Unfortunately for the Republicans this time Mr. Trump is right.

The vast majority of would be legalized aliens, between 11 and 20 million of them, are poor, generally uneducated people, who are low wage earners, who have big families.

Once legalized and eligible, and with human nature being what it is, the vast majority of the legalized aliens are going to access as many of the forms of government financed social welfare and health care programs as they can in order to survive here.

The liberal Democrats are always telling those people that they intend to expand their access to those social welfare programs, and the Republicans are always attempting to contract those social welfare programs. So what political party do you think all those millions of legalized aliens will be voting for?

The US Hispanic voting bloc that already has been voting for the liberal Democrats at about 80%, is not going to vote for the wimpy Republicans because they followed the liberal Democrats lead and gave the liberal Democrats the political cover they need to push amnesty through the Congress, and affectively hand the liberal Democrats at least 10 million new voters in the years ahead.

The wimpy Republicans are flirting with committing long-term political suicide over the bogus thought of Hispanics flocking to them if they would only go along with another amnesty.

Trump is not mocking; he´s telling the truth to the gang who couldn´t shoot straight. I think any Republican thinking of supporting amnesty has a death wish. Ohio´s Gov. Kasich apparently has been drinking some of that same koolaid since he agreed to expand Medicaid to go along with Obamacare - after the Tea Party and Conservatives went to bat for him. Somehow he must think this will curry some favor with dems next year when he´s up for reelection, but like the republicans with amnesty - it will gain him nothing and will lose the base.

They all must think the base has no where else to go, but they must have forgotten that millions stayed home instead of voting for Romney just 3 months ago.

Trump´s massive business enterprises hire tons of low skill, poorly-educated illegals. He knows what he is talking about.

Mexican bias against the GOP is racial. It will never go away. They laugh at GOP politicians begging for their votes. The Democrat party has very successfully branded the GOP as the rich white male party - and the GOP responded by nominating the richest white guy they could find. It won´t help them to nominate Rubio either. No wonder they´re called the stupid party. They kept the border open to get cheap labor, and now we are going to be overrun with people who hate european-americans. Thanks, GOP.

Trump was also wrong about Romney´s electability. Much he does not understand. Way I see it, those Latinos are mostly pro-life, and once the Democrats fully understand that, they will not want them in the party. What they will want is for the GOP to be the ones to keep them out, while the Donks pose as friends. We have absolutely nothing to gain from this game. Those are good people and I am happy to have them in the country, and whatever party they are in, will be the more sensible for it.

If this amnesty goes through, its not just political suicide for the GOP, its suicide for the nation. We´re already on life support and looking terminally ill, but this amnesty would hasten the demise by a factor of 10.

Forget that 11M number, which has stayed the same for the last 10 years. It´s more like 20M and immigration law allows them to bring all their relatives into the country too. Try 100+ million new demonrat voters.

If obama doesn´t get the plan he approves of,he´ll grant amnesty with an exe order on his terms. Rubio´s plan delays any attempt at citizenship way down the road.Obama wants blanket amnesty now.

Thinking that our southern neighbors are pro-life shows a lack of clarity about the culture we speak of.

#5, it is not racial, IMHO it is ideological. To a culture that venerates the concept of ´manana´..(tomorrow, I´ll get to it tomorrow) an overarching Government that takes care of it(maybe manana, but Jose don´ haves to do eet) is paradise.
