Deceiver in Chief
American Spectator, by Ron Ross

Original Article

Posted By:StormCnter, 3/20/2013 6:25:28 AM

Barack Obama’s most dangerous talent is his ability to make people believe he’s something he’s not. He is not recognized for whom and what he is, especially the fact that he does not like the country he’s governing. He is effective because he has successfully hidden his true objectives. (Snip) The key ingredient in his power lies in his ability to deceive. People do not want to believe that he does not like the country. Our country is in collective state of denial. Barack Obama is arrogant, intolerant, mean, dishonest, vengeful, and ruthless. He does not wish us well.

Amen.
If anything, Ron Ross is too easy on his assessment of Obama.
Obama´s resemblance to Satan in "The Bible" mini-series is right on the mark.

All true. Coupled with the fact that he is not Natural Born Citizen, and is quite likely an illegal alien, makes the situation extremely dangerous. You don´t have to be a conspiracy nut to wonder if obama may have America´s greatest enemies on his speed dial. And that those people may sculpting our path forward.

If America had elected a foreign agent to the White House, with the mission to destroy America, how would it look different from now?

I think obama is a more current version of the World Trade Center bombers. He is version 2.0.

Reply 4 - Posted by: Spidey, 3/20/2013 7:08:09 AM     (No. 9234364)

What´s funny is you really can´t accuse Obama of being a traitor because he might not be a real American to begin with.

Yeah,it´s very hard to figure out why half this country hasn´t caught onto him yet or maybe it´s just willful ignorance.MSM backing is worth millions of dollars of free campaign spending.

If I´m not mistaken,MO was just voted the best dressed woman in the country, this is the kind of nonsense that´s hard to penetrate with the lofos.Wearing $4000 outfits doesn´t mean they accentuate the body type.

Sarah had a killer outfit on the other day but she wouldn´t stand a chance of making this list. Her broadband watch with the flag stripes on it was awesome.

Fortunately, obama´s talent only works on half of the US population. The rest of us see him as the slimy snake that he is but the votes of the clueless have the same value as ours. Three years, ten months to go.

Reply 6 - Posted by: Arby, 3/20/2013 7:08:59 AM     (No. 9234368)

True enough, but the diehard dims never want you to know their real agenda. If they were honest they would never get more than 5-10% of the vote.

Reply 7 - Posted by: chance_232, 3/20/2013 7:19:37 AM     (No. 9234377)

I have a problem with this article. Not with anything that it says, because it´s all true. The article sings it to the choir. What it will not do is convince anyone who isnt in the amen corner. For those who havnt made up their minds on Obama, this article comes across as mean spirited, name calling and sour grapes.

If your trying to change minds, you have to convince them that your position is correct. The problem here is that the article puts forward a series of accusations as if "we all KNOW" them to be true, with no real supporting evidence other than "we all know it to be true".

And this is why we continue to lose elections. We DONT educate the electorate on the issues or facts. We ASSUME that they should already know.

If you are a "progressive" Obama supporter, you are consciously rooting for each deception Dear leader pulls on the nation. Deception is the root and branch of their agenda, so each lie elicits a smug nod of approval. Republicans make the huge mistake that "progressives" want what´s best for the USA. That´s the very last thing they want. Which is why Obama is their savior.

#7 Is right on if this was written by the New York Times or any other msm type it´s impact would be dramatic. But it will be ignored or dismissed as just more ranting by far right wing nuts. But it is nice to know to others believe Obama is intentionally destroying the country. He is a deceiver - he takes credit for the increase in US oil production while he has done everything he could to stop oil production/eploration on Federal lands.

Preaching to the choir inspires, encourages and motivates the choir. It validates their feelings and beliefs, raises morale and prompts them to effective action. All mass movements involve a great deal of preaching to the choir. It is a fundamental misunderstanding to imagine that this dynamic is unnecessary, ineffective or counterproductive. Without preaching to the choir is no religion, sacred or profane.

It is also a dangerous but unfortunately widespread misunderstanding that there is anything conservatives can do, say, not do or not say that will eliminate or even mitigate the hatred of the cultural institutions and radicals of the Left for everything that is not Leftism. Leftism, like Islam, is divided into the House of Peace(Islam) and the House of War(not-Islam, infidels, unbelievers). The fanatical element of militant Leftism is engaged in permanent jihad(struggle) against everything that is not itself. It is a dangerous delusion to imagine that ordinary political engagement can be successful with zealots whose ultimate aim is to eliminate all opposition and to enforce total submission to their ideology.

Had John Boehner been an effective leader or even a competent politician he would have taken advantage of the opening offered by the reporter´s absurd "trust" question to express dignified concern and reservations, saying that he would certainly hope and like to do so, that time would have to tell, and ticking off a partial list of reasons to entertain some skepticism.

Instead, for reasons known only to himself, Boehner answered as though he were a complete, clueless, incorrigible fool by saying, contrary to all evidence, that he "absolutely trusts" a man that no one in their right mind should even dream of trusting.

The real problem is that many if not most of Obama´s supporters know he´s a deceiver...and they don´t care. They like that he´s sticking it to America and frustrating the heck out of conservatives. They dig his cool dude act. They dig the stuff he´s stealing from us and giving to them and their pals. Think of Obama as their Middle Finger President to the rest of us.

Reply 15 - Posted by: tasine, 3/20/2013 8:04:03 AM     (No. 9234447)

I respectfully disagree with poster #7 re teaching those whose minds you wish to change that you are right. That´s how I began blogging, and I never have convinced anyone on the left that I was right about any political issue. They can be shown data, which they blatantly refute because someone on the left had said it isn´t true. They can be read from the Constitution, and they will not believe that it means what it says.

It is as though most on the left have lost control of their own minds, their own brains, their own will. After all, can any, ANY logical person see Sarah Palin as the hate-filled enemy the left has portrayed her to be. Their thinking is nonsense, foolish, mean-spirited, and overflowing with hatred - and for the life of me I cannot understand how they have reached that level of hatred for people who have done NOTHING to them, NOTHING that will harm them.

I don´t disagree that more facts should be taught, but I do disagree that lack of knowledge is the reason we lose elections. The reason we lose elections is because most of our elections are crooked, stolen, and those stealing them either don´t know or care that what they are doing is subverting one of the most important protections from a runaway government. Our ballot box is terminally and fatally broken. Additionally, our candidates, for the most part don´t know or care two hoots about the US Constitution, which they should be able to recite backwards and forwards, especially the Bill of Rights.

Really, how hard is it to grasp the meaning of "shall not be infringed upon"?

Many of his supporters have know he hates the nation, and support them because they feel the same way. They will hang on to their envy to the very end, even if it leads to their own destruction. I blame the media, even though most of his media supporters are just useful idiots who don´t share his hate for the nation, but actually believe that he has good intentions.

AND - the truth shall set US free......

The obama WE see puffing and preening for the photo ops is dangerous for our beloved country...

He delights in "hurting" Americans of all colors.

Case in point -- hurting small school children with closing the White House tours for his BIG B-Day bash for Moochelle and now the cancelation of the Easter Egg Hunter/Roll on the White House lawn.

The release of the illegal alien felons into American society to hurt Americans is outrageous.

The thief of the stimulous money to send to his cronies and overseas despots is now understood....

So -- my fellow Americans -- WE the people are stuck with moochelle and his enemy operatives, i.e. valerie jarret the iranian, in our White House because no one in Washington DC has the courageous to act....

Hold on -- it´s gonna be a bumpy 3 and 1/2 LONG years...

Why would Obama love this country? He has never participated in any of the traditions that bind us together and give us a sense of community and country. Has he ever been to a T ball game, swim meet, state fair, campfire, scout meeting, car wash fundraiser, tailgate party, Christmas parade, covered dish lunch, fireworks show, shrimp boil, Easter egg hunt (not roll), Halloween party, hay ride, sunrise service, or lake party?
Has he ever choked up watching, the Vols run thru the T, the dotting of the I, or the planting of the spear? Has he ever stood on the dock filled with pride watching a carrier group returning from deployment and straining to catch a glimpse of your dad, brother or spouse? Has he even seen the Blue Angels perform?

Does he love this country?

I think not.

This is why he has published no budget. If he does, he will make choices and the People will see what he wants to cut. So he sticks with generalities and lets the Senate propose continued spending.

The Obama Project was made possible by 1) an easily corrupted voting system, 2) an ill-educated, ill-informed and gullible populace 3) an ambitious cabal of Leftist hungry for power. If the damage being done by this vile administration is to be stopped and repaired, we must 1) eliminate voting fraud 2) take public education out of the hands of partisans, and 3) defend the constitutional constraints on despotic federal power, constraints that are Kryptonite to the Leftists.

#7, I´d ordinarily agree with you but I don´t in this case, because with the rapid-fire short sentences of truth, the writer has laid it all out there for others to pick up and disseminate, planting seeds in the minds of those who presently support O.

For example, Rush and Glenn Beck and others will probably pick this up and run with it. There are always new radio listeners trying to discern the truth who will hear about it and perhaps say, "Yeah, he might have a point."

So while Ross´ piece will mainly be read by the choir, it´s SO pointed and SO controversial, that it will get coverage beyond normal channels. It´s possible.

All true but most dictators are citizens of their countries. Hitler was Austrian/German, Mussolini was Italian and Castro was Cuban. Obama on the other hand is not American and his success is that half the citizen people who support him share his hatred of the United States of Ameria.
I´m really struck that this happened less than ten years after the WTC destruction.
A muslim sympathizer and possible muslim is elected as president. Another thing the Obama´s black minions don´t realize is he hates them too and does nothing for them but they still vote the skin color.

Following on the thoughts of #12, 14 & 15, there are a series of 22 essays on liberalism and what it actually is at deprogrammingliberalism.com

Seems pretty useful and shows the futility of reasoning with libtards as long as they are programmed. Do you think the Jews arguing with the NAZI guards outside the showers or boxcars or camp gates had any effect? Nope. There´s only one way to deal with them as long as they are libtards.

I too always look forward to #12´s profound, well reasoned comments! What an incredibly truthful article about the despicable 0bama. The only thing missing from this article is the word "treason." If ever there was a profound example of it we sure have it here. I do agree with another poster about preaching to the choir. If the media had performed their duties as required by the Constitution we would never have been stuck with him for a second term, and possibly a first term. This is who 0bama is and anyone who thinks otherwise is extremely naive and an utter fool. There was more than enough evidence of this even when he was running the first time. It deeply saddens and enrages me that more people didn´t see it or chose not to recognize it.

I have family members who are still starry-eyed over Obama. But it isn´t the truth of the man, it´s the idea of the concept.

Obama sold himself as a concept that people could embrace. That´s how the media portrays him as well. So people simply can´t look at the truth because the reality is so far from the concept it´s devastating to them.

Pathetic, really.

Reply 45 - Posted by: Philipsonh, 3/20/2013 10:16:07 AM     (No. 9234703)

I disagree with one point in the article. Any informed individual knows what the President is. It was not us that voted him back into office. If you are a person on food stamps, or unemployment compensation for years, or subsidized housing, or SSI, or receiving the benefits of being a black farmer when in fact you have never been out of a city, and the other myriad benefit programs, who would you vote for. Someone who might adjust or take away all these benefits, or the person who would keep them in effect, and in fact, extend/increase them. These people do not care that they will never dig their way out of their mire, because most revel in the fact they receive much for doing ZERO, and that others are paying their way. Of course, not all people on any of these programs feel that way, but enough to have re-elected President Obama, regardless of how the USA is affected by his Administrations policies. How can a Sequestration, which is actually a reduction in the INCREASE in Government spending, have such an effect. The answer to that is one of the primary answers to what is wrong with the Country.

Reply 46 - Posted by: bpl40, 3/20/2013 10:16:44 AM     (No. 9234704)

Republicans (esp the RNC) have to get it through their ivory skulls that you are not going to win by changing opinions about the ´Rat Party or appealing to the better senses of Romney´s famous 47%.
Close to 40% of the voters never came to the polls. There are disproportionate conservatives in that pool. The other side has learned to make an offer to their base they cannot refuse. Vote for the other guy and the gravy train is over. It is a very powerful argument you are not going to win. We respond by nominating RINOs.
The key reason there is no connection between Zippy´s performance and his polls is that he has become the life boat of the moochers. The Democrats´ weakness is that this argument does not work as well when there is no ´condensation point´ like 0bama available. That is why they bombed in ´10 and will do so in ´14. On the other side there is no RINO head of the ticket to repel the conservative voters like 2008 and 2012. This is not rocket science.

describing the realities of this frightening

A dozen years ago, Dr Fick brought us his first bestseller THE DYSFUNCTIONAL PRESIDENT

Obama is the culmination of decades worth of the Progressives/Dems/Libs working their way to the ultimate seat of power to do all the damage they can.

I think one reason Boehner is so circumspect is Obama´s skin color and blind deference to the Office of the President.

And let´s face it - many/most of Obama´s supporters also hate this country, but the living is good here; spite all our historical misdeeds.

The only thing Obama has successfully hidden is who he is. I find it hard to believe he has any ability to make people believe him or his true objectives. If he has been successful if that´s what you want to call it, it is only because he is a puppet doing what his masters instruct him to do. I seriously doubt that his average supporter even knows what he is doing given the mass voter fraud.

I also suspect this is being done deliberately to bring the world under control by a bunch of insane fools who are so egotistical and crazy they believe themselves to be a higher authority than any other human being.

Is the brutal honesty in Ron Ross´s essay an effective antidote to Obama´s brutal dishonesty? The benefits, I fear, are only marginal. However, there is nothing else we can realistically do to change the minds of people who unthinkingly elect kakistocrats like Obama to public office.

Every now and then reality rudely intrudes on the most dedicated leftist´s intellectual vacuum. Witness Bill Maher´s belated realization that he is being financially screwed by living in California. I give him credit for speaking up. Now let him vote with his feet.

The reason for my four month vacation from this site was, among other things, despair over the realization that eighty years of creeping socialism (now galloping) isn´t going to be undone by arguments (except, as I said before, around the margins), however artfully they are crafted. Only a descent into the hell of another Depression and the resultant dissolution and unwinding of the government behemoth will lead to a new dawn.

I wish it weren´t so, but the avarice and ignorance of the American voter and both political parties (especially the Democrats) will be undone only by a near death national experience for citizens. And I´m being optimistic when I say near death. This nation is on the road to some unimaginably bad times. Obama will be reviled by historians of the future, if any historians are left amidst the wreckage.

2) Disagree with #27 that the Obammunist´s media supporters don´t hate the nation and are hoodwinked. Something like 90% of media hacks are leftist ideologues who believed wholeheartedly in "fundamentally transforming the nation" long before the O. got here. That´s why they went to the brainwashing/propaganda mills known as journalism schools to start with - to "fight for a cause." The cause IS that transformation. They and the Obammunist are joined at the hip in the destruction of the country.

3) Welcome back #57. I too have been trying to think out of the box for a while. All I come up with is either secession or a third party or both.

There is a very poignant scene in the movie "The Bridge on the River Kwai". It happens when Alec Guinness finally realizes that he has been in league with the enemy by building that bridge.
He simply says "my gawd, what have I done?", and he then begins to undo the damage he´s done. I pray that those words are soon spoken by a generation of liberal dupes in the USA.

Obama himself admitted that he´s a deceiver in Dreams From My Father.
On page 94 Obama details a fight he had in his senior year of high school with his mother when
she learned that his best friend had been arrested for drug possession.
He gave her a reassuring smile , patted her hand and told her not to worry ,
that he wouldn´t do anything stupid.
" It was usually an effective tactic-one of those tricks I had learned : People were satisfied as long as you were courteous and smiled
and made no sudden moves ."
This way those he was speaking to were " relieved " and
" pleasantly surprised " to find
a " well mannered black man who didn´t seem angry all the time ."
Obama was always angry , especially at his white mother and this trick usually worked on her
and other whites that he was able to fool.
But, she wasn´t falling for it .
Unlike the majority of Americans the last two presidential elections.
No one believes that Boehner trusts Obama.
C´mon.
What else is he going to say in public ?
Imagine the media frenzy if he said Obama was a lying sack .
" This proves that Republicans are racists and angry old men who hate everyone."
Boehner is smart enough not to take the bait.
I don´t understand why Boehner has to be bashed on every thread about Obama.

The Obama voters will only start to care when something effects them personally. He has so far been able to fix things so that this hasn´t happened. The jig will be up as soon as he runs out of other peoples money. All of the people I know that voted for Obama fit the role of unhappy, envious, lazy, self-centered, and down right dishonest. To writers: This is a cold spiritual war we are in. There are people who believe the Anti-Christ and the False Prophet are on the Earth. Different eyes and hearts see things differently than socialists. Note many here if they give a thought, could be wondering how or why a whole class of scribblers and scribes could lack all truth and patriotism. After all, until you were led to believe you were a set apart priestly class of elites, slightly below lawyers, but above virtually anyone living in up to 32 blue states, your calling was to be "The Watchmen Class" -- protected as such by the genius of The Constitution. If now see the chaos and "danger," which, in spite of the delusion spread by your gay socialist professors, is your job to report, you might want to tell us -- with whatever stammering tongue you have. Why? Because the elite scribes & teachers are going to be judged more severely than the "Rubes" and "Obamas" and the "Pelosi´s" and "Bernard Lewis´" and "Howard Zinn´s" and "Noam Chomsky´s" and "Saul Alinsky´s" and "Karl Marx´s."{Op. cit., Matt. 23; Mark 12:40, Luke 18:16]. You are not yet dead. You are not yet brainwashed about right and wrong. You are sons and daughters of Americans, and you have taken a drug.

But you have to know the art of word manipulation (like their leaders do). You can´t teach lefties in the usual way. You have to get them to think of issues differently. You have to make them think they discovered the answer on their own. It is about prying open their mind just a bit in order to have them look at something in a different way.

This article is great, but it´s in the American Spectator. When it´s in the MSM, then it will mean something.

#30, an incident from my younger days comes to mind. It was the mid-70´s, and our family was gathered at a beautiful upstate New York lake/picnic grounds. My Aunt looked at the gorgeous lake, surrounded by pine trees, and said that whenever she visited this place, she had the urge to sing "America," and sort of sang the first words.

People sitting nearby heard her, joined in, and soon the entire crowd, mostly strangers to each other, joined in and sang the whole song, followed up by "God Bless America." Does anyone here think that would ever be something the Obamas or their supporters would do?

#54, you´re right. Conservatives have been shouting this from the rooftops since Obama began running in 2008.

We got the full propoganda treatment, especially as very young students. New Years Eve the 15 of us sat in the bar of a Moscow club and belted out every patriotic American song we could remember. All the LDotters that were here pre-Coronation Day have known all of this. That this is not new news is not news. That this is placed in the public as news is not news. The news is that, even AFTER four years of THE WORST president in modern history, some people that live here (I detest calling them Americans or citizens) are STILL ignorant of this person and his desires.

For that, I blame the State Controlled Lapdog Media, Entertainment Media, and the Leftist school systems. The SAME people that DESTROYED the previous American President (and, just for practice, Sarah Palin and her family).

Until we rid ourselves of the Leftist control of "The Message", we will retain Anti-Americans like Obozo.

Being a Boomer of the first order, there is one thing that I almost never see repeated on this forum that is an article of faith among those of us who came of age in the Sixties and early Seventies: NEVER TRUST a DRUGGIE!

You have a pothead and coke nose in the White House who probably has had a more than nodding acquaintance with Herion as well. So along with the arrogance and narcissism and meanness and vengefulness and all the rest, I think the boy´s brain is more than a mite bit drug addled. It would sure go along ways toward explaining the way he stammers and stutters and steps all over his tongue when he tries to express a thought extemporaneously.

Being in the closet with a beard like the Mooch probably twisted his psyche all out of shape as well. ValJar did a lousy matchmaking job with that Amazon.

Today, there is one camouflage pattern just for Marines in the desert. There is another just for Navy personnel in the desert. The Army has its own “universal” camouflage pattern, which is designed to work anywhere. It also has another one just for Afghanistan, where the first one doesn’t work. Republican lawmakers, who have spent months seeking to tie President Obama to last year’s deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, are increasingly focusing their probe on a new target: former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton. The GOP-led investigation of the Sept. 11, 2012, assaults that killed U.S. Ambassador J. Three State Department officials are scheduled to testify before a House committee on Wednesday about the Benghazi attack and its aftermath.

I said that death is a part of life, so often we have to find a way to make life a part of death. And, I guess the reason why I´m saying that, going back to something Mr. Nordstrom said, he wanted,

Northwestern University continued to stumble over diversity issues this week as Mexican students voiced disagreement with a campuswide letter that advised students not to celebrate Cinco de Mayo by engaging in racially-offensive activities, such as eating tacos and drinking tequila. The letter was sent to students via e-mail, and published in The Daily Northwestern last week. Leaders of Alianza, a Latino student group, and the Associated Student Government called on students to remember that Cinco de Mayo commemorates Mexico’s victory over France in the Battle of Puebla. It is not a day to throw a sombrero-themed party, they said.

There was tragic incompetence, plainly, in the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi attacks, and even possibly some political calculation. It is a record that may well come to haunt Hillary Clinton, the first Secretary of State to lose an ambassador in the field in more than three decades, if she runs for president in 2016. But the obvious Republican effort to turn this inquiry into the Democratic (Obama) version of the Iraq intelligence scandal that has tarred the GOP since the George W. Bush years -- led by that least-credible of champions, the almost-always-wrong Darrell Issa --

British physicist Stephen Hawking has dropped plans to attend a major international conference in Israel in June, citing his belief that he should respect a Palestinian call to boycott contacts with Israeli academics. The University of Cambridge released a statement Wednesday indicating that Hawking had told the Israelis last week that he would not be attending "based on advice from Palestinian academics that he should respect the boycott." University officials said they had "previously understood" that Hawking´s decision was based solely on health concerns — he is 71 and has severe disabilities — but had now been told otherwise by Hawking´s office.

“We´ve had a tough go of it this last year,” Cumulus CEO Lew Dickey said Tuesday morning. “The facts are indisputable regarding the impact certain things have had on ad dollars." Dickey told analysts on the earnings call that his radio empire’s revenue was down $5.6 million in the first quarter of 2013 on top of a boatload of debt. Why? Parse the weasel words (“the impact of certain things”) and you’ll see that Dickey is blaming one man for the precipitous decline of right-wing talk radio’s profitability: Rush Limbaugh. El Rushbo is still a giant in the industry,

Ahead of the Benghazi hearings in which three witnesses are set to testify before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Fox & Friends co-host Brian Kilmeade invited Fox News analyst Lt. Col. Ralph Peters to discuss the issue. Peters was unflinching in his criticism of the “cowardly” Obama administration — and the “establishment media” that aids it. “Is this a national security coverup?” Kilmeade asking, explaining that the witness testimony is expected to say the administration was deceitful in its handling of the situation. “The administration, facing the election, went into panic mode, wanted to contain it,”

Fans of Glenn Beck are complaining about what I wrote yesterday about his speech at the National Rifle Association convention, where he used a giant image of Michael Bloomberg photoshopped into what appeared to be an image of Hitler with his arm raised in a Nazi salute and wearing an armband. The Beck crowd now tells me that it wasn’t Hitler’s picture into which the New York mayor was transposed but that of Communist leader Vladimir Lenin. They say that means I owe Beck an apology along with the Anti-Defamation League and others who were also outraged by it.

John McCain is going to release a bill that would dismantle cable as it´s currently constructed, Brenden Sasso at The Hill reports. The legislation would force cable companies and satellite TV providers to give consumers an option to pick and choose which channels they get. This is called "à la carte programming," and it´s long been a dream of consumers who only want a handful of channels. McCain tried to introduce similar legislation in 2006 and it went nowhere.

On September 11, 2012, terrorists attacked our consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and murdered four Americans, including our ambassador. Eight months later, we have learned some of what happened, but many questions remain.(Snip)What we do know leads to the inescapable impression that before, during, and after the Benghazi attacks, there was confusion and paralysis at the Department of Defense, the Department of State, and the White House.
