Carney Tries to Walk Back
Obama´s Boasting on
Skeet Shooting

Breitbart Big Government, by William Bigelow

Barack Obama, in an attempt to appear sympathetic to gun owners´ concerns as he pursues a gun-banning agenda in the wake of the Sandy Hook school shooting, recently bragged that he goes skeet shooting at Camp David “all the time.” Responding to the blowback from skeptics who doubted Obama was telling the unvarnished truth (Marsha Blackburn (R-TN) challenged Obama to a skeet shooting contest), the White House not only released a photo of Obama shooting skeet, but White House press secretary Jay Carney also tried to water down Obama’s statement. Carney claimed Obama had “never pretended to or

I was just reading a story about a high school freshman in Florence Az. who was suspended for having a picture of a gun as his desktop background.
Wonder what would happen if the picture was of obama holding a gun ´shooting´ skeet.

The Democrats in Congress want to take your guns away, period.

They may be "backing down" right now, because they don´t want to lose the 2014 election.

If they can somehow gain seats in the Senate and re-take the House, they´ll have 2 long years to do whatever they´d like just like Obama´s first 2 years as president.

They will seem moderate or reasonable, for now, only hoping to fool enough people.

What people care about is when you are going to go away so that some of us can find a job and restore our totally lost retirements starting from people in my group - 20 years younger than this moron.

"All the time" and "oftentimes" are pretty clear. And not true.

The guy may have picked up a gun last summer. Has he been practicing since then? Um, how many times has he been to Camp David since August?

He should be too smart to get into these cul-de-sacs but that pesky ole ego gets him every time.

Carney reminds me of those women in white overalls who scoop and sweep up after the horses in the Pasadena Rose Parade on New Years. Except that they are cuter. And more amusing.

"Obama´s comments about shooting had been entirely unplanned"

That´s his biggest problem. If it isn´t preloaded into the teleprompter, president momjeans will accidentally inject his inborn stupidity into every statement he makes. Then he must get Carney to talk his way out of it.

I don´t believe the incompetent sissy ever picks up anything more lethal than a golf club. There is too much chance he will hurt himself with it.

Obama is not going to gain any popularity with gun owners and it doesn´t matter how many silly pictures the WH releases of him in his dork clothes awkwardly holding one. We are already well aware of liberal views on our 2nd Amendment rights. #8 is right - a liberal Supreme Court could very well try to eliminate private gun ownership. That is exactly why the 2nd Amendment exists.

I guess I shouldn´t question what a community organizer is, the Useless Media thought was a fantastic qualification to be the President of the United States.

Was there ever a more appropriately named press secretary? Here´s the definition of "carney" from the dictionary: "carny or carney 1 (´k??n?) — vb, -nies , -nying , -nied , -neys , -neying , -neyed. Informal ( Brit ) to coax or cajole or act in a wheedling manner".

I now believe (without a doubt) that Obammy does this stuff deliberately to drive us on the right crazy. It´s his idea of fun. "Hey, Moochell, watch them go nuts when I say I shoot a gun! Ha, Ha. Too funny." Next week he´ll tell us he plays football and was the star quarterback at Hawaii High.

Seriously, if he isn´t doing it with malice a forethought then he is as crazy as Dr. Strangelove and we are in more trouble than we realize.

And usually skeet enthusiasts speak of ´shooting a round of skeet´. Which is 100 shots. That´s 4 boxes of shotgun shells. I wish someone would ask Carney or even Obozo how many shots make up a round of skeet.

WASHINGTON— President Barack Obama supports requiring girls younger than 17 to see a doctor before buying the morning-after pill. But fighting that battle in court comes with its own set of risks. A federal judge in New York on Friday ordered the Food and Drug Administration to lift age restrictions on the sale of emergency contraception, ending the requirement that buyers show proof they’re 17 or older if they want to buy it without a prescription. The ruling accused the Obama administration in no uncertain terms of letting the president’s pending re-election cloud its judgment when it

Projecting madly, the White House on Sunday pushed the notion that Republican intransigence is the reason that Democrats have been unable to pass a budget during President Obama’s tenure. “Right now,” said senior White House advisor Dan Pfeiffer on Fox News Sunday, “the approach of many Republicans, particularly the leadership in the House, is my way or the highway.” This is certainly rich coming from an administration that has failed to garner a single “yes” vote on its budget proposals for the past several years, even from members of its own party. Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

On Friday, Sean Hannity brought Pat Smith, mother of the late Sean Smith, on his radio program. The 34-year-old information management officer was one of four Americans murdered in the Benghazi embassy attack on September 11, 2012. In the chilling interview, a distraught Ms. Smith, in tears, pleaded for answers and spoke of the efforts to silence her. Ms. Smith first relayed how her son, prior to the attack, requested additional security in advance and warned the State Department: He did tell them, ahead of time, he typed it into his little typewriter over there,

Put out an all-points bulletin: Millions of Americans have gone missing from the workforce. Every month that those would-be workers are gone raises the odds that they might never come back, dimming the prospects for future economic growth. The vanishing trend is more than a decade old, but it accelerated during the Great Recession. Throughout 2012, economists held out hope that it had stopped. But then came Friday’s jobs report, and hopes were dashed. The Labor Department reported that the U.S. labor force — everyone who has a job or is looking for one — shrank

Susan Patton, the Princeton alumna who became famous for her letter urging Ivy League women to use their college years to find a mate, has been denounced as a traitor to feminism, to coeducation, to the university ideal. But really she’s something much more interesting: a traitor to her class. Her betrayal consists of being gauche enough to acknowledge publicly a truth that everyone who’s come up through Ivy League culture knows intuitively —

Gluten-free diets are all the rage, but they can be dangerous if not done right. What is gluten? It´s the spongy complex of proteins, found naturally in wheat, rye, and barley, that gives elasticity to dough and allows it to rise. When flour is moistened and either kneaded or mixed into dough, gluten molecules form an elastic, microscopic latticework that traps the carbon dioxide produced when yeast ferments, causing dough to inflate like a hot air balloon. Baking hardens the gluten, which helps the finished product keep its shape. Wheat — and gluten — is ubiquitous in the American diet.

However, the Miami Herald said Washington has issued special licenses for
