AUSTIN - Texas Gov. Rick Perry is airing radio ads in California to convince companies there to relocate to the Lone Star state. A public-private marketing partnership called TexasOne is paying for the 30-second advertisement that touts the state´s low taxes and industry-friendly regulations along with strict limits on lawsuits. In the ad, Perry says that he hears "building a business in California is next to impossible." He calls on California businesses to "come check out Texas."

Californicate is a word we know all to well here on the west coast. Texans would do well to learn it and shut their stupid Governor UP!

Dear Texas,

Just don´t let them infiltrate any governing positions, or they will ruin your state like they did here in Colorao.

(Applause) This is EXACTLY what the United STATES is about - state competition. Romney never passed Federal one size fit all health care for all Americans - he passed Massachussetts healthcare. If you dont like it, you can move to Vermont.

If Colorado want to allow gay marriage partners to smoke pot - GREAT! Then move to Utah where you can actually raise a family.

There is going to be an emigration of makers from Blue to Red states, and an immigration to Blue states of takers. The Blue taker states will increasingly demand the money generated in the Red maker states. The cause of the problem, Barack Obama, will summon his kingly powers and "redistribute" out of "fairness" from Red to Blue, with the full cooperation of a corrupt, sycophant press.

It´s getting easier to predict the future, now that opposition to "helping people" a la Democrat-Marxism no longer has any real effect.

Most liberals in CA are so haughty and snooty that they would never consider relocating to red neck Texas. So the businesses come here and only the down-to-earth people will come with them. Let the libs stay behind and wallow in CA.

I have worked with many of these people and know what I am talking about. In fact, one guy asked me point blank about how he would be treated in Texas as a gay, Jewish, liberal. I told him I couldn´t speak from experience so couldn´t answer his questions, but he didn´t take the job so I guess he self selected out.

I predict we will see a realignment of people where the red states end up with all the conservatives and blue states all the libs and mooches. This is why I think we ought to make it official and divvy up the country sooner rather than later.

It´s not that easy to just pack up and move to another state. You have relocation costs, rehiring a retraining a workforce and in this case leaving a scenic California behind.
Somebody needs to be able to sit down with a calculator and figure out how long it will take for a payback on relocation costs, then you have to worry about Frank/Dodd getting in the way of a loan to pay for it.

It´s hard to believe these days but there are employers who really care about their employees and don´t want to see them being another number on Obama´s weekly tally of jobs lost.

Pat of immigration reform should be doing away with sanctuary cities and states and deny them federal funding if they violate it. I can´t think of a more sanctuary state than cal. and that´s why they´re broke.Every illegal has a bureaucrat behind them making a high salary and benefits which doubles the cost problems.

The federal government won´t reimburse the prison system for housing illegals, even though it´s a federal failure of these people being here.

Listlessness is bad politics. Defensiveness is poor strategy. And resignation is never inspiring. You can feel elements of all three descending around President Obama as he fends off attack after attack from his conservative foes, who vary the subject depending on the day, the circumstance and the opportunity. This sense of drift inspired an explosion over the weekend of disparaging commentary (some of it coming, usually anonymously, from Democrats) about the president’s political infirmities. Obama and his party are in danger of allowing the Republicans to set the terms of the 2014 elections, just as they did four years ago.

Perhaps there is some true justice in the revelation today that Barack Obama, apologist to the world for American greatness, has just given a huge part of that scientific and engineering eminence to a world body that has no legal claim to all that which has come from America’s technological genius. Yes, Silicon Valley, it’s true, your messiah is telling you, “You didn’t build that.” How does it feel to have your legs cut from beneath you by this global leveler who has no regard for the huge amount of endeavor and intellect that has gone into this world-changing technology

There is growing panic among Democrats in Congress about the 2014 elections, and it is based on numerous factors that give them serious anxiety. In the Senate, Democrat Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire just found out that she will be challenged by former Senator Scott Brown of Massachusetts, who has received $600,000 from the Super-Pac American Crossroads, and Democrat Senator Mark Udall of Colorado is now being challenged by Rep. Cory Gardner, a serious threat. In the House, the GOP just won a significant victory in a special election in Florida’s 13th district, which Barack Obama won decisively in 2012.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Investigators have concluded that one or more people with significant flying experience hijacked the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, switched off communication devices and steered it off-course, a Malaysian government official involved in the investigation said Saturday. No motive has been established and no demands have been made known, and it is not yet clear where the plane was taken, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media. Someone who is determined to disbelieve something can manage to disregard an Everest of evidence for it. So Barack Obama will not temper his enthusiasm for increased equality with lucidity about the government’s role in exacerbating inequality. In the movie “Animal House,” Otter, incensed by the expulsion of his fraternity, says: “I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture.” Such thinking gives us minimum-wage increases that do very little for very few. Meanwhile, there are farm bills, like the one Obama signed last month at Michigan State University. MSU was one of the models for

A week into the fruitless search for a missing Malaysian airliner, the focus returned to the possibility that a rogue pilot or hijackers took command of the plane as it flew north over the sea toward Beijing. That fear hinged on the erratic behavior of the plane after it stopped sending radar signals and an indisputable fact: Despite an exhaustive search of the waters that straddle Malaysia and farther into the Indian Ocean, no trace of the Malaysia Airlines Boeing 777 has been found. “It’s looking less and less like an accident,” said a U.S. official who spoke on the

The bizarre movement to “ban” the word “bossy” because it allegedly stigmatizes girls struck many people as ridiculous. But on consideration, it is something far more sophisticated and sinister than mere feminist hyperventilating. Hillary Clinton faces an image problem, and the deep thinkers on her propaganda team know it. In a debate during the 2008 primary campaign, Barack Obama alluded to it when he called her “likable enough,” a backhanded compliment/slap that stung. The president of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council challenges critics of President Obama’s Ukraine policy by saying, “What are you going to do, send the 101st Airborne into Crimea?” Not exactly subtle. And rather silly, considering that no one has proposed such a thing. The alternative to passivity is not war but a serious foreign policy. For the past five years, Obama’s fruitless accommodationism has invited the kind of aggressiveness demonstrated by Iran in Syria, China in the East China Sea and Russia in Ukraine. But what’s done is done. Put that aside. What is to be done now?

And hours before the doomed flight left Kuala Lumpur it is understood 53-year-old Shah attended a controversial trial in which Ibrahim was jailed for five years. Campaigners say the politician, the key challenger to Malaysia’s ruling party, was the victim of a long-running smear campaign and had faced trumped-up charges. By now it’s settled on most people, including Democrats, that the loss of Alex Sink to David Jolly in Florida’s 13th Congressional District was, in the words of the New York Times, “devastating” to Democrats. It’s a district Ms. Sink carried in her unsuccessful race for governor against Rick Scott, a district that Barack Obama carried in his two elections, and a district that demographically now favors Democrats. In addition, Ms. Sink raised more money and ran a better campaign than Jolly. Even Bill Clinton lent his efforts to her campaign. And yet she lost. What should particularly alarm Democrats is
