| In the strongest indication yet that the next member of the Bush dynasty is planning a 2016 presidential run, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush Tuesday agreed to appear at the upcoming CPAC convention, long considered the first step to running for president. The American Conservative Union said that Bush will address the 40th annual Conservative Political Action Conference scheduled for March 14-16 in National Harbor, Md., on the Washington beltway. It will be his first appearance. Bush is considered one of the leading potential candidates,

Comments: Oh groan. This nightmare is never going to end. Well, if he does in fact run prepare yourselves for President Hillary Clinton. Jeb Bush was a good governor when I lived in the state of Florida. However, we do not need another Bush in the White House. This is just made to order for the Democrats and the media in their destruction of another Bush.

The Establishment Republicans are determined to self-destruct, and bring the country down with them. If Jeb Bush runs, watch Fox bring his name up glowingly at every opportunity, just like they did Romney and McCain. I´m sure Jeb Bush would make a decent candidate and probably a good President, if too Liberal. However, he cannot get elected in these times. He´s too much like a Democrat. The Democrats will vote for a "real" Democrat and the conservatives will HATE voting for him, if they do. After all, conservatives played nice for the last two rounds and accomplished nothing. Not likely they´ll fall for the same con game again.

The probem is this: good people don´t want to run. They can see how corrupted and unprincipled the process has become. Even if you are good at the beginning, the good is drained out of you by the time you´ve been through the primaries.
The whole structure of politics right now is inherently corrupted like wood containing termites.

Don´t doubt for a minute there isn´t millions of republicans that would vote for him, just like they fell in line for McCain. Bush´s biggest problem is his immigration stance which might not even matter by 2016.
There´s a big difference between rank and file republicans and the activist wing of the party which is far out numbered.Republican primary voters aren´t very smart until you get to SC.

Several snippets of the audio from the February strategy sessions were published Tuesday by Mother Jones magazine, along with a lengthy article. The recording, obtained from an unnamed source, included McConnell aides discussing ways to politically damage actress Ashley Judd, who at the time was talked about as a possible McConnell challenger.

And we can reduce our deficit, stabilize our debt, and do so without sacrificing the kinds of investments that are going to be required to grow. During his remarks, the president spoke of the

One of the first political issues negotiators must tackle in crafting an immigration reform bill is among the most important: what to name it. It’s a decision that will bruise egos, create legacies and deeply affect subsequent messaging battles. “Every time the bill is mentioned in the press, you either have a brand that´s positive or a brand that doesn´t mean anything or even hurts you,” said Frank Sharry, the executive director of the pro-immigration reform group America’s Voice. The wrong name, he warned, could doom a good bill. “If there´s not a

Beginning a week of high pressure on gun control, the White House on Monday accused some Republican senators of cowardice for planning to filibuster gun legislation without allowing the full Senate to vote on President Obama’s initiatives. “If they oppose this legislation, have the courage to say so on the floor and vote no,” said White House press secretary Jay Carney. “Don’t block it. Don’t hide behind a procedural action to prevent a vote. That’s the wrong thing to do, and that’s how the president clearly feels.”

However, any deal could be derailed by the looming threat of a Republican filibuster involving Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. With Cruz standing proudly in the way of any gun legislation, Democrats are trying to make him pay a political price — and even a couple of high-profile Republicans are questioning his tactics.

And why did the administration lie about who was responsible? Margaret Thatcher had more impact on the world than any woman ruler since Catherine the Great of Russia. Not only did she turn around—decisively—the British economy in the 1980s, she also saw her methods copied in more than 50 countries. "Thatcherism" was the most popular and successful way of running a country in the last quarter of the 20th century and into the 21st. Her origins were humble. Born Oct. 13, 1925, she was the daughter of a grocer in the Lincolnshire town of Grantham. Alfred Roberts was no ordinary shopkeeper.
