Absolutely right. Where was Adam Lanza´s Dad? Oh yeah - out having fun with his new girlfriend. Rather than repealing the Second Amendment you might think we could get rid of the laws that favor this sort of thing - maybe even make divorce slightly more difficult.

I don´t foresee any fathers or families under the Obama vision. Children will have single or gay parents and be paid for by aid for dependent children -- like now.

I agree that you need a complete family to have a better success rate with raising kids. You have to be fully engaged with your children. Boy Scouts are a huge benefit. But I don´t see the Left supporting much of that.

Federal laws discourage marriage and the new tax laws even more so. The Obamataxcare bill increased the marriage penalty and did the recent law hiking the rate on "rich people." He can talk all he wants, but he does not "walk the walk."

Cyprus postponed for yet another day an emergency parliamentary session to discuss a bailout plan that will see the country´s bank depositors share part of the burden, the house speaker said Monday. The Cypriot parliament is now scheduled to meet Tuesday at 1600 GMT, house speaker Yannakis Omirou told reporters. The parliament had been due to meet Monday at 1400 GMT as the government sought to push the levy through parliament before banks reopened Tuesday after a three-day bank holiday. The vote delay means that the bank holiday will likely be extended for at least another day.
