Article does not explain where the 9 degree F, and I am assuming Fahreneit, forecast comes from. Nor does article explain how such an enormous rise happens in one´s life time, 70 years. Since global temps have not risen in 15 years, why would So Carolina be worried?

Appears that this AP article is simply an example of what the AP does best; foster fear to promote a collectivist agenda.

How much has the growth in SC´s population itseldf had on the datea gatehering? What was once open pasture and fields is now concrete and asphalt. It would be interesting to see the correlartion between development and temperature of time at the data collection points.

Ever been to Hilton Head in July? Hell cannot be much hotter, but at least in HH, the ocean is right there.

The South Carolina shore climate is what it is. There are two "summers" -- the spring and the fall, and then true summer often is what I call the "hell months" where walking on the beach can be intolerable at 80 a.m. The low country has a rice paddy climate and the high humidity makes the summer heat feel even hotter.

On the other hand, I can recall summer days on Isle of Palms when the daytime high was 85 degrees and it was 102 degrees in Washington, D.C.

Well, I guess this explains the T-Rex that ran up the street earlier today. But, I live in California. I´m so confused!

Lying about science to suit leftist programs is a very bad development. Science has to be validated by objective criteria.
