´Mentally disabled´ death-

A federal appeals court has dramatically halted the execution of a Georgia 30-minutes before he was due to die by lethal injection.Warren Lee Hill was set to be executed at 7 p.m. Tuesday night, but shortly before the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals granted the stay on claims by Hill that he was mentally disabled and thus ineligible for execution, Brian Kammer, Hill’s lawyer, said. The 52-year-old death-row prisoner was sentenced to death in 1990 for the lethal beating of fellow inmate Joseph Handspike with a board studded with nails to the distress of other inmates.

So he can continue to kill fellow inmates with impunity? And prison guards? Because he is ´mildly mentally retarded?´ What does that mean?
IQ score is on a continuum, and mildly retarded as a definition is ridiculuous.
And one more point - supplemental security payments, administered by the social security administration, are known in the ghetto as ´crazy checks´
Some Baby mommas teach each of their chillun to act up in school, play dumb, pretend to be impaired, so that momma can collect 600-800 dollars per month for each of her chillun.
We will soon be measuring the long term impact of that, with repeat killers like this guy, who may have played the crazy check game.

just remember that 20% of the blacks have this iq compared to just 5% of whites... still seems like a get out of jail free card if there ever was one.

with this many blacks have an iq of between 70-75 goes a long way in explaining things like the wealth gap or unemployment

The Episcopal Church-run National Cathedral in Northwest Washington, D.C., has hosted many events in its storied history, from Martin Luther King’s final Sunday sermon before his assassination, to U.S. presidents’ state funerals. Last week, it was the site of “Seeing Deeper,” a five-day exploration of “expansiveness, immediacy and insight.” Before we get into that, here’s a brief history. In 1791, Pierre Charles L´Enfant, who laid out the capital city, included space for a “a great church for national purposes.” The original site now houses the National Portrait Gallery. A century later, on Jan. 6, 1893, Congress granted a charter signed

It´s well-known Beyonce and Jay Z are close friends with the Obamas, so it was no surprise that the pop diva was entertainment of choice for the first lady´s star-studded 50th birthday bash Saturday night. And on Sunday, Queen Bey released a collection of photographs from the White House, including an adorable one of her with first dog, Bo, and another showing her and daughter Blue Ivy admiring the famous Christmas tree. For Michelle Obama´s epic all-night celebration, Beyonce performed hits including ´Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)´ and ´To the Left´ while Stevie Wonder reportedly gave a more impromptu

His approval rating was down to forty per cent—lower than George W. Bush’s in December of 2005, when Bush admitted that the decision to invade Iraq had been based on intelligence that “turned out to be wrong.” Also, Obama said thickly, “I’ve got a fat lip.” That morning,

A federal commission rejected three states’ requests to ask voters for proof of citizenship, issuing a complex decision Friday that said it’s up to the national government, not the states, to decide what to include on registration forms. Under the motor-voter law, federal officials distribute voter-registration forms in all of the states. Arizona, Kansas and Georgia all asked that those forms request proof of citizenship, but the federal Election Assistance Commission rejected that in a 46-page ruling. The EAC said states can check driver’s license databases or ask federal immigration authorities for information, but they cannot tell the federal government

A recent conversation with a veteran of GOP presidential campaigns raised this question: Which, if any, of the recent battleground states are likely to become more Republican by 2016? The consensus: very few. That reality highlights one problem Republicans face as they seek to regain the White House after six years under President Obama. Lots of factors affect elections: the quality of the candidates, the state of the economy, the effectiveness of the campaigns. But in a country whose demographics continue to change, Republicans will begin this campaign with one significant disadvantage. Over the past three decades, the political leanings of
