Boehner tells Senate to ´get off

A salty Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Tuesday told members of the Senate to “get off their ass” and pass a bill to replace the $85 billion in across-the-board spending cuts that will kick in on March 1. “We have moved a bill in the House twice. We should not have to move a third bill before the Senate gets off their ass and begins to do something,” Boehner told reporters in a press conference, repeating a message he had just delivered in a closed-door meeting of the House Republican conference. The House in 2012 approved measures twice

This sort of language is utterly inappropriate in public. It is rude, crude, ignorant and vulgar. It diminishes the office. It is a manifestation of impotence. It is both surprising and disappointing to hear such language from a Republican Speaker of the House. We are quite used to it and worse from Democrats and entertainers. It should not become acceptable from Republicans.

(Whenever one castigates vulgar public language, someone is sure to leap up and announce that people talk that way all the time in ordinary life, in private. They are, of course, quite correct - but they have forgotten, or fail to appreciate, the distinction between public and private behavior.)

Reid has been covering for 0bama´s incompetence for years.

there is no way Reid will expose 0bama´s incompetence by actually making 0bama manage budget "cuts" in a way that can be reviewed by Congress and the media.

0bama is in real danger of making things worse intentionally and verifiably

It´s silly time again. The Senate Republicans and Democrats both are moving sequester bills that could be voted on tomorrow. Neither has a chance in the world of passing. It´s all posturing so the finger pointing can begin anew. Let the cuts take effect and we´ll see what happens.

Next up continuing resolution hysteria to be followed by debt limit hysteria. Capped off with downgrade hysteria.

talk to them as a elemental man instead of a paper puppet begging for a morsel of concern for the welfare of our country.
It is his duty as the main challenger to the destructive actions of the Obe´s to present the facts as they are in stark presentation.

Large numbers of Americans, especially those with less education, continue to have difficulty finding work, undermining arguments that there is a “labor shortage” and need for increased immigration, a new study from the Center for Immigration Studies finds. The report, provided exclusively to Breitbart News, shows that the employment situation of American workers has gradually declined over the past 14 years since 2000. The number of working age adults who are not working has risen relatively quickly in the last 15 years. In 2000, 35.8 million native-born Americans between 18 and 65 years weren´t working. In 2006, the number was

The White House issued veto threats on Wednesday for a pair of bills reining in executive overreach that debuted and were debated on the House floor. The Executive Needs to Faithfully Observe and Respect Congressional Enactments of the Law (ENFORCE the Law) Act of 2014 puts in place a procedure that would expedite the ability of the House or Senate to sue the executive branch for failure to faithfully execute the laws. Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.), a former prosecutor who introduced the bill, said a three-judge panel at the federal district court level followed by direct appeal to the Supreme

CONCORD, N.H. — In October 2006, John Breckinridge, a Manchester police officer, saw his partner, Michael Briggs, shot to death in an alley. It was a searing moment that not only cost the Briggs family a father and husband, it also sent Mr. Breckinridge into a spiral of depression and doubt. He became obsessed with the suspect, Michael Addison, and wanted nothing more than for him to be put to death. When the death penalty came up for debate a few years ago in New Hampshire, Mr. Breckinridge testified in favor of it. But after a spiritual journey that renewed

The websites in question appear to be standard fundraising appeals for Democratic congressional candidates, who are prominently pictured. Kentucky Senator Rand Paul is laying the foundation for his presidential bid in concrete and steel. First, forget about Jeb Bush unless you want to hand Hillary eight years in the White House.
