Unfortunately, I can´t agree with this. The lovo´s don´t know/weren´t alive when Woodward did his thing and became a press god. In trying to ingratiate themselves further with the Zippy admin, the media will go all out to destroy Woodward. And, the message will be clear to any other reporter who even thinks about criticizing the Zip. We may not have a gulag yet but not being invited to the cocktail parties will have to do for now. And that works very well with the press.

I disagree with # 1. Taking on Bob Woodward is like taking on Walter Cronkite or David Brinkley. Do it at your own risk! Woodward has immense credibility among independents and the Democrats. In fact if he has a credibility problem at all, it is, perhaps, more with Republicans than with others. Gene Sperling is a mousey weasel left over from Bill Clinton´s administration. He has zero credibility and is widely viewed about as unbiased as David Plouffe or David Axelrod. I´ll put my money on Woodward any day but the facts still come down to the issue that no one in the media has the stones to take on the first Black president. Obama is sacrosanct but there will be sniping at his aides.

We can only hope...

What else will the MSM´s Brouhaha of the Week be in the coming days unless it´s the Bob Woodward story?

We´ve already had the Fiscal Cliff Brouhaha, the Gun-Control Brouhaha, the Bengazi Brouhaha, the Sequester Brouhaha, and so on. And no exceptionally unqualified cabinet nominee like Chuck Hagel will be testifying before a Congressional Committee next week. So what´s left but Bob Woodward?

It´s not as if major newsworthy events weren´t happening -- like the death of a large American city, Detroit. But the MSM won´t cover that because it´s a bad reflection on Obama´s economic policies, just as the New York Times didn´t cover the famines in the Ukraine during the 1930s because they were a bad reflection on Joseph Stalin, whom the Times´s correspondent in Russia admired with as much enthusiasm as its Washington correspondents admire Barack Obama today.

#3, you underestimate the power of the msm and the lofo´s.

If these idiots had just ignored what Woodward said,the story would have gone away in a couple days.But they´re too thin skinned about Obama,so something had to be done.Woodward has always been at least a halfway honest journalist,it was Bernstein who really hated republicans an still does to this day.

It looks like Woodward has split the lame stream media with half against him (calling him a liar) and the other half confessing the same treatment had been done to them.

This is a good start-- maybe here comes the light moment. Keep praying people-- maybe the press will wake up and do their constitutional duty.

I believe that this bruhaha is all fake, for our enjoyment only. Nothing Will Change. Don´t get your hopes up, the LSM is permanently in the tank for their abuser.

The trouble (for leftists) is that by creating an artificial wall of silence about a particular topic, one creates the potential for a tsunami of pent-up honesty should the wall be breached............

....so Woodward must be silenced or de-legitimized.
