Businessman Considering
McConnell Primary Challenge

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Mike Flynn

Original Article

A Kentucky businessman has been quietly reaching out to local Tea Party and grass roots organizations, testing the waters for a primary challenge against GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell. Matt Bevin is owner of Bevin Manufacturing Co, a firm founded 160 years ago. He was also CEO of an investment management firm. He is potentially the first Tea Party challenger to emerge for the 2014 midterms. Sarah Duran, President of the Louisville Tea Party told The Hill, "We met with him to just discuss our feelings about the Senator, our feelings about someone running against him, what

If we had more Senators like Ted Cruz in Washington that would sure shake things up.

Bad idea. Tea Party challenges sometimes make sense and sometimes do not. This is one of the latter cases.

Defeating the Senate GOP leader because he doesn´t carry a bullhorn and has to deal with the realities of the legislative process is just what the Dems would like to see happen. And anyone who believes he might be replaced by a Rubio or Cruz is living in dreamland.

While McConnell is a nice man and would be fine if democrats were nice, that is not the case. McConnell has not led anything, or added any ideas as to resisting democrat overruns of what McConnell thinks are Senate rules, or led anything resisting democrat policies. McConnell imposes no party discipline, as McCain and Graham outflank him, out appear him on tv, and stab the party in the back. So who is leading the fight against democrats? Nobody.

Matt Bevin is very impressive. I´ve read a number of articles and watched a couple of videos. The videos concerned the rebuilding of the Bell factory after it burned down last year. They´re worth watching. McConnell´s been in the Senate for 30 years. That´s long enough. I´d hope he thinks so too and clears the path for Bevin.

The only way we will see change in DC is if we replace everyone in DC.

McConnel is part of the group that has broken this country. Why should we believe he can help fix it (especially considering his track record).

Go Bevin!

Well lQQky here: "Efforts to manipulate the 2014 election are already apparent. Recently, the Democrats launched an attempt to manipulate the Kentucky senatorial elections by forming an alliance with local tea parties. The president of the Louisville Tea Party, Sarah Durand, was approached by Democratic operatives promising a seven-figure investment in the overthrow of Mitch McConnell, the GOP bête noire of many of the woollier tea party factions. The Democratic organizations included MoveOn and Progress Kentucky along with the party SuperPAC.

Mark Levin, who hosts one of America´s top radio talk shows and is considered by supporters to be the people´s pundit on the Constitution, is rallying his 8.5 million-strong audience to demand an historic convention of state governments to halt the "oppressive power" of the federal government. The author of two New York Times bestsellers on the threats to the Constitution, Levin hopes his latest, "The Liberty Amendments," out mid-August, will spark the state lawmakers to tap a rarely used Constitutional provision to institute measures that would brake President Obama´s use of executive orders, bar thousand-page laws and
