What Makes Me
Ashamed of My Country

Rushlimbaugh.com, by Rush Limbaugh

Original Article

Posted By:Desert Fox, 2/22/2013 5:19:28 PM

RUSH: I´m gonna play the sound bite of me from this program, the portion of the program where I threw up my hands in frustration and just said, "For the first time I´m ashamed of my country." Now, I realize that many of you tuned in today wanting to hear more of this, because you didn´t hear it at all yesterday. You weren´t here but you heard about it, so you made an appointment to join this program at the beginning. You wanted to hear what this is all about. You wanted to hear more about it,

I cannot disagree with Rush. I have felt much the same way since 11/4/12. We are on a runaway train headed downhill.

Sorry Rush, you´re a little late to the party. Right after the fraudulent presidential election, I posted here on Lucianne parodying Chewbacca Moochelle and said that for the first time in my adult life I was ashamed of my country....several other L-Dotters also posted that sentiment.

So we are ahead of the curve, ahead of Rush Limbaugh. Think he´s MAN enough to admit that we here said that before he did?

These days, Limbaugh seems detached, lazy, content to coast along -- golfing and smoozing with his B-list celebrity friends at his palacial mansion. His show remains a golden goose, but as far as cultivating winning ideas, Limbaugh is woefully bankrupt. If you want to know what he thinks on an issue it´s best to ask his brain, Mark Levin. His show is not even fun anymore. There´s only so much you can do with bitterness and uninformed opinion.

I don´t think the troll king actually listens to Rush. I´d guess the troll is a disciple of Obama, just here to mess with our minds.
Rush was speaking from a personal POV. It is not a race to see who can be first to claim they are ashamed of their country. We don´t want to be as childish as the Dems, do we?

I disagree with #3 also. I started listening to Rush 20 years ago and he is as relevant today as he was then. I don´t listen now, instead I read his website everyday. He is still informative and out front fighting for conservatism.

I am with no. 4.

I have been thinking that maybe there are other countries that are better than us now that we are reenacting the Fall of the Roman Empire. If you watch video from S. Korea, it is far more wholesome than American movies and TV, and Christians and Christian imagery are mostly put in a positive light. I watched a Korean cop movie last night and the hero character, a crazy guy who makes good and gets the girl at the end, repeatedly quoting Scripture as part of his dialogue without batting an eye and anybody acting offended.

Rush has long broadcast commentary he´s read online.

Way back when most people were not into the internet he served a purpose.

Now we all have the facts before Rush even bothers to do any of his own research.

For the most part he´s hunting for his own name on line, in print, or on TV.

I agree with #4, I don´t always agree with Rush often times to go later back and see he was right all along. MichelleO can say the same thing Rush did and no one says a darn thing. I´m ashamed of our media but was proud of the usa til 2008 when we gave this ghetto rat with no creds a free pass to the highest office in the world.

On the bright side I´m qualified to run a nuclear power plant apparently. Who needs creds?

Dont get me wrong, I listen to Rush almost EVERY day. I just wanted to point out that many of us are on the same page with Rush, myself included, uttering almost the EXACT SAME WORDS! Thats a good thing, no? I sure think so!

As for the troll king (what a ridiculous thing to call yourself) "bitterness" ? "Uninformed opinion"? Are you describing yourself? Because that surely isnt the Rush Limbaugh I´ve been listening to since 1987! Like #5 says, just dont listen...but when you falsely criticize a man for what he says, try to get it right....what Rush has been saying lately is that the same old crap (SOSDD) is being foisted upon us by the Lefties in Government for the last 25 to 30 years and it is getting SO old...too bad the dumbasses who constitute what Rush calls the Low Information Voters(or what an L-Dotter called LoMoFo´s)are always believing the LIES they are told by Carney, Obama, Biden, Clinton, Axelrod, Schumer, Kerry, Hagel, Panetta, and a whole host of liberal lefty liars like the enemedia ass-press, the network news commie liars, academia, and the talk-show idiot liars! #3 says "it is not a race to see who can be first to claim they are ashamed of their country" What an unabashed and unwarranted slam at poster #2 ! He was just telling it like it is, the truth, and I respect him for that! I also respect Rush Limbaugh.

As for the king of all trolls.....meh!

I´m a veteran too, #2, and I agree with you. We have got to stop being ashamed and start taking back this nation from the cretins on the left.Sometimes uninformed people call us "childish" simply because we are willing to get down and dirty and fight back. That, to me, is not childish, if we dont fight them....they win! Keep fighting back!

I´ve also pretty much given up on America. The Republic is dying and will soon be dead.

Rush is slowly coming to the realization that the Republican Party that he believed in has morphed into a party led by Washington D.C. insiders whose main concern is money, not what is best for the country.

The #3´s of the world cannot tolerate anyone who may expose these frauds for what and who they are. They cannot refute the message, the evidence is overwhelming, so they are left with attacking the messengers.

Its the last bastion of the corrupted and their minions when all is about to collapse around them.

Maybe it would have been better if Rush had said, "For the first time in my life, I am ashamed FOR my country". I have never been ashamed of my country, only ashamed for it, after years of DemocRAT fraud resulted in this disgusting phony and his regime being put in office. Seeing that lying criminal walk on board Marine One to go on another long vacation makes me ashamed for my country. I am ashamed for all the unbeliveable waste, all the unbelievable fraud foisted on the good American people by these criminals and their paid whores in the mainstream media.

It has been said that an actuary is someone who really wanted to be an accountant but didn´t have the personality for it. See who´s laughing now. Things are starting to get very interesting, actuarially-speaking. Federal bankruptcy judge Christopher Klein ruled on April 1 that Stockton, Calif., can file for bankruptcy via Chapter 9 (Chapter 11´s ugly cousin). The ruling may start the actuarial dominoes falling across the country, because Stockton´s predicament stems from financial assumptions that are hardly restricted to one improvident California municipality.

´This is about these families and families all across the country who are saying, ´Let´s make it a little harder for our kids to get gunned down,´" President Obama declared Monday, in unusually demagogic remarks even by his standards. He added, "What´s more important to you: our children, or an A-grade from the gun lobby?" Mr. Obama is lapsing into such crude appeals—support his gun-control agenda or suborn mass child murder—because he knows his real problems aren´t the gun lobby. They´re members of his own party who answer to law-abiding voters who support Second Amendment rights.

BEIRUT -- Al-Qaida´s branch in Iraq and the most powerful rebel extremist group in Syria have officially joined ranks against President Bashar Assad to forge a potentially formidable militant force in the Middle East. The merger of the Islamic State in Iraq and Jabhat al-Nusra forms a new entity that could be an even stronger opponent in the fight to topple Assad and become a dominant player in what eventually replaces his regime. The new group, called the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant, underscores the growing confidence and muscle of Islamist radicals fighting on the rebel side

There used to be a formulation of cynical news editors to determine American news priorities for mass murder. It ran something like: 1,000 dead Bangladeshis = 100 dead Italians = 10 dead Americans. So how many dead American babies does it take to make the news? I wrote two-and-a-half weeks ago about the U.S. media’s determination to ignore a story that’s inconvenient to their biases. But, given the gun-banners’ ceaseless grief-feasting on Sandy Hook, at some point doesn’t the corpse count in Philadelphia merit maybe, oh, a thousandth of the attention?
