to church together. Blacks owned restaurants, nightclubs, and fashionable stores. The streets were clean and neighborhoods well kept. And this was when discrimination was widespread and there was no government assistance.
Maybe BET can tell us what changed since then to make things much worse for blacks?

#19 hit the nail on the head re Bob...his speech, at this venue, after spending money on a poll, is designed to build a case for Hillary, who Bob supported over Obama in 2008. He´s for more of the same welfare mentality/plantation but one with PIAPS as the overseer.

#14 underscores what needs to be the focus!

Do we need ANOTHER war on poverty program? LBJ launched a huge one and it cost the country TRILLIONS of dollars and that war was lost from the start and still goes on...the losers were the taxpayers that worked, tried hard to get ahead for themselves and their children but had to support the millions of recipients that didn´t work and still refuse to work. See them on TV claiming they don´t want a job, they want a career...they already have one. It´s called ´handout professionals´ They won´t work but demand what the working types have and if they are refused they claim racism...They are so uneducated that they keep re-electing the very ones that keep them down. All they want is an image of a dream, a black man in power but do nothing to attain it. How can anyone pity that? Who wants to contribute to that? Go ahead and push for illigals to come here...then they really will NEVER get ahead and they WILL wind up working for the ´Latino Man´ for their lifetime and that of their illegitimate hoards...few will escape this fate.

FTA: 50 percent of African-Americans blame the “failure of the education system for minorities/African-Americans”

This is only part of it but at least they realize one truth.

I work in a technical industry. The proliferation of Asian cultures in this field blows away the rationalization that racism is the problem of the African-American culture.

Besides the failure of the education system, there is a run-away (read: growing fast) lifestyle of dependence on government. We can argue when this started (post-Civil War?) but it´s clear that it´s snowballing quickly thanks to the squeaky-wheel politicians.

The government programs have only hurt by increasing dependence. But the worst part is they contribute to the breakdown of the family. This is the final nail-in-the-coffin for a culture.

However, Democrats need their votes. This puts blacks in a catch-22 situation. They are dependent on government for their current situation but fear voting for a Republican (who may improve their life situation) will take away their benefits.

At this point, I think only the second coming of Christ could help improve things.

Like the Administration, blame anyone but themselves. Couldn´t be caused by one person head of households, no high school degree, teen pregnancy, idolizing rappers and their crude language, accepting Government benefits as their entitlement for past discrimination,
having children without a means of supporting them, and so forth. We have a Congressional BLACK Caucus, which infuriates me. They are supposed to represent ALL the citizens, not their partisan 12-13% of the population. Any non-lawmaking group in Congress should be banned. All my opinion.

Bob Johnson has done more harm to black culture than anyone in the history of the world.
BET programming facilitates and encourages the corrupt gangbanging, rapping, hatred of women, crime, drug and alcohol abuse.
It is impossible to imagine a white person or persons doing more harm to blacks. Not Bull connor, not George Wallace, not Orville Faubus, not Robert Byrd.
BET is helping to bring down those in the black community who try to leave the plantation. And it justifies the behavior of those who act like animals. Shame on him. May God have mercy on his soul.

The real unemployment rate would be in the low to mid-teens if we weren´t adding more to the "disability" rolls than we are adding jobs.

Something like 250,000 are added to disability each month. We´re lucky to break 200,000 jobs.

And if nearly half of those new jobs weren´t coming from Texas as they are, we´d all be in a world of hurt.

There are millions of illegal immigrants working in the US, and Democrats want them legalized to make it even easier for them to take American jobs.

Until Blacks get tired of competing for jobs in their own country, against people who have no right to be here, they will continue to elect Democrats, and those Democrats will continue to sell them up the river. Mr. Johnson ought to be smart enough to connect the dots.

#36, exactly how do you know discrimination was widespread in 1920?
And if the documentary was true and ´discrimination´ (which isn´t necessarily a bad thing) was widespread, then apparently it isn´t discrimination that is the cause of the ´plight´ of a majority of blacks these days.

This chucklehead sees a fire and complains he has no marshmallows.

If we saw white unemployment at 14 and 15 percent (which is close to where it actually is) then the country would be experiencing unemployment around that level. Chucklehead remembers that whites are still a majority race in this country, but his math is of the million-man-march variety and he fails to understand what that means.

he should be demanding why Obama has failed the Black Community, not suggesting that Whites are being mean to blacks.

Programs like the War On Poverty and such are what CAUSED most of the problems in the black community. #11, while it may be true today because of generations of indoctrination, it wasn´t the black community in general that discouraged hard work, sel-reliance and such in the beginning. It was done with the "help" of the paid-off Democrat puppets in the form of so-called community leaders, local politicians, reverends, and others the Democrats groomed to keep the community dependent, in poverty, and self-destructive through peer pressure and other coercive means in addition to the destruction of inner city schools. These leaders were given money, power, prestige and all sort of goodies to keep their people in line and believing the Democrat lies. I wouldn´t be surprised to find this head of BET was not only a product but has made it to where he is today as a result of Democrat payoffs to ensure he keeps perpetuating the lies and propaganda. He is right in the middle of that snake pit being in entertainment

#65, I believe that BET is white owned now. Owned by racist white Democrats working against the blacks as usual. This mess all started falling downhill in the 60s when the Dems did an about face publicly (while remaining insidiously racist covertly). They did a major propaganda campaign along with those insidious LBJ policies and lied about the dixiecrats all becoming Republicans. Somehow, they convinced the people that the parties swapped ideology back then and there was some sort of mass exodus from one party to the other. But it NEVER happened. Somehow, the GOP never did anything to clear the record. The party has let the Dems lie constantly for nearly 50 years unchallenged. How do you undo such damage? But the truth is out there. It just needs to be told!!!!
