From the earliest days of Marco Rubio’s plucky campaign for the U.S. Senate, his diehard supporters spoke of the day that their man would have an opportunity to challenge Barack Obama – his policies, his vision, his rhetoric. They were certain that Rubio was so gifted an orator and possessed such a unique set of political skills that he would be able to make immediate and improbable leaps that most politicians could not execute. And it was obvious to them – this group the Rubio campaign hands called “three-percenters” because they were there in the days

Another career politician who seeks pathway to the White House by unleashing demographic mayhem that will probably destroy the GOP long term. This guy should be despised for what he represents, but there are just too many girls who can´t get beyond his exotic biography and handsome looks. We should repeal the 19th Amendment immediately.

Clinton nostalgists look back on the occasionally picayune controversies of that time — State of the Union endorsements of school uniforms — and conclude that such trivia were a sign of national health, of things being so good that we had nothing more important to debate. Subsequent events ranging from 9/11 to the mortgage meltdown suggest that there was rather more impressing business to be taken care of in the 1990s, but our political leaders were too short-sighted to appreciate it. Similarly, the fact that the Supreme Court is being asked to review the manner in which Hobby Lobby manages

Melowese Richardson admitted in 2013 to voting six times for Obama’s re-election while working as a poll worker in Hamilton County, Ohio. Initially convicted on state voter fraud charges and sentenced to five years in prison, Richardson served eight months before the George Soros-funded Ohio Justice and Policy Center helped lessen her sentence to probation. Watching the Left and various race-baiting Progressives going after Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI) reminds me of Tom Wolfe’s use, back in the 1970s, of the phrase “mau-mauing,” or intimidation, by the politically correct, directed at anyone who does not conform to their notions of reality. The process does not engage on the level of argument, but simply involves the impugning of the victim’s motives or character. It routinely results in a kind of liberal fatwah being issued against the offending party, denouncing his or her deviation from conventional pieties. The offense in question involves statements Paul Ryan, the current House Budget

Fears of a cover-up over the fate of flight MH370 grew yesterday after claims that a photo of two passengers was tampered with. Images of two men who boarded the Malaysian Airlines jet with stolen passports appear to show them having the same set of legs. CCTV footage stills released by officials three days after the Boeing 777-200 vanished from the skies shows the pair with identical green trousers and brown shoes. Their feet and shadows are also in the same position, while their faces, T-shirts and bags are different. The photo last night fuelled conspiracy theories over the fate of the aircraft, which

It is outfitted with electronic surveillance equipment and missile defense systems and is a signals-intelligence asset of the Russian navy, according to the Russian government.” Not long before Vladimir Putin dispatched the Viktor Leonov to Cuba,

President Obama is committing more military resources, including aircraft and special operations forces, to the hunt for notorious African warlord Joseph Kony. Early Monday, the White House confirmed a Washington Post report that the U.S. was sending "associated support personnel," and a "limited number" of CV-22 Osprey aircraft to assist local forces in their long-running battle against Kony´s Lord´s Resistance Army, or LRA. Obama sent about 100 U.S. troops to help the African forces in 2011. The administration did not specify how many troops and aircraft would be sent to Africa, but the Post reported that the president had ordered four Osprey

The other, more pressing matter for mental health pros is: Why are such a large proportion of these self- murders public affairs? Sure, raising taxes is a bad thing, but some politicians and pundits believe higher taxes will benefit society. Some people think we need to spend more, and others really fear climate change.
