Intellectually gifted? Michelle Obama? What a profound joke. All one has to do is read her writings while at Princeton to put that to bed forever. She´s as narcissistic as her husband and actually believes the world gives a darn about every breath she takes. She and her traitor husband are products of the eminence grise, Valerie Jarrett.

Our Beloved Queen made a tactical error in crashing the noble´s Oscar party. Nobels are the last group of private citizens with any power to speak of and they don´t take to kindly to being eclipsed on their big day!
As for Shelly´s legacy beyond the bangs, toned arms, and arugula; I believe her dissertation topic at Princeton was her meany-head, racist classmates, which may not portend much hope for a meaningful intellectual contribution from our Beloved Evita, although, it was good enough to get her into Harvard Law.

The MEDIA has her on display incessantly. Many of us wish to never see or hear her. She is intrusive because the media doesn´t understand that many of us could care less about her at all, other than the fact that she uses our tax money for her whims.

It is an embarrassment. One actually begins to feel sorry for her as he reads this pathetic effort.
Mr. Courtland Milloy does not appear to realize it, but Michelle Obama is presently functioning, or seeming to function, or being assisted to function, at a level several orders of magnitude greater than her actual abilities would normally allow.
Instead of demanding more from her, he should praise her for somehow staying airborne at a height she could never have attained on her actual merits.

A SAUDI prince has spent 15 million euros ($A20.41 million) for three days of fun at Disneyland near Paris to celebrate his degree, the group that runs the theme park says. Prince Fahd al-Saud booked entire areas of the park between May 22 and 24 for his 60-odd guests. The festivities included tailor-made events involving ´´rare Disney characters´´, Euro Disney said.. Special security was put in place for the prince, one of the park´s top customers, it added.

LAS VEGAS — A former Nevada state lawmaker who had been expelled from the Assembly hours earlier led authorities in California on a high-speed freeway chase before he was shocked with a stun gun and arrested on charges including resisting arrest, authorities said Friday. Steven Brooks, 41, was arrested at about 7 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 15 outside the city of Victorville after a 15-mile chase that exceeded speeds of 80 mph, California Highway Patrol Officer Don Spiker said. It was Brooks´ third arrest since January, and the second involving allegations that he fought with police.

The U.S. Navy will delay the refueling of the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN-72) for an unknown period because of the uncertain fiscal environment due to the ongoing legislative struggle, the service told Congress in a Friday message obtained by USNI News.(Snip) ´´This delay is due to uncertainty in the Fiscal Year 2013 appropriations bill, both in the timing and funding level available for the first full year of the contract,” the message said.

WASHINGTON -- New Jersey Sen. Frank Lautenberg, a defiantely liberal Democrat who represented his home state for nearly 30 years, died overnight, the Inquirer has confirmed. Lautenberg was 89. He died of viral pneumonia, according to the Bergen Record, which first reported the news. Lautenberg had struggled with health issues for months, including a bout of the flu and bronchitis in the winter and pain and weakness in his legs, which have forced him to miss most Senate votes since the end of February. Gov. Chris Christie, a Republican, will appoint a replacement.

Sen. Frank Lautenberg died this morning of viral pneumonia at age 89, his office said. The oldest member of the Senate, Lautenberg had struggled with health problems since late last year, when he missed several weeks of votes because of what he said was flu and bronchitis. The death of Lautenberg, a Democrat who was the longest-serving senator in New Jersey history, creates a vacancy that Governor Christie, a Republican, will fill. Lautenberg returned to Washington in February and announced he would not seek re-election in 2014, but hoped to complete a series of accomplishments before his term ended.

The controversy over IRS targeting of conservative groups took a new turn this weekend when right-leaning websites drew a connection between the agency´s former head and his wife´s employment at a liberal group. The conservative website Breitbart posted that "the goal of Public Campaign is to target political groups like the conservative non-profits at issue in the IRS scandal," naming the campaign finance reform group where Doug Shulman´s wife, Susan Anderson, is the senior program adviser. Public Campaign spokesman Adam Smith said the Breitbart description "is not at all accurate."

It’s always useful to know where people are coming from, so we can thank former Florida governor Jeb Bush for making it so easy to understand where he stands on public education. He has nothing but disdain for it. If you think this is somehow an exaggeration, consider what Bush, a national education reform leader, has said recently about the subject. In his keynote speech this week at the Mackinac Policy Conference in northern Michigan, Bush said, according to the Huffington Post: We must expand [school] choice. Our governance model includes over 13,000 government-run monopolies run by unions.
