A three-time deportee from the Dominican Republic who’s been charged with trafficking heroin in Massachusetts will be arraigned in federal court today for illegally reentering the United States for a fourth time. Juan Miguel Laboy, who is believed to be 38 or 39 years old, was spotted in Lawrence last month by a special agent from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, according to court documents. He was traced to an apartment complex in Methuen, where authorities allege he used money orders to pay rent for two units. Laboy was first deported from Louisiana in 2006, and then

So...can we take it that all of the Federal freebies for illegals weren´t enough for him?

Ya´ gotta´ wonder about the smarts of a system that would turn this guy loose over and over and over (ad nauseum)...

Apparently government doesn´t know that the taxpayers *expect* actual ´border control´.

Great to see that heroin distributors can travel freely to / from the US, obtain at least 4 different Social Security numbers, obtain a Rhode Island driver´s license with fake name and documents, and establish a sales office in Methuen, Mass. Why do we have thousands of immigration officials, more thousands of TSA inspectors, DEA and numerous other federal agencies when Dominican drug dealers can move so freely in the US? And, why bother deporting this criminal element when they can immediately pass GO and collect millions of dollars by returning to the US to ply their trade?

He should claim to be Obama´s brother or cousin or something and Mass will set him up in his own apartment, give him welfare, a DL, a job with the state, and other assorted freebies.

Amazing how these illegal criminals can enter our country FOUR TIMES, continue their criminal activities, get a SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, a DRIVERS LICENSE, and probably vote without any problem...so much for the sealed borders, control of criminals that could be involved in bigger things other than drugs and nobody is the wiser...now multiply that by GOD knows how many and we have a problem but not if we listen to our idiot Homeland Security head...who spouts ´we got no problem´...tightest security ever...These criminals just laugh at us and our ultra lax ways, waltz in whenever and we don´t even know it, and they want me to give up the ability to defend MYSELF? Jerks!!!

The IRS, currently in the midst of scandals involving the targeting of conservative groups and lavish taxpayer-funded conferences, is ordering surveillance equipment that includes hidden cameras in coffee trays, plants and clock radios. The IRS wants to secure the surveillance equipment quickly – it posted a solicitation on June 6 and is looking to close the deal by Monday, June 10. The agency already has a company lined up for the order but is not commenting on the details. “The Internal Revenue Service intends to award a Purchase Order to an undisclosed Corporation,” reads the solicitation.

President Obama calls his vast domestic spying operation a "modest encroachment on privacy." Another defender of the Eavesdropping State, Democratic Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., assures Americans they would support the president´s stance—if only they knew as much as she does. "Here´s the rub," she said. "The instances where this has produced good—has disrupted plots, prevented terrorist attacks, is all classified. That´s what´s so hard about this." Walter Pincus, a Pulitzer Prize-winning national security reporter at The Washington Post, says the Washington press corps made too much of the Obama administration´s seizure of telephone records at the Associated Press.

While the country’s largest breast cancer charity, Susan G. Komen, announced it was cancelling half its 3-day races nationwide next year, CEO Nancy Brinker’s compensation package has increased considerably in the past two years. And at $684,000, the pay itself is enough to raise eyebrows, not to mention Brinker’s 2012 announcement she would be stepping down as Komen CEO. Her announcement came in August in the wake of the early 2012 controversy over the charity’s short-lived decision to pull funding from Planned Parenthood to provide breast cancer screenings. The footage, released as Zimmerman prepares to go on trial for second-degree murder, appears to show two men fighting over a bicycle by the roadside. Defense attorneys claim that the tape came from Trayvon´s cellphone and that his voice can be heard in the background - making it possible to authenticate a crucial emergency call made shortly before

Mickey Kaus has produced an excellent, easy-to-use “pocket guide” to the reasons why the Schumer-Rubio immigration reform bill (S.744) is fraudulent. Kaus catalogues the provisions of the bill that promise tough future enforcement, etc. but don’t do what they pretend to do: “Multiple triggers” — Legalization is immediate. DHS just has to write border “plan.” The most any “triggers” can possibly do is delay green cards and citizenship. “90% effectiveness” — If not reached, triggers only toothless commission “Pay back taxes” — Only if already “assessed” by IRS (unlikely). Newly legalized may instead get refunds. “Learn English” — Only need to sign up
