Jesse Jackson to march

The Rev. Jesse Jackson pledged to march this weekend on behalf of the Windy City teenager who was shot and killed, days after performing at an event for President Barack Obama’s Inauguration. Jackson said the march would feature his Rainbow PUSH Coalition and the Rev. Al Sharpton, among others. He added that there are a number of factors that drive gun violence beyond gun laws, which are stringent in Chicago. “It’s not just about gun laws; it’s about gun flow and drug flow and job flow,” Jackson said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” “We know where they’re manufactured.

No, it´s about gang culture. Plain and simple. Everything else is a symptom of the violent, destructive culture that has taken over your people on YOUR watch Reverend.

Instead of marching with a crowd go march around at Night...alone... Jesse. Your words should be able to help solve the problem better one on one, Right? It´s not like you have a JOB you have to show up at.

It´s not gun flow and drug flow and job flow - it´s Chica-go. It´s what they do there. And in every predominately black area in any big city in the country.

Opportunists like JJ solve nothing.

Strange that he would come for this one killing when Chicago had over 500 last year. No wonder the gangs are so strong, no one, not their self-appointed leader couldn´t care less about them...

While they´re marching - - maybe they can do some fundraising for Steve Pagones who was slandered and stiffed by Tawana Brawley.

Yeah - - that would put some rainbow back into the coalition.

Hundreds of teens killed in Chicago every year and not a peep from Jackson and Sharpton. Now, this one generates some national attention because of the inauguration tie in and the two hustlers see an opportunity to get their faces on TV and maybe make a buck or two. They aren´t marching for anything except their own self interests. Profiting on her death.

Jesse Jackson and his Rainbow Coalition were among the prime movers in using the Community Redevelopment Act to pressure banks to make loans to people who could not repay them. This directly led to the mortgage bubble, the crash of 2008, and now the high rate of black unemployment contributing to the gang culture. If Jackson wants to see one of the major causes of violence in Chicago all he needs to do is look in the mirror.

Since he and his partner are White it´s possible that they stand a better chance than the Black residents.

Innocents are being slaughtered in his own neighborhood and Obama comments on football. Come back here and talk to your neighbors...it might be a place where your high profile MIGHT do some good.

#11, Crystal Mangum was the hooker who accused the Duke lacrosse players of rape. She lied.
And she is now in prison for shooting her ´boyfriend.´
Separate from that, Jesse continues to argue that the lack of jobs causes violence. but gangbangers have jobs that allow them to earn thousands of dollars a week, dealing drugs. Tax free.
Offer them a real job, and they would laugh at you.

CEOs from Facebook, Google, Netflix and others spent more than two hours with Obama in the Oval Office discussing their concerns about NSA spying programs, which have drawn outrage from tech companies whose data have been scooped up by the government. WASHINGTON— Mayor Vincent Gray often calls the District of Columbia "the envy of the nation" for its robust economy and fast-growing population, but some say the local government he leads — plagued by corruption, pay-to-play politics and disengaged voters — is a stain on the city´s progress. Black students are more likely to be suspended from U.S. public schools — even as tiny preschoolers. The racial disparities in American education, from access to high-level classes and experienced teachers to discipline, were highlighted in a report released Friday by the Education Department´s civil rights arm. The suspensions — and disparities — begin at the earliest grades. Black children represent about 18 percent of children in preschool programs in schools, but they make up almost half of the preschoolers who are suspended more than once, the report said. Six percent of the nation´s districts with preschools reported suspending at

Ellen DeGeneres was a completely slavish toady to President Obama as he appeared on her show to sell Obamacare -- not to young people, but to mothers. The president made his pitch to "especially all the moms out there who may have young people – 26, 27, do not have health insurance, but they think they’re invincible and nothing’s ever going to happen to ‘em – what we’ve said is you never know what life is going to throw at ya."
