Hillary Clinton announces
support for gay marriage

Associated Press, by Julie Pace & Ken Thomas

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 3/18/2013 11:39:34 AM

WASHINGTON — Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton announced her support for gay marriage Monday, putting her in line with other potential Democratic presidential candidates on a social issue that is rapidly gaining public approval. Clinton made the announcement in an online video released Monday morning by the gay rights advocacy group Human Rights Campaign. She says in the five-minute video that gays and lesbians are “full and equal citizens and deserve the rights of citizenship.” “That includes marriage,” she says, adding that she backs gay marriage both “personally and as a matter of policy and law.”

Comments:
What an earth-shattering announcement. s/o That´s all she squawked about when she was Secretary of State. You know the Muslim countries really cared about the rights of homosexuals. s/o

New NBC series on the horizon: long-suffering but brilliant wife of a greasy politician realizes that she´s a lesbian, embraces her newfound sexuality and rides that to a successful tenure as president of an accepting United States.

Well, I am shocked! First Billery, now PIAPS. I imagine she can embrace her assistant openly. Look for a divorce if she is unable to run for president, followed up with an open arrangement with her asst.

One of the downstream results of the deconstruction of marriage, sex and gender (and that´s what this is) is that it will become illegal to even advocate for, or try to strengthen, real marriage the basis of the natural family.

Exaggerating? Not at all. They´ve already shut down Catholic Adoption Services in IL, MA, and CA because they wouldn´t place kids in homosexual domestic arrangements.

They´ve made it a crime to counsel a youthtowards normal gender identity/sexual orientation, even if both the minor and his parents have requested help in supporting normal psychosexual development.

They want to drive out of business anyone who doesn´t cater to sexual deviancy.

Gender confusion in very young children is not even being recognized as a problem: it´s a desired feature, even a proud achievement of the new revolutionary gender system!

Who´s it going to hurt?

It´s getting harder and harder to find anyone it isn´t going to hurt.

Watch.

All that hillary needs now is a willing wife and she will be a double whammy against the republicans in the 2016 elections. I wonder how long it took her to "evolve" on this issue?

A friend was on the transition team in 1992. He said that Hillary made the selections - Bill was not involved.
Hillary´ first pick was Dirty Donna Shalala, for HHS Secretary. Janet Reno was selected only after two previous selections for AG crashed and burned, due to failure to pay ss taxes for servants.
As far as I know, Hillary lives in D.C.with Huma Abedin. And Hillary´s PAC, back in the 1990s, HIllpac, spent every dollar for the first two years to pay Huma´s salary.

Marriage is not in the Constitution and therefore is left to the states. Congress weighed in anyway and defined it as being between a man and a woman. I really don´t care what Hillary thinks.

Why wouldn´t she? One day after Huma divorces Anthony Weiner, Hillary and Huma will marry. I wonder if Huma will become Huma Abedin-Weiner-Rodin-Clinton. The Clinton´s are such a joke...a marriage made not in heaven but of true convenience. Huma and Weiner´s marriage was the same. A Jew and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood married...all to get Weiner elected to mayor of NYC. The Obamas Ditto. A muslim sympathizing Chicago Boyztown member. If Hillary ever becomes President she will not be the first homosexual President. Obama beat her to that distinction.

Why, #10? because of the "Low information" and no information, and ignoramus, and just plain stupid voters.

Apparently, Boehner still believes in the definition of marriage.

What is so difficult about asking why the "Civil Union" arragnement is not adequate, as that provides all the legal protections homosexuals have claimed to want.

Why, again, do they insist on changing the definition, and hence the meaning, of marriage? Because they WANT to destroy this institution, fundamental to Civilization.

Every boundary will be smashed; no child will be safe.

Most laws have the primary purpose of protecting the boundaries, thus protecting civil society, keeping us from descending into the abyss of barbarism.

The last Dark Ages lasted 800+ years. Monks in little monasteries preserved Classical philosophy, literature, and what was understood as science; a record of Roman Law; and, of course, the Bible.

We are a "pinnacle nation" as Dr. Ben Carson calls it, and we are on the brink...
it seems clearer by the day... of a new Dark Ages.

There are three types of laws"
Law of God
Laws of Nature and
Laws of man

Man´s law should not or cannot supersede the first two.

One throug ten are pretty easy..even if you don´t like the first four the next six is something a just society adheres to!

Nature man and woman are natural functions of the human nature. To deny this is absolutely wrong. Natural animals are bound to male and female...animals do not abort their off spring..Proceation is a natural result of an act of nature. A seed is planted and a natural birth results, man or animal..anything less than this is debasing the laws of God and Nature

Nuff said!

Words! Words! Words! “Marriage” is already taken. It’s been taken for centuries. Simply put, it signifies a relationship between a male and a female human being. Is there a critical shortage of words which makes redefining the word “marriage” necessary? Not at all! We’ve got words comin’ out our lexicon by the millions. “Gay” once meant merry, happy, joyous, lighthearted, etc. Now it hardly ever means that. Now it mostly means homosexual, thanks to the aggressive, never-leave-well-enough-alone crowd. And now they want to appropriate “marriage” as well. What’s wrong with Civil Union? Or Social Relationship? Or Legal Liaison? Given the time and motivation, I’m sure they could come up with several dozen more. “Marriage” is already taken. It’s not the end of the world. For cryin’ out loud, deal with it!

It´s simple -- give the MSM something to "divert" the attention away from her complicity in the killing of the four Americans in Benghazi.....

When an ole grannie can figure out the dem´s tactics -- it´s a sad state of affairs.....

As for her opinion on gay marriage -- now there´s a surprise. A very un/attractive woman in comfortable shoes and unwashed hair, sans make/up -- supports gay marriage. Surprise!!

#26, homosexual practices are/i> perversions.

Even if they are done by heterosexuals.

Why do the 2-3% who are homosexuals have such huge political/social/cultural clout? It´s no great mystery. It´s the huge numbers of "straight" allies who are into similar or identical perversions.

And who share the identical underlying philosophy: sex is primarily for adult gratification. It has no other dimensions of meaning. Or, if it does have other dimensions (the making of a permanent, exclusive bond that lasts until death, the procreation of children, the union of the sexes, the consummation of the solemn vows of fielity, the blessing of God) those other meanings are secondary or teritary, and entirely optional.

It´s only "adult gratification" which is considered non-negotiable.

That´s the root of the perversion.

Even if it remains unspoken, I think everybody knows that.

Former lefty favourite loses gig bookings after saying same-sex marriage will be ´downfall of civilisation´ - "When they stop Prop 8 and force priests at gunpoint to marry gays, it will be the downfall of civilisation, and Jesus will come back," Shocked told the crowd at Yoshi´s in San Francisco, before many of them reportedly walked out. "You are going to leave here and tell people, ´Michelle Shocked said God hates faggots.´"

1.The Hildebeest needed something to divert attention from her Benghazi e mail revelations and
2. Accepting gay marriage is a wedge issue being used by lefties to make Republicans look more unacceptable to voters - obama´s other goal apart from destryoing America involves destroying the Republican party. See this for what it is, folks: an attack on ALL conservative churches, temples, etc. Once the state says you can not discriminate and must marry people who wish to get married then you are open to being brought up on charges that you are violating the law. After about 20 states allow it, the Feds will say it is a protected constitutional right and you will lose your tax exemption if you discriminate. Just one more example of incrementalism. Slowly working to undermine society. It will not be long before the age of consent is lowered --- to say puberty? If you´re old enough to have adult bodily functions, you´re old enough to get married and to decide for yourself! Look for 30 year old men getting married to 13 year old boys within 20 years. Look for 3 women asking to be "married" to each other in even less time.

For those of you who are married to a member of the opposite sex and believe in the sanctity of marriage: flaunt it! Be "out" as traditional marriage proponents. Be loud. Make a difference in your communities. Teach your children your values. Counsel and mentor other couples, and support single moms and dads who are raising their children alone. There are more of you than there are Hillarys and Elton Johns and Doogie Howsers. Love one another well. It matters deeply.

FTA: "rapidly gaining public approval"...then explain to me why same-sex "marriage" has been soundly defeated in every state in which it has been put up for a vote by the people, even in California?

#43 is right, it is an attack on conservative churches, as well as on the basic building block of civilization, the family. If same-sex "marriage" is given "equal protection under the law", churches will be sued. I say let the tax-exemption go. It is a muzzle used to silence pastors. And, the tax exemption is not as far-reaching as people think. It only applies to the plate collection, and property taxes on the land upon which the actual church building sits - not the parking lot, school, or parish hall. Pastors pay income tax on their salaries and churches pay sales tax on all items bought. I say give it up and lets get back to true religous freedom.

I guess she feels she´ll get more votes. Let´s all hope that the next Republican candidate (Romney did really try and was called a liar on TV) will tell that we all know what she does with that all important 3 am phone call - disappears, lies and covers up. I´m hoping the dems heads are in the clouds - don´t they realize that Benghazi will trail her forever. She can´t get rid of it. Her political career is over. The "reporters" made sure the truth was hidden during the election. It´s nice they realized their guy wouldn´t be elected if the truth were known.

President Obama and other Washington politicians are getting a bum rap on TV news as money-grubbers and power-grabbers, views the president´s former top speechwriter calls lies, especially those aimed at his former boss. Jon Favreau told students at Harvard University´s Institute of Politics that TV portrays political leaders wrongly, and that the public ends up with a bad view of those in power. "I think that a lot of people turn on the news today, a lot of young people, and they hear people tell them that every motivation of every politician on either

Joyce Karam, Washington correspondent for pan-Arabic daily Al-Hayat, offers a sobering assessment on the Al-Arabiya website of the current administrations efforts in the post-”Arab Spring” Middle East. She begins by noting a how a minor recent diplomatic walkback highlights the White House’s contradictory policy: It was only fitting that the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry announces another traditional trip to the Middle East on the same day that the U.S. embassy in Cairo withdraws its tweet advancing the case for Egyptian Comedian Bassem Youssef as he faces intimidation from the Mursi government.

President Obama is eager to build public support for his health care overhaul in the few months remaining before its implementation, but waning enthusiasm from Democrats threatens his effort right out of the gate. Two-thirds of Democrats now believe Obama´s health care reforms will either hurt them personally or have no effect on their daily lives, a Quinnipiac University poll released Thursday shows. In comparison, just 27 percent of Democratic respondents said the reforms would help them. The president has long struggled to convince independent and Republican-leaning voters that his health care blueprint would lower premiums and expand insurance coverage.

RUSH: Folks, I don´t know how else to categorize this. We are living in a dying country. I don´t know how else to categorize what´s happening -- 88,000 new jobs. The unemployment rate, because of a terrible statistic, is down to 7.6%. The number of people in this country who are not working is shameful. Ninety million Americans are no longer in the workforce. Ninety million. People not in the labor force grew by 663,000, and now 90 million. That´s the labor force participation rate. This is 1979 levels.

President Obama´s biggest gaffe yesterday when speaking of California Attorney General Kamala Harris was not in flirtatiously complimenting her as "the best-looking attorney general," but in introducing an observation from the system of beauty into a forum that was about the system of power. What´s that, you say? Irin Carmon does a great job in Salon in laying out the bounds of propriety for when it´s appropriate to talk about a woman´s looks as a general matter. But I´ve long felt we lack a solid theoretical underpinning for easily discussing these issues, and why precisely it is that

Michelle Obama has admitted that she is already tired of the bangs she first sported in January. The First Lady said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight: ´Bangs are a day-by-day proposition. They´re starting to grow out, get a little irritating.´ Still, she hasn´t let her hairdo woes get her down. ´It´s okay,´ she said after her initial complaint. ´We´ll be good.´ The first indication that her hairstyle was becoming a burden came about last weekend, when Malia, 14, was spotted adjusting her mother´s hair during the White House Easter Egg Roll.

No one is more preoccupied these days with Hillary Clinton´s 2016 plans than the Beltway political class—not even the former presidential candidate herself. To hear some tell it, her decision will be dispositive for all other Democrats thinking of entering the race. And pundits and reporters aren´t the only ones positing the "The Hillary Factor": No less than the House Democratic whip, Steny Hoyer, told BuzzFeed, “I don´t know that anybody would run against Hillary…. If she runs, she clears the field.” It´s an understandable conclusion, given Clinton´s stature in the Democratic Party and her 70 percent

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton explained to the Women in the World summit in New York today that the clock is turning back for women in America. Clinton praised her own mother for helping empower her to success and marveled at the opportunities that her own daughter Chelsea has pursued. But Clinton warned that there is still so much to do to promote women´s rights in America. "As I look at all these young women that I am privileged to work with, or know through Chelsea, and its hard to imagine turning the clock on them," Clinton said.

The Obama White House is scrambling to blame Friday’s abysmal March jobs numbers on the sequester’s trimming of the rate of growth in federal budgets that have yet to fully commence. After the Labor Department announced that a mass exodus of 663,000 workers left the U.S. workforce last month and that job creation fell 112,000 jobs short of projections, Obama’s top economic adviser Alan B. Krueger, took to the White House blog to blame the sequester: It is important to bear in mind that the March household and payroll surveys are the first monthly surveys to look

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

SANFORD - Trayvon Martin´s parents have settled a wrongful death claim for an amount believed to be more than $1 million against the homeowners association of the Sanford subdivision where their teenage son was killed. Their attorney, Benjamin Crump, filed that paperwork at the Seminole County Courthouse, a portion of which was made public today. In the five pages of the settlement that were available for public review, the settlement amount had been marked out. Lower in the agreement, the parties specified that they would keep that amount confidential. When asked during an earlier interview whether the amount was

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank
