Many of the ghetto baby mommas, some of them in their early teens, have access to daycare. It is paid by the government. And that allows them to sleep all day, and party all night. And such programs already exist in rural areas for baby mommas.
So the kenyan klown´s pitch for universal day care exists to pump up dues paying new early childhood education ´teachers´ which will make the NEA even richer.

A new educational program for $9 an hour SEIU workers to change diapers for 4 year olds enrolled in taxpayer funded, union controlled, indoctrination centers. Very shaky.

If the government would make huge tax and spending cuts, a lot more mothers would be able to stay home and actually raise their kids. Supposedly a huge percentage of what we need to know in life, we learn during the first five years of life. That´s when mothers need to be in the home to teach their children and not leave it up to some government drone ( the other kind ). It´s a matter of education vs indoctrination.

Never mind the fact, that Obama lied. He does it all the time. What is important here is that the false premise that the government indoctrination of young people should begin as early as possible, to keep them out of their parents´ hands where they could possibly learn about religion, high moral values, American history and English grammar, composition and writing.

Maybe children would be taught that government is best that does least, a concept horrific to liberals everywhere.

Maybe children would learn that diversity isn´t always a good thing and that there is no such thing as man-made global warming.

Maybe children raised and taught at home would become (GASP) Christians!

The usurpation of parental control over children has gone a leap too far and is really just another piece of this Administration´s goal to get government control over everything.

Witness the latest move to have local Sheriffs make annual inspections into private homes to see if firearms are properly stored. What is that the first step toward? More government control over your life and eventually, the confiscation of your firearms. And why? Because a disarmed populace cannot fight back.

Attention must be paid.

Headstart, Sesame Street and that stupid purple dinosaur at best wasted years of young children´s lives and at worst taught them the most degraded thoughts and activities that man has ever come up with. A being in a garbage can? How degraded is that?

I picked up my sweet granddaughter from after school care one day. She was depressed, not like her. From school, to after school care, to grandpa care - I had to dig but finally she said, "I just want to be at home ... and with my mother."

Our school buildings are at 110% capacity and our community has literally no vacant land. So where are we going to put the 250 new pre-K children? And who´s going to pay for this complete waste of money.

In fact, full-day K is waste of money. We children of the 1960´s did just fine with half-day K, where you mostly played, and sang and colored.

I also have seen studies that show babies learn while still in womb, you kow before they are human. They would do even better if they were not aborted.

And to expand on #8, the dirty secret of the teaching profession is that they don´t put their own children in the brainwashing pits called schools. Oh no, their little precious goes to private school. I have heard that from many many callers over the years to Rush´s show. They know how bad the system is, they just can´t admit it to you folks.

Granted many children in Head Start come to the program never having been read to, do not know shapes and colors. There is no proof that the long term effect is that these are nothing more than daycare.

You cannot make parents learn how to parent. Perhaps the parents need to attend Head Start and learn how to be an adult and a parent.
