When Can the U.S. KillAmericans?
The White House Won´t Say.

National Journal, by Sara Sorcher

Sen. Ron Wyden has spent two years demanding that the Obama administration share its legal opinions justifying the targeted assassinations of suspected American terrorists abroad. After all, as a member of the Intelligence Committee, the Oregon Democrat is entitled (and cleared) to know. How can his panel provide oversight if officials won’t say what legal authority they have, let alone in which countries it applies? The White House has spent those two years stonewalling. “The administration’s position is basically, ‘Trust us,’” Wyden tells National Journal. “Nowhere in the charge to the committee does oversight get defined as trusting the

Let´s not forget Obama has signed executive orders basically allowing Americans to be killed *here*. Indefinite detention w/o charges? Obama signed off on that as well...

So here we have a secretive posturing buffoon killing (at last estimate) 160 ´collateral children´ overseas via drone strikes...

...who expresses dismay when 20 or so white kids make the news getting shot up. He´s never uttered *one* peep about the black slaughterhouse he comes from - Chicago - and seeks to keep secret how many ´off white´ kids he´s killed overseas.

Yeah...that ´transparency´ thing may go down in history as the biggest Obama-lie of all.

And just think of the level of public outcry if *Bush* could be associated with this behavior.

Brave New World, Affirmative Action Version.

Well, Sen Wyden, why don´t you investigate why each and every federal department, agency, bureau, etc. purchased billions of rounds of hollow points, why civilian agencies in states are provided with military equipment, and why military leaders have to pass Barry´s litmus test as to whether they would fire on civilians if given the order to.

7M enrolled doesn´t guarantee

WASHINGTON- Seven million people signed up, so there is an appetite for President Barack Obama´s health care law, but that doesn´t guarantee success for the country´s newest social program. Big challenges are lurking for the next enrollment season, which starts Nov. 15. Chief among them are keeping premiums and other consumer costs in check, and overhauling an enrollment process that was advertised as customer-friendly but turned out to be an ordeal. "They have demonstrated the law can work, but we are a ways off from being able to judge its success," said Larry Levitt, an expert on health insurance markets

Democrats: The Real Party Of The Rich

Free Speech: Right after the Supreme Court´s decision to lift limits on campaign contributions, Democrats and their left-wing supporters assaulted the decision as a boon to Republicans, "the party of the rich." This of course is part of a far-wider narrative — slavishly repeated by largely unquestioning liberal media — that the GOP outspends Democrats on campaigns thanks to big-buck donors like the billionaire Koch brothers. But, as it turns out, that´s a lie — as big a lie, in fact, as "you can keep your insurance," "you can keep your doctor" and "ObamaCare will bend the cost curve down."

A package of tax breaks passed this week by the Senate Finance Committee includes one by New York Democratic Sen. Chuck Schumer that will benefit taxpayers but also likely help the financially struggling bike-share program in Gotham City that is sponsored by Citibank. The plan passed Thursday is part of a larger bill that includes two-year tax extensions on more than 50 provisions worth $85.3 billion. The Schumer amendment would allow commuters who use Citi Bike in New York and other, similar bike-share programs to pay their memberships with pre-tax dollars, as much a $20 a month. Friends, fans and veteran politicos congregated in College Station on Friday to kick off a celebration of George H.W. Bush´s presidency. The event, hosted at the George Bush Presidential Library Center, commemorated the 25th anniversary of his presidency, featured panels on key legislation and culminated with the unveiling of a statue of the 41st president. Neither Bush nor his wife spoke during the event but they did attend some of the panels, much to the delight of the crowd. TOKYO — On his fourth trip to Asia as secretary of defense, Chuck Hagel is attempting to reassure allies in a region brimming with territorial disputes amid concerns about Russia’s takeover of Crimea. Spooked by the speed and ease with which Russia annexed the peninsula last month, close U.S. partners in the region are suddenly questioning the strength of security cooperation agreements with Washington.Addressing U.S. and Japanese troops at Yokota Air Base after landing here Saturday afternoon, Hagel said the United States remains committed to its “partnership, our friendship and our treaty obligations” with Tokyo. “We’re serious about that.” That’s a

In his weekly address, Mr. Obama made his case — without explicitly saying so — why voters should elect more Democrats in this November’s midterm elections and contrasted the GOP plan with his party’s priorities. “This week, the Republicans in Congress put forward a very different budget … it shrinks opportunity and makes it harder for Americans who work hard to get

A federal proposal requiring more efficiency from wood-burning stoves has ignited a debate between the Obama administration and lawmakers who oppose the new regulations, arguing the rules impose an unfair burden on people in remote areas. The Environmental Protection Agency proposed a rule changes in January that would dramatically tighten emissions requirements on new wood-powered heaters, though does not impact ones already in homes. The EPA estimates that as much as 13 percent of all soot pollution in the U.S. is a result of inefficient wood-fired stoves and boilers. Liberals rightly credit TV and movies and pop songs for America’s growing support for gay “marriage.” So why not use that power for Obamacare? Jarrett told the Popsugar crew that

A triumphant President Barack Obama declared Tuesday his signature medical insurance overhaul a success, saying it has made America´s health care system ´a lot better´ in a Rose Garden press conference. But buried in the 7.1 million enrollments he announced in a heavily staged appearance is a more unsettling reality. Numbers from a RAND Corporation study that has been kept under wraps suggest that barely 858,000 previously uninsured Americans – nowhere near 7.1 million – have paid for new policies and joined the ranks of the insured by Monday night.
