Ethylene Glycol is in antifreeze, not propylene glycol, like the difference between methyl alcohol and ethyl alcohol. One will kill you now and the other could take decades. I think these studies are trying to prepare us to live like the third world. Now THAT is organic living.

More propaganda to try to control every aspect of our lives. It is like Hitler wanting to make Germany a completely vegetarian society (even though he sometimes ate meat). Bloomberg mentality on steroids... I am still waiting for them to allow cyclamates back onto the market. They lied about it causing cancer because the saccharine lobby was too big to ignore. That was when Diet Rite soda tasted great (not diet tasting at all). Then they banned cyclamates and I could never drink diet soda again. Yuck. Anyway, years later they proved the studies were false.

Sorry, #1 -- propylene glycol is an ingredient in the newer automotive antifreezes, and is used in deicing solutions at airports. It´s also approved as a food preservative by the FDA. The article still sounds like a bogus study to me.

It is getting to the point that the word alone fills me with revulsion, like "conversation" and "common sense". All they ever mean any more is that someone wants to take something away.

It does make a difference what is in the food at these restaurants. MSG is in nearly everything and if you are affected as I am you get headaches, feel tired and rundown etc. Even the salads at McDonalds have msg. I really liked their salads but stopped buying them when I discovered why I felt so weird later in the day.

Yes, these studies designed to convince people the GOVERNMENT knows best what we should eat. The government IS the problem. Congress lets these companies put garbage food on our grocery store shelves. Monsanto rules American farming. Monsanto execs have bought and paid for FDA officials and Congresscritters. You don´t put garbage gas in your Jaguar. You can only put garbage food in the body God blessed you with so long - and it catches up with you.

I don´t doubt that overwhelming your liver with too much fat is a problem but to claim it´s the same as hepatitis is insane.

Extra Jalapenos will counter act the problems with glycols, msg and salt however tequila must be substituted for the vodka.
